Beautiful boutique hotel. This property is a little charming gem that is close to everything Antigua has to offer, yet situated in a quiet location. The property is meticulously maintained. There are beautiful interior gardens and terraces. Recommended for discerning clientele. The entire staff was extremely accommodating in every way. The breakfast options were all delicious and the dining room and outside eating areas were quite lovely.
I inspected personally several other properties during my stay and Los Pasos came in first. Lastly, I wouldn’t recommend this property for families traveling with young children unless they are very well behaved. Additionally, there is no swimming pool if that’s important on your check list.

So I wish I could give it a higher rating, but Friday night we heard amplified music from a wedding until 11 pm. Worse is that Saturday morning, a breakfast meeting had amplified voices before 7 am. So if you book here, ask for a room far away from their meeting room.
2nd main issue is that while our rental car was parked in their lot, manned by a guard, it sustained a crack in the windshield. I have emailed 3 times to get some resolution. Nothing yet. I will update if this issue is resolved.

The location was great for exploring the city on foot, and it was nice to have a restaurant on site with a wide variety of drink and food options. However, bells were set off every morning at 6:00, 6:30, and 7:00 - we were not prepared for this, and had difficulty sleeping. The staff were somewhat helpful, but when I tried to set up a shuttle to pick us up from the Guatemala City airport, they didn't respond after initially setting it up and providing our information. Because of this we had to find a ride at the airport, which was an inconvenience.

I really wanted to love this place. It’s so breathtaking. The staff was pretty nice and welcoming—got into my room a little early. The property is gorgeous but I was very uncomfortable because I couldn’t stay warm. The room had a fountain right outside and I hate noise so this was another drawback for me. It’s very rustic and it gets cold at night and it’s hard to stay warm. No heater just blankets. The biggest perk was the spa and the breakfast. The cacao massage was very good, the therapist did a wonderful job. The restaurant staff was a little distracted and the food was hit or miss. The chilaquiles were probably the best dish , even better than ones I had in Cdmx. The chef was really nice and was eager to make the meal to my liking. I would stay again but ask for a room away from the fountain and during a warm season since they do offer AC just no heating in the rooms.

Lovely hotel for our first few days in Guatemala, very comfortable rooms (hot water in shower takes a while to come through but this is normal) with a lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning overlooking a volcano and very friendly staff. Slightly further out than some hotels but still walkable to eg the main square.

The front desk service was horrible. The staff acted like I was inconveniencing them whenever I needed assistance. My room had a strong mildew smell, and the sheets were damp. Instead of addressing the issue, they tried to cover it with a heavy oil scent. When I asked to change rooms, they wanted to charge an additional $55 per night. They did not honor the VIP access benefits, and the safe in the room was not functioning. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and I would not recommend this property.

Stayed at Los Pasos property for a girls trip with 5 guests. The property was straight out of a fairy tale, charming and whimsical. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and bathrooms. The location was central. Breakfast was included and it was very good! The staff was amazing; Brenda and the team were extremely accomodating and most importantly we felt safe!
We ended up getting soaked in the rain and left our sneakers to dry outside of our rooms. They saw this and messaged me while we were put to ask if they could dry them for us!! This this is what above and beyond service looks like!

This hotel was amazing! Not only was it beautiful, the staff were some of the nicest staff I’ve encountered. They were accommodating and helpful and it was really the small touches that put this property over the top. For example they provided a little keepsake on our pillow at night, they hold the car door open for you, great you warmly. There are a lot of beautiful spaces to gather, a rooftop observation deck, rooftop terrace/dining area, a wine cellar, the bar, spa, and other little nooks and crannies along the way. It is also very clean and you can tell by the number of staff maintaining it that the appearance matters to them. The hotel is about 15 min-17 min walking to most sites so it’s a little further out but it is well worth it.

The hotel public spaces are nice. Check in was seamless with the front desk employees being polite. Our deluxe room was small - however the king size bed, with crisp bedding was really comfortable. The room was really clean - no concerns here. We booked this hotel for the spa and jacuzzi. It was disappointing to learn we could not use the jacuzzi unless a spa package was purchased. Breakfast was included with our stay - the food and service was spotty. If we booked this hotel again, we would pass on the extra cost to include breakfast. The location was ok, less then a 10 minute walk to the city square area. In closing - the hotel is nice but will likely try a different hotel on our next visit to Antigua.
