The apartment complex is very nice. Clean and well equipped with a beautiful view from the balcony. We had an issue with Expedia booking us the wrong apartment. I had booked a two bedroom two bathroom apartment as we were two couples. What we got was a two bedroom one bathroom.
When I stated the mistake to the manager/owner he could not have been more unsympathetic. When asked if the other apartment was available he flatly said no, although we didn't see anyone in that unit for either of our nights. His disdain for guests who book through Expedia could not have been more obvious. If you want to stay here you had best book direct or be prepared to be treated poorly.

Great location…just a short walk to shops and ferry to Russell. Also only 18 min walk to Waitangi so very central. Unit is well maintained but staring to show its age. Kitchen and bathrooms have been revamped…..very good but carpet needs replacing. Views are wonderful, staff are helpful and wifi/ TV Sky worked a treat. Large indoor spa went unused. Overall….recommended.

The location is amazing, but there is no breakfast and there is no common area to visit with other guests at all and if you wanna walk to the beach, there’s no stairs or anything so you have to walk down the driveway so that’s kind of weird, but the view and the location is fantastic. It is very clean. No issues but the other thing is there is no air conditioning and you think that you don’t need it, but you do. They have fans but it got so hot in there even though the weather really wasn’t hot. Part of the reason for my rating is because it was advertised as having breakfast and did not and there was no one to even really answer questions about that. The property is currently up for sale, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Fantastic accommodations, had everything we needed to cook and stay comfortably. There is no air conditioner unit, so take that into account if you run hot - but you can leave the doors open and there are fans to create a beautiful breeze. Really good place to stay and no doubt will return.

You really are paying for the amazing location here. Fantastic views and just across the road from the beach. The apartment itself was fine, a bit dated. My biggest disappointment was the size of the outdoor spa pool - it was a 2 person, which was a bit of a let down given it’s a 3 bedroom apartment. It’s a bit vague on the booking site, with lots of photos of the bigger spa (in the downstairs apartment)

We’ve stayed at many places in and around Paihia and this place was lovely. Superb views, clean, good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, the spa was great. It is elevated away from the foot traffic of Paihia which is a nice change. The dvd library was a welcome blast from the past. Modern, excellent views, captured the sun, warm and clean. Would stay here again.

The view to die for. all day sun. The apartment layout. Massive outdoor area, with spa, outdoor furniture, BBQ. Kitchen well equipped.lots of power points. Easy walk into shops, restaurants, ferry. beach across the road. Comfortable beds and fans in each bedrooms. Dislikes, l lack of parking on site, only one car park for a 3 Bedroom apartment. But did let one car park in staff parking. Tight parking area. Only legal parking down the road. Lack of water pressure in showers. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

This apartment had a fabulous shore and sea view with great facilities. It was comfortable in all ways with the use of a spa pool on the deck. There were laundry options and the kitchen was fully equipped. It's location was perfect for us being within walking distance of shopping, the wharf, a supermarket and restaurants. We enjoyed a great takeaway meal of fish and chips.

This was a fantastic place to stay at the Bay of Island. Great view as on top of the hill. Close to everything, room was fantastic for 3 adults and would suit a family as roomy, self contained was excellent. Was in a great position and close enough to everything. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and the view from our terrace was spectacular. The hot tub was used every day and great after a long day's sightseeing. Only tiny criticism was the beds were a bit hard for us but of course bed firmness is down to personal taste.

Amazing view and staff. Logan was excellent from the day we checked in to any request made to check out. Very clean apartment and excellent location. Great Kitchen space and living area. All kitchen appliances to cutlery and pots and kitchen items were clean and very well presented on shelves. Amazing views from living area and room balcony of the beach and sea and nights were so quiet and relaxing with just waves to hear. Spa could have been a degree or two warmer for the cold night as it cooled down even without bubbles. Happy to book another stay ,cheers

A great little apartment, easy walk into Paihia. The manager Doug was very helpful and informative, with lots of local knowledge and history. Everything you need was in the apartment and a supermarket is within a five minute walk. The beach is directly opposite apartment, safe swimming. Boat trips and water activities close by and Doug had information and was able to book a boat trip for us.

The property sits on a hill overlooking the harbor. The views are beautiful. Our jacuzzi didn't face the sea like in the picture, however. :-)

The property is a 15-minute walk from the edge of town center. A large supermarket is close by. Evenings are peaceful and quiet, save for the rare street racer with a loud exhaust.

The units feature very functional kitchens, a dishwasher, and a clothes washer. The two guest laundry clothes dryers are communal; are only supposed to be used from 8:00-20:00.

Across the street is the beach. The sand quality varies, much of the nearby beach consists of ground-up/broken shells. When there is big wave action offshore (think 3 m swells), the waves inside the harbor might reach a height of 1m and passing boats may generate bigger waves. We had a lot of fun with the bodyboards and beach toys that the hotel lends out for free. Beach towels have to be signed out and replaced at reception.

The in-unit jacuzzi was a lot of fun. The jacuzzis are multi-use so there is a large insulated cover that you have to remove before using it, along with the expectation that everyone who wants to jump in also showers first.

If there is one thing I disliked, it was the lack of a pedestrian path to the beach. You have to walk down the very steep driveway (w/o a sidewalk) and hopefully no car is coming charging your way at the same time. Parking inside the odd-shaped parking lot could be challenging during full occupancy.

Great views of the bay, really enjoyed the spa pool. The room was quite basic but has everything that we needed for our short stay. Very helpful check in with lots of useful suggestions and recommendations for sightseeing, dining, etc. We accidentally booked the wrong nights for our stay and didn’t realize until arriving the day before. We contacted them to inform them we would be arriving a day late and they were quick to respond and offered to corrected our booking free of charge for which we were extremely grateful. Would definitely recommend.

The situation of the apartments is absolutely wonderful offering fantastic views over Bay of Islands. It's a little way from the centre of Paihia and the shops and eating establishments but the distance is easily walkable or can be driven in a couple of minutes. It is less than 2 minutes from a lovely section of sandy beach so that one can be in the sea almost immediately after arrival.
The apartment we stayed in was really well equipped with a hob, full electric fan oven, microwave, fridge freezer and decent range of pans and other kitchen equipment so that it is perfectly possible to fully self-cater if desired. The apartment was very well designed so that, although not large, it felt remarkably spacious. We were also fortunate to have a wonderful terrace with a hot tub, table and chairs and a couple of loungers, all with wonderful views. We were really impressed with the quality of the accommodation which was of a really high standard.

Best sea view property with 5-star facility

We stayed in a unit with seaview and jacucci on balcony. One king size bed room with full view. One king size bed room without view (the only minus point).

However, it's equipped with a full kitchen, above average whitewave, well stocked cutlery. BBQ on balcony with all tools. Even makeup removal towels are provided in bathroom. Mattress and pillows match ones in any 4/5 star hotels.

A very happy stay, will stay again. The host Doug is helpful and friendly.

Stayed for three nights. The apartment was very clean and tidy. It has everything you need i.e. cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, etc and everything was in near new condition. Close to the beaches, easy walking to ferries, to grocery store, to gas station. Lots of waterfalls really close to this area, also. New Zealand has excellent walking trails that are kept up and good signage. Many of these trails are paved.
