Excellent location, highly recommend! This place was exactly what we needed for our 4-day trip to Bar Harbor. It’s within walking distance to the Main Street and has a large, free parking lot.

We highly recommend staying at the Anchorage Motel in Bar Harbor! There are several restaurants within a couple of minutes walking and downtown Bar Harbor (including where to grab the Island Explorer shuttle) is right up the street. Staff was friendly and there's fresh water/coffee always available in the check in area. The room was well air conditioned and clean, just a bit too bright in the early morning sun so some blackout curtains would be nice. Parking is free/easy. Overall fantastic deal for staying right in the heart of Bar Harbor and minutes from Acadia National Park!

The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. I love that the room has 3 windows that all can be opened, one in the bathroom and 2 in the bedroom. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is great, within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Excellent location, clean and serviceable room. The hotel is very close and easy walking distance to the center of Bar Harbor. We never had to struggle with parking downtown. The room was a motel room, and was clean and fine for our needs while visiting Acadia national park and Bar Harbor. Our room did have a refrigeration, but I would have preferred a coffer maker in the room. However, we were able to get hot coffee in the main office, even at 4:00am on the day we went to the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. I enjoyed relaxing and reading in the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn of the motel.

D’autant plus que d’entendre les bruits (ronglements) des chambres sous et à côté, ne nous ont pas plu.

So bad to the point that we would hold our breath so we wouldn’t have to breathe it in while going in and out. The terrible smell stayed consistent for our entire stay. The rooms smelled good and fresh, it was just the stairwell. This might not be something every person would take issue with but I have a very sensitive nose, so smell is something I can’t help but consider lol.
These issues weren’t anything major and we did have a wonderful stay. With us staying in the off-season, I can see how these things may have gotten overlooked and not prioritized. Besides that, the property is very easy to get to and it’s only about a two minute walk from the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
