Also couldn't get the TV to connect for more than 30 minutes at a time which meant all of the loud noises for even louder. The plumbing from the other room sounded like it was coming through the wall and woke us up both nights we were there. Our stay at the Bangor Hotel connected to the airport was quieter.

This is a motel, not a hotel. It’s a 50s era motor court. That being said, location is fantastic. Short walk to downtown Bar Harbor and a few minutes drive to Acadia. The parking is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. But…the rooms are tired, beds need replacing, ROKU TV is inconvenient and the bathroom is small and outdated. Way way overpriced for an aging motel.

We picked this property because of its location. Convient to downtown Bar Harbor. The facility is dated and shows its age. The staff is rude and uncaring. Went to office day one to let them know we could get no tv reception. Their comment was “we are on an island you know “. Be prepared the tv reception is almost nonexistent between 5pm and midnight when everyone is on the internet. If you do not have a tv service you can log onto you will not be able to see network channels. Just the ones no one wants to see.

Our TV did not work after the first few hours of a multi-day stay and we were told that reception was internet dependent and sketchy at times. This was a big inconvenience not getting weather, news and sports shows. The high cost of the room would suggest they need to provide more reliable service.

Great location and great service, but room was not what I would expect for $300 a night. Very small bathroom, paper thin walls, uncomfortable pillows, no coffee machine in the room, and no desk or coffee table for me to work on. The maid left a dirty coffee cup between the bed and nightstand from the former occupants. Super nice at the front desk but probably won't stay there again.
