Exceptional service. Wonderful location. Beautiful lobby. Comfy beds and linens. In room safe. Plentiful variety of breakfast foods in a luxurious setting, with Bosphorus view. There are little shops and restaurants and a small coffee/ tea garden Park within 200 meters. The ferry is just across the street and Sariyer downtown area is a brisk 15 minute walk.

I stayed at Fuat Pasa for a wedding. The hotel is beautiful and although my room was on the smaller side, it was nice. However it did not have air conditioning as advertised, and when my partner inquired about this at the front desk, they took the safety off of our window so that it could be opened all the way. This did help get a breeze to cool off the room, but people kept smoking right outside the window so our options were to have the room wreak of cigarettes but comfortable temperature, or no cigarette smell but very hot 48 C. After speaking with other hotel guests who attended the same wedding, it seems that none of our rooms had air conditioning. If you choose to stay here and temperature is important to you, I recommend getting a room with an exterior window because guests who had an interior window said they weren't able to get their hotel room below 47 C. Overall, aside from lack of air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay. We didn't eat the hotel breakfast so I cannot speak to that.

The servers at breakfast buffet should be more proactive in waiting on the customers, not just clearing their dishes. Offering them another cup of coffee or tea. Instead of standing in the corner chatting with each other. Almost every day I had to tell them they ran out of coffee or cay. Also, the coffee machine that made special coffees, only worked 1 day out of 5.

Property was unpleasant and old. Cleanliness of the room was questionable. Staff were rude and not warm and welcoming. They all seemed irritated and unhappy. It made us very uncomfortable. Zero hospitality. They wouldn’t let us have an access to entire property. I feel scammed. I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It seems like the hotel is going through some management related issues. When we arrived, they gave us a wrong room. Later, they gave us a different one but the room smelled as if someone just smoked in the room. We realized people smoke in the rooms even though it's prohibited after questioning. They finally gave us a room that we could stay after the third time.

The room quality is below the quality of what you would expect for the price you are paying. Room floor was dirty. They have to remodel the bathroom. It's a challenge to take a shower in the bathroom.

The hotel only sells the view but nothing else. I would not stay in this hotel once again and I would not recommend anybody to stay here.

This would have been in the past an excellent hotel. Its location is great with a Bosphorus prime view and ferry terminal right outside. The Spanish Embassy is located across the road. It has large dining capability 24h room service and conference capability which is sadly under used. The result is that it has slipped behind in terms of quality of furnishings and service. Needs better TV and channels and improvements to room. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay.

Just make sure air con works begore book

Would of been great if Aircon was working as on the night it was 31 degrees in our room it was very uncomfortable as too hot. To get told by reception to open the window.. problem being window opened into the foyer where reception was and we was 1st floor right next to function room amd where you go for breakfast . They was a wedding on the night noise was horrendous no draft as plastic roof!

The staff was unfriendly, room was too small that we couldn’t fit our luggage. The bed Matress was uncomfortable, no proper bedding. AC leaking when arrived and in the middle of the night, which caused our shoes to be damaged by the water leaked. Staff refused to give us 2 cards for the room.

Definitely don’t recommend it I even didn’t stay the second night booked and moved to another hotel due to the above issues faced.

The hotel is located on a main road, extremely loud! The hotel also hosts multiple local weddings p/week and the floor board literally shake with extremely loud music till midnight. Rooms are small but nice enough. Staff are almost ignorant till you say something. Definitely consider somewhere else

Two stars for the location, AC was cooling itself, room temperature was 78-80F while outside was 72F. Power outlets was out of this world. This place is still in the 18th century as they mentioned since the 18th century on the signs.. They don't have wifi as well.. They put everything to plastic bags not mentioned sanitized, clean or dirty..

unique, absolutely charming ottoman villa turned into a hotel. wonderful staff, great breakfast. Maybe far from the city center, yet has its own shopping streets and restaurants. And one can always take the bus or a taxi to the hustle and bustle of Istanbul anyway. lovely, just lovely place by the sea, looking over to Asia from Europe

Stayed one night only. The breakfast (included) was very good. However, the room (213) was clean but too small. No chairs or anything similar.The bed was so close to the wardrobe that the wardrobe doors opened only 30%. Hard to hang anything.
The AC/Heating system was unadjustable. The control unit only functioned on or off. Thermostat adjaustment did not function.
The hand held shower pipe/tube in the bath leaked. The
positioning of the shower system plumbing needs revision. I am at loss to understand the rating of \"Special Class\"

Walk along the Bosporus

We stay at this hotel because of location which just out the door you can walk for miles along the Bosporus. Staff is excellent. Food is excellent. Rooms are European size. Beds are good and firm.
Is 100 % Turkish style. Lots of heavy gold trimmings. Nevertheless, a nice little hotel.

Very good Hotel close to the airport and just 5 minutes away from the center, nice room especially if you have a family, we had queen bed plus 2 extra separate beds for the kids.

It is a very old mansion right next to Istanbul Bosphorus blue waters and 10 minutes walk to Sariyer town. So, you are close to food, transportation, banks, money exchange places, shops... Overall, the staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast has a lot of options and the food is delicious. The rooms are very small. The equipment is a little old. They had issues with ACs which we need to call the staff a couple of times, they fixed it each time but it felt a little inconvenient. The location and and the view is amazing.

Great staff and pleasant stay overall. You can't beat the price/quality ratio. The issues were excessive heating of the room (I had to sleep with a window open in winter) and poor wifi reception. Cheaper rooms are small (think Paris). If you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night, there will almost surely be an event, which can get pretty loud. Ask for a quiet room. Sariyer is quiet and uneventful, but a few good fish/seafood restaurants available.

Avoid like the plague

Stayed at this hotel and was made to feel like we were in the way as it’s used all week as a wedding venue so stuck us in a tiny room above all the noise this ment we had no sleep all week with loud music till midnight each night
We did ask to be moved but we’re just egnored,
But the worst part was when we came to check out
We had pre paid via Hotels.com
And they tried to make us pay again at 4am and held us there until we could get Hotels.com to sort the problem we nearly missed our plane
The guy on reception was arrogant and very rude would not listen or read my reciept paperwork to prove we had paid and didn’t even apologise when he was proved wrong
So my advice is do not book this hotel

Classy hotel near the pier

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel, very nice and quite. It’s probably because our room was facing a roof. Haha... we forgot to mention in or booking so, it’s best to inform them that you want the sea view because the view is spectacular. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Anyone who plans to stay in Seriyer area I highly recommend at Hotel Fuat Pasa Yelisi.

I picked this hotel to be on the Bosporus!

The pictures n the actual setting is not the same. I picked a room with two beds n balcony but giving a room/ one bed no balcony. They said there is no room like that but there was . They reserved to. wedding guests which is ok but tell me the truth, I can go find another hotel.
After hours wanted to sit out side they did not allow us kind of rude!
But room service was great n timely.
I want stay there again n don't recommend to anyone because of the cold treatment!

Wedding hotel, but not to enjoy Bosphorus

According to price, Expedia photos and stars - I expected an good local hotel, overviewing Bosphorus, and giving me an calm night on the road with all the enjoyment of great place... The reality is a bit different, in small details, but ruining all the picture :( Yes, hotel is well managed, clean, nice and expensive decorated, - up to 4 stars rating. Conditioning is good, shower room - ok, bed - nice. But for two hundred USD I got just corner room, with minimal view on the Bosphorus, while a day before - for much less price, in great central hotel of Istanbul I enjoy 12th floor overview of the whole great city and sea around...
Going down to terasse to seat there, and get the beer with the view - restaraunt is empty and didnt much \"alive\", same to open terrase with the small swimming pool. I expect that on request they may make smth for me - but dont like much this \"dead\" atmosphere (like the wedding ends, people go)... The view itself from the front of the hotel is on road along Bosphorus, with quite a traffic.
Neibourhood surrounding the hotel is regular small city, no much \"space\" to walk, no sightseeing places, few shops and local peoples small party place... Its ** (2 star) environment...
So, in general - to have a comfortable night You may spent twice less. To have a great expirience - look for other places...
P.S. small hotel parking is nearby, its free. Internet is fast. Breakfast is minimal, and again - very alone...

Giriş ve çıkış çok rahat ve düzenli oldu. Vale otopark imkanı mevcut. Otel giriş itibari ile sizi geçmişe götürüyor. Personel gayet güleryüzlü, yardımcı ve çözüm üretici. Sabah kahvaltısı yeterli ve lezzetli. Odalar rahat, özellikle deniz manzaralı oda seçilirse daha keyifli. Otelin en güzel özelliği bana göre tiyatro olması. İlk günümüzde keyifli tiyatro izleme imkanımız da oldu. Sandalyeler biraz rahatsız dolayısı ile oyunlar kısa olması iyi. Tüm menü için birşey demem yanlış olur ama giriş yaptıktan sonra sipariş ettiğimiz Club Sandwich gerçekten çok çok kötüydü. Her kaldığım otelde mutlaka denediğim bir sandwichtir ve burada maalesef yenecek gibi değildi. Tekrar kalma konusunda bizim açımızdan olumlu bir deneyim oldu.

There was a wedding there & the wedding hosts would not let us walk around the hotel to explore! They wouldn't let us take photos of ourselves in the common areas. The hotel was unfortunately ok with this, won't be staying again because of this
