I found all the accommodations at least acceptable. Being from the US, I generally expect rooms to have both heating and air conditioning. While this room did have heating, my stay was on a hot evening, and my only solution was to open the room’s windows to the slightly cooler outside. I was pleased to find my room had a clean bathroom equipped with complementary shampoo and plenty of hot water. The towels were completely adequate, and though not the softest, seemed to be clean and of good size. I found the rooms bedding on par with most hotels. Clean, of good size and comfortable. The carpeted floor was in good condition with no stains or visible wear. I cannot speak to its sterility. Of minor note, the room has clearly been renovated at least once, as well as its furniture. The visible electrical sockets were in an inconvenient location, far from both the rooms desk and permanent luggage rack. For its price, the room was perfectly usable, and quite nice considering its proximity to Prague.

About as good as it gets. Nice big room very spacious air conditioning worked well, shower was fantastic, efficient check-in, restaurant looked good but we never made it there in time we had breakfast three times there and best meals we had in Prague. We never got into any fine dining because of our short stay and the fast food at McDonald's was total crap. I would recommend this hotel to anybody as it's in a beautiful location out of the craziness of staying in the city and basically a flawless day.

We loved this hotel. Front desk gentleman was very helpful with directions, transportation, suggestions, etc. He even let us borrow the front desk fan as our room was quite hot! The family suite was wonderful for our family of 4. The breakfast was wonderful. Loved that the parking was easy and free. The tram into the city center was a bit of a walk, but not too bad.

Best value for money!!

Good size room, shower room with bathtub, hairdryer and some amenity goods, free private parking, 24-hour front desk with decent receptionists, breakfast is served in bar area with plenty of space to sit-down, big comfortable bed. Free WiFi in the room but we couldn't be bothered to register to use it, \"Bar and Restaurant\" down stairs was closed earlier than the information, Bar does NOT accept card payment (We didn't have any cash on us but we could pay by card at the hotel reception in the end, however we were charged 30% added to the original price), room and bar were a bit dirty especially furniture, tables and placemats, we were trying to call the hotel but phone line wasn't working at all.

The Hotel is amazing for the price especially for families, it is surrounded by gardens and a playground that children can play in. We rented a double room for 44$/night (all taxes included). The hotel is a 15 mins away from Prague located in a very calm and nice green area. Spacious parking and good walk. Breakfast was nice, yet very basic and it can be a little bit richer. Staff are nice, not very good English but enough to understand. Rooms and the bathroom are spacious and the view from the rooms is amazing. Only downside is that there was no flip flops provided so we had to walk bare foot at night.
Rent this hotel, it is great you will love staying here.

We had the best stay here. Our flight was cancelled and we had no idea what to do or where to go. Hotel michael was open 24/7 and were very welcoming and made a quick booking easy and stress free. We had a pleasant sleep and great experience. We would definitely stay here on another trip to prague.

The hotel was quite clean, but the condition of hotel was not the best. New carpets, painting and the lift door service will help the Hotel to earn the 4* (the reality is 3*) but overall the staff was helpfull, and the price was low, so it worth the money, it was a nice stay of four nights.

Decent Hotel away from Prague, Easy Access

This hotel is quite nice, a comfortable distance from downtown Prague. The room was a nice size, and very clean. There was no shower in the room. Very odd. A shower head that could not be stationed more than about two feet from the tub floor and half a glass door that could not be moved nor had the ability to enclose the tub. The desk attendant was quite friendly, as she gave us directions and advice on how to catch the tram into Prague. There is a restaurant on the property which is isolated from restaurants and other hotels, but don't expect to eat there. Dinner is served but the service is slow and food marginal at best. Breakfast was just fine, however. Nice neighborhood of large homes and well-maintained yards.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Michael. The rooms are a bit small, but clean. The staff pay attention to detail. When we went to our room we found it was already provided with a crib for our toddler. The breakfast buffet is decent, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, with a children's table with coloring materials and toys. The hotel is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood about 20 minutes away from the city center.

Very good value, clean and very friendly with ample breakfasts. 5 minutes walk to tram and a 20 minute ride to town. Car is securely parked and better left at hotel than taking to town to try to get parked! Very quiet at night and bar area is rarely used. Promotes itself as 4 Star but I'm afraid 3 Star is nearer the mark, if the location suits you then go for it.

We were expecting it to be in much better condition based on it having 4 stars in its rating. There were spiders in our room and everything looked like it needed updating. The TV in the room was 13 inches, and from the bed it could hardly be seen.

Great place to stay. Strong wi-fi and lots of space in their parking lot just next to the entrance. It's relatively far from city center but this was fine for us as we rented a car. You end up somewhere on a hill. We also had dinner here, and it be prices were reasonable and the food pretty good. The free breakfast was also great!

The hotel is new. The service is great. all the girls in the reception were very helpful. They helped us with our questions, calling taxis and gave suggestions. The only thing was they gave us a room in a floor with no Air conditioning. Being that we are from the United States it was very hot for us at night. The windows can be wide open and although it somewhat cool outside we were hot and sticky throughout the night. The breakfast was limited and small.

While facilities and staff was good. The room was very small, and we go the end room, which was literally \"attic\" room because at one end of the room there was no more that 5 ft height. After the two beds, there was barely any room to walk.

Wireless internet service was very slow and inconsistent.

Overall I would rate 2 1/2 to 3 stars at the most.

Good for families, but not close to center.

This hotel had nice accommodation for my family, with the kids being in a separate room. The bathroom was tiny, but was clean and worked. Breakfast was so-so. We didn't try the restaurant at night since the breakfast wasn't so spectacular. We chose this hotel for the secure parking since we drove over from Poland for the couple of days. To get to the main part of Prague, you take the tram located at the bottom of the hill -- 8-10 minute walk with kids. The hotel front desk sells the tickets, so that part was easy enough. They give you helpful directions as well on which tram to take and where to stop. A tram arrives every 2-4 minutes....so this worked for us well. The hotel isn't anywhere near city center. It's located in a neighborhood with high rises and homes all around. It seemed pretty desolate to me, but safe enough. There were no restaurants close by, so we ate in old Prague for lunches and dinners.

Great gem of a hotel

Stayed for several days and would gladly return. The service is top-notch and 24/7. The train is about 10 min. walk and tickets are available at front desk. Included breakfast has a great selection: the restaurant is inexpensive, with excellent freshly prepared food and great service from Radovan. Our room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. Parking is on-property. I definitely would choose this place again!

Room Confusion

After checking in we discovered that we had been given the wrong room (a twin bed room instead of a double + extra single). Reception managed to find us another room with a double bed, but were not able to supply an extra bed until the next day. We moved across but later realised that it had no air con and 2 of the blinds were broken on the Velux style windows, so not totally impressed as you can imagine, but as it was late and we were tired we stayed in the replacement room. Shower room was very small and the shower gel/shampoo were like sample sachets you get in magazines - not enough for one person let alone the three of us staying in a room. Apart from that, the breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. For a four star rated hotel I was very disappointed. I've stayed at 3 star hotels much better than this. I'm sorry, but at best I would say this is a 2 to 3 star hotel.

Great Food, Great Hotel, Secure Parking

This Hotel is has great food either eating breakfast and/or for dinner. The management was truly outstanding from the moment we showed up to the time we left. They really care for the quest and the well being of the quest. The Hotel is about 6 kilometers form down town and we were told that they can bring us there if we choose and to get us if need. We didn't do this reason is we had a rental car and when driving to the main center parking was pretty easy for us. When we got done with the end of the day we parked the car in their secure parking lot which was free unlike other places. Internet net was truly fast and free unlike other places. Room was warm and cozy, Overhaul this Hotel was truly awesome and will make plans again.

To begin with the hotel had lost my Hotels.com booking, not a great start to our arrival. Beds are comfortable but polyester sheets and thread bare towels ate not very nice. The breakfast buffet is not particularly inspiring, stale bread and rolls. The juice tastes like watered down cordial. Selection of cereals is fine. The hotel is very convenient to the tram to take you right into the centre of Prague. Buy the tickets at reception. The restaurant/pub near the tram stop is very good, lovely local atmosphere and cheap!

Very helpful staff. Triple room had a big bedroom with a high ceiling but a tiny bathroom with no bathtub. Also no safe in room. Pretty quiet. 10 minutes from #17 tram which takes you to old town in 20 minutes. Very good restaurant.

This hotel was not as great as I thought it would be - considering the price tag and reviews. The restaurant was pricey, the room small and bed a bit uncomfortable - really poor pillows. Girl at reception was lovely and very helpful. Just overpriced for what it delivered. We checked out and checked into a lovely hotel only a few Kim's away for our second night in Prague. It is close to the tram and easy to get into the city.

Great Hotel in a nice quiet location

Really enjoyed our stay at hotel Michael. Good location out of town with a decent and cheap public transport link into the city centre. We arrived without prior booking but had checked the online prices before we arrived. On arrival we were quoted a much higher price than online but were allowed to use the hotels free WIFI to book online for much less. The booking confirmation printed out at the desk almost instantly.
I should mention that we traveled there via motorcycle and I had no worries about leaving my pride n joy in the free onsite car park as it's monitored 24hrs. Breakfast was basic but nice enough and free of charge so overall a big thumbs up.

The good: Breakfast, parking and tram to town centre ok. The bad: food, crockery and cutlery all run out at breakfast, guests have to go to reception to get action. Kitchen staff walk past uncleared tables to get a coffee. No air conditioning, window only, not as advertised. Parking not secure as advertised. Wifi a joke unless you sit in lobby. Room not clean on arrival, scrap paper on floor and large dead insect on window sill, still there when we left. No cleaning for many rooms, no clean towells to be had, on Saturday. Reception could not give a hoot. Senior reception lady is the only professional on site, worth her wait in gold. The rest? You guess.

Perfect

Superb staff, good breakfast, very clean room. You can't beat this price with free parking and WIFI in the room. Was the Tram a 1/2 mile walk? Sure, but we enjoyed the walk.

from this website i had reserved smocking room while they didnt have it!
they have very bad breakfast even i ate nothing!!
the water had yellowish color!

PROS: Courteous and helpful staff. Reliable and fast wifi. Clean and spacious room. CONS: No fridge and safe deposit box in room. Tiny TV. The construction materials in the room makes it feel like a 3-star rather a 4-star hotel. 7-10 minute walk to the tram stop.

Wonderful clean hotel

We enjoyed Hotel Michael. It is very clean, in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It is close enough to the center of town if you have a car. The breakfast was excellent.

Great Stay at Michael's Hotel

The staff is polite, friendly and professional; the breakfast is good and has a good variety. The hotel has a restaurant and the dinner was quite good and the price was fair. Overall, it was a good stay and within 10 minutes driving from the city; we didn't use the local transportation as we drove but that might be a good choice as driving through Prague can be challenging.

My weeken break in Prague

On arrival was given a nice welcome and quite a bit of information about local transport etc. I was very happy with the hotel in general, but tea and coffee making facilities would have been useful. I don't know if many english speaking visitors use the hotel but if they do some english speaking tv channels would be handy. Some visitors may just go out during the day and due to the location being far from the usual sight seeing spots would want to stay at the hotel during the evening and watch a bit of telly. All in all I did enjoy my stay and would stay again.

Very nice hotel. They all speak english and were very helpful with any questions we had. Very clean rooms. If you have a car it is no big deal to get to the center of Prague. No problem with parking either.
