Poor reception specially at check out. They asked for extra bed fees while our reservation includes room for three guests with breakfast. And it was clear in the reservation that the room is fully paid except the city tax which we have to pay at the hotel.
We showed the reception guy our booking details but he didn’t listen.

Its our 3rd hotel in Czech and no one asked for this extra fees since we pre-paid the reservation by expedia while booking time .

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my stay near Prague. This hotel was close to the city, it was very clean and staff was really friendly and patient with my questions as it was my first time in the Czech Republic. They helped me figure out the best time to visit certain sights in the city, best time to dodge traffic and navigate to where I wanted to go, amongst many other helpful things. I really loved the area around the hotel where I could walk around. I highly recommend this place to everyone and hope to stay here again when I visit Prague.

Interesting historical building

The hotel is an interesting old building although not especially large. The grounds are limited in size but there is some woodland very close by but not clearly signposted. It required a bus ride followed by metro to get to the city centre which took about half an hour and cost about £1 each way. Very little to do in the immediate area. The food was excellent although limited options for vegetarians for dinner. Breakfast was a buffet and excellent. There is no lounge area for relaxing and no bar snacks. Limited drinks options. Spa facility is not included and not communal. 10%-15% discount for hotel guests for spa and restaurant. Rooms are cleaned every day. Apples and fresh water provided in rooms and reception. Staff are helpful and polite when approached. All speak English well.

Place was very nice. The grounds are immaculate. I did not utilize the spa and massage, but the space was very inviting. Buffet breakfast was fine. The shower is small. That’s a European thing. I received a voucher for a complimentary drink from the bar. They offer a full mini bar in the room and complimentary water. The bottle containing the water is a St. Havel personalized glass bottle that is available for sale. It makes a grey souvenir.
I would stay there again.

A fantastic property with an amazing restaurant on property we selected because of the wellness facilities, air conditioning, and free parking. Unfortunately the A/C unit in our room was not up to the task and we needed to open the windows to get fresh air, however with the close proximity to the highway, railway, and smoking area out back our night's sleep was not as peaceful as we hoped. Also was surprised that there was a fee associated with the wellness as it had been included with our previous wellness hotel.

A wonderful hotel just outside the city centre.

What a gem of a hotel. Tucked away from the tourist throng of the city center with plenty of parking, an excellent restaurant, bar and wellness facilities too. My room was well furnished and comfortable. Dinner was delicious and prepared to a superb standard. I cannot daily the hotel at all.
The staff were helpful and charming. Access to the city is easy (a 10 minute taxi/Uber) and cheap. Access was so easy, I drove in from Brno and the hotel is 5 minutes from the highway.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The grounds and golf area are immaculate; clean and lush green everywhere but the hotel inside is even better!

The staff at the front desk, bar area, and wait staff were awesome. Very pleasant and helpful if we had questions or a request.

We were greeted by an awesome young lady who was excited we were visiting. The rest of the staff was ok. They called taxis for us when needed. We did get a free taxi ride at the end of our stay. That was awesome.

We probably would not stay there again ONLY because of its proximity to the city center. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel.

Though it is a little away from the city, the wellness center makes up for the distance. The staff is reasonably friendly, and if you are looking to have a relaxed time, this is a good place. However if you are looking for a high voltage visit to prague covering as many tourist destinations as possible, the hotel's location will let you down

Chateau behind the railroad.

Very nice place with pleasant staff and excellent buffet breakfast. It is out of way so you need a car or taxi. The only downside is a terrible entrance. A run down gas station and few scary looking building on a hole riddled road. But once you pass you are in a pleasant park.

Awesome hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer, this was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip. This is a beautiful hotel that is hidden away. It's a little tricky to find if you are coming by car but very easy to get to by subway and bus from the main tourist areas of the city. The building is lovely, breakfast is excellent, rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Being outside the main area of the city is also really nice after walking among the crowds and traffic all day. The location here is incredibly peaceful for an urban hotel. The hotel covers the shuttle fair one way into the city each day and you can take the subway to budejovicka and the bus from there (covered with your subway ticket.) The bus stop is at the entrance to the hotel so it really couldn't get much easier. Just follow the blue arrow signs on on the ground at the subway station and they take you right to the bus stop you need to get back.

We were allocated a smaller room on our 1st night - place was fully booked mainly due to a wedding at the time. However on request, we were transferred to a much nicer and bigger room for the next 2 nights. Thanks to Adela, the lady at the reception who was exceptionally helpful, cheerful and friendly. Breakfast had good offerings of hot and cold. Free parking, lovely surroundings, happy with this hotel overall.

i will never stay at this hotel ever again. first of all the room was dirty, you would have to be a very short person if you wanted to take a bath in that tub. for what i payed for thay hotel you would think the ac would not leak all night so you hear dripping. this place stunk and it was hard to find nothing around.

The people and hotel were great. It was away from the center, but they provided a free cab into town daily. Getting back by subway & bus was easy if you are familiar with those methods of transportation. We were rusty and struggled a bit with that at first due to the language barrier, but it all worked out in the end.

Hotel offers 1-way to city center by taxi. have to make your own way back from City center by metro and then bus, walk 300m from bus stop to hotel. Walkway may be a little too quiet for my comfort. We were welcomed warmly by a \"smiley\" receptionist who was able to communicate with us in English. She explained the usual hotel things, including the excellent free taxi run each day into the city.

We were a little disappointed with the room (210) which was advertised as a \"Superior\" room but in size and facilities it begged the question \"Superior to what?\". Don't expect a room like the one on the hotel photographs and you will be fine. No bath and not much storage, no tea or coffee making facities, interestingly the hair dryer was conveniently placed directly above the washing basin in the bathroom...so empty the sink before you dry your hair!

Breakfast was in keeping with a \"chateau\", good quality, loads of choice, and plenty of fresh food, but a very busy room with early morning business people mingling with hotel guests, which made the experience a little stressed.

Staff at breakfast were more servile than surly, as the traditional culture of service seems to include avoiding eye contact and being \"in the background\"

Strange surroundings for a chateu as it is bordered by a very busy main road, a railway siding, and a petrol station, but views of the small lake are very nice.

Biggest negative was the state of the mattress which I have photographed (see photo), I hope the stain was coffee. Check when you arrive?

However, the place has excellent staff and nothing is too much trouble for them, we \"ate in\" on the first night and the food and wine were excellent.

Best Hotel of our trip

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We had to write some final papers there so we didn't leave the hotel for more than 1.7 days. The restaurant in this hotels is awesome! All guests receive a 15% discount and the food is one of the best you will find in Prague. When we were done with the paper at 11:30pm, we were extremely hungry and I went downstairs to get a sandwich and some ice-cream. The kitchen was closed and the chef was almost leaving the hotel. He went back to the kitchen prepared his best sandwich and got me some top quality fruits and cognac ice-cream with a marvelous presentation. Awesome.

The rooms are quiet, clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant is excellent. The buffet breakfast is extensive, varied, and very good. The only drawback for some people may be its location because it is not near the center of Prague. However, the hotel provides guests with one free taxi ride to the center for each day you are a guest in the hotel. It is easy to get a tram and a bus back to the hotel. It is definitely worth it to stay at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau St Havel. The facility is an older chateau that has been renovated and modernized. The grounds of the hotel itself are lovely, with the terrace off the restaurant and bar overlooking a lovely back lawn and gardens. The staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful in all respects. The property is a bit out of town, but they provide a voucher for an inbound cab ride to Wenceslas Square, and everything is easily accessible from there either by subway or tram or bus or on foot. Getting back was easy and inexpensive by subway and bus. The staff gave perfect directions for the return trip. Last -- but not least -- the included breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Although it locates slightly far from the city center, it is a really nice hotel. You can save the time to check the time table from the central to Prague-Krc station which is really a very small station.
The restaurant is perfect and its breakfast is brilliant. Also, their welling center is good. It is a romantic place to enjoy Prague with a rest.

Nice and cozy hotel with great outdoor gardens (the golf lawns). Fine restaurant menu, which was very tasty as well. The staff was polite and nice, they tried to respond to every our question. If in Prague by car - it's a good place to stay. A nice thing is the free taxi to downtown once a day.

Very nice country home in Prague. Enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast and different specialty coffee - lattes, cappachino, etc. My kids enjoyed running on the extensive gardens. Bed and room was very enjoyable.

Only downside was finding the hotel. Note that the direction given by the hotel website is wrong and you will not find the hotel if that is all you have.

Very Nice

Hotel staff was really nice, the beds were comfy, although the sheets were too short. Besides that and the a/c leaking everything was in great shape. The hotel is quiet, very close to the E50, although a little bit far from town. We took a shuttle in, so it was perfect. Would love to stay there again, it was very beautiful. Outdoor parking, but the parking lot seems a lot safer than most we saw while in Prague.

For that little bit of luxury

We loved this hotel. We knew it was out of town but as we had a car, we had to find a hotel which could park at easily and cheaply (free here). The breakfast was fabulous and even the other meals were reasonably priced (and very nice). The breakfasts were not your typical buffet style, the meal was freshly cooked for you from a good selection. We also loved the free transfer to the city and catching the train home was good and not too hard.

We stayed at Chateau St. Havel attracted by its architecture, but we were surprised by the outstanding service and attention. People in reception were extremely useful and even helped us to buy our airlines tickets. They gave a lot of them to help us. Althoug the hotel is not in the central attractions it is very calm and quiet and very close to subway station.
Food is top class.
We would come back with no doubt.

L’hôtel est charmant, mais un peu mal situé par rapport à l’autoroute.

Pour la 3ème fois, je suis revenu avec mon épouse dans cet hôtel.
Les 2 premières fois, nous avons fortement apprécié notre séjour.
Lors de cette dernière réservation au mois d'août, nous avons connu plusieurs soucis:
1 => En rentrant le soir, nous avons trouvé nos fenêtres ouvertes et une température de 37°C dans la chambre.
La climatisation ne fonctionnant pas, nous avons reçu un ventilateur... qui a remué de l'air à 37°C !!!
2 => Avant de réserver, nous avions demandé s'il était possible de consigner des vivres à placer au frigo et la réponse avait été positive.
Ainsi, au moment de récupérer ces vivres, le frigo portable était rempli d'eau (les aliments étant compromis pour une valeur de 156 €) et les blocs eutectiques avaient été placés dans un frigo et non dans un congélateur.
Au moment du départ, tout en nous demandant de régler la taxes de séjour (12 €), la seule réponse obtenue suite à ces problèmes a été \"We're sorry !\"

Genomresa med 1dag inne i Prag.

Det där med golf, var lite missvisande. Men inget som drar ner upplevelsen. Vi kom ner i hällande spöregn, såg inget av omgivningen dvs parken. Dock helt otroligt att denna lilla oas ligger där den ligger ljudet av trafiken var inget vi störde oss på, då vi alltid sover med hörselproppar.
Mysigt ställe, fantastiskt rum med sköna sängar + för det exklusiva sänglinne. Vi åt en god 4-rätters middag samma kväll. Värt varenda krona.
Andra dagen tog vi taxi in till stan, det var inget för oss.
Men rekomenderar stället, om man är på genomresa och vill sova gott.
Frukosten får också väl godkänt.

Der Aufenthalt mit Hund ist kein Problem.Auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der Gäste wird Wert gelegt. Direkt am Hotel ist ein Park,wo man mit dem Hund sehr schon spazieren kann. Einziges Minus,Parkplatzsituation aufgrund der zahlreichen Gäste wie Hochzeiten, leckere Küche und Goldfclub schwierig.

Hezký hotel, blízko rychlostní komunikace a s parkováním zdarma. Velmi dobrá kuchyně a příjemný personál. Je hezké snídat s výhledem na golfové hřiště.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Das Hotel war wie beschrieben. Das Bad war etwas klein aber völlig ausreichend. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Durch die S-Bahn Station fast vor der Tür ist man sehr schnell im Prager Zentrum.

Tolles Hotel am Rand von der Innenstadt.

Das Hotel ist einwandfrei. Leider liegt es etwas abseits und kann nur öffentlich oder mit dem Taxi von der Innenstadt aus erreicht werden. Außerdem fehlt eine gemütliche Bar. Für einen Drink sitzt man zwischen den Essensgästen. Aber ansonsten ist alles top. Frühstücksbuffet ist klasse.

性價比高的一夜

古典美，房間保養得宜，服務很好，早餐和餐廳晚飯無與倫比。

要改善的是，退房後幾天，我們再往酒店餐廳回味，竟說從沒有幾天吃過的晚餐，被迫點了雙倍價格的晚餐，有點摸不著頭腦。

Gastronomie gut und anspruchsvoll, Bad sehr klein,

Das Zimmer ist ok, wenn auch klein. Das Bad (WC, Waschbecken und Duschwanne) hat eine sehr kleine Größe von ca. 1,5 m². Der Lüfter ist sehr laut.....
Die Lage des Hotels zwischen Autobahnen, Tankstelle und Bahnlinie führt zu erheblichem Umgebungslärm, bei geschlossenen Fenstern jedoch erträglich.
Dafür ist die Gastronomie gut und anspruchsvoll.

veramente una piacevole esperienza...il ristorante ed i camerieri molto professionali...nel centro benessere ampia scelta di massaggi e personale qualificato... nei momenti liberi la possibilità di fare una passeggiata nel parco o giocare a golf rende questo hotel eccellente
