La Palais Hotel Prague is a beautiful hotel outside of the tourist center. When we first entered the room, it was yellow and full of light, we felt very comfortable. The whole hotel is elegant. The breakfast was very good. We needed to take public transportation to reach the historical center and it was easy.

A beautiful hotel perfectly located in the sought after vinohrady area of Prague. Lovely restaurants nearby that aren’t all geared up for tourists. The historic number 23 tram into the city is only metres away from the front door.

We are regulars here. The property is in a great location and the breakfast is wonderful. My only complaints are the AC is really bad in the summer. Luckily it was cool at night so we could open the windows. We also never received a room upgrade. My flight over was delayed 24 hours due to mechanical issues and they refused to do anything about crediting me for my room eventhough they had plenty of time and rebooked it to another guest.

Ground floor and reception are beautiful. It does have a library area. This would have been a real luxury hotel or palace in the past, and much of the ground floor and terrace are still grand. The room was very good too, with plenty of storage. Staff was friendly. I asked for an iron and it was delivered promptly to my room. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner during my stay, but i enjoyed walking towards the central town and finding local restaurants. This hotel is relatively far from the tourist areas, in that it's not bang in the middle of the old town. However, it was very affordable. I can image this being much more expensive if the rooms were updated (they are still very good though). Overall i rate high my experience.

Fantastic Christmas Destination

We stayed at Le Palais over the Christmas holidays and were not disappointed! The hotel is lively yet quiet, very friendly and festive atmosphere. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We accidentally checked out too late and they were very understanding about it. The breakfast is tasty and the location is fantastic! A quiet, hidden corner with lots of walkable destinations. We hope to be back again :)

This was a great place to stay in a very pleasant and peaceful neighbourhood of Prague. That's not to say there aren't some great bars and places to eat nearby (there are plenty!) - the area just had a special vibe that you wouldn't get if you were staying right in the centre of the city. The hotel itself was great - the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful (a special thanks goes to Petr who came to my rescue when my safe refused to open on the morning of checkout!). I stayed in a room located in the 'roof' of the hotel, which was spacious yet cosy. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely look at returning to this hotel on my next visit.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at! We were provided the Tower Suite and the views of the city were beautiful. Breakfast was delightful and we ate in the courtyard. Front desk staff took care of us right away. I could not ask for a better experience. This is the only hotel I’m considering whenever in Prague. Everything was so clean as well. Definitely recommend it

Awesome value for the money

Great hotel with free parking which is a luxury of itself in Prague. This is my 5th stay in Prague and this hotel is now my first choice in the city. Trams 23 & 11 are one and three blocks away, which will place you in Stare Mesto or Mala Strana in 10 minutes. The area is super safe (next to a police precinct) and the street, a cul de sac, makes it very quiet.

Customer service was very good. Location was an approximate 30 mins walk to old town. It was so quiet. Breakfast had a wide range of choice. Only negative would be that the cooked breakfast which was a buffet style was cold every morning. I didn’t mention to waitress to make her aware that I was not sure the heaters were working on the second morning of our three night stay however the breakfast was still cold on our 3rd morning. However nice hotel would still recommend.

I stayed for nine nights. I’m a gold rewards member and didn’t get a room upgrade, but the regular room was fine. I liked the view of the city from my fourth floor room. The room was clean. I like have the nespresso machine in the room. The breakfast was excellent and one of the main reasons that I booked this hotel. The hotel is not central to the old town but it’s easy enough to walk to the national museum and that area of the city. You can catch the tram (route number 6 is the one we took most often) to the old town area and that was from the nearby station. Checkin and out was quick and easy.

Absolutely beautiful historic hotel in quiet neighborhood (in need of some updates). The staff were very friendly and eager to make us comfortable. The facilities during summer made that task impossible. The AC system is more of a central fan system as the air does not come out cold/refrigerated. The room was consistently hot which made sleeping rough. The bed in our first room was in rough shape, a spring mattress that dipped in the center. The bed in the 2nd room was in much better, adequate, shape. Parking and pet fees at Le Palais Art Hotel Prague are the highest we saw in Prague. If you know your way around the city as well as how to use the public transportation system, the outside-of-the-grind location would not be a problem.

We had a really lovely stay in the Palais Art Hotel. The room was beautiful and comfortable with under floor heating in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice and the spa and gym are compact. The location is great with a tram stop just outside and an easy walk to the centre and old town.

Not really 5*, and not really a spa.

It falls short of 5* in many ways: powdered milk, no robes, no fresh juice, rooms very dated and a little shabby... nothing to ruin a stay but enough to make you wonder how they got this rating. For the first 24hrs of our stay we couldn’t access our room without a porter as the keys didn’t work, despite every time we returned being told they would. Having to wait for a working key to be made, go up, find out it didn’t, come back down and then wait for an available porter... again didn’t ruin the stay but became quite irritating.

And the Spa really isn’t; or at least wasn’t for our stay. The Jacuzzi doesn’t work- and will not be for a year or so- and the steam room was not working either for our visit, which left only the Sauna. Even this has restricted opening times and a booking system, so you cannot just turn up and use it. This is not mentioned anywhere. We were also left standing for an age in the cold corridor shared with the garage waiting for someone to open the door.
With the notable exception of an argumentative manager- who insisted the steam room was working despite us having just been in it to witness the opposite, and adamant we should have known that the jacuzzi was out of operation, there would be no staff in the spa, and that there are restricted hours/ booking system in place- the rest of the staff are lovely.
The common areas are also beautiful.

Great location in a quite neighborhood with mediocre repeative breakfast. The staff was nice and the swedish massage in the spa downstairs was GRADE A! Good water pressure on the top floor (4th).

The bar selection was good with Bullet Bourbon right in front.

If only the breakfast wasn't the same everyday (soggy bacon, runny eggs and baked beans with a random pot sticker \"asian corner\") then this place would be awesome. The best breakfast item was the yogurt, chia, and strawberry jam.

This hotel is in an amazing location out of the madness of the city yet just a half hour scenic walk to it. Filled with neighbourhood restaurants and cafes and the trams are also conveniently located. Great breakfast with an attentive and friendly staff. The room was nicely outfitted, there is the gym and also a pretty good sauna! Which was really nice after a long day and night of sightseeing and walking just before hitting the bed.

This hotel is so beautiful! Set in a quiet corner of one of my favorite neighborhoods of Prague - Right in the middle of the action - easy to get to center and all around - but far enough that it’s not noisy at night. The rooms are gorgeous - with huge bathtub and spectate glass shower. Luxurious!

The entrance and main hallway are a nice welcome.
An enforced tip after getting to the room is slightly over the top.. Ais conditioning was useless, and as a very warm weekend, sleeping in a warm room wasn't the most enjoyable.
The lift didn't work so enforced to carry bags down stairs from the 3rd floor - A simple view, to call the room and see if they could be carried would show good service when a basic hotel amenity of a lift is out of use.
Breakfast was uninspiring in presentation and mostly left open to the air / flies, with one pastry having a fly pretty much settled in with it's own room created around the filling..
Meats and cheeses again covered in flies.

The hotel was nice! The fridge in our room didn’t work. We called, they came, didn’t get fixed, when we called again they said, “ it’s fixed”, it wasn’t, but they didn’t attempt to fix it. Not really what I expected to hear. Be very careful with booking a car service through the hotel. We booked a car service to be picked up at the train station with the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we expected to pay 15€ we came to find out it was 40€. The Manager was no where to be found, emails have not been answered. Just be careful. Other than the that, the breakfast is great, the staff very attentive, and great view.

We stayed for two weeks and were given an upgrade for free to a beautiful and peaceful suite. We got to know the staff well and found them to always be helpful and pleasant to deal with. With the exception of the housekeepers, most staff were fluent in English.The breakfast was first class and set us up for the day. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk to the metro/trams. We would definitely stay there again.

We travelled to Prague for a theatre production and this hotal proved to be a perfect base. This area of Prague is quite Bohemian so there are lots of lovely restuarants, cafes and bars. The hotel itself is full of quite amazing art works. A hotel and gallery combined. Breakfast on the terrace is also a delight.

Elegant boutique style hotel located in a very quiet residential area within 10-12 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square. This was the most quiet hotel room in our experience and coming from the USA it helped us sleep soundly and adjust to the time change.
Staff is friendly, helpful, professional, and spoke English.
Full buffet breakfast included in rate. This included poached, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries, fresh fruits, cereals, granolas, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, yogurts, assortment of vegan options, smoked salmon and more.
Recommend dinner in their Artista restaurant where the food and service were exceptional.

It is a beautifully decorated hotel and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. It is also very clean, the room and bathroom were spotless with nice amenities. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a huge selection, the best I’ve ever had. The only thing that could be a problem is a very deep tub that is slippery and hard to get in and out of, so if this could be a problem for someone they should ask about just a shower.

MY room wasn't a 5 star standard though and was somewhat lacking . If you've stayed in a true 5 star you'll quickly spot the difference. Yes I know i sound like a middle class snob but i was just disappointing.

The staff were ok . One member was outstanding (the gentleman who serves guests outside at breakfast) so a special mention to him.

Classy hotel about 30 minutes from the main attractions. Hotel was very clean. Classic in style with lots of art spread around the hotel. Staff were very helpful with a special mentions to Mirak the barman and Thereza for her assistance prior to our visit. Breakfast choice was good and the terrace in the sunshine an added bonus. Had a good massage and used the other spa facilities. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

I travel a lot for business so I am familiar with the standards to expect from 4 and 5 *hotels . Room service / housekeeping do not believe when telephoned there were shortages and did nothing which meant a trip to reception and further arguments before
Someone had to come and look to see for themselves we were telling the truth .
Ordered a taxi from hotel for airport when leaving . Overpriced not on meter didn’t have enough change to give us and left us at the wrong terminal .Attitude aggressive. Hotel on commission ? Water in room only free on first night .
Air con in room poor and so room to hot at night as Prague was 34 c . This is not a 5 star property/ service . Also to far from centre to be convenient . Not close to Metro and not on main tram route .

Excellent hotel and great value for money

Excellent facilities and food (including breakfast). It’s a little far out from the main city centre but it’s brilliant value and offers first-rate facilities

A lovely hotel in a lovely city. We stayed a a junior sweet that was beautiful and spacious. One thing though, the A/C in the room was not working well. We were there in a heat wave.
All in all it will be my hotel in Prague
