Nice budget hotel but definitely not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was average and we went to Coffee Factory diagonally opposite which was really good for breakfast.
It’s clean and convenient hotel with a good shower. Staff are very friendly

The room was cute and pretty spacious for a hotel in Europe. My only complaint is the AC was actually blowing out heat and the only window to open was a window-door, and we were on the first floor. So safety reasons, we had to keep the window shut during the night and while we out of the room during the day. Other than that though, it was in Prague 2 which is quiet and away from tourists. This area has all of the restaurants the locals go to and the food is really good. It is about a 20min walk to get to the touristy sites in Prague 1.

Staffs are helpful. Clean suits. breakfast is delicious. The downside of this hotel is to still use traditional room keys, instead of key card; the room soundproofing was not great. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel to stay.

Location is quite convenient for the price (20 min walk to central Prague) and staff was helpful with all queries. However, we had a room on the 5th floor that was a converted attic, so the bathroom and bedroom were on separate floors which was a little inconvenient. Being an attic it also meant we had to be careful about not banging our head (lesson we learnt after a few painful times…) The AC also didn’t work and it got quite hot being so high up, it was bearable most days but expect this would be an issue in the summer. The lady at reception said these are only active in summer, however with days being 20-25 degrees already this is an issue in my opinion. It also doesn’t make sense it only works in summer.

A very nice hotel with a great location walking distance from the city center and vers close to the C metro line I.P. Pavlova and the main road getting in and out of Prague by car.
The staff was very nice and the breakfast was really outstanding with a lot of options as well as milk alternatives. The patio was super nice for breakfast, for me mich nicer than the windowless breakfast room in the cellar.
I would suggest more maintenance of the room which seemed a bit run down (dirty carpet, proper deep cleaning of the bathroom, missing button on the shower fixture), and be sure to bring your earplugs if you use the powerfull but loud air conditioner, but all in all it was a great stay for a great value!

We were greeted by friendly receptionists when we checked in. They gave us a double room on the 4th floor where stayed for 1 night. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and there was a bathtub - nice. When we kept the room windows closed, we almost couldn't hear the traffic in front of the hotel. We could, however, easily hear other hotel guests. That was annoying. What was also annoying was the very poor WiFi signal in our room. The hotel management must fix this because travellers simply need good WiFi connection. We didn't eat at the hotel. Therefore, we cannot evaluate the restaurant and breakfast. Overall, this is a decent 4-star hotel, but we wouldn't book it again because of the weak WiFi connection and noise inside the hotel.

Cons: advertises a lobby bar...where?!? What you actually got was reception with a minibar fridge. If you are planning a few relaxing drinks in the hotel, this isnt the place.

Hotel is centrally located, very cosy and modern, with very comfortable beds. Rooms are spacious and clear. Breakfast is relatively poor (and coffee is terrible), but kitchen staff is helpful and very supportive.

On arrival this hotel seems lovely - the exterior of the building is grand just like most of Prague, and the reception lobby is also. We had an attic room, 503. It was divided into an upstairs and downstairs, with our en-suite and wardrobe on entry downstairs and bed and TV upstairs in the slanted-roofed attic. We stayed for three nights.
Firstly, the bathroom light had no switch (minor detail) but this led to the humming of the air vent in the bathroom constantly. The hot side of the tap was cold, the cold side hot. First use = ow.
Secondly, the 'wardrobe' was simply a black rail with 6 ikea hangers, and inconventiently placed downstairs. Largely used as a coat rail.
Most significantly, the carpet needed replacing, the walls were grubby (including a handprint mark on the wall behind/above the headboard...) and an old food stain on our clean white sheets.
Also an inconvenience was the lack of mirror upstairs, so makeup had to be done downstairs with no natural light, in a steamed up bathroom mirror.
No drawers upstairs, instead we put our clothes in a TV-unit cupboard.
Regarding the hotel breakfast, we ate on the first night and there was a fair amount of choice, however both suffered upset stomachs all day following this. Cannot be said that it was definitely the hotel food, however we avoided breakfast for our two remaining days and both were fine.

overall, good price and location and comfortable bed, but its downfall is its awkward arrangement and grubby finish.

It is near everything minutes from metro and 24 hours stores and restaurant and the square max 10 min walk and safe to walk in middle of the night for solo travelers. staff always happy to help and anwser questions and maids do a awesome job at not coming in at the wrong time i get up late cause i party late so they knew to come clean my room after 2 pm while i was gone eating . breakfast i only went one was good all you need to start the day and room as everything good to mattresse and Ac and wifi was good. I will stay here next time i comeback Prague is the best city in the world.

The Hotel Noir exceeded all our expectations. We were in 301 and the room was spacious with a fantastic wet room and separate toilet. The breakfast was simple but enjoyable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location for metro and local sights. For the budget we were on this hotel is the best value we have ever stayed. Highly recommend.

Superb hotel in a great location

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolute delight when we arrived. The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are HUGE, the bathrooms are wonderful, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. We had safe parking within the hotel courtyard, this was 20€ for 24 hours.
You are within walking distance of the trams and trains. And you can walk to the main area of Prague. There are great restaurants and shops nearby for food.
Breakfast was included and was great. Hot and cold breakfast with a great variety.
We will definitely stay here again.

I cannot fault this hotel. The room was comfortable. The neighbourhood was great; it was quiet but not isolated. Free breakfast was a plus, and it's a pity I had only utilised it once. I would personally come back again.

Great spot on the main strip!

Excellent location; within walking distance of many of Prague's attractions and the center of the nightlife! They did charge 18 euro for parking under the building in an almost impossible spot and they tried to charge for breakfast. The room and bathroom were nice though!

Well the hotel noir was occupied by myself and faye harris from the 24th to the 28th october 2015. Wonderful hotel the noir staff are great be sure to try the wonderful sweets in reception the carnacious continental breakfast every morning and the sensational shower which will have you marvelling at how the water drains. The location is great so close to a music bar and also only ten mins from wenseslaus square as well. So the hotel noir was a great base for us and for you i think it will be great too!!!!!

Great hotel, great price.

This was our second stay, we will be back! Great location, very nice and cozy hotel, big room. This time we got a room on 1st floor, it was large of size with separate toilet and sink on one side, bathroom with tub and sink on the other side. Only few minutes walking to nice restaurants and a bit further to Wenceslaw Square. Already looking forward to our trip in December!

Hotel Noir Needs Some \"Sunshine\"!

The \"pluses\" were: comfortable bed and great breakfast.
Our room #504 desperately needed a paint job and new carpeting. I did not want to walk on the carpet barefoot. The shower needed to be redesigned. We had to do a contortion act to use the shower without flooding the floor.
The neighborhood felt questionable after dark. Fortunately, we were only a few blocks from the metro station (C-line). The location did give us the opportunity to use the metro quite a bit. Great metro lines. The 5th floor carpeting was loaded with spots - new carpet recommended.

nice hotel and its a 10 min walk to city centre

this was a well organised hotel staff were brilliant and always helpful nothing was to much to ask from them. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as the price per room was excellent and no hidden extras very well secure and staff were always at the desk right through the night in case you need anything. There is also a very good quality safe in your room and you can even put your own security code in.I will defiantly be staying there again. Also its only a short walk to the main city. Well done to everyone at the hotel.ps forgot to say how good the breakfast was.

Great location, just a few minute walk from Wenceslav Square. Hotel room was spotless and big, bathroom of a good size with sink outside the bathroom sliding door. Hotel staff friendly but could use a little more info and try to go an extra mile.. Breakfast was good and fresh, the area was of a small size but never seen it get too full. To note: the elevator was obviously built during renovation of the historic building of the hotel.. It goes to mid-floor only.. Still have to climb stairs to get to the room - found this a bit of a challenge traveling with infant and a lot of luggage.. Otherwise amazing stay and highly recommended!

Great Modern Hotel

The interiors of the hotel is modern and sleek. the room is so spacious. It's within a quiet area, a little bit away from the tourist area but also not far from it. You can walk like 10-15 mins to Wenceslao Square or take the subway IP Pavlova to the city center it takes 5 minutes for you to reach the subway station. The breakfast was amazing. Staff are helpful on finding some tours and giving directions. However, it would be better if the front desk can understand well in English. The price of the hotel is way cheap considering it's modern fixtures. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

We stayed in the superior room for 5 nights on the 5th floor attic, facing the garden side. The room is clean and spacious.

The downside, there is no shower curtain inside the bathroom. I need to towel around to around getting a flood in the bathroom.

The map from hotel has tram lines in there. I found it helpful and better than maps from the guidebook.

Great find

This is a great boutique-style hotel tucked away on the quieter side of Prague. Only ten minutes walk to Wenceslas square and less than one minute walk to the nearest metro. Clean hotel, comfortable and great value for money. There's also a minimarket nearby.
Room came with breakfast which included continental and cooked choices.
Staff are very friendly and were relaxed. Free wifi included.
I stayed with a friend and we both enjoyed our stay here. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel noir.

The staff was nice and the location is great, 100m from the metro and 1 change from the centre.
Breakfast was ok, a big variety; cereals, yoghurt, fruits, beans, bread, etc..
The room design was very nice but had some problems:
We were on the first floor and the windows were very thin and at 7am, with a huge traffic jam passing in front of the hotel, will wake you up.
Also, the first time I went to bed, the sheets and pillow had a lot of unknown hairs! It really grossed me out!

I found this hotel on hotels.com and took a chance, and boy am I glad! It was an old, renovated building that had modern conveniences but retained some of the old world charm like exposed brick and classic entry ways. The staff was really helpful and the included continental breakfast was delicious! Definitely stay here if you're visiting Prague!

This is a poorly managed hotel with inadequate service. We had two rooms during a heat wave. My adult daughter's room had broken air conditioning making her room absolutely unbearable for sleep. It was only after she broke down crying was another room \"available\". It's a cutely decorated hotel but is not dependable for proper service. There should be a hotel booklet outlining features of the room and area. Never again!

The hotel overall is good and great price to stay especially the included breakfast. The design of hotel is modern, comfort and tidy. However, the room I stayed was wifi unreachable. I had to go out the corridor for short connection. And as a so called 4-stars standard, the room service cleaning was not really caring like forgot to replace/refill necessities or just left the used to me that they provided which was out of an international 4-stars hotel standard.

Being in Prague for 4 days with NO luggage became less of a nightmare, THANKS to the great hotel staff at the Noir Hotel. They went out of their way to make us feel good and followed up with the airlines on our behalf, without us asking them to do so. The breakfast was SUPERB and the room very comfortable and clean. They managed very well to maintain the OLD architecture of the bldg facade while also providing MODERN comfortable and spacious rooms. We strongly recommend this hotel for any visitor to Praga, great deal for your $$$.

love the location!

near to museums. convenience store just beside hotel that opens till 11pm. 4 mins walk to metro station (take the first left exit within the station). 1 min from hotel, restaurant & bar (Legenda - Beefeater) serves excellent food. i was allocated to the top floor and in my room, there's 2 levels. perfect for young people because climbing stairs is not an issue and it separates sleeping area from shower & toilet. However, my air-con wasn't working. They tried to fix but to no avail. Since weather wasn't that warm, I did not request to change rooms although the staff did offer me. They also allowed me for a slightly later check out. slight dissatisfaction with water pressure and TV quality (cause it's supposed to be 4 stars). other than that, really enjoyed my stay.

A nice small hotel with modern design. Room is clean and no funny smell. And is larger than I thought. The location is good too, tram line 22 brings you to the center tourism area in 15 minutes.

Cute and convenient

We recently stayed at Hotel Noir for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by the friendly staff in English and provided a map of the city to help us navigate. The location of the hotel was a short walk to metro and trams, just outside of the popular tourist sites. We liked this because it was nice to get away from the crowds and see another area of the city. The neighborhood had good restaurants nearby and a small convenience store next door. The breakfast included with our stay was impressive and delicious. It consisted of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, breads, meat, cheese, yogurt, and hot items. The room was large and comfortable, we enjoyed the large shower and towel warmer. The street was a little noisy with traffic, but with the double windows closed it muffled the noise enough to get a good night rest. The only disappointing event was the housekeeping staff changed our bed linens only once during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Prague in the near future.

Great hotel

This hotel is great! Our room was comfortable and looked pretty good, had air conditioning and double window panes which blocked out noise from the street (we had a view to Legerova street). Complimentary breakfast was nice. Hotel staff Are pleasant and helpful. There is a metro station just down the street (I.P Pavlova). The hotel allows to store your bags in a side room if there is a time window between checkout and your flight. Overall- greatly recommended, I would definitely stay there again.

Different by design

Very good stay at the Hotel NOIR. The rooms are well designed, and furnished. However, the air con seemed to struggle a little, so it was hotter than ideal. As the hotel is on a main road, there is some traffic noise to contend with. Overall I would recommend the hotel as it has a nice designer feel and the staff are helpful.

EXcellent place top stay

Not knowing what to expect we were very happy with the high quality front desk service, well spoken English from all reception staff, attentive room service and quality breakfast offerings. Good speed on the internet was also available.

Coffe available but only in downstairs sared room with request from staff for sachets.

While 2 km from the old town the sub way is only 400m away and very cheap to use.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. the location is goog - just 15 minuts walk from Vaslavak square and further to the center. Near by the hotel are some restoraurants and the metro station ( red line). Liked the interior and rooms very much.
Staff is helpful, breakfast is ok, but the same everyday. There\"s mini fridge, teapot in the room.
Hotel is situated on the Legerova st - which is very noisy on the morning and at night ( lot of transport) - if u are with children - ask a room with garden view.

Otel çok guzel, odalar temizdi. Her sey istediğimiz gibiydi. Sadece 2 şey hakkinda yorum yapabilirim; biz giriş katinda 002 numarali odada kaldık ve oraya asansorden geldigini düşündüğümüz bir ses geliyordu sürekli, uykudan uyandırdı diyebilirim. Bir de oda soguktu ve havalandirmadan da su akiyor gibi ses geliyordu. Bunlar olmasa 5 puanlik otel bizce.
