Good, quiet location within easy access to the centre. Quick and easy check-in and checkout. Rooms were spacious and clean, and as described. Heard little to no noise from surroundings and the heating worked well to warm the place up and dry the towels through the day.
Breakfast included in the price offering a range of cereals, breads, hot foods and drinks.
Housekeeping came daily however the replenishment of towels and tea/coffee needs to be more regular as none of ours were replaced in a 4 day stay. Hotel was accommodating on a double bed request however the sheets were too small and not for a double bed so kept moving loosely. Bed was comfortable enough, just a bit of a creaky frame.

It's the third time we stayed at this hotel and overall we really like it.Location is somewhat far from the nearest station but we're ok with that. It was the service and the attitude we received this time that surprised and disappointed us.I will skip the inconvenience upon arrival that forced us to change rooms twice within 12 hours.... Upon entering the 3rd room that was convenient (more or less) we noticed that both the mini bar and the phone are not working. I went down again to reception (phone not working..remember...) informed , and was promised it will be taken care. 24 hours later when asking again I was told that this is a mini bar and it's designed only for chilling and not for cooling... Now, it so happens that I spent the last 40 years in the refrigeration and cooling industry so I'm more than capable to know if the mini bar is cooling or not and this one was definitely NOT!!.
No harm done, it's only a mini bar and as said the overall hotel is quite nice and comfortable. We concluded our 5 nights stay and moved to a new hotel in town where the mini bar is working.
The telephone if you wandered was not fixed as well.
I just hope someone in the hotel will read this and do something about it.

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is not far from the city center (a bus stop just 5 minutes walk around the corner). Very happy with everything. A room ( we had a classic double) was beautiful: stylish, clean, spacious enough for 2 with a little balcony. The hotel is located in an old building with the thick walls which I found beneficial because we didn't hear our neighbours at all. Housekeeping service was daily and very good. Breakfast (buffet) was repetitive but tasty: everybody can find something for themselves . The only thing that I found different to the UK hotels was that you have to pay extra if you want to leave your luggage after check out for another few hours at the reception. Overall it was a very good experience . I would definitely come back again.

They had several pictures that I thought were pictures of the hotel but I didn’t see any of them when I was there the beds are really hard and the location from hotel to downtown was misleading I thought I was booked right downtown but it was pretty far over a 30 min walk.

I was really impressed with the size of my room it's bigger than my bedroom at home as was the bathroom. The decor is a little dated but it was in keeping with the rest of the hotel. It is however clean, well looked after and comfortable with all of the facilities you'd expect.
The staff were both friendly and helpful, the receptionist even printed off my boarding passes for me. The only downside was the taxi I booked through the hotel for my transfer back to the airport turned up late. The driver did however reduce the fare as compensation and did his best to make up the time. Luckily it didn't have any impact on me getting my flight.
There is a restaurant shared with the Amigo Hotel next door although I only used it for breakfast. Breakfast was the usual fare of hot and cold food, teas, coffees, juices etc.
The location is good. There are a number of restaurants and bars on the same street and there's a metro station less than 10 minutes walk away.
Prague isn't short on hotels but if I came back I would consider staying here again.

I rated this hotel very LOW because this hotel charges instant coffee and tea in the room. In hundreds of hotels i have stayed, coffee and tea were always complimentary and no hotel charges tea and coffee in the room. I exchanged my complaint through several emails and a phone call. The hotel said it is in the registration card and never reversed the charge. So every guest be aware this hotel charges instant tea and coffee in the room 2 euros per bag.

The room I was in didn't have a window, but it did have skylights. Don't bother watching TV if you don't speak Czech, channels were in and out. Breakfast buffet cost $12.00 +, but I really enjoyed it and ate there every morning! Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were very nice and bathrooms were big, no tub though. Matress was a very firm foam and I thought I would have a problem, but I slept very well and it ended up being rather comfortable. $3.00 Uber ride to shopping street, and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I will stay there again next time I'm in Prague.

Great hotel in a great location. I have stayed here twice. The rooms are a bit small where the furniture interferes with each other such as the desk chair can't be pulled out completely because there's 12 inches of space between the chair and the wardrobe.

i Stayed in the room for a few hours while waiting for my flight back to the US so I can rest and sleep. The room is small, very outdated, but it served its purpose. A good walking distance to the metro.

Great, cosy accommodation & value for money
My partner & I loved the interior decor of the room; it was a mixture of artistic blend inspired by Euro-Asian roots. The room was very comfortable, clean, and luxurious even, for the price this was a dream! The location was great - about 20-25 min walk into Old Town, 5-10 min by public transport. ATMs / supermarkets available close by, hence no need to fret about getting some snacks if you're hungry!
I would have given a 4-5 stars, but the 3 stars (I was considering a 2) have resulted from just one issue: the £50 deposit (i.e. 1,500 Czech Koruna) I had to pay at check-in. This was never brought to my attention and it is dishonest to be made to pay money at a hotel without having to review the terms & conditions. The lady at reception went puzzled when I asked to review a contract for payment, saying \"I have never heard this before, no one has ever asked!\", which was a very dishonest answer. I paid the money and was only provided a \"pre-authorisation\" receipt - no written terms, no conditions, unclear what it was for (I later found out they used this to sneakily charge customers EUR2 / 3 for small packs of coffee / tea in the room!). Not very nice. I paid the £50 deposit on 27 Dec 2017 - checked out on 01 Jan 2018 - it is 06 Jan 2018 today and I haven't been repaid. Now I have no contract to fall back on.

The room was comfortable and the staff members were very helpful. The hotel is not particularly close to the old town area but that was not a problem because the hotel is 6-7 mins walk away from a major station with trams, metro and buses. Public transport is easy in Prague and we enjoyed staying at a less crowded area.

It was a one-night stay on our way back to Singapore. We enjoyed ourselves with the Czech hospitality. The hotel was located near the city and restaurants/eating places and the tourist information office. We would wish to stay again when we pass through Prague the next time.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staffs were nice. But the hotel policies are awful, charging for tea and coffee in the room and high price breakfast. The internet is also awfully slow. They share with their sister facility next door (Amigo). I would avoid this hotel if you need to do work while there.

This hotel was a great find. The location is great , it's only 20 minutes walk from New Town and 35 minutes or so from the Old a Town. There is also a subway station 5 or so minutes away.
The room was large, a lobby , bedroom and bathroom. The bed really comfy, allowed me to sleep in!
The breakfast I never sampled as it was about 250Kr , it's cheaper to go to the shop a few minutes walk away, they sell lovely pastries.
Just one thing to be cautious of. I wasn't told of the charge on coffee provided in the room. I had my fill and was charged 300Kr on checking out. I'd have bought coffee at the shop for a fraction of the cost. I wasn't told of this charge on checking in , but when I signed the form on entry , it was mentioned in there, so read the form !

As said in the title, the hotel is a bit of a walk from Old Town and particularly from Prague Castle, which was a bit tiring at the end of a long day. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, spacious and very affordable. Staff were a bit terse at times but provided all service necessary. We didn't try the breakfast, as it was a bit expensive for Czech pricing standards (330CZK pp).

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great value for money. The room was a good size with a large bed, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with a powerful shower. The centre is just 15 minutes walk away or you can get the tube which is about 5 minutes walk down the road. The tea and coffee in the room is not complimentary but this is stated on the sheet that you have to sign when you arrive, although we are both coffee drinkers and it would be nice to have a free cup of coffee, this did not effect our stay at the Alqush. A great stay and would definitely recommend it.

When we got here, we were put in Amigo hotel instead of Alqush and it was rather confusing why they did that. Seems like Alqush and Amigo, however are two different names, could be the same hotel. But we saw two different entrance to these two. Never mind. Once we got here, after a 7 min walk from the railway station, we were quite disappointed to learn that our safe box wasn't working. We did ask the reception to fix it but they didn't until the last day. We stayed here for 4 nights. The housekeeping didn't do a great job at cleaning the room and that was another disappointment. What was strange was that this hotel also charged for the in-room coffee and tea which normally is free at any other hotel. The breakfast was average for the price they charged. We ate there only once! The front desk attendant was rather snooty and wasn't of any help. I wouldn't go back here.

Our stay at the hotel was very good. But when we were checking out, the staff was really rude. When we said, we didn't take anything from mini bar, he seemed to be very staggered, and ask us more than three times, \"really?!\", and let the room service checked twice whether we have taken anything. Afterwards, he asked us for the adaptor we borrowed from the reception, but we didn't borrow anything! We came from Germany, how on earth did we need an adaptor?! other than this, the hotel is really nice, gut location, and the hotel gave us a coupon from a local restaurant, it was very nice.

Wonderful Hotel - superb service
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alqush. The service was exceptional and friendly, in particular the concierge staff and the waitresses at breakfast. The quality of the room was first class and was maintained at that level. Our only small regrets were the lack of a BBC channel, the lack of a bar/lounge at the hotel - and it is a little far out from the city centre although we always walked into the city. However we would not hesitate to use the Alqush again. We have already recommended the hotel to a friend

The room is a good size, and the bed comphy. It took around half an hour to walk to the main square, but there were plenty of places to eat near by that were more reasonably priced in my opinion. The only draw back for this hotel is that they charge for the coffee in the room and the breakfast wasn't great - but it was free so can't really complain! Would stay here again.

Excellent staff on arrival gave all information to do with hotel and answered questions I had about location and where to eat in the locality of hotel, although did not give recommendations as food is a matter for the individual.
Room was extremely spacious and found it to be a perfect hotel for a romantic get away, couldn't fault it for cleanliness or staff.
Hotel is perfectly situated to get around the city,20 minutes furthest walk to most of the places you want to see and closer still to others.
This is not a flat city and would recommend comfortable walking shoes or trainers, some of the footpaths and streets are cobbled so high heels are not a good idea although I did see a few ladies in heels the number was small.
In summary, would totally recommend this hotel and plan to return myself.

This is a very nice and clean hotel the staff as polite and nothing is to much of a problem the rooms have every thing you need for how long you are in them you do have to pay for the tea and coffee in your room , there is also a hair dyer in the room safe which is free , a mini bar you have to pay a deposit which you will get back if you don't use any of it , the beds are firm and the pillows I wanted to take home with me just what you need after a day of walking ,it is a good 20 min walk down hill , or a 10 min walk if taking the tram ,breakfast you have plenty to choice from Prague is a fab city and the hotel do have maps to help you out and they will make down place you want to go to help you .

Overall everything was ok except for the breakfast room which was absolutely small (hotel Alquish and Amigo have the same little room for breakfast). I was very disappointed at checkout - guy at the recepcion desk told me to wait. He called someone on the phone to check my room. What a bad bad attitude from **** star hotel.

Great hotel, the room was even better than the pictures suggest. Breakfast was very good. excellent location especially for the price, walkable to oldtown and very close the metro and tram. Staff were great especially Míla! The Only negative is there is no satellite TV so while there are TVs in the rooms, if you don't speak german or czech you are out of luck.

Cannot really fault this hotel, only five rooms on each floor with an escalator. Rooms were very spacious, well kept and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful with brilliant English.
