Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was large and bed was comfy. Just need new pillows. My room was generally clean upon my arrival. Just a few bits of dust collection around the bed. My only issue was that I left my room service card on the door to let the cleaners know my room needed new towels and toiletries and tea bags. But in my three days there they did not come. I didn’t inform the reception or staff as they were also busy greeting new customers. Overall a lovely place to stay and I would recommend others to stay and I will be staying again

Great! Beautiful hotel, room was very clean and larger than I was expecting. Staff was very friendly and easy to interact with. The hotel includes breakfast which was delicious. Really enjoyed my stay :)

The hotel was ok for the price i paid (£135 single room for 3 nights ).Breakfast was extra and it was 12 euros (£10.70) each morning which i thought was a little bit expensive. My biggest complaint about the hotel would be the wifi or lack of it. I stayed on the second floor and the signal was pathetic.

Staff very helpful, cleaners kept room tidy and clean , room alway restocked with tea/ coffee and towls were replaced every day.Hotel in easy reach of Prague main sqare and shopping street and Public transport stations within easy reach.lots of bars and restaurants surrounding the property and a mini market 2 minutes away for essential items or the odd beer.

Breakfast is 12euro per person, yet there is no real food, just eggs and slices of ham and toast. It would be better to find a restaurant that does breakfast. During the breakfast the waiters and waitresses awkwardly stare at you while you go up to take food and while you're eating. Very uncomfortable.

Stayed here for two nights after leaving our previous dwelling early. Lovely guy at reception put us in a lovely room that had an upstairs and downstairs. Excellent value for money. Only negative would be to provide milk sachets for the tea/coffee and provide an extra pillow as the ones provided were very flat. Would stay here again as despite Prague 1 being our preference it wasn’t too long of a walk into the centre and the public transport links are close by.

Great hotel

Lovely clean hotel, room decent size. Although sotuated outside the city centre, its such a short walk from the metro if you want to use that or can walk to the new town directly. Breakfast was ok. Would have liked a kettle in the room but managed without. We were on 3rd floor which was fine exceot right beside hospital so often heard sirens in emergency but I woukd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is situated in a walking distance to the Prague old town (about 10-15min). It is clean , the standard double room is spacious enough and there is a mini bar.

The hotel is outside of the main tourist areas but still within walking distance (around 30 minutes to Charles Bridge). I booked the Junior suite, there were no views as the windows were in the sloped roof but both could be opened/closed electronically with the blinds also operated that way. Since the blinds were fitted inside the windows, they blocked off light very well when closed. The room had seen some wear - damage to the wardrobe doors, and scratches/marks on the floor but it was serviceable and clean. Plenty of places to eat or drink within a 10 minute walk. Good value for money.

Cost cutting efforts showing

I believe that the shower is unusually small and difficult to maneuver within this corner unit without bumping the hot water pipe or unintentionally adjusting the water temperature, either of which has unpleasant consequences. The cost cutting measures are quite obvious, leaving only one towel and one pillow in the room and not replacing bathroom soap and shampoo. I also did not receive proper hotels.com credit for the stay as I booked two rooms for three days which entitled me to six credit stays. The breakfast also showed signs of cost cutting, the coffee was changed and it tastes like asphalt (roofing tar), it was awful. I have stayed here three times before and this might be the last.

Hot nights in Prague

when we checked in, two rooms, one on floor 3 and one on two. The air conditioning system was not operative on those floors. There was air conditioning on some of the floors but noting was said and we were not advised of any options. The property is wonderful and I have stayed there before with no issues, in the winter. It was sweltering with warm nights and no air movement, even with the windows open. They should have said something at check-in. Otherwise it is a good property with wonderful breakfast

First impressions of Prague.

The front desk staff (Jane) was very helpful and kind. The kitchen staff was efficient and kept the dining area clean. My only regret was the 2nd day we had to leave without breakfast as it didn’t start until 7:30 and we had to leave by 7am to catch the metro.

A very good hotel for a reasonable price. Very clean and it was warm. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast. I emailed as my daughter has a dairy allergy and they had soya milk for her. Do take a travel kettle and some herbal teas/hot chocolate like I did though as no kettle. We had a delay at the airport as the pushchair didn't arrive and the taxi we arranged through the hotel waited for us and it was the agreed fixed price. The pushchair was delivered later to the hotel. A convenient location near to Wenslas square. Charles square is very near and peaceful without all the tourists. The botanic gardens are nearby. On Jenca road you can get the number 22 tram to the river and it goes up to the castle area with great views. Or you can walk to the river from the hotel in about 20 minutes. Our flight back was in the evening and they have a left luggage room at the hotel for free.

Situated on a relatively quiet street, away from the rowdy crowds. Nicely decorated, not just the lobby, but also hallways, with paintings, sculptures, and plants, etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms are slightly smaller than other comparable hotels. It'd be nicer to have USB charging port available if the management intends to lead the pack, rather than catching up.

Our trip was great. quarter mile to metro and buses. It is located centrally and able to walk all over the city. Food OK. Day receptionist and staff were great but the night male receptionist preferred not to stop his long conversation and laughs with some guests I assume, while we waited until we gave up and went to bed. The next night when he saw us he ignored us. Well the same went for us.

Nice hotel. Reception staff unwelcoming and not very friendly. Very nice breakfast including breakfast staff. Excellent value for money. Only problem was the WiFi, it doesn’t work. I queried this at reception and I was told it was because the room I was in wasn’t near enough to the middle of the building, so would I like to move rooms. You cannot advertise free WiFi for all rooms when you know this is false, annoying. My stay was fine apart from that

Fantastic holiday

I thought my stay in Assenzio was fantastic! It's a 10 minute walk from New Town, with a number of restaurants and pubs in between. The staff are helpful and available 24 hours a day. I had booked a one double bed room, and they gave me a huge 3-bed family room to myself, I double checked if this was correct at reception and it was! Felt really special seeing as I was there for my birthday. The breakfast was also great every morning. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and would lean towards staying here again if I were to visit the same area in Prague.

Hi Hotel was okay for a weekend. We found the breakfast nice with a good variety. My only issue was the room, I booked a junior suite and just had two bedrooms, I was expecting somewhere to site and work at my leisure. Furthermore the air conditioning requires a huge overhaul as it does not work at the room was so very stuffy at night.

Assenzio hotel is a 10-15min walk from the centre of Prague. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. There is a small bar in the hotel with a mini bar in the room. Overall an enjoyable stay

Excellent service! The location is a bit distance from the sights; since Prague is a very walkable city, it is worth to walk around and staying in such decent hotel. Anyway, There's a tram stop about 3 mins walk from the hotel. some pubs, restaurants and a supermarket just 5 mins walk away. Also a mini market just on the side! Not to mention the breakfast! There was a lot of selection and all delicious! I like walking and solo travel. I really enjoy the stay.

The hotel is rated as 4 star but would say it is more like a 3 star. Our room was quite small but very clean. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in room which for a 4 star hotel should be standard. There was also no extra towels in bathroom to use as hand towels. The breakfast was good but the same thing each day. Unfortunately this hotel is near the local hospital so was very noisy throughout the night/early morning with ambulance sirens. Probably would not stay here again as quite a way out of town.

A pleasant hotel 20 minutes walk to the old town.

- Poor wifi. Couldn't stream even at 144p and wifi connection unstable at times. Minibar takes up 90% of the space in the fridge. There was sewage smell coming from the bathroom, bed and pillows were not that comfortable.

Nice hotel with wonderful staff

Wonderful staff greeted us upon entering. Clean rooms. Very reasonable walking distance to city center or even shorter distance to IP Pavlova metro station. My husband enjoyed the breakfast selection (bread, meat, cheese, egg, pastries, etc). The only problem that we ran into was other guests were incredibly loud and kept us up. Specifically teenagers screaming and running around late into the night while we tried to sleep. Otherwise, was a perfect stay and would highly recommend.

We had two studio's which although the upstairs/downstairs layout was ideal for teenage children sharing, the lack of windows other than skylights was claustrophobic. Some maintenance was needed eg bathroom door lock didn't work in one, thermostat didn't work in one and the paintwork was quite shabby in one of the studio's. Neither downstairs tv worked and there were limited channels working on the upstairs tv of one of the studio's. No tea or coffee making facilities which for the price of the rooms was unusual. Breakfast choices were quite limited although the basics were there. Rooms were very hot and we had to leave the skylights open to cool them down. Good position for walking to all major sights although some of the walks were lengthy. We enjoyed our trip but compared to other hotels that we have stayted in we didn't feel it was quite the 4 star standard that we had paid for.

Comfortable Hotel - Room 114

Stayed for weekend break with teenage daughter: overall I would stay here again.

Pros - very close to IP Pavlova Metro Station, 20 minutes walk to Old Town which is a pleasant walk, stayed in room 114 at the back, nice clean room. No noise. Value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons - each morning there was a sewage smell that came into the room from either the bathroom or heating vents that lasted about 30 mins. Lobby always smelled of cigarette smoke but didn't see anyone smoking in hotel but I think you'll get this everywhere in Prague. Two wall lights didn't work but as we were only there for the weekend I didn't get them looked at.

I was quite disappointed because the room I was given didn't match the description. Other than a decent bathroom and three aisles there was just a bed, a built-in closet and a very small table without a chair (with no space for it) in the room. The hotel is located in a nice old building with high ceilings so the extremely small room with very high walls looked weird. Definitely not 15m2, maybe 15m3 due to the ceiling.
The room was on sidewalk level so the curtains had to be closed otherwise there would be no privacy.
The room and the bathroom were completely refurbished and there was provided a rich complementary buffet breakfast so if someone gets a better room they may feel much more convenient.

good hotel but not happy with distruption

The hotel room was very nice and modern, it was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was set in a good location and wasn't too far from the old town and attractions. The hotel staff didn't really seem to want to help us when we said that there was work going on and it was disrupting us and also when we said we were cold, it took three attempts for them to do something. Overall good hotel but would ask to change room if work is going on as it woke us up at 8 sometimes 7 every morning and would go on all day. We had no apologies from staff we were just simply to deal with it.

We had a very good rate (came to about £45 per night for a week, queen bed, for 2 people); v. good en-suite with bidet as well as bath and shower , comfortable bed - we slept well. The price included an excellent buffet breakfast, with plenty of hot as well as cold options. One or two school groups (teenagers from Germany and very well behaved); several different nationalities among the guests, including Russian, Czech, Australian, British, German - everyone was well-catered for. Good mixture of ages too.

Nice hotel in ther heart of Prague

The hotel is really nice and the staff is helpfull. Although the hotel is not in the city center, it is located not too far from the metro.

Well placed for the Congress Centre

I was there for three days at a conference and wanted to stay at a reasonably priced hotel. This is on a main road but double glazed and quiet. Easy 10 min walk to the Congress Centre and close to the city (15 min) and Metro (5 min)Safe and easy to find at night. Good breakfast included.
