Wouldn’t stay again.

Arrived at the Hotel after flying from the west coast of the US and lo and behold they oversold the property and have no room for me! The rebooked me at a sister location which was not were I wanted to be in the City and not the “Vibe” of the original property. I would avoid this hotel and the chain as they care more about revenue than your comfort and business.

Property locates on a quiet street but easy to get to and have good restaurants nearby. Guest rooms are nicely furnished and maintained. All looks fairly new. Spacious living / bed rooms, and ample closet and draw space. Breakfast is continental style but adequate. Staffs are friendly and efficient. We arrived early in the morning and we're able to check in which is very nice.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, the games room was a nice addition. Bed was relatively comfortable and the deluxe suite was a good size. The laundry room and sauna were great and unexpected additions.

However, the photos on the website were a little misleading. The room decor needs some modernising: there were stains on the sofa, ceramic chips in the bathroom and an old stereo. Plus while we appreciated a fitness room, there was only 1 running and a basic weight machine.

It was a nice stay in a quiet area with lovely staff, just a few more updates would give this hotel 5 stars from us.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mamaison Residence Belgicka, it was close and within walking distance to just about everything including public transport. The apartment is huge and the bed is super comfortable and has all amenities. The staff are really nice and I like the fact it had a laundry, gym, sauna and pool table room. I really enjoyed myself and I felt very comfortable and safe. Highly recommend.

We loved our suite. It was very nice, clean and quiet. AC worked great. Kitchenette has more than you will ever need on a short trip. Great free laundry facility. 7 min walk to nearest tram that will take you straight to Old Town. Mini markets and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

Hotel is great for business trips. Very spacious and located close to two Tram hubs, multiple dining options, mini-marts, and attractions. The room was larger than I expected as the cost was so little.

One thing I would recommend to make the experience better would to put coffee pods in the room instead of charging for them in the lobby.

Family suite was generous size and very clean with a usuable kitchenette. Separate main bedroom was a bonus. Coffee and tea facilities in the room would have been handy to save going to reception. Breakfast was nice although bread was allocated to each table. Couldn't get coffee machine to work! Reception staff were polite and helpful. The location is great, only few minutes walk to tourist areas and surrounded y cafes, markets and restaurants. Cobblestone road is noisy with traffic but windows are double glazed

Hotel is easy to get to from airport as it is close to the green metro line stop. Area was very quiet and lovely with beautiful old buildings and nice affordable restaurants and cafes better than most in tourist areas. Apartment was spacious even for our studio great for two people. A couple of downsides, the soundproofing was non existent between apartments on the same floor, whenever someone next door leaves or comes back or people speak in the corridor you could really hear it. Also not flexible with providing late checkout 2pm even though we checked in very late four days before at 1030pm. The fridge didn't work for us so if you want to buy things for the kitchen please check first! Pillow may not suit most people it doesn't have any support, I got used to them after two nights.

Perfect apartment hotel!

We stayed here for two weeks. It was the perfect place. It was like having your own apt but with the benefits of a hotel. Clean comfortable accommodations with full kitchen with dishwasher located in a great neighborhood. Super close to trams and subway entrance - by church. Housekeeping twice a week included in price where linens & towels are changed. Safe in room, washers and dryers available free of charge. Away from tourists but still close to tourist sites. Staff printed boarding passes for us and answered any questions we had. Check in and check out was easy & fast. Bed was comfortable, we slept like babies! Definitely will go back and stay here again.

Great Place To Stay

Prague, great city. Beautiful. The Mamaison Residence Hotel was GREAT! My wife and I had a one bedroom apartment with kitchen, stove, utensils, pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, dining table, living room with flatscreen TV, DVD player, bathtub, comfortable king bed, coded safe for valuables, and free washer/dryer facility, pool table, small fitness center, and sauna in the basement. Detergent can be purchased from reception for .50 cents per load. DVD's can be rented for about $4/night.
The staff are great. Really helpful. Very polite. They speak English very well. Very accommodating. They can arrange taxi service for you at the regular rate. From the cleaning people to the reception staff to management, these folks were wonderful.
The area around the Mamaison is residential. There are grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and pubs all around the hotel. The Havana restaurant was very inexpensive and delicious. Matylda's Restaurant was wonderful. Best duck, red sauerkraut, and dumplings we've ever had. At only $11 a plate too.
Subway station, like the restaurants, was about a 5 minute walk away. Tourist sites are 2 or 3 subway stops away.
The area was quiet except for Friday night. The pub around the corner had some loud people at closing time. Yet, no so loud as to be much of a nuisance.
If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, safe place to relax in Prague, do yourself a favor and stay here. It's a great place.

Large, airy and well-situated apartment in Prague

Our family of four stayed at MaMaison for five nights in August 2016 and we were more than pleased with the accommodations and amenities provided by this apartment hotel and the neighbourhood (Prague 2, Vinohrady). The area is very safe and comfortable, it is near the subway and a short walk to Wenceslas square. We completely enjoyed our time at MaMaison and in Prague. We definitely recommend this wonderful area and this apartment hotel. The staff was also very helpful and even ordered pizza for us, called taxis and offered good recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.

A comfortable stay.

The location is off the tourist zone which is a huge plus for us. An easy walk to the metro and you have access to most touristic destinations. Close to the hotel you will find nice restaurants priced for the local community . A few blocks away, you will find a Billa supermarket which comes handy. We did not eat at the hotel, so no comments.

Overall, good experience and a nice room. We travelled as three adults and the room we had was very comfortable. I recommend it for those who prefer to stay away from the city Center.

It was a struggle to get our bags up the stairs, a ramp would be helpful. Very ordinary decor, however the bed was comfortable. Could only see the Tv if you sat up in bed. The kitchen had very basic supplies but was adequate. The laundry area was a great bonus as we needed to wash and dry clothes. There is an iron and ironing board. We provided our own breakfast and cooked one meal. This Hotel is a very long walk for all the main sights and the old centre, however, down the road you can catch a tram which runs regularly. There are a few nice stair ants in the area. The staff at reception were wonderful, friendly and helpful at all times.

Malmaison Residence Belgicka was perfect for us - two travelers in Prague for a family visit 3rd time. Apartment was spotless, staff very helpful, studio was bigger than expected with full kitchen, sofa and comfy bed. Great location, easy trams/metro about 2 blocks away, center of tourist area only 12-15 minutes by tram. Nice 25 minute walk too for energetic types! Would not hesitate to recommend. We did not try breakfast. Plenty of good restaurants and pubs very close to hotel.

Great hotel, nice rooms and very convenient location 2 blocks away from the tram and metro stations. Hotel is located at residential neighborhood so is very quite specially during weekdays. There is a pub in front of the main door that during weekends there are lot of people that could do some noise, but nothing cannot be handled.
Walking during late night or even very early in the morning is safe.

Great Apartment Hotel ideally placed for exploring

I stayed here for a long weekend. The staff are brilliant, really helpful and freindly - nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself it really clean and well appointed. Sometimes when you see images of the rooms online or in a brochure you are disappointed when you get there as the actual room is nothing like, well not here - what you see is what you get, and its been done really well. I opted for the Business Suite and wasn't disappointed in any way. Comfortable living area /kitchen, seperate bedroom and bathrooms, all with more than enough space and really well presented.

The hotel is in a queiter area rather smack bang in the city centre, but it is literally a 5 minute walk to the metro/tram station and from there one stop on the metro into the city centre - a 10 minute journey at the most. The metro line nearby runs to all the major tourist spots, so wherever you intend to start exploring from you will be able to get there without any issue.

There is also an abundance of bars, cafes and restaurants within minutes walk of the hotel; you will never be stuck for finding somewhere to eat, or just grab quick drink whilst watching the world go by.

Perfect Hotel! Two big rooms, with Sofa, Big bed room, massive bed (Most comfortable bed me and my gf Ever slept in.) Dinner table, Kitchen, bathroom And toilet And all that for this Price!! Everything clean, nice And very friendly Service!! Great Location. Perfectly Quite. A few Bars around, next Underground Station 5 minutes walking, Parking spaces (20€/Night) available. Only pity the breakfast was not included and small maybe in hot summer problem will be there is no climatisation on the room. Stayed here for a night in the middle of our Czech Republic/Germany/Austria trip simply so we could do laundry and it ended up being one of the better places we stayed. Tons of floor space, complete kitchenette, nice sitting area, and a better price than most tiny places in the area! Having paid parking was great- and of course, washer and dryer! (Not a drying rack, but an actual electric tumble dryer! Not an easy thing to find in these parts!) Just remember that if you use the dryer, you have to empty out the water from the collection chamber or your clothes won't dry. We forgot and laundry ended up taking quite a bit longer than expected.

Huge suites--I was shocked. Great location near Charles Square (ended up being my favorite neighborhood to walk around--old town is a bit overwhelming with the tourists etc.). Loved this place--only feedback is to bring dish soap and a sponge if you plan to cook.

This was my second time to visit this hotel. Both times I have been extremely happy with the service and comfort of the hotel. The staff is professional and goes out of its way to be helpful. The rooms are large, modern and clean and have useful kitchens. Within a couple of blocks of public transportation and surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, this hotel has worked out perfectly for both of my visits to Prague.

Only negative is that there is no air conditioning and when we visited in September the building heat wasn't yet turned on. We opened the windows for fresh air at night but there was no way to take off the chill in the morning.

The hotel is in the good location. Rooms are spacious and clean. However, the bed feels very outdated and worn out. The television is old and small. You can not watch tv while in bed. The young lady at the front desk didn't smile at all.

My wife's new favourite hotel

What can I say? We are a family of 4 with 2 small children and this hotel was perfect for us. A room for us, a room for the children, a nice living area and a kitchenette. This is the way we will preferably travel from now on. My wife is a difficult customer and this is now her favourite hotel. I will struggle to find hotels ticking as many boxes for us as this one in the future at a good price.

Included a kitchenette. Bed was comfortable. Good shower. Probably a 25 minute walk to the main attractions but there is plenty to see in the way. Staff pleasant and spoke English quite well.

Hard to fault

Mamaison Residence Belgicka looks excellent on its website and delivers in almost every respect. It is very well appointed with helpful friendly staff and it is an ideal location for people who want to be slightly removed from the heart of the city but with easy access to it. My only minor criticisms are that one of the four rooms I was allocated was not as large as had been confirmed on the booking and that my room at least did not have the bathrobes mentioned. However neither point detracted from a great stay.

Only positive experiences in this excellent hotel

Very clean from top to bottom. Looks like it's had a recent and thorough makeover: Modern, very tasteful decor in rooms and common areas. Fitness room and laundry a plus. WiFi in room. Excellent kitchen facilities as part of one-bedroom setup. Safe neighborhood... @5' walk to Metro, good \"neighborhood\" restaurants nearby. Superb staff-- very customer friendly and helpful. Staff spoke and comprehended English extremely well... and didn't laugh too much at my attempts to communicate in Czech. We did not have a single bad experience during our stay.

Great location and lovely accommodation

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (number 30) with our two children on the living room sofa bed but the apartment was very big so it never felt at all crowded. It was modern and nicely furnished, it was clean and warm (it was February) and we thought it was great. There was free wifi , a dvd player for the kids in evening and a great pool table in the basement which my son loved. We didn't use the decent gym and the whole building was very quiet. There were lots of restaurants within 5 to 10 mins walk and a very useful metro stop about 10mins walk away. The staff were helpful and this accommodation helped us to have a great short trip in a lovely city. Very, very happy with this lovely hotel.

A wonderful, relaxing apartment in Prague.

We would be happy to stay here again any time. This hotel is quiet, clean, and the staff work very hard to please the guests. There were a few times when the front desk staff spoke so little English and unfortunately knew so little about the question that we asked, their answers weren't helpful at all. But it really wasn't a big deal to us, as we consider that to be a part of the adventure of travel. Overall, the staff were very, very motivated to make this a really terrific place to stay. One of the things we loved about it is that that it's on a very quiet street, yet we walked into the center of the city within 20 minutes easily. We enjoyed walking around the city so that was just fine with us. There are coffee shops, banks, and small grocery stores within only a few minutes walk.

A warning, not related to the hotel: At the train station, we caught a taxi in the official taxi stand and we were charged TRIPLE what we should have been. When we took a taxi back to the train station a few days later we learned what the correct charge should have been. The city should regulate these taxis better.

Home Away From Home

Mamaison was a perfect place to stay on our recent stay to Praque, the size and quality of the apartments was fantastic-the level of luxury surpassed our expectations. Value for money was incredible, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. It is very conveniently positioned to public transport, and is in a lovely quiet part of town, very easy to walk into old town centre.

Decent place to stay in Prague

They are like mini-apartments - you have a living room, kitchen, bedroom, etc. Definitely nicer than staying in a tiny cramped hotel room, which is pretty much standard in Europe. Only downside is the location is a bit off the beaten path. You're a cab ride away from Old Town, which is where a lot of the nightlife is. But then, it's nice to retire to the quiet suburb after a long night out. All depends on what you're looking for.

Lovely hotel - very clean and spacious

We were immediatley impressed with the overal cleanliness. We found all the staff to be very helpful. The hotel room was extremely large and included a kitchen/dining area. We had no complaints whatsoever and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Great location at a great price

Really happy we chose this hotel. Check in was extremely fast and friendly and even though we were an hour early we were shown straight to our room. We couldn't believe how large and well set out it was. It had everything we needed plus the bonus of being able to use the free laundry on the lower floor was fantastic. Close walk to metro yet set in a very quiet residential location.

Beyond Expectation

We stayed here for 3 nights. Surprisingly great for this price. About 5 minutes walk to subway and tram station. Room is spacious and beds are SUPER COSY! With self-service laundry and drying machine. The food in the restaurant just opposite to the hotel is great too.
