the hotel is iconic.

The gentleman that checked us in was lovely and we are very grateful for the help with getting us a reservation at the restaurant we wanted to try. The surrounding area felt safe but there’s almost nothing you can walk to (but that’s São Paulo in general). Not much vibe in the bar area but good drinks selection.

This was nothing short of a 5 star experience in every way. The check in was so smooth and so easy to communicate with the staff who were ver accommodating in every way. The food was amazing and the spa was beautiful. I spent an entire day there where I was totally pampered and taken care in every way. From ordering me lunch arranging a late check out to be able to stay in the spa all day as well as finding out what time I needed to leave to get the airport and order me a taxi which was waiting for me as soon I finished my last spa treatment. I have never been treated so well by every single staff member. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to the entire staff who helped me with every detail.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I was looking forward to a relaxing stay due to an overnight flight connection. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and a warm welcome. I had a reservation at the rooftop restaurant upon my arrival. I was exhausted and wanted a quick gourmet meal. I stated to the server I was looking to return to my room quickly. My main course took an entire hour to be served. The server never placed the order. The meal was delicious so I chose not to complain. Upon my arrival to my room I found the dinning room chair pulled and a meal served on the table. I was startled. I looked at the meal and it was half eaten. I immediately called downstairs inquiring if somebody was in my room consuming a meal. I was told 1/2 hr later it was a mistake from the kitchen. Once again I let it go. I then wake up early to make certain I eat breakfast at 7am so I can make my connecting international flight. I attempt to use my elevator key. I am unable to press the rooftop. I then ask an employee to let me up to the rooftop. He is unable to press the rooftop. He asks for help. The other employee is unable to press the rooftop. We are then told we should walk up the stairs. The stairs are locked. Finally 1/2 hr later I am let up to the rooftop. Leaving me 10 minutes to eat breakfast. In other words, the beautiful architecture and room design were overshadowed by these horrible experiences. Very disappointing.

Arriving early before check-in, I was immediately taken care of, with the staff ensuring my comfort until my room was ready. They meticulously handled everything, from scheduling my spa appointments to arranging museum tickets and seamless car service. Every encounter with the hotel team was a reminder of their commitment to impeccable service—whether it was the flawless room cleaning, the attention to detail in room service, or the thoughtful gestures like greeting me in the lobby with offerings of water, coffee, or champagne.

Hotel Unique itself is a masterpiece, blending art and architecture in a way that feels like an installation you get to live in. Great Hotel with few things to work on

Fantastic service, great food, great location...I would stay here again.

Few suggestions:

The pool area needs work, we did not find anybody attending or helping us in the locker room. The water was not warm in the pool and we found no towels or chairs to relax in the sauna section - which is necessary after the use of the sauna.

Eco commitment needs to be upgraded: lots of little plastic bottles for water, towels, and sheets were changed every day. As this is nice, I think we can work better on reusing.

I have been staying in UNIQUE for a while now, but now I see it needs an update on the rooms. the floors are very dirty and sticky where there is no way to walk with bare foot.

Unique lives up to its name. It makes for a very memorable experience at a top rate hotel. Its proximity to the park gives the rooms a great view. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. The amenities, including the two pool are top notch. I just wished they had an area to sit comfortably with your laptop. And that they brought back the treats they gave with turndown.

This hotel understands what it takes to set itself apart from the other hotels. 1st class treatment with a sincere approach to everything they do. They look at everything from the big items, to the little issues which sum a great experience in every way possible.

A special acknowledgment to Mr. Luis Campos from Guest relations and to everyone else at this hotel. They went out of there way to ensure my wife and I had an incredible experience.

This has to be one of the, if not the best, hotel in the area. COVID has greatly impacted many businesses in Sao Paulo, and it is my hope Hotel Unique stay strong, as they are a worthile group. Stay strong!!

The hotel definitely lives up to its name. I was upgraded to the Rodeo Suite because I came early and they had space. I’m from America so I’m used to being quite spoiled when it comes to customer service. Even with that, I can honestly say that I received excellent customer service. The bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop was Alive and amazing even during Covid. The food at the rooftop restaurant was 5 stars. It’s definitely makes the São Paolo experience. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a high quality hotel.

Wonderful architecture. Hotel is a little bit dated, probably time for some renovation.

The upstairs pool was filthy — a thick coat of sunscreen on it. We only used the downstairs.

Possibly the best hotel experience of my life!

So I was planning a business trip to Sao Paolo, and I was asking my advisor which hotel I should stay, he unequivocally said The Unique. HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This was the best hotel experience I have ever had, hands down!

The amazing experience started with the concierges. Both of them, especially Sergio and I emailed back and forth in regards to transportation and reservations for dinners. Spectacular choices by the way.

When I arrived at GRU, the driver was waiting for me right after customs and transferred me, painlessly, to the hotel. I arrived late, 130am or so, and already had me checked in. So easy...

When I got into my room, there was a very nice note and chocolate waiting for me from Sergio. Also, there was a wonderful lime macaroon waiting.

The room was very nice. A huge round window with a autocontrolled wall to black it out. Wonderful clean room, nice products on the mini bar, and an ultra-comfy bed.

The restaurant and bar on the roof of The Unique, Skye, is awesome. Fantastic atmosphere, good service. At night, it is a great spot.

The property and restaurant are definitely on point, but what made my experience at The Unique, the service. Sergio, Samuel, the door guys/valets, and the rest of the staff were so warm and friendly. It felt like coming to a home away from home from start to finish.

I will be only staying at The Unique from now on whenever I come to Sao Paolo!

Wonderful stay!

The staff, the rooms, the pool, the gym...were fantastic...every night I looked forward to the little dessert waiting in my room.
Sad note... I left a special head piece by the sauna and got lost..it was nowhere to be found...reported but was not found.

The perfect hotel.

The hotel was perfect. This as the best hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The building itself is a true work of art, but what really makes the hotel perfect is the staff. Both concierges were very helpful particularly Samuel who spent lots of time helping us plan our days in the city. The view from the roof is the best view in the city and the food isn’t bad either!

Amazing hotel; dull area of SP

This is one of the most amazing properties I've ever stayed in, both in terms of style and service. The hotel rises above the neighborhood like a watermelon on stilts. The lobby is a wonder to behold, 10 meters of marble, glass, and concrete. The pool on the roof is lined with red Bizzaza tile and a perfect view of the buildings on Av. Paulista. The rooms have 2 m porthole windows, and the baths would make a Roman Emperor weep. Comfy beds, perfect linens, 1m sq pillows. Veuve Cliquot while you check in. Fabulous drinks and dining, and wonderful breakfast. The staff is wonderful and friendly without being too much. I particularly adored the hostess in the restaurant, with the wild curly mane. After eating there once she greeted me by first name, on sight, two days later. You will feel more pampered than ever, and have no interest in leaving.

Which is good, because it sits in the middle of a community of walled, gated mini-estates, and if you want to do anything you need to get in an Uber (go for black, it's cheap in SP) and go somewhere interesting.

I decided to just stay and enjoy!

Also, if you have a late flight out of SP, you can get a half day rate and stay until 8:00 pm, which makes life oh so much nicer.

Great stay, beautiful hotel, check in was excellent. The room was comfortable even though we found it to be a bit small and tight layout, too much focus on design/décor and less on practicality..

While the front office was excellent in welcoming us and getting us settled, the service in the restaurant/bar was unequal. The waitrons seem distracted or focussed on other things.

Beautiful hotel, great location, great service. The pool is stunning.. in red tiles, with gorgeous views... but once you get in it you see it is just filled with particles like the water has not been filtered in a long time... very very visible particles... .so it’s best for photo ops.

Fantasic hotel; wifi could be better

The unique is truly a remarkable hotel - the facilities are stunning and the staff first-rate. My only complaint is with the wifi: i was able to load some emails, but apps would not refresh and many webpages would not open. Glad I wasn't working on this trip!
