The breakfast had a good selection of local breakfast items. The staff also reached out to offer us a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel for a reasonable price. It was nice after our 8 hour long haul flight to get off and know we did not have to worry on how to get to the hotel. We also were able to get the same taxi to the train station which was not far away but was worth the cost due to our luggage.

The hotel was also near public transportation and some great restaurants. We recommend The Pet Re which is right across the street which had an amazing seafood risotto along with U Houmra which was less than a 10 minute walk but offered traditional comfort foods. There we would recommend the potato dumplings if they are on their dinner special for the night.

The hotel was pretty clean overall, but there was lots of hair in the bathroom and shower when we checked in. Luckily, the housekeeper was still in and came to clean it all for us. They staff were very apologetic but it really should have been properly cleaned and checked before we checked in.

Wow, this hotel is a hidden gem! Awesome neighborhood with lots of restaurant choices. What we found to be really special was that the Anna Hotel is just two blocks away from the 22 Tram line. This is the line that will take you to and through Prague Old Town and to the Castle grounds.

If when we return to Prague, we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel was amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone considering going to Prague! The room had everything you needed (multiple towels, body wash, TV, safe, hairdryer, wardrobe etc). The room was absolutely spotless and was cleaned daily. It was a lovely, quiet hotel with many rooms to choose from. I stayed in a Standard Double/Twin room, which was perfect for the size and money I paid through Expedia! The hotel is perfectly situated in Prague (not too close to the town that is was loud and busy, but far enough away that you couldn't hear cars/trams). There is a tram line two roads away which makes easy access to the Old Town if necessary. The hotel is a 30-minute walk to the Old Town, with lovely scenery/restaurants if you don't want to get on the tram. I ordered a taxi service through the hotel, which picked me up from the Prague airport to the hotel and cost me 750 CZK, around £25 for a 30-45 minute drive! The reception was very helpful at answering any questions we had and was able to book anything we wanted to do during our stay. The breakfast buffet was lovely and operated between the hours of 7:30 am - 10:00 am, with a wide selection of food and drinks for everyone!

I definitely recommend to anyone considering this hotel!

This was my 5th time staying at this hotel. It is basic but very reasonably priced. The rooms are a decent size and clean and warm. The beds are comfortable. The showers are good. It is in a nice quiet street with many nice restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by. The metro station is only about a 6 minute walk and in 2 stops you are in the old town, but can easily escape the late night craziness for a quiet area in which to sleep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. For me this is a perfect base in the beautiful Vinohrady area of Prague.

My third stay in the Anna hotel. Vinohrady is my favourite area in Prague. Close enough to the centre but away from the chaos of the old town town and Wenceslas square. Only a short walk to the excellent, cheap and regular Prague metro service. I think the Anna hotel is great value and a perfect location. The hotel is not amazing but gets the basics right and if I’ve ever had a minor issue it’s always been resolved quickly and cheerfully by the excellent staff. I’ve already booked to stay there again.

Lovely gem in Vinorhady

Anna Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel in the charming and affluent neighborhood of Vinorhady. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and quite spacious by European standards. The service was very friendly: they arranged for a taxi to pick me up at the airport, which was nice since I’d never travelled to Prague. It’s a 5 min walk to the metro stop of Námêstí Míru. I would definitely stay there again!

My second stay here. My only gripes would be that the aircon wasn’t very cold and I’d prefer a proper double bed rather than 2 single beds pushed together as, even if I’m sleeping alone I like to sleep in the middle and sprawl out.
The rooms are lovely and spacious and wonderfully light and airy. The area is also lovely and quiet at night so no issues sleeping even with the windows open.
The staff are also lovely and the location is unbeatable. 5 mins walk to the metro which takes you into the old town in about 6 mins but you are staying away from the madness and tourist trapness of the old town, in a lovely real Prague neighbourhood full of wonderful sights, restaurants, bars and shops at sensible prices. The La Boheme Cafe is wonderful and only 2 blocks away. The Lical Italian restaurant is amazing too! Forget the old town and stay in Vinohrady and experience the real glamour and slow paced life of Prague. All in all, very good value for such an amazing location.

It is a great hotel and we had a great experience. it's so close to metro and easy to find. The room was nice and spacious but I would have liked a 2nd chair. Only 1 chair! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, warm, and with variety. Most importantly, it was extremely quiet and I'm a very light sleeper. I would come back to stay here again.

Very comfortable hotel. Ideally positioned to get into the city center by tram or tube. We walked into the city on our first morning of our visit which enabled us to get our bearings quickly (the tourist maps are really good) and discover some of the top sights along the way.
The architecture is stunning everywhere you look and the views from the castle are superb.
We purchased 72 hour transport permits which was worth every penny.
We used it every day on the metro to go to and from the city and on our departure, we used it to go to the airport.

Hotel Anna is in Vinohrady, a quiet residential area within walking distance of the main historic sights of central Prague. We stayed 4 nights - our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sized bathroom, and a generous breakfast buffet included in the room rate. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful, arranging taxis to/from the airport and train station and luggage storage, for example.

Christmas Stay in Prague

We needed a decent hotel near (but not in) the centre of Prague for a short Christmas break visiting family. The Anna fitted the bill and was close enough for our purposes. It's an old \"pension-style\" hotel and was clean, with fairly friendly staff. The breakfast is fairly basic and there are no \"extras\" in the rooms such as tea/coffee facilities so it's fine as a base but you wouldn't choose this for a visit where you expected to spend a lot of time in the hotel itself, apart from sleeping.

Getting to the hotel was a problem as the car i had booked with you was NOT at the airport.

Hotel located in quieter part of town but in very easy reach of local transport.

Second stay here was as good as the first. Staff was awesome - especially the \"breakfast lady\" - she does a great job keeping up with everything. Housekeeping kept things SUPER clean & front desk staff were spot on with info re dining options, transportation, & even help with finding a pharmacy when needed. Tram is one block up; Metro is 2 blocks down: and the most convenient laundromat I've ever been in is right around the corner. Will definitely stay here again when in Prague.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews and was not disappointed. This is a lovely traditional building in a residential area of Prague, not too far away from the main sights. It is well place for transport links. The staff were excellent and spoke good English, they were happy to provide us with a kettle and tea making facilities on request. Our room was a triple which was two single beds pushed together but bed linen was individual so my daughters did not have any problem. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Small shower gels and shampoos were provided in the bathroom which had a built in hair dryer and heated towel rail. The breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold, continental breads and cheeses and cooked eggs and sausages and was taken in a nice conservatory area. Overall a great place and good value.

I stayed in the Hotel Anna two years ago and I'm pleased to recommend it to anyone visiting Prague. The staff is excellent and the breakfast offers a wide variety of good options. I like that the Hotel is outside of the tourist area. This gives visitors a view into the everyday life of Prague. Best of all the u Bulinu Restaurant is just a short two blocks from the hotel. The food at this restaurant is excellent. Overall an excellent visit on all counts.

Enjoyable stay in Art Nouveau building

The Anna hotel is a charming classical hotel in a great area of Prague. Upon arrival we were greeted by a cheerful clerk who spoke excellent English. We had requested a room on the top floor and were given Room 501. A very small but adequate elevator climbed the levels for us. 501 was a nice room, roomy for European standards, with a large bathroom. Everything was very clean; crisp linens on the beds and nice towels. TV had quite a few channels in various languages. The first night the hotel was very quiet but patrons at a tavern across the street were noisy until a downpour of rain sent them away. There was also a bit of traffic and tram noise. The next morning I requested a room on the garden side, away from the street, and we were given room 502 - absolutely the best room in the hotel, in my opinion, as the room offered an incredible view of Prague Castle, Petrin hill, tower and park, and the nearby towers of Ludmilla Cathedral in the foreground. The view was especially beautiful in the evening, with the towers alight. 502 may be the only room in this hotel with this view - I believe the others are blocked by buildings.
Breakfast was served in a delightful glass atrium. Cereals, breads, cakes, toast, yogurt, fruit, meats, cheeses plus juices, tea, coffee.
During our stay the hotel was occupied mainly by middle-age German tourists, though we did meet a very nice American couple from San Francisco. All front desk staff were fluent in English, pleasant and helpful.

Location was away from usual tourist traps but with easy access to trams & metro for convenient transportation to all major areas.

Local Mini markets open late for drinks or a quick bite. Plenty of decent restaurants within blocks of hotel. Even inexpensive salons around the corner for a good mani/pedi...

Value for money hotel in a quiet part of Prague, the hotel was clean , towels changed every day & good breakfast with plenty of choice.rooms at the rear are better for a quiet stay.
For the tram into town , leave the hotel turn right , walk about 100 yards & catch the 22 tram which will take you to most of the popular places to see. Ask in the hotel about tram tickets, they are very cheap.
The hotel reception is closed between 11pm & 7pm so if you arrive between these times let them know before you arrive. Very pleased with our stay , only cost £45/night , you won't be disappointed.

Perfect little hotel for Prague. This is better than a 3-star hotel in my mind. Clean and spacious room and totally updated. The bathroom was also spacious; the shower was fantastic. The air conditioning was awesome, and worked like air conditioning. (Sometimes in Europe their air conditioning is mediocre.) Perhaps the beds could be more comfortable. Bonus that breakfast is included. It is not too far from public transportation, which is really easy in Prague. It's about a mile and a half from old-town, where all the action is, but if you get the transportation pass it's not a problem. The staff is really nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Overnight at Anna without any hassles.

Over night stay in Prague to get myself grounded. The worst part about Anna Hotel is getting from the street up to the checkin desk - stairs, no lift. Breakfast was as expected, room was quiet but bed was not quite so comfortable (mattress was harder than I like.) Only down side really was the price I had to pay for this stay.
