Room was clean but very compact no storage ie wardrobes or drawers. Breakfast was ok was looking forward to having toasted bread but was told toaster was broken and they sent for a new one? Don't know why they had to send for a new one as there was plenty of shops around

Rooms are basic but ideal for what we needed. Modern, clean room and comfortable bed. Heavy curtains blocked out light and there was no noise from outside traffic. About 10 Minute walk to main part of town, lots of shops and cafe/restaurants around immediate area.

Ibis was an excellent choice. The staff were very polite and help. They even let us check-in several hours before the regular time, which was incredibly appreciated after a very long flight.

The hotel is not very close to anything, but the tram and subway stops are easily accessible to get anywhere in the coty easily.

The breakfast was excellent, but a little expensive. While I feel it was well worth the money, having the same options with no differentiation made it only worthwhile for a couple days.

The staff in the hotel were very pleasant & did their best to resolve any query.

Room needing a bit of tlc, the shower tray was very slow at draining away. If you stayed in the shower too long there was a risk of the tray overflowing. Window was very difficult to open.

Very good value for money,10 minute walk from the main railway station,about 15 minutes into the Old Town ,and all the tourist attractions,and a metro stop about 50 metres away ,if you dont feel like walking.The room was small but pleasant ,and well furnished.The daily cleaning was very good ,and tea, coffee were replenished.

Booked a 4 night stay at ibis Praha Wenceslas Square and initially, it was looking like a 1 star review at best.

The room I was given initially (404) was on an unrenovated floor (I only found this out later) and whilst the bedding and bathroom was clean, was terribly dated, did not have a fridge and worst of all, the air conditioning was not functioning.

On the first night, I woke up many times during the night feeling like I was suffocating.

After I complained to the front desk, I was advised that it is set to switch off once the outside air temperature reaches 25 degrees! What the? It is unacceptable that guests cannot control the temperature within their room - we are all different and some prefer cooler sleeping temperatures.

However, I was advised that a technician would inspect it. That didn’t happen and my second night was terrible as well.

I was only moved to another room after complaining for the second time. My new room (311) was on a renovated floor and whilst it did not have a fridge, had functioning air conditioning (thank goodness!), was fresh, modern and very nice.

Based on my stay, where the first half was unbearable, I can only give the hotel 3 stars at best. Once it is fully renovated, I'd rate the hotel 4 stars. However, to be 5 stars, management should seriously consider:
1. The addition of a small fridge, and
2. Providing hand towels and face washers. The provision of a bath towel (only) is not enough.

Decent room, unfriendly staff

The location is close to the city centre and the tram line. The room was clean and comfortable but lacked a fridge, safe, modern TV and a decent hairdryer. The walls are thin and the rooms are connected to others by a locked door which made us uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise from other guests in the corridor which woke us up on occasion as you can fully hear everything.

The reception staff are not friendly or kind. They caused a confusion regarding payment during checkout where they asked for a payment again, when we had already paid at check in. It turned out they simply wanted to give a new reciept as the old one stated the payment was reserved, which we didn't know since it showed on our bank statement. Instead of explaining calmly and kindly they became confrontational and condescending telling us this is common at every hotel so we need to `pay` again during checkout. It was a simple change of receipt they have given us in the end not a request of new payment. This should have been communicated better and I think there was a language barrier here which caused all the confusion. Regardless the staff were rude.

Decent standard Ibis, all the usual comforts, staying only overnight as I've seen plenty of Prague before. You can still pay city tax in cash (50 coruna/night). Reasonable value/comfort and 20 min walk to railway station. Area had a few sketchy shops, often with Russian vendors and some 'adult entertainment' venues down the next street but basically safe and fine. There is supermarket 'Billa' and a few decent bars 10 min walk away.

The Ibis is ideally located all the tourist spots are walkable or you can catch the metro one or two stops.

The staff are friendly and approachable.

The rooms need a major spruce up, really outdated. Clean but looked unclean. The bedding is excellent.

The TV only has basic channels, I only found 3 English channels. No Movies or sports channels

Hotel is easily accessible by Tram 22 which brings you to prague castle. Metro line brings you to Praha hln. A change of metro line at Florenc brings you to old town. Hotel facilities are up to date.

This is a standard ibis so you know what to expect. It’s basic and some areas could be better for example you got 2 medium sized thin large towels but no hand towel. The shower was also showing signs of age ie. Grout dirty but the shower was hot and good flow and what do you expect at this price. Central location and near a metro stop and tram stops to get around. Air conditioning worked fine. Standard ibis double bed.. they are hard but if you have a bad back then you might prefer that. Nothing negative to prevent me staying there again

It was in an area that was easy to walk to all the places to see e.g. Old Town, Charles Bridge and easy to get public transport (tram no.22 to the Prague Castle). Friendly and helpful staff, ask for a map at reception as they do not put it out. Would have liked that they had a kettle for tea and coffee in the room. Have used other Ibis before, would use again.

Great location, small room but does the job

Service was really good. Quick check-in and check out. Went with friends and were split in twin rooms. Gap between the beds was only 10cm because the room is pretty small so can be like you're sleeping with the other person. Shower and toilet were near beds so you could wake the other person up quickly with any sound. Amenities were good, power outlets on both sides of beds, hair dryer, couple of TP rolls. There's Aircon in the room but it doesn't work, it was uncomfortably hot with two people in the room even with window open we struggling to sleep. And this was the same for friends in 3 other rooms.
Breakfast was shockingly bad if you're a veggie, beans but no hash browns. cereal, bread and butter was available if you're there early enough.
Location wasn't too bad, about 15 minutes walk to town center and well located near other restaurants and other shops.

This Ibis has very good location. It is very close to public transportation. Metro red line and 5 other trams are few minutes walk away. Hotel is very clean and quite. Building is newer and up to date. We had a very good stay.

This hotel is not in Wenceslas square as the name suggests in fact it is a good 1.5 km's walk for it to its name sake and a further .75 of a km to the old town sq so unless you are a fairly good walker i would give it a wide berth.

The staff here was nice, one young man Michael was always there and always ready to help. The rooms were basic Ibis rooms, the beds are a comfy mattress pad that has good cushioning and support. The wifi was good, we were able to video chat. Parking was easy and convenient right under the hotel. The location is a bit far from the main spots but there are tram and metro stops close by.

The room was rather small, but hey, you're in Europe, right? Breakfast was included in our rate but not great. It did the trick though. The location is very good. We took the tram to and from major attractions like Charles Bridge, astronomical clock square, etc. mostly the #22 tram. The tram stop was just one block away.
I bet there may be more comfortable hotels but this one was ok for the price.

Confusingly the hotel has a similar address to another IBIS nearby which had a nightmare underground car park we went in by mistake. Ours was basic but spotlessly clean and close to the old town great for sightseeing. Breakfast good no restaurant for evening.

This was a standard city break trip, requiring a standard budget hotel, which was located centrally and close to public transport. As there is plenty to see around the city, the hotel is not the dominating factor just a base.
