property was nice and staff were great. The rooftop pool looks nice for a picture but the whole rooftop sitting area is the size of a bedroom and people are crammed up there like sardines. not relaxing or enjoyable.

I travel extensively and found the hotel a bit pretentious with style more important than substance.

Located a short walk from La Rambla, the Maritime Museum and other sites is redeeming.

The rooms were very modern and the beds were comfy. However, the AC didn’t work as well as we are used to and the room and hallway always smelt musty. There didn’t seem to be ventilation especially in the bathroom and I’m sure that is contributing to the musty smells. We were also not pleased with the location of the hotel as it seems to be in an undesirable location.

This was a nice, clean hotel in a good location. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good with many great choices. The rooftop view/pool was very nice.

It would have been nice to have tissues and face cloths in the rooms. Neither was available. The room was basic, but clean and acceptable.

The buffet breakfast was great, with lots of choice. The outdoor pool was disappointing because it was always crowded, with no place to sit. But I acknowledge that the hotel probably had limited space to deal with in terms of layout. We had a minor medical emergency and the front desk staff very helpful in help us deal with it. The room did not have a refrigerator, so I recommend travellers check on that prior to booking if thats important to you. I should have double check when I booked.

Not a 5-star resort kind of hotel. It's a 3-star boutique hotel. Bad news/good news ...there are no amenities: no little bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, not even a box of tissues. Instead, there are wall-mounted dispensers over the sink and in the shower with liquid soap that is supposed to serve as bath gel, shampoo and hand soap. There are no ice machines (though you can request ice at the front desk and they will go in the back to get some). Technically, there is no door on the bathroom. Instead you close the shower door to get privacy on the toilet or in the shower...but the door is transluscent so you are basically exposed. No bathrooms on the lobby level -- you have to go down to the basement/parking level. The rooftop pool is in a beautiful setting where you get a terrific view of the whole city. But it's so small, it can only accommodate 4 to 5 people standing or 2 swimming. The good news-- wonderful breakfast buffet. Fantastic location -- short walk to La Rambla and the marina/water area. Friendly, accomodating staff.

The hotel location was perfect for our overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a very nice view. We enjoyed the rooftop deck which gave us beautiful views of Barcelona, both during the day and evening. We felt safe and secure in the hotel. The room was quiet.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. They recommended a great place for dinner, provided us an electrical adaptor for our room as well as an iron and ironing board. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The surrounding area was a little questionable, however we felt safe as there was almost always a good police presence. The hotel location was very convenient as we could walk to lots of great places to eat as well as things to see. Breakfast was delicious with lots of great choices. We would recommend this hotel.

The property is near Las Ramblas and easy walking distance to Plaza Real for numerous restaurants and clubs as well as the waterfront and numerous sites. There is police station on the same block, so it is very safe. Pedestrians are everywhere both day and night.

The hotel is clean, but we noticed a constant chemical smell in the hallway from cleaning agents they use. Rooms are simple, but modern and well cared for.

Security cards are necessary for entry into the hotel, the elevator and your room.

They have a rooftop infinity pool, but it was not heated and we had inclement weather, so couldn't use it.

Le service en général était excellent et une belle proximité des lieux populaires tels que la Rambla et les boutiques.
Le point de vue de la piscine au 11eme étage est magnifique !

Ce qui nous a déplu, c’est la belle piscine qui n’était pas chauffée et le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de frigo et de bouteilles d’eau dans les chambres.

Très très bien accueilli malgré que nous sommes arrivé avant 16hrs. Les employés nous ont accueilli en français. Très très propre. Le déjeuner était très bon et vaut vraiment la peine car les restaurants à Barcelone n’ouvre pas avant 8hrs le matin et il y en a peu d’ouvert.la seule petite chose qui nous a manqué est un petit frigo dans notre chambre et des débarbouillettes.

Our stay for 2 days was average. Good location. An average size room, wooden floor, old towels, no facecloths, no glasses, no small fridge. Breakfast was to be included but the property charged 9 Euros each. the floor were wooden (very good) but when walking barefooted, out feet were dirty so they had not been washed for quite awhile, The other issue is why, almost all the times, booking with Expedia, we are given probably the worse room in the building (lower floor, overlooking the parking lot etc,,)

Fantastic city hotel with thoughtful touches like cartons of water by the bed and blankets for watching the sunset on the rooftop! I’d definitely stay here again. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and location was ideal for walking anywhere in the city.

The hotel cost is very expensive and not worth the price. Stay at a hotel along La Rambla instead of here. Homeless are everywhere.
The photos are very deceiving. The hotel room did not have a coffee maker, microwave, or a refrigerator. I wanted to bring water from the breakfast area to the room and they didn't allow it. The walls are black and the hallway lighting is dim. The place seems like a depressing dungeon. For $900 for three nights I thought we were getting luxuries. This hotel is not luxury. It's clean and that's about it. When you take a shower water gets all over the floor because the shower glass is short. Very inconvenient to have to clean up ponding water after a shower. I recommend you stay somewhere else.

A true hidden gem tucked away in the alleys of Las Ramblas. I’m so glad I chose to stay here! The location is incredibly convenient for sightseeing—close to the metro and within walking distance of so many attractions. While the hotel is located in the alleys and they can get dark at night, being right next to a police station made me feel safe most of the time, even when returning to the hotel around midnight almost every day.

I was given a higher floor with a great view, but the rooftop scenery is even more breathtaking—you can actually see the Sagrada Família from up there! The swimming pool was my main reason for booking, though keep in mind the water is quite cold, so it's best enjoyed on warmer days.

The room was spotless, the staff was friendly, and I love that it’s an eco-friendly, plastic-free hotel. One quick tip: the hair dryers tend to shut off if they overheat during long use, but the front desk has replacements available if you need one.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Don't miss Güell Tapas nearby—it was my favorite meal of the trip! Hope this helps!

location is very close to everything . (barcelona doesn't feel safe to walk alone at night but next to hotel there is always police presence so quite good )
was missing some minor emneties (hand cream and tisu paper) but there is a supermarket 30 m away . need to \"forget\" key to leav ventilation on as room will become very stuffie if you don't. we enjoyed the stay and will be very happy to return . must go to the roof to see the view , was working from there and it was perfect.

Hotel has an easy walk to La Rambla where you will find many restaurants and bar. We found that the area around this hotel was a little sketchy which always had a lot of men just hanging out but there was always a fairly strong presence of police in the area. Most the restaurants in the area were either kabob places or Indian restaurants. There are two very well lit streets leading to the tourist area and always had a lot of people on them.

I was disappointed and won’t stay here again. I read reviews before booking, have strongly disagree with the reviews I read, after seeing the property. The hotel is not in a pleasant area, and did not feel safe to me. Just a couple of blocks away, near La Rambla, would have been better. There were many street people hanging around the area, many of them appeared to be homeless.

The hotel was problematic because they use some sort of heavily fragrant cleaning solution everywhere, and the hotel lobby, elevators, and my room, had such a overwhelming smell of cleaning solution that I almost couldn’t breathe. I was there only for one night. If I had planned to be there longer, I definitely would’ve checked out and gone elsewhere, even at the expense of losing my money. The room is very Spartan. They try to promote this degree of starkness by saying they are doing this for the environment. Personally, I think they are doing it to save money. The bed was comfortable, the room were quiet, and I found the reception staff to be very accommodating. The location, the overwhelming smell, any limited amenities they provide in the room will keep me away. One more thing that they did have, that I am pleased with, is that had a working safe in the room.

I really liked the overall hotel, a rooftop pool and a gym is quite nice! The staff were friendly.

However on 2 different occasions there was a small cockroach in the bathroom and then a moth when windows were not opened.

Wasn't a massive fan of the area - it was right next door to a group of sketchy people and police having to be there, so felt a bit unsafe.

We selected this hotel due to its location and for that it gets 5/5 rating. The rooms were clean and well maintained and felt modern but were missing bare and standard hotel necessities such as an electric kettle, tea/coffee, iron and ironing board. We had to request those things individually as needed but there is also no room service so one much pickup the desired items from their front desk. Breakfast looked good but we decided not to eat there. Gym was very dark and needed some dumbbells or resistance machines for more exercise options. Front desk staff were polite and professional. We loved the location and how many things were within walking distance. Their parking garage and rates were also good. Their pictures online make the rooms look way bigger than they actually are but I understand that a city center hotel can be on the smaller and tighter side.

The room was clean and acceptable not spotless. Staff were superb and for the most part the hotel is somewhere I would stay again. Three factors that could be improved. I would like a kettle and fascilities to make coffee in my room. A fridge would have been great, Although a machine was avilablke f9r coofee in he reception this is not ideal. The hotel could bebnefit form a bar in the recpetion area serving those who wish to meet here beofre going out etc. Coffee and beverages in this area would be fantastic.

Great family room - two seperate rooms with a private shared hallway. Loved the level 11 pool area to watch NYE fireworks, great central location, restaurants, cafes etc with easy access to metro lines and walk many other places. One thing others have noted that the location has a bit of an edge, my wife felt a little bit unsafe a couple of times in the area, but to be clear there were no actual issues.

Hotel and staff were wonderful. Should have someone from the staff clean area of litter in front of the hotel. Location is awesome! Room was great. We walked 16,000 steps the first day of our 3 day visit. Would definitely return. Security VERY GOOD! Price very reasonable!
