When I hadn’t received the email with the PIN number I was in a slight panic. However they were SUPER friendly and easy to contact via the number outside the building and I was in the room within 10 mins. Brilliant all around!

BEWARE: unsafe & scammy.

Don't risk it. This place has no reception so it's full of all types of people. Not the kind you want to live beside. A guy was using a key up his nose in the elevator...you know what for.

Not to mention without a reception you miss out on safety, on if any problems arise, and generally the area is awful.

I'd go -1/10 if I could.

Great stay. Easy self check in. Super responsive team on their WhatsApp. Only thing to be aware of is that the walking route google maps takes you through leads to a doorway that is sometimes locked later in the evening, and you have to go around the block to enter from the other side.

Nicely appointed hotel

It's a beautiful hotel with very nicely appointed rooms.
The location is not exactly handy to the river or the old centre but it's not too remote either. There are places to eat very nearby.
My only issue was checking in via the non attendant service as I did not receive the code prior to arriving.

REALLY nice option

Best hotel of our trip (there were five of them.) We loved the look, the quiet street, the design, the lighting, the lobby, the pillows (finally big after three hotels in Italy with paper thin ones), the details, the tea, the bathroom, pretty good place. We loved staying here, to the point that when we had to leave (cause I booked one more hotel for our last night in Prague) we felt we wanted to stay (and probably would have, if we had had the option to cancel the other one). Trying to be fair and mention absolutely every aspect of it, I would say location was nice and walkable to many places... some folks may want to be even closer to old town, maybe. And customer service was always there and great, not always providing the info we were looking for, but maybe part misunderstanding so I will own half of that. But helpful system, had all the check in info in advance and clear, and most of the interaction were quick, simple and on time. I doubt we will be back in Prague soon, but we would choose the same place... and we may seriously consider Numa for stays in other places in Europe, cause we loved this one.

Nice hotel in a great location

Location was great just 5 minute walk to the main shopping district of Wencesles Square. Staff was super helpful and booked us a taxi back to the airport. Rooms were super clean and the continental breakfast was alright! No kettle or bedside tables in the bedroom but otherwise the decor was lovely. The hotel put us and our friends in adjoining rooms which was very helpful. It was also nice and quiet at night as the hotel is situated in a quiet side street.

Boutique hotel w/modern amenities

Modernized yet charming 'old world' hotel. Great on location for transit, eating, access to destinations.
Only drawback is lack of parking. Best if without car or park at city borders. Local transit day passes or longer. Destinations all walking areas. Hotel staff good with English and helpful with arrangements. Hotel breakfast a great start to your day.

Amazing hotel, very disappointing customer service

Very nice hotel, enjoyed my stay, however, the receptionist was extremely rude - we simply tried to cancel the pre-booked taxi giving a 4 hours notices, the receptionist got very aggressive towards us saying that we have to pay for a booking nevertheless that it’s not a joke and it’s a business, very disappointing and unprofessional.

Good time for staying

- The hotel is amazing! I love the design and the room is spacious. The water temperatures inside the bathroom is perfect but the shower is a bit too low.
- The location is not bad walking during a night time - few bars and restaurant nearby.
- It’s a bit walk from a metro like 7-10mins.
- Good choices for breakfast if you are not too picky. Suggested: the hotel should have a buffet line differently for very odd day. Cuz I satyed for 3 nights and I got to eat the same menus.
- Staff was helpful and gave us a good city map

give me different room

I book double room with double bed and they provide me twince bed . When I let them know they didn't help me and no proper answer . As a couple we don't prefer to stay in saprate bed . Not happy with it but rest is good service

Really nice but a bit noisy

The location of the hotel was perfect. Easy walking distance to the Old Town center as well as all public transportation. Everything was fine except it was a bit noisy during the night. There were lots of people outside until about 11:00pm and the trash truck started at 5:00am. Otherwise I would totally recommend this hotel.

Rude staff at front desk; bathroom showers resulted in large water puddle on floors afterwards; breakfast was \"okay\"; located near a metro stop; parking next door requires *advanced* notifications and arrangements. (This hotel does not own any parking garage; they arrange parking with hotel next door and have only two parking spots reserved.)

Nice hotel, good for the price. Not 4-star.

The staff at the hotel are excellent and provided wonderful service and helpful advice, particularly with attractions.

Happily recommend the hotel to others but I would not call it a four star hotel, and you want to make sure the price / rate you pay reflects this.

A few annoyances:
* The room safe is very small; neither my 13\" ultrabook (laptop) or DSLR camera could fit inside.
* The shower head in the bathroom was mounted elbow height.
* The bed is two singles (or king singles) pushed together with separate sheets and blankets. It's also on wheels so opens up slightly during the night with either my wife or myself falling between the gap.
* Chipped & bubbled paint, cracked tiles, drill holes, and very dusty / dirty in parts of the room. Needed a good clean, particularly behind, under and on top of furniture.

It took around 15 minutes to walk to the 'old town' which I would recommend over the tram or metro, as it is a scenic walk itself. We generally chose to walk the waterfront which took a bit longer, especially as we stopped for countless photographs.

There was a dirty shirt in the closet!! I think I paid too much for this hotel, I would not stay there again. But the hotel is OK if u need something quick

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway

This was a very brief trip to Prague for the weekend only. The hotel was perfectly clean and well located just a short walk from the Old Town (without being in the Old Town itself). Service staff were efficient and the breakfast was also plentiful and decent.
The only reason I have not given this a 5 star rating is because there was nothign that made it exceptional, resort like etc. That is, for a hotel of its class it does everything you would want it to do and does it well.

Good place ok location

We arrived late and someone was at the desk waiting for us he was kind. The neighborhood seemed safe. Water pressure was good. bed was hard but comfortable. Room was clean but dated. Breakfast was great. Few blocks from metro station. maybe a brisk 15=20 minute walk to charles bridge. I would stay here again for another trip if I didn't mind a little further walk and wasn't going to spend much time in the room as it is small.

GREAT HOTEL IN GREAT LOCATION

Hotel was in an excellent location. Quiet at night with enough restaurants and bars close by. However was within a 10 minute walk from the sights. It is also a very short walk (5 minutes) to the underground and connections to the airport. Room in the hotel was quite large and very clean and comfortable. Although no bath (in our room) the shower was great. Receptionists and other staff and maids were all very pleasant and spoke good english. However the attitude of the woman who seem to do all the cooking/kept the breakfast buffet fully stocked, left a lot to be desired!. Breakfast was continental and very good with an excellent selection of yogurts, fruit, bread rolls and the usual meats and cheeses. It also included fried eggs and sausage, however the eggs were cold all three mornings of our stay. In brief I will definitely book the hotel again.

We stayed here (in the guesthouse, which is on a quieter street) during our honeymoon a couple nights during a train stopover in between two bigger cities. The staff was helpful in giving us directions for both public transit and driving. I don't know why everyone complains about the carpets, we thought they were awesome! Wish we could've stayed longer!

Great experience at this hotel!

My room in this boutique hotel was quite large. I had a double bed (two twin beds together), a lot of walking space in my room, a little seating area and the bathroom was fully equipped with a towel heater, soap, shampoo, lotion, a hair dryer and a vanity mirror. I was very comfortable in the room. They only offered wifi in the lobby and main areas, but during my trip, I noticed that they had electricians in and out and I saw other wifi boxes connected on each of the floors, each with a wifi code! Perfect timing! I thought that was a HUGE plus - since then the wifi would work on and off - still not super great inside the rooms but definitely when you get closer to your door or in the hallways it was fine. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast that was included each morning - it was a very nice touch. The location was pretty good as well - less than a mile walk from the Dancing House, Old Town Square, restaurants, etc. There's also a few markets and restaurants right around the street from this hotel as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience here!

Overpriced but good location

This hotel was offered at a great discount - I would have been very unhappy if I had spent full price. The location is good for central Prague with some good restaurants near-by. The hotel has breakfast (basic buffet) but no bar or other facilities. Our room was on the ground floor next to the gents loo and opposite the breakfast room - we were woken early each morning by other guests going for breakfast. The room was clean but basic, two beds pushed together, generally the room was in need of a coat of paint and some general maintenance. We were pretty disappointed based on the other reviews we read. Maybe technically a 4* hotel but 2 or 3 would be more appropriate.

Very convenient location, excellent breakfast

We arrived here from Dresden, our 3rd city stop on our way to Krakow. This hotel is within 10-15 mins walk to Praha hl.n (main train station) and walking distance to all top attractions (Charles Bridge/Wenceslas Square and many more). You don't need to take hop-on/hop-off bus if you don't mind walking all day or take occasional tram ride to explore the city . The hotel is an older building, older décor, more authentic, not your typical chain hotel, small room, bathroom is a bit tight. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, inexpensive, and don't care about the room size, this hotel will do just fine. Breakfast is included (excellent assortment!!). Wifi connection but no computer available to use. You can also leave your luggage after checking out in case you still need to spend more time exploring. Staff very friendly and helpful. From hotel, we walked back to main train station (couple of blocks from Wenceslas Sq) to get an overnight train to Krakow. Good value for the money.

A big tap over a small sink and a thiny enterance to shower area made it inconveniece for me. ( it seemed the room I was staying in, has been built up recently as a little space left for bathroom)

The lady at front desk was very nice. There was no A/C in my room (only has A/C, it seems, in 1st floor rooms), so she got me a fan. No WiFi, so she got me a cable so I could use the landline internet in my room. Again, I Ididn't pay much for the room, so I wasn't upset bythe mediocre breakfast. Great location. A short, pleasant walk to Wenceslas Sq., which is the start of Old Town. So, in short: Antik City Hotel is a great place to stay if you get a very low rate, and go in knowing that you likely won't have A/C nor WiFi in your room, and will be served a humble breakfast.

The Antik City has a great location especially if you like to walk. There are trams just a few blocks away and the subway is within easy reach. A cab to the train station was only 100czk. The rooms were basic, and there was only a shower in the bathroom. Internet was accessed by cable (available from the front desk). Being an older building, you could hear noises from the hall in your room. Breakfast given was average.

great for the price

Staff was very friendly and spoke wonderful English. Breakfast was included, even though I didn't remember that from my reservation. It was ok, but I'm not sure I would have paid for it. Room was reasonable size and clean and comfortable. It was on a quiet street so no real noise, other than a garbage truck in the morning. Typical European \"double\" bed is really two twins, but wasn't a surprise to us. Distance to the metro was a bit long for as tired as we were, but we purposfully booked something a little further out to save some money. A very nice place for the price if you don't mind a little walking.

Good hotel at a good location for the price

Great location and walk to everything since it's pretty close to Vaclavske Namesti. Hotel has internet access in your room but you have to connect with an ethernet wire. I suggest bringing your own wire since the wire they provided had really loose ends which slips off the computer pretty easily. Good size room with air conditioning. Pretty good breakfast that is included with your hotel stay. I would stay in this hotel again in the future.

Antik: decent hotel if you get a good deal, but...

We were satisfied with this hotel (and we are demanding but understanding of local conditions) except for 1 thing: hotel was advertised as being on a quiet side street. It is a side street, but every morning we were there, starting at 7 am twice and 5.30 once, there was much noise on this street from trucks going too fast and - the kicker - the neighboring hotel's towel service receiving their freshly washed towels at 5.30 am on giant metal stands with wheels: the sound this makes over cobblestones at 5.30 am is AWFUL, through closed windows. The breakfasts were ok if unimaginative, the rooms were in order, though they suffer from the typical problem of the mattresses, at least ours, not being one matt. but rather 2 singles pushed together with a gap (unfastened!!! not romantic...). For the standard price we saw posted there, hotel is overpriced. For what we paid on expedia, about half of that, it was fair, but we were unhappy with the experience due to poor sleep. The only benefit was deciding at 5.40 am to just walk to Charles Bridge and experience it without others, so for that I am thankful. For others, if you choose to stay here, I strongly recommend requesting rooms on the inside of the hotel, not on the street. Oh, and no air conditioning. But it's really not a terrible place... it just needs better sound insulation! We don't regret staying there, but we do regret not asking for a room change, but the 5.30 am only happened the one weekday we were there, the last day.

Ask for air conditioning in advance

When we checked in it was pretty hot in Prague. I thought sure we'd have air conditioning, but I was wrong. We were told that the rooms with air were all booked and would not be available until after we left three days later. We were offered fans which we dragged upstairs ourselves. It was tough going the first night as we needed to leave the windows open, but then we had the noisy alley listen to all night. We will not stay there again.

Wonderful and low price hotel

We recently stayed at the Antik City Hotel. The hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk from Old Town and the main attractions. The price was great and include internet and breakfast. The hotel was very clean and our room was comfortable and very cute. The breakfast was just ok, but for the price we could not complain. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to save some money but still get a clean hotel in a reasonable location.

The hotel was in quiet street so no annoying traffic. Its is close to the tourists attractions about 5 minutes walk. At the top of the street is a white church which is a good landmark for returning, but beware as at night time not lit so harder to spot.
Hotel bed was comfortable, room adequate. Good value for money. It is rated as 4 star but would put as 3.5 star.

Antik City - a magical stay in Prague

We had a great time at the Antik City. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food. The location was fine - an easy walk down the hill to Wenceslas Square. Our teenage boys enjoyed having their own room. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The Antik City Hotel in Prague - good choice

We were very pleased with the Antik City Hotel in Prague. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and well serviced during our stay. Reception personnel were courteous, helpful with directions, and spoke English well. The breakfast was excellent. Hotel location within Prague was acceptable, with easy access to public transportation to all parts of the city. We highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again.

Clean rooms, pretty large breakfast, walking distance from train station (depending on your energy level). Reception was as helpful as they could be and open 24 hours. When I think of 'four stars', a lot more comes to mind (like a pool and very spacious rooms), but, regardless, it was still a nice hotel at a great price. Bed/mattress comfort level might be an issue for sensitive sleepers.

Location of the hotel is in a small, quite street, yet walking distance from the centre of the city.
Hotel is old, and looks like it, too. The cleanliness is good, but rooms (at least my room on ground floor) looks old, not 4-star level in my opinion.
Biggest issue is, however, that the room was very hot. There is only air-conditioning in some of the rooms, this was not one of them. I had to keep the large window open all night to be able to sleep.

Antik City Hotel Prague

Antik City Hotel Prague is a nice, small hotel close to the heart of Prague. Located in a quiet street, it provides a quiet spot for travellers. Nice rooms, good firm beds and roomy bathroom with a tub. Free internet access was a plus for me.

The breakfast was ok, but needs more range.

Very expensive laundry service, however staff is helpful and will assist you if you have questions.

An excellent Italian restaurant was down the street with exquisit food (but very slow service).

Overall, a pleasant stay in Prague.

Hotel Antik City

Charming old-fashioned hotel with character. Location not too far from centre and within walking distance of main station. The neighbourhood is a bit run-down but Mala Stepanska itself is quiet - a cul-de-sac at night but with pedestrian access to Karlovo Nemesti during the day.
Need to improve their breakfast offering. Otherwise service was very good.

Great hotel, easy to get to from the airport

This place was pretty legit. Pretty nice with a nice bathroom. The bed was two twins pushed together, not a big deal for me. Breakfast was pretty good, nice options, nothing crazy, just some little things but it was enough. I had no complaints except I couldnt find the place that easily, if you come from the west, you have to go through a small alley way to get to the hotel, wish i knew that, but none the less i went around the block cause thats what the locals told me to do and found it fine. The people who worked there where nice! Also, this place was way easy to get to from the airport, dont waste ur money on a taxi!

Very pleasant stay

Breakfast was far more than normal \"kontinental\"-standard and the rooms are clean and furnished with everything one needs.
The personnel speaks english and partially german very well and is really commited to help out with LAN-cable, travel transformer and additional pillows...
Alltogether we had a nice Prague-Trip, which was not least because of this recommendable hotel!

Hotel is only a few blocks from Wenceslas Square and only one block from tram #22, which goes directly to Prague Castle, and is a convenient way to get back to the hotel. Can recommend

Fantastic value- highly recommended

We were pleasently surprised by this hotel. Breakfast far better than we expected from an included continental. Décor of the hotel was lovely. I would say that the rooms on the front of the hotel are too noisy, as in the summer it's too hot to sleep with the windows shut (presume winter would be fine). We were initially given a room on the front but requested a change which was accommodated after some discussion! Location was perfect for us; about a 10-20 minute tram journey to all the main attractions but very quiet at night (noise at front of hotel is only very infrequent passing traffic but I'm a light sleeper!). As somebody else said there is Hotel Antik as well as the Antik City Hotel; we were very pleased we chose Antik City- admittedly we didn't see inside Hotel Antik and it was very central but it was really no trouble getting around on the trams (the number 22 seems to be everywhere!)

Das Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet. Bitte beachten Sie aber beim Buchen in Expedia, dass die Zimmerkategorien falsch eingestuft sind und daher wurden wir im falschen Zimmer gebucht! Zum Glück hat das Team vom Hotel alles gelöst.

Praticamente sublime il miglior hotel in cui sono stato la stanza grande pulita con letto ultra comodo con 4 cuscino onestamente sembra un 4 o piu stelle bagno e doccia fantastica non c'è reception pero tramite whatup se hai problemi rispondono immediatamente e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi problema anche io non ho mai avuto problemi ma immagino che se ci fossero dei problemi si facevano in 4 per risolvere il problema immediatamente
