At the moment I book, it was the best price in Prague and near and still very good rooms, polite and willing persionell, interesting old building (one of the lifts is attraction by itself), very good brekfest for this price. The only area of improvement - brekfest is served a bit late - 7:30 earliest...Not only me but more guests waited it impatiently :)... If they serve it at least at 7:00 it be ideal...How again - breakfest itself was super for this prices

It wasn't terrible. But i couldn't shower properly because the thingy where you are supposed to put the shower was pointing on the wrong direction so i had to be resourceful. The breakfast is certainly not worth it, use de 7 euro to do it somewhere else. But for the price it was ok.

Extremely noisy, dirty and unpleasant hotel with torn pillowcases and curtains. We have payed 270€ for two nights, I couldn’t believe my eyes too see the real,price - 23€ per,night. How can it be?
I would never recommend this place.

Wouldnt come back

Disappointing experience. The rooms are NOT like the pictures at all. The bathroom was shared with another room, which was not announced. No TV as described. Poor wifi and rude staff. Location was convenient though.

Positive experience but poor wifi

Stayed here a few nights with my family and overall a positive experience. Room was very big and clean and had a nice view to the street. It's not super close to the city center but a very doable 35 min walk or a quick tram 15min tram ride. Breakfast was average and not too much variety, but overall pleased. My main annoyance with this hotel is that the wifi is absolutely terrible! So if you want to get any work done or stream netflix at the end of the day you really can't. The one other downside is the towels need some updating as they even gave us one towel with holes in it and despite being clean it looked more like a cleaning rag with the number of holes in it. Despite the above would stay here again, but would have to figure out a way around wifi issues.

The hotel is well located - despite the lack of a car park belonging to the hotel, we managed to find a parking place near the building. The room in which we slept was excellent - a large comfortable bed, clean bathroom, all the necessary equipment worked. The advantage is that the reception desk is open 24 hours a day. The hotel staff was also polite. I wouldn't hesitate to give the highest note, but on the day we left the hotel, the lady said that before we check out, we have to wait for the staff to check that we left the room in order. We were confused - in no European and Asian country did we experienced a similar practice. We slept in Prague several times and in no hotel or hostel did anyone check if the room was cleaned before the guests left. Such practices are a lack of trust and respect for guests.

Very cheap, very short tram ride to the centre, perfect for a cheap few days in Prague. We used the hotel simply to sleep in, as soon as we woke we left for the entire day. Yeh there’s no tv and it isn’t that pleasing on the eye, but it did exactly what it was required to do.

Clean and Accomodating

While this hotel is not near any sightseeing, it was only a tram ride away. Tram system was easy and cheap. At first, we worried about the looks of the area. But after our first night, we felt safe walking to and from the tram in the evening hours. The service by employees was great! They were friendly and available to answer any questions. With a few upgrades, this hotel would be perfect for those wanting to travel on a budget. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but again out dated; could use a new sofa and a little sprucing up. The bath room was clean but could use updating. The shower was very small and not a lot of space to move around. All that being said, because they were very accomodating-even had tram tickets there to purchase-we would stay again.

A nice place to stay.

As soon as we walked in to the hotel, we got a very nice, warm welcome, with all details and attractions explained and pointed out on a map.

The room is nice and I can't say I expected anything different.

Only improvements I can think of is that even though the double bed was 2 singles next to each other, the Duve should have been one that fits a double and not 2 single duves.

Also, the curtains were there mostly to provide a bit of privacy rather than stopping the sunlight coming in.

The couple of things I just mentioned above are simple suggestions for improvement and I would probably opt to for the same hotel if I were to visit Prague again!

Had a very large pillow with hardly any stuffing inside it so it was quite uncomfortable to use so had to use a rolled up bed throw as a booster. Staff were absolutely fabulous.

Had a fridge but no tea making facilities and had to buy a travel kettle myself.
Had an old style TV and of the 4 channels available only 1 was in English and that was BBC World News and could not retune it. Just glad I had my smart phone with me.

Overall, I had a fantastic time. I can't emphasise how wonderful the desk staff were. Really helpful.

Travel is really cheap. 551 Koruna (about £14 at 34 Koruna to the pound) gets you a full months travel on the Trams, Metro and Buses. Marvelous value.

Location is fine but this hotel is old and creepy. Only reason I stayed is because it was New Years time and I had waited too late to book a decent hotel. This was one of the few available. They didn't even clean the bathroom shower stall during my stay. Nor did they remove the trash.

I left a day early and they would not give me my money back. I've never had that happen before. Don't stay at this hotel unless your desperate.

The hotel is situated a little bit outside the city centre of Prague, but the centre is easily accessible with tram and and there were plenty of free parking spaces in the street outside the hotel. Very convenient if you travel by your own transportation. The hotel is personally decorated, the rooms are spacious and clean. But I have to say it really didn't go well with their image of a luxury hotel when the door handle of the bathroom came off when touched and the next day the maid had just stuck it back in without getting someone to actually fix it. And we got a twin room though we requested a double. Breakfast was nice. Pretty good value for money!

The price is great for such a central Hotel. Room was not very big but bright and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its near trams and easily accessible to all interesting sights of Prague. Will definitely stay there again. Car parking outside was handy also.
They charged 10 euro which I though was a bit steep for a terrier pet but it was better than leaving her in the car outside the hotel overnight.

OK for 3 stars

I spent 1 week at this hotel because it is within walking distance to the Congress Center. However to get to the Center or to the Old City you need to take the tram, which is convenient though; just make sure you buy tickets in advance since not all stations have selling machines.
The room was OK, fairly clean, although relatively small ... but you don't go to Prague to spend your day inside the hotel room.
The service was OK. The buffet breakfast was more than OK. The variety served was really good. I just loved their breakfast!
The only downside was the internet! Inside the rooms it was rather not working. So if you need internet, prepare to use it mostly from the ground-floor lobby.
Overall, I would stay there again anytime!

Not the best part of the city to be located in (distance and run down)

The hotel was very basic with uncomfortable pillows - the bedding/towels weren't refreshed nor the room cleaned after our first night, but was on subsequent nights. The tap in the sink leaked incessantly and the bathroom floor was flooded several times. Breakfast was adequate although it did feel a bit like sitting in a front parlour. Smokers everywhere (but then this was Prague!). Staff at reception were helpful. Although situated quite a way out of the centre and in a run down area, the tram stop was close by with trams running into the city frequently. Loved Prague but wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

How this can be classed as 4 star who knows. more like 1 star. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together, no mini bar as stated in booklet. Mouldy shower door and shower, dodgy electrics and 2 electric lamps not working. Also no coffee making facilities or anything of the Ilk. Reception were very helpful,and pointed in right direction for whatever questions asked. As we wanted a quiet location was fine and close to trams which are well worth using.

Booked a twin room for myself and a friend, and am pleased to say there were no problems this time, as compared to my stay last month. (See earlier review).

Nice and quiet, good breakfast if you have another time to eat it, and at least they did remember the take-away breakfast this time, although just 2 sandwiches is hardly substantial and I feel they could have done better.

Gallery SIS Review - Vrsovice

It's a good value hotel, and maybe I was a little unlucky this time, having stayed there previously.

First problem was with the door key - they use the electronic ones, and I seem to have problems with these things wherever I stay. So, back down to reception where the receptionist came up with me, and it took her 3 attempts to make it work.

The second problem was the toilet door handle - it came off in my hand at 2am in the morning, which meant I had to pay an earlier than anticipated visit to reception in the morning to get it fixed, before I was able to wash etc.

The third problem was the breakfast. On my last day, I had to leave early, so I had specifically requested a 'take-away' breakfast, as advertised. When it came to 5am at my time of departure, they'd forgotten about it completely, so I went away empty handed.

On the plus side, the hotel is in a quiet area, there's a great pub called Zly Casy less than 5 minutes walk which over 20 types of Czech pivo on draught, trams and shops are close by, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the mainline station at Vrsovice, with a regular service to more distant towns such as Ceske Budejovice. There's also the nearby depot where they maintain 40+ year old class 749 diesels which work weekend trains to Tanvald and Cercany. Look out for 749006, 039, 102, 107 and 121 if you like your travel with a bit of proper noise!

Would I stay there again - on balance, yes.

A very friendly hotel

I was happy with the staff in the hotel. When I had put my luggage there before I checked in.A lady at the front desk showed me a map and suggested good ways of sight-seeing in the town. In the room, there were some problems with the rooms and I asked to change them to another one. I actually changed 2 rooms because of some facility problems. But the staff was kindly dealt accepted my request. I finally got a clean andwide room. Thanks to his kindness, I really enjoyed the trip.

Hi If you are looking for a Hilton Hotel you won't stay hee but if you are looking for a great local hotel with traidional feel, really friendly staff, and great continental breakfast then we highly recommend this hotel. We decided we wanted tradional rather than 5 star - so much character - even the lift adds characcter! It really made our stay in Prague memorable.

A lovely hotel

This hotel is newly referbished. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The room was a good size for 2 people. It was very clean and modern. The breakfast provided was of a good standarded and we never had to wait to get a table. The hotel was easy to find and even thouigh the surrounding area looks a little ran down we never had any problems. There are 2 main tram lines (11 and 18) which stop very close to the hotel, so getting into the centre of prague was quick and easy. I was very happy with this hotel and hope others will like it as much as i did.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay

The hotel is not exactly located in the city centre but there are trams (no. 11 & 18) which run frequently from city centre. The hotel is approximately a 5 minute walk from the station. The staff is very welcoming and gave us most information about travelling as we checked in. A refundable deposit was require (50 Euros) upon arrival. We had a room on the top floor and it was huge. The bathroom was suited with a bathtub (as we requested) and there is also a large wall drobe. We were surprised to find an English channel with European news on TV as many reviews stated that there was no English channel. The downside is that the water temperature for the shower was not very stable and the towels in our bathroom weren't changed once throughout our 4-day stay. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient with a selection of ham, bread and cheese as well as hot drinks and juice. A couple of computers in the communal area are connected to the internet which guests can freely use. The only thing is that people do not really respect the 'do not smoking' sign which made common area and reception stink. However most of the time it was alright and the rooms are free from smoke. All in all, we are satisfied with the stay at the hotel. People who do not mind a bit of walking and want to save a few bugs should definitely choose this hotel.

Not quite right

The hotle is just about OK- good value, but small things like the absence of a bedside table (!) mean this is not a 4 star hotl. The reception was brusque to the point of rudeness. As someone who travels a lot on business I was gobsmacked when I disclosed my (modest) use of the minibar to have the receptionist go upstairs whilst I waited to check. Small things (like the pride in not having small change to buy a tramticket riled me. Sorry - I won't be back

No complaints from me, great location with a few good bars around, quick tram to the centre. Hotel was very clean, very nice staff, all spoke English. Le personnel était sympathique et le petit-déjeuner était bon. J'ai eu un gros problème avec ma chambre.

La porte fermait mal et je n'ai pas pu dormir correctement à cause des gens qui parlaient fort et qui écoutaient de la musique très tôt le matin.

Il m'est arrivé de devoir me lever et d'aller parler à la réception à cause du bruit. J'ai demandé à changer de chambre à deux reprises, mais ce n'était pas possible. Il semblait que ma chambre était la seule à avoir une porte défectueuse qui fermait mal.

Il semblait aussi qu'elle était en cours de rénovation.

Good for backpackers with a tight budget

The only good thing with this hotel was that it was fairly cheap and sustainable. Why was it sustainable? Well because they saved a lot of money in saving decor from the 1800s, not washing sheets nor towels between our three day stay, not vacuuming nor cleaning and in the Prague heat of 35° the airconditioner did not work.

Easy to take the tram to the city, no good restauraunts near the hotel.

The staff didn't meet expectations of a three star hotel. Not welcoming nor service minded.

The room smelled old and moist. No soap in the bathroom and it didn't get refilled even when we asked for it. We asked for new sheets and towels and when we returned we found the room just as we had left it.

The breakfast was a wannabe-nice hotel breakfast. Some sausage, beans (these were not heated at all when we arrived at the breakfast opening), rice, white bread, yoghurt in small packets, mortadella, cheese, watermelon and orange. Tasteless, dry and not worth the price of 9€. The room in which the breakfast was served was dimly lit and uncomfortable. The dining area even more so, with old rugs covering chairs, holes in the walls and non-matching furniture.

Friendly staff, disappointing breakfast

The staff was pretty friendly. The hotel seem be in rough shape. Could probably use an renovation. There was a small bar room. A bit of shame that the bar wasn't in use.

The was described a pool in the description. However the staff told us that it was out of order. I got the feeling that it had been out of order for a long time....

The mount for the shower head was not ideal. I had to take the show head down in order to get the soap out of my hair.

The room was without an air-conditioning. Makes it a bit hot to sleep when the temperature was at 32 degrees.

The tv was a bit small for the room.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The plates and glasses didnt look clean. The bread was dry. In general a lot of the food seemed a bit too cheap.

The accommodation was the worst one I have ever had.
Those pictures in advertisement (in your website) are clearly a scam.

- I got the room in floor 5. Due to unsafe elevator, We used stairs instead.
- The room has a shared wc and bathroom
- The room cleanness was quite awful
- I couldn't sleep due to lots of noise, during the night. (Doors rattle, sound of scream/shout)

Tout était sale: draps, matelas, serviettes, murs, plancher, tapis dans les escaliers et corridors. Il n'y avait pas de papier de toilette, ni tapis de bain. Personne à la reception pour nous aider. C'est une femme de chambre qui nous a accueilli à notre arrivée. Notre chambre était au 5e étage mais l'ascenseur \"de service\" se rendait jusqu'au 4e. Nous avons dû nous reloger à nos frais, aucune possibilité d'obtenir un dédommagement. J'ai dû negocier pour obtenir une facture imprimée. Ils ont refusé d'écrire les raisons de notre départ hâtif, ne se sont pas excusé, ne nous ont pas proposé une autre chambre. La directrice n'est jamais venue nous rencontrer ou constater l'état de la chambre. C'est le pire établissement que j'ai vu. Aucun respect pour les voyageurs. Les chambres ne ressemblent en rien aux photos, aucune piscine ni spa comme écrit dans leur description. Nous nous sommes relogés dans un super quartier dans un hotel impeccable pour la moitié du prix!!!! Expedia ne devrait pas faire la promotion d'établissement de ce genre.

Hotel ansich sehr schön, Personal freundlich.
Leider war es ziemlich laut, Kinder haben extrem laut herum geschrien, auch die Erwachsenen waren sehr laut, die Wände sind sehr dünn, man konnte sogar die Toiletten Spülung im Nebenzimmer hören. Weiters steht Check Out um 11:00 Uhr auf Expedia und wir mussten 1 Stunde früher auschecken, nicht okay. Der Aufzug funktionierte am 2ten Tag auch nicht, und der Fernsehr leider auch nicht.

Une honte ! Hôtel à fuir

J'ai réservé cet hôtel uniquement pour la prestation SPA comme cadeau d'anniversaire à ma chérie. A notre arrivée, le réceptionniste nous informe que cela fait des années qu'il n'y a plus de SPA. Je souhaite annuler au moins la 2e nuit, mais refus catégorique. Nous découvrons la chambre : très basique avec des lits sans sommier (juste une plaque de bois) les matelas souillés et déchirés, ainsi que les draps. J'exige de nouveaux draps (ces derniers tout autant douteux !)
Déduction : un week-end gâché, un mal de dos terrible et beaucoup de temps perdu en transport car l'hôtel est tout de même à 5 km du centre ville.

Te cobran una fianza de 50€ en metálico cuando llegas que nadie te avisa con anterioridad. Los colchones más que colchones son sacos de muelles, las almohadas son como folios y los baños no solo los compartes con los huéspedes sino que cuando tú estás dentro sin ningún tipo de respeto se cuela el servicio de limpieza.

Chambre qui laisse grandement à désirer

Des traces de sang se trouvaient sur l'un des oreillers ainsi que sur l'une des couvertures. De plus, l'autre tissu de l'oreiller et de la couverture étaient troués.
L'une des serviette pour les mains était également trouée, ainsi que le rideau de douche.
Les coins n'étaient pas nettoyés, la poussière n'était pas faîte, les portes coulissantes du placard n'étaient pas présentes et des amas blanc de saleté se trouvaient sur les rails où auraient dû se trouver ces portes.
Dans la salle de bain, aucun verre à dent était présent, alors que le support l'etait, idem pour le support à savon et pour la vitre en verre qui aurait dû se trouver sous le miroir.
Afin de pouvoir utiliser le sèche cheveux, qui était sale à l'intérieur, il fallait penser à allumer la bonne lumière dans la salle de bain. Le support du pommeau de douche était branlant et le pommeau était bouché par du calcaire et de la saleté, uniquement 3 trous étaient fonctionnels, avec un débit d'eau ralenti quel que soit le mode, tout juste suffisant pour se mouiller, insuffisant pour se laver. Dans la douche, une seule personne pouvait entrer en même temps.
Dans la chambre, aucun minibar se trouvait là où il existait un espace pour ce dernier, des traces suspectes blanches pouvaient être retrouvées sur les voilages.
La réception à tout de même tenter de palier rapidement aux problèmes, bien qu'insuffusant pour que l'on puisse profiter du moment après cela.

Non mi é piacciuto nulla , dalla prima entrata. Personale neanche non risponde al saluto, tutto( quasi ) stranieri (russi o ucraina). Struttura vecchia, collazzione scelta debole ( 3 giorni con piccolo scambiamento, frutta solo mela ! Poi non rispettano GDPR , oltre deil controllo dei doccumenti , test o certificato vaccinazione si permettono fare anche le copie !!! Even though smoking is strictly forbidden through out the whole hotel, there was a strong distinguished smoke odor present. Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Heavily used mattresses. Everything else was just fine (covid precautions are very discomforting - but thats on the govy).

Not really satisfied.

Very clean. Staff at reception helpful, speak english. Kitchen staff a bit rude, speak only russian. Breakfast too late! (not before 7:30, weekdays as well as weekends), no great variation, no fresh fruits and vegetables apart from very thin slices orange. Only old bread. Barely something non-animalic. Several unnecessary warm things like soup and stuff you don't want in the morning.

The doors can fall shut and cannot be opened from outside. So if you forget your key inside it is a problem.: You will have to pay the money for the locksmith!!

Superfriendly and surly straff...

The girls in the check-in were really friendly, super helpful. The guy at the check-out was surly. Hard beds, as is standard in most of Europe. Modern bathroom, tricky to shower since it had only a light sprits when the water was hot. Cool, artsy interior. Good breakfast, lots to choose from especially if you like cakes. Great price.

Das Preis- Leistungverhältnis war ausgesprochen gut. Am zweibettigen Doppelzimmer war für das Geld ebenfalls nichts auszusetzen. Das Buffet beim Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und ausreichend. Es bleibt besonders positiv der freundliche Service am Empfang zu erwähnen, welcher 24h besetzt ist. Die Bar hilft ebenso gerne zu jeder Stunde aus ;)
Ich würde das Hotel beim nächsten Besuch in Prag wieder buchen und kann es nur empfehlen!

Hotel molto pulito e personale gentile, l'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è stato trovare la porta della camera aperta, perchè nessuno del personale si era accorto che la serratura era difettosa, per cui, dopo le pulizie della mattina, la camera è rimasta aperta tutto il giorno fino al nostro rientro.

Wij verbleven er 3 nachten en moesten 3 dagen met dezelfde handdoek doen. Zelfs op de laatste nacht was er maar een klein handdoekje die ik niet had gebruikt. Anders had ik geen eens af kunnen drogen. Ook moesten wij 3 dagen doen met 1 wc rol.
De stopcontacten zaten tegen de bedframe aan en die kon je dus niet gebruiken

Schönes, preiswertes Hotel. in 20 Minuten im Zentr

Preiswertes Hotel, etwas abseits gelegen. Das Hotelpersonal ist bemüht, die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück. Mit der Straßenbahn war man naxch 20 Minuten im Zentrum.

Profesjonalna i miła obsługa. Dobre WiFi. Śniadania skromne ale wystarczające. Duże, wygodne łóżko. Niestety pokój był bardzo mały w stosunku do tego co napisano w ofercie. Miało być 25 mkw. a było ok 12 mkw. Choć obsługa zadeklarowała zmianę pokoju, nie było to możliwe z powodu obłożenia.

היינו במלון SIS שנמצא קצת מחוץ למרכז פראג כך שיכולנו להינות מאווירה שכונתית מקומית, עם אנשים נחמדים, פאב מקומי ואחלה אוכל. מרחק של כ-15 דקות נסיעה למרכז, לא מסובך, נגיש ואפילו מסודר (גם מונית לא יקרה).

Здравствуйте.Да,да ,понравилось Даже просто сказать понравилось -это ничего не сказать.Уютная тихая гостиница не в самом центре,но ещё в старой части Праги,с хорошей транспортной доступностью:трамваи,автобусы-всё рядом.8-10 минут и вы на Вацлавской площади(сердце Праги).И парк!Масса недорогих магазинчиков.Замечательный:внимательный,предупредительный,с улыбкой встречающий,персонал.Завтрак-шведский стол. В любое время приготовят чай(бесплатно;не чашечку,а целый чайник и сколько хочешь).В прошлом году в останавливалась в CENTRAL HOTEL PRAG.Отношение его персонала к постояльцам не идёт ни в какое сравнение с GALLERY HOTEL SIS.Конечно!Конечно!в GALLERY во 100 крат лучше!Оба ***,но разница значительная. Если доведётся побывать в красавице Праге снова,то остановлюсь ТОЛЬКО в GALLERY HOTEL SIS.Спасибо Hotels.com,что предложили эту гостиницу.Спасибо всему персоналу GALLERY HOTEL SIS за старание сделать отдых своих гостей приятным.

Hotel im höhreren Alter

Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein mini Zimmer unterm Dach im 5ten Stock. Und der Fahrstuhl fährt nur bis in den 4ten Stock. Das Frühstück war super mies. Ekliger Saft, Brötchen hart und das Müsli alt!
Ohne Tram keine Chance in die Stadt zu kommen.

Freundlicher Empfang, die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war klein aber sauber.
Die Betten sind etwas hart. Die Lage ist günstig, zur Altstadt, mit der Tram, nur 15 Minuten. Tram Tickets gibt es im Hotel. Das Frühstück besser als in manchen teuren Hotels in Deutschland. Parkplätze gibt es um das Hotel herum. Wir hatten mit unseren Mercedes direkt vor dem Hotel einen Parkplatz bekommen. Diebstahl? Fehlanzeige! Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

preiswertes Hotel für Kurzurlaub in Prag

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit den preiswerten öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Recht gute Verkehrsanbindung in das Zentrum von Prag. Man ist schnell an den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten (Burg, Karlsbrücke, Altstadt, Jüdisches Viertel, Wenzelsplatz, Schiffsanlegestellen usw.). Im Zentrum kann man sehr gut essen, die Auswahl der Restaurants ist groß. Ist man einmal in der Stadt kann man die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erkunden.
