Breakfast was very good for a guesthouse standard. A good variety of cheeses, breads, fruits, eggs, ham, sausage, breakfast cakes along with classic porridge, cereals, yoghurts. Very impressed. The service is very nice. Only gripe would be in shared bathroom situation, the gendered bathrooms are on different floors - so be prepared to move between floors.

We stayed in the 3 bed suite which was in a beautiful house and was spotlessly clean and warm. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.the complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious. We will certainly be coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel was situated at a quiet area.
Breakfast was good. My room has good view out of the window but the toilet was a bit small.
Location is ok as it’s within 10 minutes walk to the door nearest tram station.

TWO refrigerators! Beds pretty hard. Clean. The shower was a no go! Terrible. Couldn’t even stand up without my head hitting the ceiling. No shower curtain and tub was big enough for a child. Other than the shower, good stay.

Another Great Stay

Another great stay at Penzion Jana. I have stayed here several times. This property is in a nice neighborhood with easy access a tram line and 2 major Metro stations. The complimentary breakfast is fine with a wide selection of breakfast items. The hotel is kept in immaculate condition by a friendly and helpful staff. This property has a garden to relax in which makes it an amazing location during the warm weather months.

An Inexpensive Gem

The location is ideal for a traveler willing to use the Metro. It is steps away from the tram stop Perunova. This easily connects to green Metro stations Flora and Nemesti Miru and red Metro station I.P. Pavlova. So the entire city is accessible.
My breakfast buffet was included, free. Daily there was a variety of hams, cheeses, pastry, cereals, fruits and breads. Plus juices, bacon and eggs. A coffee maker was available.
The facility was kept immaculate by a friendly and helpful staff. The outside garden was lovely and would be an attraction if visiting in the summer.
My shared bathroom consisted of a stand up shower, toilet and sink which was steps away from my room. I had a key for the bathroom so although it was shared. it was private. My room was comfortable and clean. And the free Wifi service was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend.

Despite the advertising stating that there is a private bathroom, the bathroom was in fact not private, and shared with other guests on the first floor. The doors are also very thin and dont lock easily, meaning that your privacy from other guests is minimal

Outstanding value

This \"Pension\" is an outstanding value. The location is Prague 10 which is not bad for going into the center. Also, it is not far from a large shopping center, Flora. The rooms are excellent and clean and breakfast is included. My only criticism is that the wifi is a bit iffy, and sometimes goes off. They are aware of this problem, which comes from the unreliable service provider, O2. I had a private room and shared a bathroom on the common hall, but there was never a conflict. This is my best choice in Prague where I have been many times for a value shopper like me. The building also has an interesting history deriving from the second world war and the Gestapo!

Very clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Paid parking. Horrible check in. The hotel gathers ALL personal data including minor's info and sends it further. Apparently this is the process in the whole country. No one could explain clearly why minor's info is required. The fees I booked the hotel with was 30% over the cost of the hotel's room (covid) at the time of check in. No one offered price adjustment.

Hotel was quite, room view over the balcony provided quality views, breakfast was good and location was only about half hour walk to the centre and close to trams and metro lines.

A very satisfied and surprising staying

The hotel is AMAZING. For this price, you can get a condon-like spatial double bed apartment that come together with a kitchen, and a surprisingly big bathroom. The room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast, although the food stayed the same everyday, but it was good with abundant choice. Most likely people would complain the block hotel located in, well it is undeniable it looks messy and unsafe. Still, it is not that scary you will get rob or pocket-picked, as long as you don't mess around with the residents in the block. Short walking to the Brno central, and you can enjoy the scenery as you walk.

Very enjoyable stay and would recommend this. I booked hotel to airport round trip transport, but they didn't arrive for airport return. The hotel in my time if need called a taxi, which arrived in 5 minutes meaning the flight was caught in time. Such helpfulness cannot be underestimated. I would have qualms returning to pension/hotel jana

Wir hatten ein Comfort-Doppelzimmer. Dieses war sehr geräumig und sauber und mit Allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt.
Der Service war sehr gut. Preiswerte Unterkunft mit guter Anbindung zu Tram/Metro.
Frühstück etwas simpel, aber für den Preis voll in Ordnung. Wir würden es weiterempfehlen.
Parkplatz auf dem Hof kostet 10€/Tag. Geld wechseln ist vor Ort möglich.

Une belle grande chambre, avec une excellente literie.... mais elle donne directement dans le refectoire, salle du petit dejeuner !
Du coup extrement bruyante, avec les chaises qui raclent le sol et qui bien sûr n’ont pas de tampon feutre sous les pieds.
La grande baie vitree de la chambre donne directment sur le parking, donc aucune intimité.

La sdb est grande et foncionnelle; par contre le pommeau de douche ne tient pas dans son support mural, et la quantité d’eau avec un tel debit est ahurissante ! J’ai suggéré des pommeaux economiseur d’eau, ou brumisateur mais la santé de la planete est tres loin de les préoccuper.
Le petit dej est tres bien, par contre tout n’est pas au meme endroit. Les boissons dans une salle, les denrées dans une autre.
Et aucun laitage.
Un hébergement qui fait le job si vous etes en mode baroudeur couche tot et lève tot.

Das Bad war sehr eng und der Wasserhahn 40 cm über einem kleinen Waschbecken, sowas habe ich noch nie gesehen. Aber ansonsten alles gut. Man bekommt auch am späten Abend noch ein Flaschenbier an der Rezeption.

Die Pension ist perfekt gelegen. 2 min zu Fuss zur Tram und 8 min bis zur Metro.
Die Pension ist sehr einfach gehalten aber es war alles sehr sauber und das Personal sehr nett. Der Parkplatz ist direkt im Hof.

It’s a good pension in a central location. The only problem was that they gave us the wrong checkout time. By Expedia said checkout was at 12:00, but they tried to make us leave at 10:00 and they told “ this is your fault”. They said it was written on the paper in the room. We didn’t read the papers in the room and we must not read it. We checked the checkout time on Expedia, and it said 12:00. Also, being woken up because of this mistake was very annoying. This was definitely the pension’s fault.
