I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Golden City Garni! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was easy to get to and from Prague city centre on the tram. There are a few small convenience stores nearby and a grocery store up the street. The only thing was that our AC unit in the room occasionally made a beeping sound that we could not figure out how to turn off. We asked the front desk staff and they were kind and offered to have someone come and fix it, but we weren't able to get the issue resolved before we left.

Very close to the main train station. The hotel also has great access to transportation that takes you to the city center, and grocery stores and corner shops and restaurants are all around the hotel. There is 24hr reception, they have some goods and alcohol available for purchase, they have currency exchange, and you can get transportation passes from there. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was amazing! Great variety, clean dining area, super nice lady managing the breakfast service.

RECOMMENDED!

I WOULD BOOK THIS PLACE AGAIN WHEN I RETURN TO PRAGUE FOR ANOTHER VISIT.

Excellent service and accommodations! Just what we needed to recuperate after a long day of travel before the second leg of our trip. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and our room was meticulously cleaned, comfortable, and charming. We took a short stroll down to Lavicka, based on their recommendation, and had an exceptional dining experience. The breakfast spread was fabulous and we loved their cozy dining room. The room that I booked for three people was spacious but has a terrible smell, like old and mold, the towels has holes and also there is not descents restaurants around if you want to eat.very uncomfortable specially if you want spend four days in the city.l as soon we saw the room we looked for a different hotel. Close to the main tourist points and we found a really great hotel you can walk to the central station, also super clean and very confortable, and modern.

I came with my family to celebrate my husbands birthday on Prage. This hotel was a great choice. What I loved the most is the attention to detail, everything was sparkling clean, the towels and beds smelled like clean, everything was clean. The beds and doors in the room didn’t have uncomfortable sounds (in a family trip this counts). The buffet breakfast was one of the bests we’ve had, with again a lot of attention to detail in the food. The beautiful ladies at the front desk are so nice, and efficient. Definitely would come back and recommend 100%! Thank you hotel Golden City! Keep this amazing service and care for your hosts.

I booked the single room and assigned to the top floor with an attic ceiling which was quite nice and very spacious with easy access via the elevator. The orange color scheme and Scandanavian style furniture was very pleasant and the bathroom was like new.

The tram stops are very convenient in front of the hotel with direct routes to/near the train station and old town. The Czech style breakfast was very enjoyable. There are also several walk-in (to-go) food places near by.

Some trivial concerns: the refrigerator a little dated and some noise from the nightly tram but these wouldn't be deal breakers for me to stay again.

Very nice property and enjoyable stay. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was well maintained with comfy beds and practical bathrooms.
Breakfast is ok, not many hot options and we had scrambled egg that was cold? Not sure if that was the intention but we didn’t have any more.
The staff in the breakfast room could have been nicer, often turning the lights off and packing up before the advertised breakfast end time.

Overall however the hotel was very nice and if you don’t mine a slightly odd breakfast then its a pleasant stay.

One thing to note, the coffee making facility is just a kettle and cups. You will need to find a spoon as we didn’t have any in our room so maybe something they could add for future guests. There is a lidl just down the road that you can buy Tea and coffee for your room.

The hotel location is great with the tram station immediately outside the door so it makes getting into the town incredibly easy and we found buying the 72 hour pass was worth having as it gets you on all transport.

Overall I would recommend this as great place to stay while in Prague

Unfortunately we didnt have a good stay...the hotel itself its ok...staff members are lovely ...we book 2 nights stay and we weren't able to sleep both nights due to next door rude guests parting into early hours in the morning ...first night... despite complaning to reception and them intervening they continued to party and disrupt othe guests..the second night same guests decided to drink, shout jump from beds knock on our door and hide and ring constanty our room's phone .....receptionist did contact them to stop but that made it worse and they put hairdryer on at 1 am and shower and fan just to disturb us...this went on till 2 am!!!very disappointed...may be the hotel should have offered us a different room or have security there to kick them out after so many warning .....we sadly are never going to stay in this hotel again ...

Very nice man who checked us in, helped us and gave us tips etc, room was basic but clean, bed was very comfy, shower was good, sheets were not changed though when we put the sign on our door asking for the room to be made up, we only asked once in 5 days so they could have given us clean sheets. Only having a restaurant for breakfast but not lunch or dinner was a disappointment, as there weren't many alternatives close by for food, which opened late. The collection of drinks at the nearby tram stop each evening was a bit of a concern, but not really a problem. Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and only 3 tram stops from the centre of the city

We had the two room apartment for our family of five. It was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and filling. The staff were very helpful and proactive when it came to transportation to local sights (even selling tram tickets at the office). Parking can be limited so reserve in advance, else parking at a nearby hotel can be arranged with the staff. Highly recommended for families.

The single bedroom was extremely small. Fortunately I stayed just two nights. The toilet in the bathroom was facing wall so close that it was really difficult using it even if Iam really slim.
Breakfast was good for three stars. More cooked food would be great such as bacon.
The location is good. Just a bit noisy as my windows were facing a main road with trams and drunkers.

It’s too far out of Stare Mesto for a casual midnight stroll, but the metro stop just down the street (lines 9 and 26 take you straight into town or to the main train station) is really convenient. Rooms are cramped and the fourth floor is an attic that has you bumping your head constantly. WiFi is terrible and so is breakfast. Nearby restaurants aren’t very good. Relatively cheap, though.

Hotel is within easy reach of the main railway station on a tram line with services running all night. Staff were super-friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. The email follow-up and pre-contact regarding check-in was very useful. Decor a little dated but hotel very clean and comfortable. Smack bang in the middle of Prague 3, which is a great neighbourhood to explore, and one feels very safe there. I had a very early check out and it was no problem at all. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

I stayed here twice in the same week, an easy journey by tram from Flora Metro (two stops) tram stop very near to Hotel. I had a single room on my first stay. It was clean, small but well equipped with fridge, microwave, tv. Not a great deal of space but for one person for one night it was adequate. On my second stay I had booked a double room which had far more space to move around in and was also well equipped. Noise from the trams was a bit of a nuisance and closing the window helped but made the room hot but there was a desk fan to cool things down. Air conditioning would have helped.
Breakfast was good, well provided with cereals, fruit, meat and cheeses etc with helpful staff, although the dining area was on the small side.
Helpful receptionist and a useful tram timetable fixed to the reception counter.
On my second stay I asked for and got a one hour extension to the check out time for free.
It was easy to get around from the hotel but the immediate area itself was a bit run down, lots of shops selling cheap beer which attracted a few drunks around the tram stop area. An Albert Supermarket about 5 minutes walk away.

Very very dirty. Housekeeping did not change bed sheets during my stay. Who knows if they had even changed it from the previous person either.

Breakfast was only cold food (except for some elastic hot dogs). The room itself was okay. There was no air con, just a fan.

The toilet was a nightmare. The sink and the toilet were ridiculously close to each other. It was hard to use the toilet as you would be physically blocked by the sink.

I think the family rooms are meant to be better, but at least from my experience the double room was not great.

Very close to tram stop for city centre site seein

We had room 11 a large family room, with plenty of space, it had a a separate kitchen area with kettle microwave and fridge. Great for making that early morning cuppa. Take your own tea and coffee and buy milk from a store a short walk near the tram stop. The TV lacked a remote but we managed to change channels on the TV itself. Shower was very clean modern and quite adequate. I'd certainly stay here again especially good for families with children. The only negative was no English cooked breakfast but that didn't bother me, plenty of cereals bread cold meat and cheese typical of continental style breakfast.
