Extremely noisy. People were drinking and yelling until 2 am. The little hut we stayed in shook every time the Neighbors banged their door or an airplane took off. It smelled musty. Very close to the airport which is convenient but not if you want to get any sleep. Not suitable for families.

Staff came in early to clean other beds and disturbed my sleep. They need to change the mattress pads also. When I lifted my sheet there was hair, stains and crumbs under the sheet. Glad they had fans, with global warming the heat isn't going to get better.

My only reason for the low score was the lack of AC. I was absoltuely drenched in sweat and it was almost hard to sleep at night. Breafkast was appreciated, and the outdoor area is pretty awesome, also the tourist tax is incredibly low here because it is outside of Barcelona proper, though you do have to travel a bit by train, luckily the station is not far at all.

Literally a fantastic location with regards to the airport. Serviceable via bus PR1 (Terminal 2 and 1) and Metro line 9 and regional rail line R2N.
Burger place recommendation is exceptional and the prices are decent. Overall friendly Catalan place

Could use improvement but offers good shelter

My stay was extremely short, due to overnight layover. Proximity to the Airport is a plus, a 15 min walk to hostel from nearest metro (subway) station. Neighborhood is clean and had a safe feel even as I walked through it around 10 PM. The facility is a bit dated, with resonant acoustics but within acceptable sanitary standards. There is an ourdoor yard with bar stand of sorts. I encountered a black rat while making a phone call in the yard at night. I understand they are commonplace in many cities, but as I am not too fond of them to say the least, the factor was a major spoiler. Breakfast area is shared with small common room, comprised of fireplace, two sofas and some chairs as well as ceiling high shelves filled with books. Breakfast was simple (milk, cereal, variety of juices, apples) but offered a good start for the day. If having to stay overnight again, I may consider this place but only if no other comparable (price wise and amenities wise) options are available. If you are not too demanding this hostel offers a quiet and safe environment during your stay in Barcelona

The reception staff were super nice and friendly! I arrived at midnight and someone was there to check me in. The beds were very comfortable and so we're the bathroom facilities. Much more comfortable than hostels I have lived in the past in Cologne and Paris. Will definitely recommend as its very close to the airport.

It's a nice place to stay if you want to be close to the airport, but it's not very close to any tourist sites. Amenities are pretty basic, but the price is very reasonable, the location is very quiet and the service is good.

Amazing wonderful place

I loved my stay at Mucha Masia. The receptionists were welcoming, informative, friendly and eager to please. They made my stay more pleasant. I especially liked the location. 10 min metro ride from bcn and a 5 min walk. Surrounding area was full of restaurants and nice walks. Its also a great value. It was my first time in a hostel and enjoyed it so much I rebooked it again coming from SFO. I highly recommend it

Cute hostel with a great vibe and an awesome backyard with open air bar offering food and drinks too. Bunk beds have curtains to give you more privacy. Hostel is a few mins walk from bus and metro stops too, easy to get to the airport from there. I’d stay there again! :)

The yard is cute. The beds are ok with cute curtains. Plugs for each bed :) Friendly staff. The kitchen is quite dirty. The dish rack is nasty and the fridge is a disaster. Bathroom door does not lock. Small things are broken. Close to public transport.

A ‘rural refuge’ set in the urban sprawl

My stay was delightful! The hostal is easy to reach by train, bus & metro, being roughly a 7-minute walk from both the train station and metro on the one side and the airport buses (day & night) on the other. The place is spotlessly clean in all areas. The ‘recycling’ theme used in both the public areas and the rooms gave them character and a warm, rustic feel and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of the private rooms with a double bed, which was very comfortable. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable and everything works. Wifi is good. All toilets and showers are shared with the two dormitory rooms and were kept perfectly clean. Towels are provided but remember to bring your own shampoo/shower gel. Breakfast is simple but adequate, consisting of Catalán tomato bread with chorizo, fresh orange juice and tea. There’s an extra charge for coffee and other items. The lively bar in the garden is open till 10pm, at which time the gates are locked, but the night staff are always on hand to open up for late arrivals.
I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay here and look forward to staying again when I’m in the area.

Was very happy when I arrived, was made to feel at home right away. Staff are super helpful and friendly, kept very clean, nice garden with hammocks has a nice chill vibe in Barcelona, great for anyone doing a short stay in the city, great location. I will happily stay here again and recommend to others.

I did not like everything. No air conditioner, when you take a shower the water goes all over the place, breakfast was very poor not like suppose to be in Europe, if you need something different you have to pay. Shuttle was not a shuttle, because it means a taxi that you pay. But a hotel stuff was friendly and helpful.

The receptionist is a great guy, he helped us from the beginning, guided us and gave us every help we needed. The hostel itself is pretty nice, the area is quite and peaceful. I only had one issue with the room as there was no conditioner and the window was facing the wall so it was really hot inside and we couldn’t sleep well. Our stay would’ve been perfect if there was a conditioning but unfortunately there isn’t.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They were very responsive to my emails before my arrival which made me feel very comfortable with this location.This was my first hostel stay and it met my expectations. The location is off the beaten path near the airport, which was my goal for my early morning flight. It's only a few blocks from the train and metro. It's 10 minutes to the airport by taxi. It was very quiet and well maintained. I recommend it.

Great reception, however that was the high point.
No wifi, asked other guests and they didn't have WiFi. Asked the owner and he said it all worked.....perhaps he was on the staff WiFi. Anyway, no WiFi. Noisy, until 05:20 I know because I checked my watch when it went quiet. Shortage of toilets/showers. In fact the shower area had only a misted glass door for a unisex shower area. No changing area. There was another shower downstairs which offered improved privacy.
Breakfast was okay, very basic. Nice touch was free tea
Considered staying 2 nights, glad I didn't.
Area is great, superb transport links.
I have stayed at another hostel nearby, far better, with a policy - silence during the night periods. Disappointed with Mucha Masia.

Quiet convenient hostel near airport

I stayed in the private room at this cozy little hostel by the Barcelona airport. The bed was super comfy and the staff friendly. Very convenient location just outside the city—one stop to airport. Make sure you catch the right train here though, many zip right past the El Prat de Llobregat station. The small town had a beach of its own and a nice quiet pace.

A good place to stay under budget and near the airport. Clean room and facility. The person at the desk waited for me even though I reached quite late to check in. Only reason I am not giving this a full rating is that I had booked this room for the sole reason that it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle, however when I asked about it I was told that the local buses and trains ran at the hour I was looking to travel (6am) and so they wouldn't be providing a shuttle. That is false advertising and wouldn't fly here in the US at all but I guess all cultures are different.

War eine angenehme Zeit..
Nun Frühstück ist nur Saft und Snacks. Kein Brot! Kaffee gegen gebühr.

Es ist nicht sehr weit von der Bushaltestellen und Bahnhof deshalb gut erreichbar!

Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr nett.

Nun zu den Nachteilen:
Keine Klimaanlage! Nur Ventilatoren.
Fenster musste offenbleiben und dadurch viele Mücken im Schlafsaal
Kein richtiges frühstück.

Mein Vorschlag:
Es sollten Möglichkeiten geben Gruppen zu bilden mit anderen reisenden z.B die Stadt zu erkunden oder Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen.
