Not a great location, not close to anything. Room a little worn out, peeling wallpaper. The only room they had for us was 2 floors, so we had to go down metal stairs to use the bathroom. Very hot and AC wouldnt stay on. Disappointing.

Overall appearance was very good. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast options were good but not great. Only one coffee/hot water machine made for long waits while other guests worked out what they needed. Our room was a strange shape. Power outlets were all on one side of the bed. The big problem was that the room window was looking directly into the dinning area. Felt very intrusive if we had the curtains open.

Disappointed in the bar, it was only a few shelv s behind the breakfast bar! Should not be discribed as a bar as we thought we could go and have a drink and sit in some comfy. Area in the evening!! Unfortunately this was not how it was!!

My stay was a delight. The location is perfect, nestled on a quiet street yet just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Old Town Square, making it an ideal base for exploring Prague. The hotel's design might feel a little dated for some. Bathroom had some ventilation issues. My room was clean, bed comfortable however the pillows weren't adequate and needed additional which were provided upon request. The staff were helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient central stay in Prague.

Prague is a walkable city. From this hotel to the center squares about 12-15 mins walk which is very convenient to catch nearest metro station republikanin 9 mins and central bus location in 18 mins walk.
Now about the hotel: its a good concept and modern. The receptionists are very nice and helpful and communicative.
I asked for a quite and room without any problems. The room was quite but u can hear people talking in next room and the flush of toilets especially in the night. The problem was no internet in the room that i was given even i insisted for a room without problems. The technician came but didnt give a solution and the problem remained. I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. I had work im commited to so without internet this hotel is zero. The receptionists said there is no other room to give. A simple stupid mistake like this makes the hotel equal zero.
I cant explain really the feeling that i have and the loss in my job that i received.
Maybe in other rooms all is good. But in the room that i got 507 this is stupidity and careless. Over all this is not a 4 stars hotels.

Stayed here for 2 nights and overall had a good stay. The bed was comfy and lots of storage space. The hotel itself inside is clean and modern however it is out of the way from main attractions. The area is not very appealing, seems quite run down and full of graffiti. If you’re looking for a quieter stay this is the place. Breakfast was average, not many options. Local mini-market down the road selling low-cost items.

About 15 mins walk to old town,5 mins to powder gate and jewish quarter.lovely white stuff toiletries in room so no need to bring your own which was good.staff always friendly with a hello whenever you entered or left hotel.breakfast was good .Close to river for a more scenic walk straight to charles bridge 15mins.

The hotel is in a good area and nice enough. But service wasn't great. We tried a couple of times to get a a drink at the bar to be told there was no beer or wine. Not the end of the world, but after running a half marathon it was just what we fancied. The breakfast suited me with yoghurt, fruit and pastries etc, but i think it was quite sparse in choice. Good value for money though.

⚠️ Bed Bug alert!
Our long waited vacation has been ruined with bed bugs in our room.
Woke up at midnight to severe burns and rash on my arms. Lights on and saw the bugs on the pillow. Looked on Google and learned about bed bugs. Caught one and showed to front desk. They gave me the next room saying hotel is full and nothing else can be done.
Found more bed bugs in this new room.
We could not sleep until morning.
In the morning the front desk manager said he will change the sheets and did not see bed bugs himself.
Next night same problems. I took the pillow with bugs to front desk. Showed numerous bugs I killed in napkins. Videos. No sleep for the second night. Despite staying awake bites on arms and neck.
The answer was ‘nothing we can do!’
Our long waited Christmas market vacation is thus ruined.
Yes hotel location, decor, breakfast etc is nice.
But they come with bed bugs!!!! Beware!

Bathtub and sink was blocked, fuses for chargers weren’t in a convenient place (non next to the beds), Wi-Fi was good downstairs but not very good upstairs (Wi-Fi was only good on the tv but not on the phone). Breakfast area was very cramped and unable to access food easily and would have to wait in a queue to get breakfast. Apart from that everything else was good (cleaners were good, beds were comfy, staff were helpful and welcoming).

The breakfast was nice. The front desk people were nice and accommodating. The rooms were a little small and the bed was not very good. The shower spilled a bunch of water due to no curtain or sliding door. You also need a fitness room. There was a sign but no room.

I liked the staff, the breakfast and it was quiet.

the employee that greeted us and checked us in was nice, the luggage storage is right next to the counter and is available for everyone to take. we walked into a room full of dust, had to ask to move to another room because we were coughing and having a hard time to breathe. also the room was very small. we got upgraded to the Deluxe room which was much bigger. we could hear the people in the room next to us, the floor was dusty and dirty so we could only walk with socks, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were completely flat and the bedsheets were stained. the ceiling is low and cracked, we had spiders webs all over the room. breakfast is very limited, definitely not as pictured. the hotel is in front of an abandoned building, so it’s very scary at night, and it’s not really close to anything. we had to walk over 15 minutes to the Palladium mall and to the Metro station, and around 10 minutes to the closest bus station. we had to check out early and move to another hotel because the conditions were simply unbearable.

Great hotel in quiet but handy location

Wonderful hotel in great location near Republik square so super handy for walkiny/getting bus or tram routes, but tucked away so nice and quiet for sleeping. Reception staff were very friendly and gave a very warm welcome. Good breakfast included. Only complaints: walls a little thin, could hear tvs going at night, also beds were very comfy but the worst pillows we've ever seen- no support! Would definitely still stay again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day-stay in Prague! As we wanted to do plenty of sightseeing, we picked the hotel for its convenient location and we were not disappointed. Our superior double room was compact but comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was included; there was a good selection of food on offer every morning.

Make double certain you have the right MOODs hotel

Comfortable bed! Good ac and windows that open. MANY breakfast choices, all good. Pleasant staff.

BUT be very careful that you know which MOODs Hotel you have booked. I didn’t realize there were two of them. If I had not reserved their shuttle from the airport, I would have taken us to the wrong hotel.

The hotel is nice and not a bad location. Perhaps a 3 minute walk from the intersection with Dlouha street, and a further 5 minutes to the old town.

However the room was a little small and the hotel is perhaps in need of a bit of refurbishment here and there. Fittings like clothes hooks were hanging off for example.

Great stay, great breakfast, and good location. Close to a running trail (few hundred metres away); close to old town square (10-15 minute walk) and good neighbourhood restaurants (Czech, Indian, Vietnamese, etc.). Overall, recommend the MOOD. The one downside was very weak Wi-Fi in room - could be location of room, but tried to stream movie before sleeping and had very difficult time staying connected. If you anticipate watching anything to unwind, recommend downloading before arrival.

The staff were really informative about where things were in the city and how to get to them which was really helpful! The massages we had were also fantastic.. I would definitely recommend! The rooms were lovely and clean. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast selection isn’t great (i’m an extremely fussy eater and vegan so it might just be my opinion!)

Well run little hotel, great position!

We stayed at Moods for 3 nights to explore Prague. Really liked the area: nice and quiet, away from tourist crowds, but only a few minutes' walk from the major old town sights and roughly half hour walk over the bridges to the Castle. The hotel was really well run: young, friendly staff always at reception to say hello and help with any queries, room was beautifully cleaned every day, bed was really comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was good quality: a reasonable selection of hot and cold dishes and a coffee machine for cappuccinos/lattes as well as filter coffee. We never had a problem with it being too busy, as the opening hours (6.30-11) were very long. We did find that the default setting (22C) on the room heating was a little hot, so had to keep opening the windows as there was no way of turning it down (the aircon only operates in the summer apparently). Just to warn: a lot of the rooms (ours included) look out on to the central courtyard which contains the breakfast room (a modern glass box structure). We were initially worried that everyone eating breakfast would see straight in to our room (particularly as we were on the ground floor), but having done a thorough testing (lights on and off) we can reassure potential guests that it is not possible to see into the bedrooms from the restaurant! It does take a little getting used to, though....
We found the rates (in early March) very reasonable, and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Unpleasant stay. Our group had 5 rooms reserved. All rooms had no working AC - difficult considering our visit was during their “Indian Summer”. Hotel provided an electric fan which barely worked. The coffee cup provided in the room was used. Front desk person was polite but spoke little English. Could not understand a simple request for a luggage rack. When they finally figured it out, was told hotel doesn’t provide any. Not sure of criteria used for hotel classes but this place definitely didn’t feel like a 4 star. I would say 3 if at all, more like a 2. Many other options closer to the city center with better amenities. Breakfast was very good.

Nice hotel, dissappointing room, great city!

We stayed at this hotel in September for 4 nights. We arrived in the evening and check-in was straight forward and pretty quick. We were shown to our room, which was on the ground floor. This is a decent size room, however the window looks straight into the restaurant area. Which is basically a glass outhouse. We tried to change rooms, but the others available were not as big, so we decided to stay with it overnight and see how it was in the morning. Unfortunately, it was no better, even though you couldn't really see into the room, from the restaurant, you felt over looked and this resulted in us not really opening the curtains. So it's a pretty dark room unless you have the lights on.
We didn't spend much time in the room, bit when we did after a long day walking around siteseeing the WiFi was pretty unusable and the only English channel available was CNN. I read this in a review before, and thought why would you even mention it, but seriously when you can't access the internet , that's all your left with. I now know everything there is to know about the Brett kavanaugh incident!

Moods is lovely, and the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts are good, and the bar was very reasonably priced.
The shower was off taps from the bath, and as such went a bit hot and cold.
All in all, a great little hotel, in walking distance of everything.

Excellent staff, very warm friendly welcome. Allowed to check in at midday. The room was stylish but few cosmetic flaws. Nothing major.

The big issue for me was the aircon didn't work. It was 20c outside but felt so warm inside. I spoke to reception and understand half the hotel doesn't have functioning AC.

The breakfast was nice, but fairly limited options.

Found the room too hot. Room overall spacious and clean though walls shabby. Booked a Thai back massage - no introduction with masseuse about pressure points etc taken to a dark room and her technique was questionable as she was straddling me (?) did not feel relaxed. Gave feedback to staff, had to pay full price nonetheless. Overall wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great area

We had a better than expected experience at Moods. The staff are very helpful and gave us great tips for restaurants and bars and were always keen to help with anything. Honestly, didn't have any complaints at all except that the room size is slightly small for 2 people. But the decor and the fact they are immaculate makes up for it. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are only looking for bed and breakfast type of stay as there is no restaurant in the hotel.

The reception staff helped me get €45 back from the airport taxi company that I had mistakenly overpaid (double check the currency you are paying in-I thought I had given Czech but I had slipped a €50 Euro note in along with the Czech banknotes!)they persevered in ringing the company for me, I was very grateful. The hotel has a modern twist and is quite minimilistic, the breakfast was good. The beds were very big and comfortable.
The location is good, not bang in the middle but approximately 5-10 minutes
Into the town square (and past a gorgeous traditional coffee shop!)

The hotel was great. We arrived early after long journey (airport delays) and they were friendly and made sure we had a room we could check into straight away. The reception staff were very helpful in explaining things to us and helping to orientate us in the city. The room was clean and spacious with a good bathroom. The shower was a bit too powerful though and got a lot of the bathroom wet! The hotel is down a nice quiet street but close to the river and the attractions of Old Town.

An excellent hotel which would have received a higher rating, but on arrival there was no room available and we were transferred to another hotel in a different part of the city - in an area which we had consciously chosen to avoid. So one night of our three night stay was disrupted and we had to then deal with luggage the following day. When we did eventually stay at Moods, the room was very good (although basically furnished)and the location was exactly what we wanted - close to the centre and to good restaurants.

We had the room on the ground floor - which was quite dark. However, the room itself was spacious and the beds were very comfy, as we had been upgraded!

The hotel was slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist streets but they were easy to reach within 5/10 mins walk

The front desk were very helpful and polite and were willing to help in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Breakfast buffet offered a great selection including scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausage, bacon etc as well as a continental selection.

Room very small, breakfast was good even though breakfast staff were very miserable but then we found that most of the people in Prague were! All attractions can be done in a day. Most pubs allow smoking so as a non smoker we avoided the pubs.. Not plesant! If you don't tip they are not happy and tend not to speak to you, prices are not cheap. Do not buy street food as my partner had food poisoning from a piece of uncooked ham which cost £18!!!!!

A Friend and I stay for a long weekend and our friends where jealous as we all booked different hotels. This was the best and at the best price. Will be staying here again when staying in Prague.

Modern boutique hotel

The hotel decor is quite modern and the location is quiet yet within walking distance to old town. However, for the price I'm paying I would expect more particularly for the breakfast which only has the same 5 hot dishes everyday I.e. baked bean, hot dog, bacon, sunny and scrambled egg. There are other breakfast items like breads and fruits.

The hotel is very comfortable and modern. The room required some minor maintenance (broken wardrobe closure; loose bedside shelving), but the amenities and design are very good. Breakfast offers a wide selection. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Our visit to Prague

We spent five days in Prague, hotel Moods was vety good. They had a great breakfast with a good variety of food. The staff saved us money on booking daily tours. One staff member of special recognition was Silvie. She was very pleasant and helpful.
