New hotel so everything is clean and tidy. Only downside is that the drain in bathtub is very slow - if you have the shower on full blast you'd be standing in ankle-deep water for a long time.
Otherwise the hotel is in a quiet location, still within short walking distance to the main old town. All the staff are excellent.

The property and staff were excellent. Room was clean and well decorated. The one negative was the breakfast that although good, was overpriced in my opinion especially when you can get a good breakfast for much cheaper, just as good and close by. We paid almost $90CAD for two people for just one day. Also, the service was somewhat lacking. One morning we never had a server approach us with a menu so we settled for the buffet. The second morning we had to ask our server if we could order after waiting for some time.

Amazing hotel.

Hotel Maximilian really looked after us on our stay, they set the room up for my husbands birthday with a lovely welcome card, a bottle of Prosecco and a cake, it was a really amazing touch and made the holiday complete!

As for the room it was spacious, clean, very quiet and the air con was great considering the 30c heat outside!!

A Perfect Stay at Maximilian Hotel, Prague

From the moment I arrived at the Maximilian Hotel, I knew I had made the right choice—again. This was my second visit to Prague and my second stay at the Maximilian.
Nestled in the heart of Prague, it’s just a short stroll to the iconic Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square, and the winding cobbled streets that give the city its timeless charm. Being able to explore Prague’s most treasured sights without the need for transport made the experience all the more seamless and enjoyable.
But what truly elevates the Maximilian is its staff. Their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness are absolutely exceptional. From front desk to housekeeping, every interaction was marked by grace and genuine care. Their manners are second to none, making you feel welcomed and valued from the moment you walk through the door.
The hotel itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail—from the elegant furnishings to the calming ambiance—is curated with an evident sense of care and sophistication. My room was spotless, beautifully appointed, and provided a perfect sanctuary after days spent exploring the city.
One moment in particular captured the spirit of the Maximilian. I stayed over my birthday weekend, and without any mention or request, the staff surprised me by leaving a lovely birthday cake, a bottle of champagne, and a a personal note in my room. It was a deeply touching and memorable gesture that speaks volumes about their dedication to guest experience. 5 stars!!

Perfect location in Prague. You are a few minutes walk from the town center, but far enough away that it's very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Location is very central, so walking to all most all other sights was also easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed for my brothers stag party, the hotel was very clean and tidy and the service was fantastic! There’s a great coffee shop within the hotel which served great coffee and pastries. I will definitely look to return with my wife. The hotel is in a great location on the edge of the main square and 10 minutes walk from the shopping Centre.

Room and location were great. The hotel is new and modern. My room was quiet as it was off the street. I never heard noise from my neighbors. The only issues were the pillows were thin and not very comfortable. Also, the heat wanted to keep the room at 23 Celsius and would not get lower than that. I ended up turning it off and the room did not get cold, even though it was in the low very cold in January

Very nice room on a quiet street but very walkable to the old town square and great restaurants. Very helpful staff with 24 hour coverage at front desk. Very nice breakfast complete with cooked to order eggs. Only issue was that the AC did not work great. Not a huge issue as it cooled down nicely each evening.

The location is fantastic - everything is an easy walk. The square with the hotel open is quiet but one street away from hustle and bustle if you want it. The staff were all amazing. I’d stay here again definitely.

So so happy that we stayed here during our short trip in Prague. The hotel is stunning, very chic and stylish but yet very comfortable. All the staffs are amazing and friendly. Great staff and a cool little cafe. Do not stay here during the summer if you value any type of AC. We got lucky with a little dip in temps during our stay, but the rooms are hot and the AC doesn't do much...you'll have to order a fan.

Very nice and well located hotel

The best about the hotel is its location. It is in the very center yet just a little bit away from all the crowds. The stuff is very young and eager to help. I did not use the buffet for breakfast but used à la cart menu and the food and the coffee were excellent.

Great stay in Prague

The hotel was really perfect!! Close to everywhere. Great location. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and clean. Lots of room the unpack, which is very important to me. We had two rooms with connecting door, which was great for our kids. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also good and comfortable. Our room had a bath and the room next door had a shower (I would prefer the shower). Important to know that the bathroom door does not close hermetically (if it is import for someone). Our rooms were without breakfast, so the took breakfast twice for a charge. The breakfast was very good but rather expensive in my opinion for prague (550 czk per person). Overall- highly recommended!

The hotel is in a very convenient location to the sites in Prague. The breakfast at the hotel was good and so was the service. Our biggest complaint was the bed wasn’t comfortable and the pillows were completely flat. The lowest setting on the air conditioning was 72 and we were hot and uncomfortable while we tried to sleep.

Our stay was brilliant, we stayed in a room on the top floor which was very spacious. Unfortunately our shower overflowed as the drain was broken which caused our room to flood into the hallway, the hotel were really quick to fix this and gave us a drinks voucher to apologise

We had a great stay at Hotel Maximilian! After an error with our reservation the first night, the staff was extremely accommodating and generous and made our stay very comfortable - complete with complimentary airport transfer, breakfasts, and spa treatments. The location of the hotel is perfect for a first time trip to Prague, and is very walkable to most major sites. We would not hesitate to book Hotel Maximilian again on future trips to Prague!

Hotel Maximilian is located in the center of Prague's Old Town. Everything is accessible by either waling or using public transit. The rooms are comfortable and every detail has been considered. It is quiet and relaxing. There are multiple restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my mom’s 70th anniversary here, it was an amazing experience for her.
She received a cake and wine to celebrate and the staff made my mom feel so special, I am deeply grateful with this hotel and I always come back to this hotel when I visit Prague again.
