The apartment has no air conditioning and no fan so it would be impossible to stay here in summer. We stayed here in Sept and it was not comfortable to sleep.
Also it is called Old Town Square Apartments , but our apartment was over 1km from the Old Town Square.

I was truly amazed but the appartement we got.
We are a family of 6 and with 4 children’s and we got a very spacious appartment, with beds for everyone. The place look well taken care and newly renovated.

After reading some comment I was a bit fearful of getting a bad appartement that doesn’t look like the photos since you only get to know the check-in adress while booking, but I really love the place, maybe we got lucky, maybe there some unlucky, but it wasn’t our case.

The view of the window was nice, the pub downstairs have very good food and beer and you can walk everywhere in minutes. I which we stayed longer as the appartement was really confortable for ours family’s

Nous étions 3 et la petite cuisine était trop petite pour que nous puissions nous asseoir tous les 3 à la table. De plus, étant situé au 4e étage il faisait extrêmement chaud (pas d’air climatisée). Finalement, quand nous arrivons à la réception et qu’on nous annonce où est situé notre appartement il a fallait faire une dizaine de minutes de marche avec nos gros bagages dans la ville.

Our apartment was on the 3rd floor with no lift. The apartment was spacious. Only problem is the stair grading which is obviously steel will pose a serious problem if you are over 5ft5. It is a serious accident waiting to happen AND it will happen. My friend got a nasty gash on his forehead. Also the WiFi is 3 out of 5.

This is a bait and switch. The pictures are great but the flat was nothing like the pictures. I rented a 2 bedroom. To them it meant a two bed room. There were no bedrooms, just two beds in the living room. The wooden floors were so warped I got a two inch splinter in my foot and had to wear shoes inside thereafter. To top it all off, while not far, the flat they assigned me to, which they would not reveal until the day of check-in, was not even technically IN Old Town. Then they charge me $40 for a ride from the airport when Bolt cost only $20 on departure. This place is crooked and should be avoided.

I would give this a 0 star rating if I could! THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM! The apartment is completely different from the descriptions. None of the photos in the apartment were shown on the website, even the address was different. Their customer service attitude was awful, with 0 communication, and they refused to reply to my complaint about the photos not matching the description. Apparently many other guests encountered this as well! The lift was broken and the apartment was on the fifth floor- the top of the building. We had to carry 23kg luggages, with an elderly and 3 children. This is absolutely outrages. Honestly avoid this property at all costs!!! Don't fall for their descirptions/ photos because they're not even the same! I would never have booked this property for the expensive price if I knew this would be the condition. We were woken up by the sounds of trams every single morning at 6am and could not sleep until 3am because the noise insulation was terrible. We only knew the location was differnet when we explicitly whatsapped them and asked how come the location seemed different on the welcome email and Expedia website. The fire safety system was insufficient and we were, honestly, very lucky to leave the apartment alive.

The hotel was in very poor condition and not at all what I expected from a listing on Expedia ! The room and hotel was in serous need of renovation ! The outside of the hotel was noisy , making it difficult to sleep ! The photos on Expedia did not match the terrible condition of the room ! In the bedroom the only lighting was a cheaply made table light and homemade light stand ! The couch looked old and dirty ! I expressed my displeasure to the staff which would not answer the phone ! The only way to communicate with them was by texts ! I never met any of the staff ! Check in was all done thru texts ! I informed them that I was checking out at 10:30 the following morning and that I wanted to be fully reimbursed ! No , one made any attempts to interview me by phone or otherwise ! The next morning after I checked out and rented a room at another hotel I received a text ! The person offered me a different room ! When I texted my displeasure the person stated that since she offered me another room she was not obligated to return the 5 days paid in advance ! I feel as though I was scammed but think that I was not the first person ! I would never do business with this hotel again and would advise everyone to go elsewhere !

The old town square appartments is basically scam organization.The pictures on Expedia website have nothing to do with the appartment they gave me. The rooms on the website look bright with kitchen tables, chairs and so on. The one I got was without any daylight or outside windows or chairs. A dark stinky place that my daughter was scared to get in. When I said it is nothing like the one at the website. Not very friendly pearson at the front desk told me that it meets the standard. When I asked him to define standard. He said there is a bathroom, 4 beds and a kitchenette. When I tried to compare with the pictures from the website. He litterally said it is only for advertising. And recommend to ignore unbearable smell, a combination of the stale air, cigarettes and uncleaned toilet. They said somebody can clean the toilet at some point, but since we needed it immediately after long flight and the appartment is15 minutes walk from the address on the website, we decided to clean it. They send you a suspicious app to checkin to supposedly save your precious time in Prague, although it is litterally one signature. But, they don't tell you that you have to walk to the appartment 15 minutes after check in and to drop the keys at the office, as the only way to check out, another 15 minutes in the opposite direction of the airport.
If you get attracted by the pictures of these appartments, just skip it, as they have nothing to do with reality and they don't care, it is nonrefundable.

Property was clean and very well located however it was extremely basic on amenities. Staff were very quick to reply to questions and beds very comfortable. No shower gel, no washing detergent for clothes, only one dishwasher tablet and no chopping board. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 nights and 4 people. We were told aircon cost extra 20 euro per night. This was not explained prior to booking. A high security deposit also was taken and our apartment was not where reception was.

The location is a few blocks from Old Town Square (just a couple minute walk). We were on the top floor, which because of the heat, necessitated keeping the windows open. Loud street noise (until 5am) made this impossible. So we were hot. This room would be unlivable in the summer. Thankfully it rained a bit and kept things a little cooler.

A tourist trap, and one we fell right into. Extremely disappointed.

We had multiple safety concerns, when we called to discuss we were asked to message via WhatsApp instead (so the staff didn’t have to discuss our concerns in front of new customers) with a promise of resolution straight away. 2 hours and multiple phone calls later, we were eventually offered another apartment (which was declined as it was in a completely different area of town, 30 minutes walk away with luggage).

While there were LOTS of small inconveniences, our safety concerns included:

- No smoke or carbon monoxide alarms, despite the apartment page showing these were fitted

- A wardrobe that fell onto our 7 year old child when they opened the door

- A shower that scalded our 10 year old after suddenly changing temperature, and was nearly unusable by adults for the duration of our stay

- A window from the buildings communal hallway directly into the apartments shower cubicle (frosted glass, but still….)

The response from staff when we raised these concerns? “Nobody else has complained before”

Despite there being nearly 60 photos of the apartments online, none of them were for our apartment- and I can understand why.

The wardrobe issue was “fixed” by placing a screw through a bit of unrelated plastic (a pipe and angle measure guide), the wardrobe backing and into the wall.

We wished we had spent our entire stay at our previous accommodation (Three Golden Crowns Apartments- fantastic experience)

Apartment was very old, up 70 flights of stairs (209+) when the lift didn’t work plus for 2/3 nights we had either a domestic screaming match going on outside of our apartment or some crazed person knocking on doors and trying to gain access to our apartment, which frightened the life out of my wife and 2 young children. The operators didn’t want to have anything to do with it. No remedy and bad communication. An incredibly horrible experience, plus incredibly expensive

The property was not a 3 bed as advertised. We had to check in at a separate property which was 8 minutes walk from the reception which was not easy with 4 kids at almost midnight. I was given a flat on the 3rd floor with no lifts, fan or air conditioning and the property managers refused to move me when we were harassed by a shop owner in the same property. Very disappointing and I will not recommend.

Additionally, although we paid for a 3 bedroom, it was a two with a bed placed next to the couch in the middle of the living room. Don't stay here - its not even worth the cheap price

The apartment was impeccable, it was not the same as the photos, since it corresponds to a series of apartments that are managed, it was located in a quiet area and had everything required for a stay without problems. The only drawback was that it was more than 2 kilometers from the check-in place and the information provided at the inn was perfectly deliverable via email or WhatsApp, thus avoiding being from there to here.

Overall a good experience. There were only 2 minor issues:

1. The line to check-in at 2:00 was long and slow, causing some of the patrons to lose patience.

2. We asked for some extra sheets but when they were not delivered within 24 hours we needed to ask again (which worked).

On the plus side, the apartments (we rented 4 of them) were clean and spacious and fantastically located near Old Town Square.

The staff was friendly.

Our special request for our 4 apartments to be located near each other was accommodated.

Great apartment in a great location. The hot water didn’t work. After 2 calls and about 2 hrs the maintnance guy showed up to fix the hot water. He confirmed it was broke and said it would take an hour for the water in the tank to get hot. Unfortunately, we were checking out and all needed showers before we left. 6 adults and 2 children took cold showers. I asked for a partial refund and was told no because it was an “unforeseen technical difficulty”. I hope others have a better experience than we did. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Great space, location, value

Loved spacious unit, laundry machine in kitchen, lots of fans to keep air circulating. In heart of all the action but somehow not too noisy. The keys to door are a bit tricky as the lock tends to slide around, but the unit itself was secure. The elevator is very small and it’s platforms are between floors, so there is always a half flight of stairs to walk with luggage no matter which floor you are on. This is not a complaint, just a heads up. We really loved our time in Prague and the price we got during a very busy holiday weekend was s tremendous value.

We also would have appreciated knowing in advance that after checking in with Reception in one building, we would have to carry our luggage across the square and use Google maps to find the actual unit where we were staying, because the map we were given was very scant.

Fantastic apartment. Everything you need (and more) within very easy reach of main tourist attractions. Equipped with everything, including coffee machine. Huge bath. Rooms are massive. Felt very secure. Just incredible for the price, no just incredible period. I liked it a lot!

Slight negatives (very slight) all the bedrooms ran into each other so you must walk through bedrooms to get to the bathroom. There was some noise at the front at night from drunken English people, but unfortunately this seems difficult to avoid in Prague. Not the apartments fault and they were very helpful when we asked to be accommodated as far away as possible from the stag/hen parties.

We stayed at this property last weekend and had two rooms (11 adults). The website suggests air conditioning is available upon request but they were not available. They are in the rooms but don't function. They had a few small fans but it was sweltering and not enough for the warm weather. Also, while the location is convenient to the city center it is right on top of a very crowded and loud bar that was open until 4:00 in the morning. The floor on the first floor apartment shook and vibrated due to the loud noise. You had to keep the windows open to even breathe because of the heat and the music, shouting, cheering, breaking glass, screaming would keep you up all night long. So do not come to this place if you need sleep!

Really wonderful flat in a great part of Old Town. Sure, reception is central to several locations, so you will do a bit of walking. Old Town takes care of that if you want - you can book a transfer through them to drop you at the room. Great fast service. Big place with a lot of room for guests. We were there with our family (kids and grandparents) and it was perfect.

Great central location yet quiet, grocery and eateries nearby.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Helped us arrange a/c during a mini heat wave when day time high was 92. Cost was $15 per day per unit. Staff also helped us arrange sfe storage of luggage in their office as our train leaves at midnight.
The only negative is, our apartment was 7 minute walk from check in, negotiating luggage on cobble stone streets can be tricky, but we were aware of this based on earlier reviews and communication with hotels, so no surprise

Good overall, the apartment is huge for 4 people. The only issue is the drainage in the shower room is very bad, there's water leaking out to the living room after using the shower room. We changed to use the bathtub but the shower head is not under control ! These should be fixed ASAP.

The apartment is not very close to their reception office, should arrange transportation for going to the apartment as it's difficult to walk on the stone road with heavy luggage.

We did have some inconvenience when we were asked to shift to a separate building after check-in, around 500 mts away from the initial location. Though it was a great location, it caused some inconvenience to lug our bags all the way! Would've been good if we were informed about this in advance. Also, the first morning we experienced a power cut for a few hours which set us back by some time

Nice and comfortable apartment

The Apartment was nice overall. True to its name, it was located right beside the old town square. Despite the apartment only has a single bathroom, the building has enough room to fit at least 8 people. The sofa is also really comfortable to sleep on. The reception is open 24 hours and they are fluent in English with a friendly attitude. You can put your luggage at the reception before checkin and after checkout so you don't have to carry it around the city all day.

Good Value Great Loacation

Very good value apartment in a very central location for Prague sightseeing, midway between Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock. Right in the heart of the bustling restaurant, tourist area but surprisingly quiet in the apartment itself. It was clean and roomy (except for the bedroom which was tiny) and probably better than we expected for the money. Reception staff (in a completely different building) were good in arranging very reliable private transfers to pick us up at the airport and also take us to the train station on departure. Great service overall.

The apartments are allocated centrally and guest have to go personally to collect the keys and deposit them back at the time of check out. IN all probability you will have to walk for 5 1- min with luggage to reach apartment. The apartments do not have lift and higher floors are allotted. Be Careful !!!!

In prague it is advisable to stay away from city centre and commute through public transport.

This company owns multiple apartments, and we got a super dumpy one. Bed was hard as a rock, walls thin as paper and of course loud neighbors... And the shower was only a bath.. We had to hold the spout over our head while we showered.. Expensive for how bad it was.

Our room was located far from the office and was difficult to find with just verbal instructions and a few quick scribbles on a map by the woman who checked us in. It would have been nice if the directions to our room had been printed in advance. Also, the room was located in a residential building and the directions to getting into our room was unclear (again, just verbal directions). We had to go all the way back to the main office in order to get someone to come show us where our room was in the building ( it was behind a door that wasn't labeled with any door number). that was very frustrating after a long day of train travel.

We stopped for a few days at the end of August. We felt the apartment was overpriced for what it was, there had been little care in considering the layout and it just needed some love to finish off what would be an otherwise impressive apartment.

When they say 2/3 bedrooms, this actually means 2/3 rooms, every room, including the lounge, will have a bed in it. So you have to wait until everybody is up before you relax.

Our apartment was close to the centre, but right above a nightclub....so the 3am music pounding was annoying.

And the key thing is annoying, you have to walk 800m+ with your baggage before and after your stay to collect and return keys.

They cancelled my reservation without notice

We reserved through hotels.com and received an email confirmation. The day we arrived to the hotel we were communicated that our credit card didn't pass through and that we didn't had a room. We couldn't even book one because they were \"full\" and we were left standing there without a solution. I understand that credit card issues might happen, but what really bothers me is that they didn't sent an email to try to fix it or at least informed me. After a long travel the least thing you want to hear is that you don't have a room

Missing information

Checked in at one location, then had to walk 10 mins to where the apartment really was. Couldn't get into the building - the hotel staff failed to mention that there was a sensor on the keychain to get in. Then the elevator only fit one person at a time. And when we finally got into the room, the ceilings were so low I had to duck. The hotel staff also failed to mention the wifi name and password.

Great apartment

The apartment was great and amazingly spacious. Just a minute away from old town square. Only thing we didn't like was that you could hear everything from the main hallway and there were some late arrivals and they were very loud, which you could hear every word they say. It would be great if the owners could address this issue as otherwise it's an amazing accommodation.

Great apartment. It was spacious and had everything we needed. There were three of us, and it was perfect. We each had our own room. The location is excellent, right by old town square and a few cool bars/clubs. Highly recommend.

This 2-bedroom flat is in an excellent location quite close to the Charles Bridge. What it lacks in amenities like bath gel, face cloths, soap in toilet room etc, it makes up for in space. We extended our stay for three additional days.

Great stay in Prague

The apartment was perfect. It was newly renovated, clean and had everything we needed. The location was excellent!! Less then a block to old town square. Prague is beautiful city. We had a great visit. The only negative was that the internet went down in the apartment. Aparently it was old for the whole street so it wasn't their fault.

Overall great accommodation

We recently stayed at the Old Town Square Apartments for 5 days, 4 nights. We arrived at an ungodly hour of 2:30 in the morning due to flight delays. GPS did not recognize the address. Thank goodness for roaming cell phone and a 24 hour reception area. The reception person directed us and we were really just a block away. Our apartment was on a different building from the reception office. Unfortunately, we got a 4th floor apartment without a lift. This meant we had to drag 4 big luggages and a baby stroller on a 4 flight of stairs. (Just remember if you are thinking of stayimg somewhere in Mala Strana or Old Town, it is highly likely that there would be no lifts) My family almost looked for a different hotel but. We checked out our apartment and fell in love with it. We actually got upgraded. Instead of a 2 room apartment, we got a 3 room. When we finally walked out of the apartment,we realized that we were just 100 m away from the Old Town Square. It was a perfect location. To sum it all up, aside from the creaking floor and lift issue, it was a great accommodation. I would still highly recommend this place!

Great for people on a limited budget

Place was clean and close to Old Town Square. The place did not have an elevator but one was being constructed and should be available in the next few months. Good bang for your buck. Lots of room. It will be better when elevator is in operation. Staff was great.

Perfect apartments if you want huge beds!

Really lovely apartment, beautifully furnished, newly redone, everything almost brand new. Felt quite classy. Great location two streets off the main square. Large bedrooms, kids loved having a huge bed each! Only downside was the noise level from the pub downstairs as it meant closing the windows at night, at least until the children had gone to sleep. But very safe and clean area, lots in favour of it.

Fantastic location

We loved this place, stayed with our 3 daughters, so close to both the main town square and the supermarket, endless places to eat within 2 minutes walk. The apartment had everything we could want, Internet, tv, washing machine, dishwasher. We will return here thanks

Strange, but very good.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The place was odd layout with two bedrooms and a bed in the kitchen. Would accommodate many guests. High ceilings. Bathroom could use a tune up, but the entire place had character and was very unique. Great location as well, by old town square. 1 block away. Best spot in Prague. Would definitely stay here again.

everything is perfect but problems with wifi

I very much liked the hotel, there were three of us and they gave us a 3 bedroom apartment with the kitchen. The hotel is located very close to the city center. The only problem was with the wifi internet, it took us a while to overcome it.

Don't stay here

The rooms were filthy, the check in took 2 hours, the rooms did not have the amenities listed - no internet, no kitchen, no living room. Absolute nightmare of a place. Great location though.

Stayed 3 nights from 27-30 Dec.
6 adults.
Very old property.
2 bedrooms x 2 queen bed with 1 more extra room converted from a living room, total 8 beds.
Clean.
Only one separate toilet without any basin for handwash??
No toilet within the bathroom.
Therefore it’s definitely a stretch to host 8 pax.

Location is very strategic.
Noise from the pipes constantly was very disturbing for light sleepers.
Check in and check out was smooth.

Booked airport transport with only €55 per trip for 6 pax is godsend!

Overall I recommend for this price.

El personal muy amable, pudimos entrar antes al apartamento, que si bien estaba un poco mas alejado de lo que contratamos, era mas amplio y con todas las comodidades que necesitabamos. La zona muy tranquila y centrica. Ademas, pudimos hacer el check-out mas tarde por un extra razonable. Muy satisfechos.
