The hotel was lovely, staff are kind however when a problem arises they don’t know how to fix it.

The TV in the bathroom & bedroom were not to standard/ not working.
We made this clear to them & they did not bother to fix it or care nor offer some form of solution!
We pay the price for all of the amenities to work but they didn’t, therefore we should’ve got either money back or move our room.
Regardless, hotel was lovely … I’d recommend if you have a fully operating room!

Breakfast was good, they had a large choice of “buffet” style food & a menu with options for French toast, omelette & more.
Location was fantastic, really close to old town & all the new shopping centres.

So we loved this hotel. Superb location minutes away from the old town square. Unique stunning rooms with supper comfy bed and great bathroom. Double sinks, huge bath and shower. The breakfast were outstanding with really top service. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this place. Some great little restaurants around the area also.

The hotel is in a really good spot, easily walking distance to most places & if you want to go to the Castle it’s just a short walk to the tram stop and pence to catch the tram. We did this and walked down to Charles Bridge and back.

The hotel was clean and the staff were brilliant. The breakfast was excellent and so much to choose from, I had omelette with fresh smoked Salmon on the side. They had freshly squeezed orange juice which was amazing. The staff were perfect!

Annoyingly the restaurant and bar are not open on Sunday’s & Monday’s. We arrived on Sunday & left on Tuesday.

We stayed in room 45 on the 4th Floor and it is a lovely room & very spacious. The bath is big and the walk in shower was perfect especially the rain shower. The bedroom had an excellent large comfortable bed but unfortunately the room was hot and couldn’t cool it down without opening a window which was then noisy, the maintenance guy had a look straight away but turned the room stat up? The reception guy turned it half way but it didn’t make a difference. The fridge was good but very noisy especially when trying to get to sleep. The room was just by the lift which again was noisy. Note, If you want to watch Netflix you need to have your own account!

I was impressed by Prague and hope to return and for sure will repeat Buddha Bar Hotel. Close to Old Square and very accessible to any point of interest. Big, clean and well maintained rooms. Fantastic bathroom (shower & bathtub). Friendly staff at front desk, valet and restaurant.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The location is great, close to shopping, restaurants, bars and old town. Breakfast is good. My only complain is the pillows. It is very soft, almost flat. I need 3 at least. Otherwise, highly recommend this place.

Stayed 7 nights end of June 2025 in a Premier room. Service is attentive, excellent breakfast consists of half buffet (pastries, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, soup...etc) PLUS order to cook items from menu; keep in mind that this is a boutique hotel. Decor and in-room features are unique and very original with Asian theme. Area and hotel are quiet despite being in the historical area. Metro, trams, modern multi-level shopping mall within 5min.walk. General atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing (lights are dimmed, relaxing music...) A great choice for travellers tired of big hotel chains and who want something different and upscale.

I’m afraid to tell you how good this hotel is because it books out so often. The rooms are magnificent with a full deep tub and the spa is always empty so you have a jacuzzi and steam bath to yourself. It’s within walking distance to all the sites in old town! Enjoy!

Great vibes!

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now in a few years. The design is unique and the location is central making it walkable to major destinations in the city.

The spa suite has a hot tub and steam room which are super relaxing and a welcome break after a long day out!

when I made the reservation Expedia indicated that I will be entitled for the bottle of wine and early check in and late check out. This is as basic as it gets. I did not get the drink and they give me hard time for the late check out claim that I’m a Silver member and not Gold member which was not indicated when I made the reservation. It’s very unfortunate that this information that Expedia provided when making my decision was not accurate and misleading

First, let me start by saying that the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Paulina was an absolute joy to interact with. The property was absolutely magical, from the well appointed room with great amenities, sheets, shower/tub, comfortable bed, french door refrigerator, electric blinds, ambient lighting, spacious size, etc., etc. Also, the restaurant was wonderful and transported you to Thailand, Tibet, Bali, etc. with it's wonderful cuisine and great decor. I loved the property and will seek out other locations worldwide in my future travels. Bravo!!

Weekend in Prague

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of the old town. The rooms are great and extremely relaxing.! We had a hot tub in ours. Breakfast was super, a mix of continental and hot food, would definitely recommend the fried eggs with bacon :) after a dot of exploring Prague would certainly the day in the Buddha bar downstairs - fantastic decor with chill out music vibes . Nothing bad to say about this hotel , also thanks to the main man at reception for all your advice and friendly service, well done - would come back again for sure

We loved the Premier Room's terrace, although they should change the way the door to outside works with the curtains (impossible to open doors with curtains closed).

Also, we specifically chose the Premier Room (with terrace) because Expedia had it listed as such, and an outdoor area was required for our trip needs. Luckily, i contacted the hotel directly before our stay to confirm that we had the terrace, and come to find out that there is only ONE Premier Room which has a terrace (and it needs to be booked directly through the hotel).

When we checked in, we were informed that normally to get the room with the terrace, one must pay an additional upgrade fee.. Luckily Honza waived the upgrade fee (thank you Honza).

Still not sure if its expedia or the hotel handling it this way, but be aware if you require a terrace (they seem to oversell the one room, so i would call them to confirm)!!!

Overall the stay was epic, the Buddha Bar Hotel and its staff is awesome, and we will always stay there when we goto Prague!!!

Great hotel in the Old Town

Really enjoyed my stay at this great boutique hotel. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the Old Town Square and other attractions of central Prague. Rooms here are a good size and well equipped with everything you need form a hotel room. The bathroom is a good size and had a bath and separate shower. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The Buhda-Bar hotel in Prague was 10/10. The service was excellent. The Premier room was lovely, everything was comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious. It was very close to everything & the metro was a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend staying @ this property.

Good hotel - couple of technical issues

The hotel is very nice with a lovely room and breakfast. We had some issues with Items not working in the room. After reporting it to the reception nothing was done about this for over 24hours until I had to complain again and then 2 out of the 3 issues were sorted out.
Other than that hotel is Unique, the rooms have a good vibe and the location is amazing

My Stay in Prague Old Town

The Buddha-bar hotel is an excellent place to stay for a tourist in Prague. We booked this hotel to give us an extra day to explore Prague prior to a week long Elbe river cruise to Berlin. It is only a few minutes walk from the Old Town, but located sufficiently far from The Square to avoid the noise, hustle&bustle of that area. The hotel itself is quiet and the room we stayed in was very comfortable with good facilties. As the name suggests the decor and fittings are Buddha themed which lends a certain ambience and peacefulness to the hotel. The bathroom had an impressive modern free standing bath with separate walk-in shower with a very large headed rain shower. The shower should be fitted with a door as it tended to flood the bathroom floor when used. Our package included an excellent breakfast provided by by some pleasant and friendly staff. All-in-all we were very pleased with our selection of this hotel.

Luxury hotel with unique upscale furnishings and amenities like nespresso machine, chiller drawer, terry robes and monster tub. Breakfasts included were marvelous. The light switches were not that intuitive, very few english speaking TV channels,,,, the ambience at the bar was exotic and cool but drinks were very skimpy on the alcohol. Food and service was great but prepare for a big bill.

This hotel was amazing. Firstly the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was truly epic. I needed a soak in that huge bath after all the walking around Prague I did. Hotel was literally a stones throw from The Old Town Square making it ideal for seeing all the sights. This hotel didn’t disappoint and you definitely get what you pay for.
