Our stay in Prague was very nice. The accommodation was amazing. Plenty of space to spread out. Our check in was a bit disjointed. The person at the desk seemed miserable to be working. We were able to store our luggage while waiting for room so that was nice. There is alley access to the check in desk so it’s a bit difficult to locate. The neighbor apartment was a heavy smoker and parties, but thankfully the expanse of the room allowed us to limit the noise and aroma. This place is in a superior location for experiencing all Prague has to offer! Highly recommend!

Let’s start with The Cons: The entrance to the hotel is where the smokers from Hooters hang out so if you’re going in or coming out, you will get smoked. The noise if you want that cool night while you sleep, is horrendous from all the party goers on the street and the garbage trucks come at 11PM. There’s also a smell coming from the bathroom, kinda like raw sewage. There’s inadequate cooking pots or pans. And room cleaning is extra. We stayed for 12 nights so we had to keep the room clean. Be care with the shower floor, it is very slippery without any anti-slip mat. The Pros: IT IS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. Everything is walkable. The bed is comfy. There’s a budget restaurant downstairs that serves great food and beer. Not sure if I will stay in this hotel again. The smell is off putting unless you get scented candles like we did. And I don’t why the smokers have the smoking right in front of the exit door. I give it the 4 stars for the location.

The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and quiet.
However, there were no instructions for the washing machine and it took a long time to figure out how to work it and we gave up on how to turn it off.
Also we were looking for transportation assistance from the office and they didn't open the office on time.
Also the car service they booked for us didn't show up at the airport.

Absolutely fine for the price. Met our needs. Check in door codes did not work. Shower assembly fell off the wall. No barrier between shower and the bathroom so that the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. Insufficient number of towels and pillows but great location and spacious. No staff on site.

Fantastic apartment in centre of city

Stayed for 5 nights mid-February in the Exclusive Apartment, 1 Bedroom, Terrace, City View.

Check-in was done in advance of arrival and a code to access the apartment was provided upon completion. This went smoothly and we had no issues with the code. Didn't meet any staff in person but they were quick and helpful when contracted through hotels.com messages.

The apartment is in a great location right next to the old town square and major sights. Very easy to locate. Our apartment was on the 5th floor and thankfully there is an elevator and it was working. It only went up to the 4th floor, so we did have to walk the last flight but this was not an issue.

The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, with everything you require for short or longer stays (we were huge fans of the coffee machine). The room was a comfortable temperature in February although I can see this being an issue in the summer (there was a fan and an old looking AC-unit but we can't comment on their effectiveness).

The view was nice from some of the windows, but the view from the terrace was restricted.

The only minor issue we encountered was noise. You will hear street noise which is to be expected and this will be worse at weekends. We didn't mind this as much, however we were woken each day by church bells - again, not too surprising given the location but they are loud and seem to go on forever!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly consider it again in future.

The place was great. Spacious. Central. Problem checking is as the code we received didn’t work and we ended up in a totally different apartment.

Which was great until the mornings when construction was going every day. Veronika finally did help us to move so we had quiet for 2 of our 6 nights.

The property is in an excellent location in Old Town, right near the square and many tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants and shops. The property was more like an apartment rental than a hotel. Staff only there 10am-3pm, no housekeeping, and you get a code for all doors which sometimes was hard to work. Also, the elevator was broken so we had to bring our luggage up 3 floors.

Excellent loc just steps away from time square
Loved the proximity to everything.
My kids enjoyed the stay whenever they feel tired after wandering around they came bk rest few mts and went bk again
Bonus farmers market down stairs & mini Marts too to get necessary stuff
Loved venue cafe - all healthy options literally next to the property
And Starbucks and many places to eat and chill

Checked in late night coz our flight was delayed and emergency service answered & provided access to property

Booked this property coz it has elevator as we have huge suitcases for party of 4 and as it’s very close to time square but elevator was broke for our 2 nights stay and was not addressed …we ended up carrying all luggage to 3 rd floor and bk down

Refrigerator smelled horrible so v didn’t end up using it coz it’s not at all in good condition

Tried communicating with front desk but there was a student that day and she didn’t cared much and didn’t have enough knowledge about surroundings too

When asked for grocery store she pointed very far away ones but in fact there are a lot next door that we found on our walks.

Emergency service personnel is more responsive than local personnel at Checkin /reception

Checkout is seem less & lady at reception is nice that day

Overall we liked the location than anything else lots to do outside

What a beautiful location and room! Very clean! Nice and easy check in and coded rooms so no loosing keys! Bed was like sleeping on air! Had everything we needed in the room. Couldn’t have been happier! Would and have recommended this lovely hotel! Was within walking distance of a lot of things we wanted to do.

These apartments are in a great location and are well maintained BUT the communication and check in process was not well done. We saw MANY people having access code issues EVERY DAY. Since the office is not open all the time, it means calling for assistance. Lots of the young people trying to check in didn’t have Int’l phone service and were frantic just trying to get in. Apartment doors can be opened remotely (or new codes given if one were to max out their attempts.). Unfortunately on our second night there, about 7pm, 3 people with suitcases entered OUR apartment. They were provided OUR ACCESS CODE! When the office opened the next day I went down to get a new code issued. I was told “oh we’re sorry” and given a new code. They were able to see that “I came in at 6:51pm”, but that was when the 3 strangers came in with MY code. ACK!
Less crucial, listing showed blow dryer, there was none. I called to ask for one to be brought over and was told “we are not a hotel, you can go down to the office tomorrow”. I did and while there reported the refrigerator was dirty and had not been cleaned. Someone came to clean and delivered a blow dryer.

Pre Christmas break with friends

Absolutely central for everything, apartment well equipped with everything you need, beds very comfortable. The accommodation was very warm and we had to turn it down a tad on arrival. The key code was a bit confusing to start with but once shown piece of cake. Very enjoyable stay with 4 other couples in adjoining apartments and all all us would definitely recommend these apartments .

The apartment is really spacious and located in the heart of Prague, you can do a lot of sightseeing on foot and spend wonderful evenings in the city centre. On the other hand, it can be quite noisy at night because of the nightlife downstairs. What I missed was some entertainment for kids (TV offered no channels to watch )

I had trouble finding the property. The sign was way too small. Eventually, I figured out how the addresses worked in Prague and it was at the correct address. The \"back\" entrance had a better sign. They provided a washing machine, but no drier. I guess you hang the clothes to dry. Otherwise, the place was great!

I went solo, the kitchen still had old used wine and water bottles in the cupboard, which was concerning since it’s covid. Also, as I was marked as a solo traveller, I was given a single size duvet and one pillow on the double bed, very odd. The spare in the cupboard was not possible to use as it had no sheets on it.

The apartment was very nice, in old town, close to everything. The manager at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Well secured entrance. My only issue was with the fabric chair seats that were filthy. I did let the manager know and she said they would be sent out to be cleaned and that the cleaning ladies should have told her that they needed to be cleaned. Beds comfortable and clean.

Beds and bedding terrible...not deluxe as advertised. Sofa bed terrible! Service is horrible. Don’t ask for extra bedding or extra hangers as they won’t give them to you. Situated next to Hooter’s Bar so very noisy. No soap in the room, had to ask for it. Wifi drops off.

Close to old town. Location is accessible to public transport. But the location is very noisy till 10PM due to the presence of Hooters bar down stairs. Air conditioning will be switched off if the temp goes above 22 deg C. So have to open windows and hence gets noisy again.

St. Havel Residence Romantic Couple Trip

My wife and I had a lovely stay at St. Havel Residence. This place is very large; way larger than what we needed. The location is great as far as being near many attractions. It is located above a Hooters restaurant, so the fried food smell is sort of strong at times. The apartment was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There are nice plants setup throughout, and the natural light and windows are great. Very nice place.

The venue is great, very central and convenient if without a car. It was not at all noisey in the evening which we thought would be an issue on arrival as its very close to a number of bars.
The big disappointment was the comfort and equipment in the apartment was far below what I expected for the price and star rating. There was not enough utensils or crockery, although that was rectified when I raised it. There was no sofa chair. In all the marketing pics of the living spaces it shows sofa chairs but there was non in the apartment and an almost luxury look and feel. They claimed a Sofa would not fit but I have been to plenty of much smaller apartments/hotels on my travels and they have soft chairs. My kid sat on pillows on the floor to watch the TV. There was also very few bedside lights, dressing tables, mirrors or any other comforts. The word \"sparse\" would sum it up. Not at all like the marketing pictures. This was a real shame as the staff were good, the location great, the space of the rooms was great but the kitchen spec, comforts and homeliness was completly lacking. The premium cost I would question for such sparse accommodation.

1. In a dark small alley with unnoticeable signboard- difficult to find it and was wore if you arrived at night
2. Reception kept insist heater was working until we demanded for a check (twice) then they found it was faulty- no hearted in our 1st night in the hotel
3. Floor cracked and is very squeaky
4. Charged 25 Euro for room cleaning, but then addressed it is the charge for final cleaning, they don’t provide daily cleaning.. moreover, no receipt even we asked for. Said would email receipt but till now a week was passed till no receipt
5. Reception closed before 17:30 on Sunday, only open at 9 am in the morning.
6. Intercom in the room was not working at all... hardly to reach reception for any assistance

We had a very enjoyable stay at St Havel. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, and having a kitchen was a bonus! The little comforts provided were appreciated too - coffee capsules, cleaning products. I enjoyed having a deep bathtub, and 2 available toilets. The location was superb - right in the heart of Old Town, within walking distance of fabulous restaurants and shops.

St havel residence is perfectly located in Old Town with lots of eatery and amenities around. Very spacious, comfortable and quiet environment where tourist attractions are just within walking distance. The only set back is only the wifi is a bit slow and it drops most of the time. We have a pleasant stay and it is highly recommended.

A great fully equipped apartment in Old Town

This is a great apartment to stay in if you are in Prague. The check in went very smoothly and Katerina was very helpful with information and being accessible for any questions. Getting to the room was easy, just a short 15 min walk from the train station. We never used the subway while in Prague the city is quite compact. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, so finding some great food and beer was never a challenge. The room was bigger than expected, a nice surprise. The bedroom was very comfortable and had its own AC. The pull out bed in the living room was quite large and fit my two boys just fine. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances you need (large refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, etc.) The room is next to a Hooters, but the noise at night was never an issue. Overall the room was very comfortable, quite, and if I was to travel back to Prague, I would book here again.

We arrived at the hotel in the morning.
Katrina, the manager of the place welcomed us, and throughout our stay in the place she always helped, gave tips and guidance and made it interesting and enjoyable to have fun there.
The place is very clean and tidy, with beautiful apartments and suitcases in everything that is needed to make our stay at the place pleasant.

Not a pleasant experience...

The apartment is located centrally but is not exactly easy to find especially if you arrive after 6pm. It is located in a building where restaurants are pubs are so it is convenient but is also noisy.
The apartment has no air conditioner and was glad that i was there in May when the temperature is cool. However, you will need to open the window for ventilation and the noise is actually unbearable and bugs gets into the apartment as well even though there is mesh curtains to keep bugs away. Therefore, I will not recommend staying here in summer. The bed is rather hard for most people and not is comfortable for me even if i'm used to hard bed. If you have plans to get back late,like after 12am, most of the doors leading to the apartment will be locked. We managed to get in through Hooters restaurant which was cleaning up b4 closing to get to the apartment so I'm not sure how to get to the apartment if we had gotton back later if Hooters is close. Getting to the apartment is also a challenge.... you need to get through a wooden door which you open with a key then lead to a lift which you could only access to your floor with a key to the lift. I think it is good for security purpose but we had problem with the wooden door on the first night we got back after dinner. The key to the wooden door didn't work and after many tries, we had to call the lady who assisted us with the reservation almost close to mid-night and we would be stranded is she didn't pick up. Good thing she did.

A fabulous deal, a great price, perfectly located.

We were amazed at the size and furnishings of the apartment. A separate bedroom, kitchen-dining living room, bathroom, and entry foyer. A full kitchen, a real bed for two people that wasn’t two mattresses shoved together. AC. A very nice, bathroom with a large shower. It was all there, and in a location convenient to both the old town and Wenceslas square. This will be our home whenever we return to Prague!

Very Good Stay

Very good location in Old Town and in walking distance to most attractions, shopping and eating places. Room was comfortable with very high ceilings. Wifi was good. Katerina was very helpful with information about attractions, where to exchange money for the best rate, location of the nearest grocery store, arranging transportation to airport, etc. My only complaint is that St. Havel Residence never responded to the 3 emails that I sent prior to arriving.

We loved this apartment, it’s very spacious, clean and really light. We liked belong able to sit out on in the courtyard. It is so close to the centre of the Old Town. It has good equipment etc but just be aware if there’s 4 of you you might need to ask for extra equipment. ie loads of plates but only 4 mugs and some cutlery only had 4 which would be annoying if you were cooking. There’s a cafetière and coffee maker, you need Nespresso pods, we texted Katerina, contact number we had and she said the wrong ones so wasted money buying them.
We arrived late at night so the taxi driver let us in. I know there’s lots of info online but it would have been really useful to have some info of places to visit and maps etc. As it’s self catering we didn’t know there was a reception as it’s not a traditional hotel layout, We only found out there was a reception after we’d been there 4 days. When we said this to Katerina on reception on the last day about maps etc she said that usually she gives it when people book in, but as we arrived so late the reception wasn’t open. Why didn’t she leave some in the flat and she could have told us where reception was. Also when we left she said there was a £25 service charge to clean. We hadn’t been told about this, no-one came into clean when we were there, so it was just an end clean.
Whenever we messaged Katerina to ask anything, ie food shops or coffee pods ;) she was very helpful but it would never been useful to have the info as above

Location, location, location!

My husband and I were so happy with our stay here! We stayed for 3 nights and the location could not have been better! There is no need for taxis because all the restaurants, bars, and attractions are in walking distance. My husband and I love to go out and didn’t mind the noise at times from Hooters (restaurant downstairs). Our apartment was very spacious and we had everything we needed for our stay. Katerina was so helpful and so friendly the entire time we were here. After getting up very early (3:30am) to catch our flight to Prague and a long day, Katerina went out of her to have our room ready for us at an earlier time than expected. We would definetly stay here again in the future!

Amazing place, but not a hotel

Huge, amazing and beautiful appartement, we loved all about the place. Equipped kitchen, big rooms, confy beds, correct soundproofing. The location is amazing, just within 1-2 minutes of walk of the old town square, right in the middle of everything you might want to visit for a few days in Prague. One big letdown is the fact that this is not a hotel: the manager, as kind as she is, can't always be there. We unfortunately bumped into a closed office when arriving for the check in. This is both frustrating and stressful, when you expect to get your room after a long journey. It also caused problem for the check out, as we had to leave when the manager was there. I would highly recommend this nice place, but make sure to know what time you will arrive and place a call to the manager beforehand.

Comfort Apartment - St Havels Residence

Spotlessly clean and modern apartment a few short strides away from the Old Town Square. Overlooked inner 'corridor'. This was locked at both ends after 10.30pm, with key provided, so felt very secure at night.
Contained washing machine, (which we didn't need, but good idea for longer stays) and a modern cooker. Lovely touches such as plenty toilet rolls, soap, shampoo and shower gel and hairdryer provided.
Huge bed, though a little hard and only one pillow per person - ok for a few nights, but would have asked for extra pillows if stay was longer.
Loads of wardrobe / cupboard space for clothes.
No kettle or toaster in our apartment - used a pan of water instead - worked fine.
Netflix available on TV - great for when we arrived back from a very full day of walking, followed by meal out in the evening.
Top tips - take a map or use satnav when you go out, as Prague is a real maze of streets, and it is so easy to get lost. Took us over an hour to find our way back to the apartment on the first night!
Watch out for one or two cafes 'ripping off' foreign travellers. We got royally ripped off on Wenceslas Square twice!
Old Town Square, though beautiful, is incredibly busy and prices are twice what they are away from here - try the side streets and be prepared to wander a little further if you want to save money!

The location of this apartment can’t be beat! It’s located in the old downtown city center, steps away from the Christmas Market Square, St. Nicholas Church, the Charles Bridge, and the Jewish Quarter. The sightseeing within a mile or two is outstanding, and it’s also walking distance to public transportation, trams, and the metro. It is a bit hard to find, though, so best to ask Kateřina for car service from the airport (26euros). The apartment is a full one br w a queen bed, a full kitchen, and bath, and living area. It’s on the 4th floor but there is an elevator, tiny as it is, it works. There are hundreds, no exaggeration, of restaurants, pubs, and shops w/in walking distance so no shortage of entertainment. It’s quiet, large, has a TV (only a few English news stations), washer, fridge. The barh has a tall tub you have to lift your leg to climb into so maybe not so safe for elderly or small children. The only issues were minor and more suggestions than issues. The bedroom has a built in bed w small nightstands attached w small lamps on the nightstands. That’s it. No other furniture to put your suitcases on, so you have to either put them in the living room on the oversized credenza, or on the floor in the b/r,, which I won’t do. There’s plenty of room in the b/r for another piece of furniture or for those Folding suitcase stands. They need them! Also, disappointed that they have a Nesco coffee maker but no coffee or tea. How many people travel w Nesco pods?

Location, location, location!!

Location, location, location!!! 30 seconds from the Old Town Square. The apartment was quite large, beds comfortable, extra pillows no problem, delivered in 5 minutes, shower pressure great (considering the apartment was on the top floor), very clean and modern, well equipped, wifi strong, air conditioned, just wonderful. Will be recommending to friends and family and will definately be booking for future visits. Katerina was very helpful.

Superb Condition, Spacious and Prime Location

Everything was excellent; the apartment is very clean and spacious, in an excellent location and within walking distance of Mustek metro station. The door for the reception area is approximately across the street from the restaurant \"U Dvou Velbloudů\". The front office receptionist Katerina is very helpful and can be contacted at any time of day by phone.

This is not a hotel

It's not a hotel, somehow I missed that. We are hotel people. Here we needed to clean after ourself, take trash out, like being home away from home. Very noisy staircase, keep bedroom doors closed at night to reduce noise. Beds too soft, not a solid mattress, but 2 that slide from base, 1st time it swallowed me in, living room is very nice and roomy with a view. We love museums but this place more to enjoy architecture and scenery. My cousin said there is no look a like building in Prague, she was right! Young lady is very helpful with ordering transfers, her driver has better rates. She also can recommend good and less expensive restaurants, better places to exchange money, too. Taxi and exchange places take advantage of tourists with fees and unfavorable rates. Tour kiosks nearby have bad English guides, better rent audio guides. Location is great, easy walks to all main attractions, boat ride is very nice. Beer is great, original Budweiser is here! The best beer for us was is in Munich, called augustainer in Augustainer-Keller restaurant not far from main train station! Vienna had great beer, too. In Prague in all restaurants allowed smoking outside. At the end It was a great trip, it was our 1st retirement one. Ended up being a beer tour! Hotels are easier to stay in with 24/7 open desk and service. This place in Prague is different, nice, but not for us. Young lady is very helpful, very very good location! It was a great adventure for us!

Spacious apartment right at the center of Prague

Location, location, location. Our apartment was located right at the center of Prague, less than 5 minutes walking from the Old Town Square and less than 15 minutes walking from the Charles Bridge. It does not get any better than that if you want to be close to these tourist attractions. A metro station (Mustek) is less than 5 minutes walking from the apartment. A plenty of food options are within 5 minutes of walking, at Wenceslas Square and nearby streets. Katerina helped us with check in and check out, and watched our bags on our last day while we strolled through the city. That was very nice. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be at the center of the city and prefer a spacy apartment to a crowded hotel room.
