Hotel was in a perfect location with all tourist spots (apart from the castle) within a ten minute slow walk.

Lots of bars and cafes outside the hotel on the street outside.

Metro just over the road and the tram only a few minutes walk away to take you all over the city.

We felt very safe walking around the area at night time and in the day with no concerns.

Reception staff very helpful although we did find some of the waiters a little grumpy at the cafe/bar and were left waiting for over 20 minutes on both our visits to have our order taken

In all a great stay and I would highly recommend staying here.

5 star location, great hotel.

The rooms are huge. Despite being on a busy street, we couldn't hear any of the things/noises happening and we were on the first floor. The staff was very helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was some trash from a previous guest in the bathroom trash can, but that's okay. We're not picky. The bed was a bit springy and not amazingly comfortable, but it was functional. For the price and location, we were very happy with the facilities. We'd stay here again, for sure.

A perfect hotel in an ideal location

Very well positioned in Wenceslas Square, 100 metres from he Mustek tube lift exit, so no problem with luggage. The reception is adjacent to the restaurant [good food] and we were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the vaulted ceiling room of the restaurant was absolutely perfect and a shame to leave it. A very pleasant stay and should I return to Prague I would be happy to stay here again.

We were on my daughters hen weekend so had 4 rooms and each room was clean and comfortable.
Hotel arranged airport pick ups and we requested rooms close by which we were given.
Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from, especially as we had a vegan in our party.
All staff we friendly, especially lady in dining room - after 1st morning she reserved us the same table each morning.
The only complaint would be the rooms were extremely warm, I asked at reception for a fan, was informed they did not have any but housekeeping came to room and switched off radiator, room most of the time was still uncomfortably hot.

Hotel very nice and fantastic location, great for walking to old town square and other tourist sites. Had a room to the front with a view of Wenceslas Square but room was absolutely silent. Friends had room to rear which had its own lounge area as well. Only had breakfast which was served downstairs (definitely not suitable if you've any mobility problems) and had read reviews re staff, service charges, etc, but had no issues whatsoever. Only problem was we had booked hotel taxi for our arrival and it wasnt there at airport so had to just make own arrangements. Not great start. Mentioned to receptionist on arrival but she didn't seem that interested. Worked fine on return to airport though. Would recommend hotel

A few days in Prague

Hotel is in a great location, breakfast was standard buffet style with reasonable selection, although the glasses for fruit juice or water were very small! Staff were efficient, most greeted us when we came in or went out.
The room was a good size and cleaned adequately daily.
You can hear some noise but when your are in a central location that is to be expected!

Friendly, Centrally-Located Little Hotel

I spent a couple of nights here while staying in Prague for a conference, based on a recommendation from the organizers.

The hotel faces directly onto Wenceslas Square and it's easy to walk from here to basically anywhere in the Old Town. There's also a major metro station nearby, putting the rest of the city within easy reach. It should be noted that, because the hotel is located in a pedestrian-only area, taxis and shuttles won't come directly to the front door, so expect a short walk (about a block or so) if going somewhere by car.

The room was well-maintained and clean, with a modern style. Neither the chair nor the bed were overwhelmingly comfortable but were adequate for a short stay.

I only ended up interacting with one member of the front desk staff; however, she was incredibly friendly and helpful as I found my way around the city.

Finally, take note! Many review sites seem to conflate the hotel with the restaurant located on the ground floor. When I looked, a lot of people seem to have had poor experiences at the restaurant, but this shouldn't reflect poorly on the hotel - especially when there are dozens of alternatives within easy walking distance.

There are two major issues: firstly we were given the keys to a room on the 4th floor where it was impossible for us (or anyone over the age of 5) to use the shower, due to a leaning wall invading the space above the bath.
We eventually were given another room, one on the small side, but after going through some aggressive, intense questioning.
We were amazed that a 4-star hotel even dares to offer you a room where you practically can't use the shower.

The second issue is the breakfast room, which is in the basement (level -2) with no lift serving it. We saw an elderly couple deciding not to bother after seeing the number of stairs they had to go down, and later climb again.

In geral was a good experience. Great location, very near to all touristic points in Prague 1. The room was big and good, but the shower was not clean. The hotel staff was friendly, but we has a problem with the bar. We were in 3 and one of my friends was in the washroom. The waiter said he wouldn't order and bring our drinks before my friend come back because it was to much job to go and back 2 times.

Prague sweat box in handy location

Our room had (I think) a broken water radiator. There were two rads and both were set to snowflake and one would not stop running. With spring temperatures in the twenties it was uncomfortably hot in the room all the time even with the air conditioning on full blast and windows open. Had to close windows at night because of singing drunks on the street. Told hotel staff but the front desk clerk didn't seem to understand and did nothing. Hotel has flakey elevators also and the bathtub has such high walls it is difficult for even a tall person to get in and out of. Would not be suitable for a senior. Super dangerous. Needs hand rails at minimum.

Fairly friendly staff, girl who served coffee for breakfast was very nice.

Cons:
Lobby entrance shabby and you must enter through rows of restaurant tables on patio.
Carpets and arm chair in room very dirty and tons of dust on lighting fixtures.
Terrible noise outside all night long due to gathering of youths on the square. Hard to sleep.
Breakfast was satisfactory but nothing to write home about.
Restaurant prices very high, double the going rate for an expresso.
Breakfast room located down in basement and you need to take several flights of steep stairs, not good for elderly or handicapped people.

How this Hotel is rated as a 4 star I will never know this is 100% a 3 star or 3.5 star at best. Great location, no facilities, very small bedroom and poorly planned Bath/shower as screen was at one end of the bath and and the shower attachment was at the other end. Furniture in the room was limited as only one bedside unit no drawers and a very small cupboard. Very good mini bar etc although this doesnt affect the rating .The room was very quiet but no view at all.Breakfast was very nice and a decent selection of food and drink.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel close to sights.

Our weekend trip started with a taxi to and from the airport organised by the hotel immediately after our confirmed booking, the greeting by the reception staff made you feel most welcome and very friendly.
The room was very clean and spacious with a well stocked fridge with food and drink, the breakfast selection of hot and cold buffet was superb with the staff most attentive.
We ate our evening meal in the hotel restaurant which had the best atmosphere as it was in the cellars, the dinner, I had Beef Goulash with Breaded Dumplings was just delicious and cooked to perfection, we had our after dinner coffee outside under the heaters where the chairs had sheepskin rugs to wrap up in, as it was only 3 degrees, again very atmospheric.
I would recommend the Hotel 'Prague Inn' to anyone who enjoys a sightseeing weekend away.

ıt is just inside the city. Easy walking to everywhere. Breakfast was very good. I really like it. The waiters in the resturant was very nice. Receptionist are not so smiley ones. but they were ok. Rooms is very nice. But in night time it is e bit loudy outside because it is near the clubs but you can still sleep (even Im a difficult person to sleep I could) Hotel is good renovated. They should change the beds infact. It feels me a bit old. And the bathroom they should hang shower curtain or something like that because all the bathroom gets wet after shower. But it was please to stay there. I like it.

Very central at top of Wenceles Square. Watch the buskers from your window yet still quiet at night. Metro from airport 1/2 block. They have the best included breakfast ( North American and European selections) in the restaurant below the hotel with is renovated in several brick rooms dating back to the 14th century. Don't miss it!

Nice small hotel in a great location

We stayed at Hotel Prague Inn for 4 nights from Monday to Friday in mid July. The reception staff were very friendly and stored our luggage as we arrived quite early. We we able to check in at 2pm and were allocated room 106 on the first floor which looked out towards the shop New Yorker. The room was adequately sized for what we required as was only going to be a base for our travels. The old town square is literally 2-3 minutes walk via a couple of different routes, and the powder tower is a similar distance via another road. Despite being on the edge of Wenceslas Square we found it to be fairly quite in the room, in fact the most noise came from the air conditioning unit. The breakfast is of a standard quality from our experiences travelling around Europe to this level of hotel. The staff were all very attentive, friendly, and spoke very good English. Our room was cleaned daily to an exceptional standard as well. We didn'the eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel so cannot comment on that, but it always seemed busy outside when we arrived back at the hotel and went out in the evening. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay in Prague.

Our check in was a bit frought as the receptionist told us she had no booking for us! We had arrived early and were told we could leave our cases go off and look around until check in time in a couple of hours and she would try and sort it out ! When we got back it seemed to be ok and our room was upraded to one looking out on the square. From then on everything was great.

We stayed here for a long weekend break in Febeuary. The location is perfect as its so close to the main square of bars. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel is basic but was perfect for what we wanted and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Would definitely go again!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nts, the hotel was nice. too far from amin attractions. When I got back to LGW to get money out of the ATM to my horror and I couldn't. called the hotel, the recepionist had made a mistake in the bill she had charged the full amount to my card even though I had given her €200.00 in cash which she took she was supposed only take €90.00 off my card, she said she refunded the €200.00 and it takes 3 -10 days to appear in your account which has put my account over drawn for the first time ever. called my bank to see if anything was showing a refund to find out to my disgused that I now have a £50.00 penatly. I am not impressed. dont charge to your room as there was another mistake there as well. pay only in the local currency.

The hotel was amazing. Great room, very comfortable, fantastic bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities - room 402 has a lovely outlook onto the square. Well stocked mini bar and a safe.
The staff, except for a couple in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Reception staff were really helpful. Make sure you book a car to and from hotel direct with the hotel rather than take a taxi then you will get a fair price.
Extremely well situated for all major sites and only 5 minutes into the old town main square.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect Location for touring Old Town

The perfect place for touring Prague by foot. I walked everywhere from here. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. It was safe and clean. On Wenceslas Square, it is within walking distance to Astronomical Clock, Mustef Station, Charles Bridge and more. It was delightful and helped to make my stay both enjoyable and magical!

Great location

The Hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of Prague. The room was a bit small but comfy. Loved the buffet breakfast in the underground cellar!

Vacation in Prague

Location is excellent but access to the hotel through an outside restaurant is not appealing. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was OK. There is no hotel lobby.

Great hotel at the heart of Prague

An amazing location at the upper end of Wenceslas Square straddling the border of old town and new town. Perfect for shopping and restaurants and bars and a short walk to the busy stag-night filled bars and the tourist filled cobbled streets of Old Town.

great location, poor wifi

this hotel with great location, all the visiting points are nearby, shops, restaurants just next to the hotel, breakfast is good, but only the wifi is poor.

Great hotel, wi-fi, and service

Great hotel location. It was walking distance to the Charles bridge and the Ginger and Fred building. A few blocks from the Astronomical clock. Breakfast buffet was superb and the location of the breakfast being in the cellar was also intimate. The hotel service was also friendly and charming. They arranged for a shuttle pickup from the airport and also to the airport. It had excellent wi-fi connection from the room. The staff spoke English well.

Nice hotel

Overall very nice hotel, and great location. Comfortable quiet room and friendly helpful staff. Didn't really make use of the included breakfast - there are so many inexpensive and nice places nearby that I would skip paying for the hotel breakfast next time. Only improvement I would suggest is for the hotel to vacuum the room every day - the floor got a bit dirty while we were there, but otherwise it was very clean and comfortable.

Very central

Being on Wenceslas square, the area was traffic free well placed for all sights. Extremely easy to find from the airport by bus and metro. Good breakfasts and friendly staff. Whilst the area is noisy with loud visitors on Friday and Saturday nights, we found our room on the first floor , overlooking the square, was quiet thanks to the triple glazing, and we had no issues from sound. We had been concerned and even considered changing our room upon arrival, but this was not necessary and we were glad we stayed in the room allocated. In fact the staff on the desk was anxious we had been disturbed by the revellers, but as long as the window is closed it is fine. We even turned the air conditioning off and could only hear singing/shouting as very low, distant noise in the dead of night, certainly not loud enough to disturb you.
