Nice 14 room hotel. Staff were friendly, breakfast was better than expected. Ended up having breakfast every morning there since it was good.

We stayed in room number 2 which exits directly into dining room which was funny, but got used to it.

Small Asian convenience store next door with ok prices but don’t try to talk to the cashier , whom is legitimately crazy or mentally handicap (never quiet figured it out)

Jaromir the primary host is friendly and speaks good English.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in September. The location is just great near all major facilities and sights. The House is full of character with a lot of history. The management were very helpful and polite. Overall the service and standards were great and we would definitely recommend.

The property was nice and breakfast was great. They let us check in early since the room was ready. One downside is there wasn’t a do not disturb if you didn’t want them coming in your room. Staff was friendly too.

Rent the apartment not the dorm room!

Definitely rent the apartment as the other rooms are just dorm hostel rooms with no air conditioning. The apartment is fantastic! The people are so nice and the area is perfect!

This is really nice hotel! In fact ,I would love to stay one more time. I had great time here. My English not really well. I have no idea about hotels.com systems for this booking . I was worried one problem about my stay charge. Because was collecting my reservation 10 nights and got one free night for it.

Great Location especially around Christmas!

Great location, within walking distance of many landmarks and great areas of Prague including multiple of the major \"Squares\" that were a fun around Christmas time. Not right on top of them though so it is quite enough to relax and be able to sleep well. Breakfast was also great. Highly recommend!

The Old Prague House is okay for a family stay. Unfortunately our bedroom had the door and two windows to the breakfast area. So, I had very little privacy and had to keep the curtains closed all the time.

This hotel is perfectly located, a few minutes walk from the astronomical clock , the Charles Bridge, and everything. The breakfast is simple but fresh, ( breads, cereals, ham and hard boiled eggs.The hotel has a part that is a hostel, hence you may use the fridge in the common room if needs be. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. There is no AC, but a very useful fan, although as the window is facing an interior courtyard where all tenants can sit and relax, it may be noisy at night. Bring your adaptor if you come from North america as all the plugs are europeans.

Fantastic Find!

This is more luxurious than expected given that it was listed under \"HOSTELS\". There was a lovely sense of privacy as well. We arrived in Prague by train and found the hotel very easily. It is very close to the Charles Bridge and less than 10 minutes walk from Wencelas Square.The staff on reception were really helpful and offered advice about good bars and restaurants to look out for.

Close to everything and on a budget. This restored old house is gorgeous and completely redone with old school charm to it. I’d stay there in a heartbeat but the staff could learn to greet their patrons and not look at us as if we’re a bother. People working there wouldn’t even say good morning at breakfast, very unpleasant.

Nice hostel and close to Charles bridge

The room is clean and housekeeping every day. Free breakfast is good. Close to attractions.
The hostel check-in time ended at 7pm but we arrived after 7pm. We requested the airport taxi from hostel and the driver waited for us even though the flight was delayed. The hostel made the arrangement with the driver and we got our room key from the driver.
The hostel staff and driver are helpful.
Happy with this trip.

This place is as advertised. It's a hotel/hostel that is clean, safe, quiet and friendly. I had a private room and it had all that I needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok - would suit most tastes. I would stay here again.

PS- 3 minute walk to Charles bridge and tons of food options both street food and restaurants.

Stayed 10 days, grestblocation, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast included, staff helpful, nice restaurant next door and was a small store. 5 minutes from Charles bridge, close to staromestke namesti and orloj, about 30 minute walk up the hill to hradcany. You can get airport pickup and drop off, just ask for service.
Price amazing, why spend more. The only problem at least in room 2, some tv channels were pixelated and really didn't work. Other than that, excellent. Miss talking to the brunette.

Their reception hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00PM.

The hotel is conveniently located in the town and site seeing places are within walking distance. The reception staffs were very nice and pleasant. They provided general information for site seeing. Breakfast was good and as we left early in the morning, they packed breakfast for us.

Loved it!

When we booked this Hotel we expected cheap food, and more or less clean bedrooms.
When we got there we realized our mistake: Amazing breakfast and everything was really clean! The beds were made every day and the staff was incredibly nice. The best thing was, that it was close to really every main attraction in Prague.

Had a great stay in Prague here, the hotel is very close to Charles bridge and the old town. The room is clean and comfy and bathroom kept spotless. Staff work really hard to keep things ticking over. The staff are very friendly, when I checked out early before breakfast they prepared and left a meal for me in the fridge which was fantastic. Highly Recommended.

Small but great value hotel, great location

I spent four nights in this hotel with three friends. We booked a single room to accommodate all of us for a very reasonable price, and were surprised at how much room there was, there were actually two bedrooms and a very large bathroom.

The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside the rooms were immaculate and very well presented- service was good and our room was tidied every day and towels/toiletries replenished appropriately- even if we left after lunch.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, spent time talking to us about what to see and do, making recommendations and providing some really useful vouchers to get money off attractions or free drinks (with a purchase) at local bars, etc. Also I would suggest making use of the Hotel's taxi agreement, they can arrange transport to and from the airport for a much more reasonable price than you'll get by making the arrangements yourself (as we found after getting our own taxi from the airport before realising the hotel offered a service).

Only downside was that the room we had opened up directly into the breakfast dining room and reception area, which meant a lot of noise from 7am until 10am right outside the door- not too much an issue if you're an early riser out exploring first thing but not so great when you're nursing a hangover from the night before thanks to Prague's fantastic nightlife!

We had an early train to catch & our host went out of her way to have breakfast for us a little early. Very kind & accomodating. One of the best places we stayed at.

This facility is a hostel. It was not what I expected (lift and private bathroom) but turned out to be just fine. The facility is well located close to the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. The breakfast was varies, fresh and satisfying. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean and linens were new and white as white can be.

Quaint hotel right in the middle of the old town.

The hotel experience as a whole was pleasant, very conveniently located in the middle of the old town of Prague. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was included in the very affordable price. The only drawback was the staff at the reception. When we first arrived there was a note on the door saying they would be back in 10 min. We were waiting outside in the freezing cold weather of Prague in January. 20 minutes later no one at arrived yet. Finally when someone did arrive, no apologies whatsoever. From then on though the staff was ok. On Monday the day of our departure the woman at the reception gave me the impression that we were a bother to her. On the other hand, the women that were cleaning and looking after breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The rest of the hotel was great they do lose their points with the staff at the reception though.

Fantastic location on a quiet cobblestone street and yet a 5 minute walk to Chàrles Bridge . Many chaŕming restaurants not swampedal by throngs of tourists are within a 100 meter radius . Our room (#1) was on the ground floor level, spacious, clean, and a spotless bathroom. Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous and plentiful. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

I booked the Old Prague House after reading good reviews. We were not disappointed, the hotel is in a great location, once you get your bearings round all the little streets, minutes from Charles Bridge. The local taxi driver Peter was very friendly too! We walked for miles and miles, the highlights were castle, Charles Bridge, going up the funicular, lookout from their version of the Eiffel tower, mirror maze, Jewish quarter, Old Town Square, John Lennon wall, Ice bar, Hard Rock cafe, Coyote Ugly bar for the most amazing fire show behind a bar! Jazz Republic, all the churches, great meal at the restaurant on the boat along riverbank, great view of castle and bridge at night. Would recommend wearing flats or trainers for walking, so many cobbles on the streets and paths, wedges best for evening! Good idea to print out a currency converter sheet too.There's a great atmosphere in Prague, so much to see and an absolutely beautiful city, you won't be disappointed! We hope to do it all again one day!

5* is the least it deserves

As a frequent traveller I can honestly say I have not had better, more helpful service from any hotel around the world, including some very expensive and luxurious ones.
The very helpful and welcoming emails prior to arrival and the friendly and helpful service once there was exemplary.
The room was spacious, well laid out and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of plug sockets. The bathroom /toilet area was well designed and there was constant hot water with a choice of shower heads including rainforest shower.
The hotel had a well equipped kitchen area where we were able, should we have wanted, to make mrals and a courtyard to have breakfast \"outside\". The buffet breakfast was included in the price and very nice.
It was less than 5minutes walk to the Charles Bridge, the old town and river with pubs, restaurants and shops. Despite this it was very quiet.
I will return to Prague and this will be my hotel of choice

Back in Prague after 12 years

I booked this hotel/hostel as I was on my way to Karlovy Vary. Nice central location to quickly see major tourist sites of Prague again. Friendly staff, who emailed back quickly if I had questions. Hotel/hostel also arranged for an airport taxi. I stayed in room 12, with a view of a small street, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Hotel/hostel is close to a metro station, i.e. to get to the Florenc bus station. Nice breakfast. Three shared bathrooms are very clean. Kitchen also well equipped. No lift, so you must carry heavy suit cases up the stairs.

It was just big enough to fit a single bed and superslim wardrobe.
My confirmation said balcony/patio with city views. I had a window looking into the window on the other side of the narrow street. My confirmation said satellite channels. Maybe there was, but there was no tv to view them on.

Dejlig lejlighed med stor terrasse. Beliggenheden super i forhold til gå afstand til de fleste seværdigheder. Der er et hyggeligt torv lige ved og der er restauranter, caféer og sisha bar ( vandpibe).

會看中的這家旅館主要原因是：位置和交通（如下圖）
到查理大橋、天文鐘等老城區，都在500公尺以內
其他優點：
1.旅館往東南方向有一間類似百貨公司的大賣場
有DM、Bila、Pepco…等等商店與超市
分別有生鮮、日常用品（毛巾拖鞋）、文具…等。而且相當平價。
賣場東邊出口就是卡夫卡的轉動頭像
每個整點時就會轉個十分鐘（但是偶爾會故障罷工）
這個大賣場我們去了大約五次
包括糖果、餅乾、化妝品的伴手禮，都是在這裡買
反而沒有在波丹尼買（老婆說比較貴）
2.旅館的下面有二家餐館，泰式和越式
強烈推薦越式小餐館（面對旅館的右方）
我和老婆大概去吃了七、八次
最喜歡牛肉河粉、雞肉河粉（或米線）還有炒飯等
價位180~220ck，很親民的價錢，味道也很讚(略鹹一點點)
越式餐館附有間賣飲料的雜貨，一罐可口可樂也才40ck
用Google map會找不到這一家，建議先找旅館「Old Prague House」
地址：Náprstkova 214/7, 110 00 Staré Město, 捷克
再用接景看。
3.旅館的房間21平方米，衛浴還不算小，很夠用了
位在老城區但是還挺安靜的
可以向櫃台借煮沸水壺(kettle) 1.8公升
我們不喝生水，都是煮開水(或賣場買100%橘子汁)
另，可以向櫃台訂計程車，到機場700ck
櫃台晚上7:00後關閉，隔天早上才來
早餐07:30開始，很普通，但是吃飽飽沒問題
還有，旅館不提供牙膏、牙刷、拖鞋
有大小毛巾、洗浴乳；而熱水挺熱的，淋浴很舒服。
房間沒空調，有一台電風扇也夠了，也有小冰箱

Nettes, freundliches, kleines Hotel direkt in der Prager Altstadt mit ordentlichen und sehr sauberen großen Zimmern. Das Frühstückbuffet war einfach aber auch ausreichend. Das Hotel (kein Aufzug, schmale steile Treppen) bietet ein ideales Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für einen Stadtbesuch (ganz nah an der Karlsbrücke) und alles ist zum greifen nah.

전체적인 느낌이 오래된 집 느낌, 화장실도 주황색의 타일로 촌스럽고 깔끔하진 않습니다. 방문 잠금장치도 아날로그 열쇠라서 당황,,, 하지만 침대는 깨끗하고, 숙박에 무리는 없었습니다. 컴플레인시 적극적으로 대응해주시고 불편한 점을 해결해주려 노력해서 감사했습니다.

Шумное место. На первом этаже бар - посетители орут до трёх ночи. В шесть утра приезжают мусорщики - гремят. На спокойный сон остаётся три часа.

Хорошие апартаменты, только принимающий персонал

Хорошие, даже очень хорошие апартаменты в центре за эти деньги.
Единственный минус это задержка при заселении, так как номер был не убран. И если на ваучере стоит заселение с 14-00, то наш номер оказывается с 15-00 о чем в конце ваучера указано мелким шрифтом.
Приехав в начале третьего пришлось ждать. Но когда попросили написать на сайте о заселении и я написал об этой проблеме, то получил поучительный ответ что типа сам виноват что не читал мелкий текст. Добрее надо быть к людям. Особенно принимающей девушке на рецепшен.
