Our family of four (with two kids) had a wonderful stay here!
The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable — perfect for families. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main attractions in the center of Prague, which made exploring the city super easy.

The only downside was that our unit was on the 4th floor with no elevator, so carrying luggage up and down was a bit of a workout. Also, the building is located on a pedestrian street, so arriving and leaving by car wasn’t very easy, and parking is a bit far from the property.

That said, the place is totally worth it for its location and comfort. If you’re not traveling with a car, it’s an excellent choice!

Place was nice, location was great! However the description of the place was misleading, it stated “quiet neighborhood” that was soooo not true!!! 3 out of 4 nights there was extremely loud club music coming from near by, it started around 10 pm and ended at 6:30 am!!! We tried contacting the owner on all sorts of platforms but he completely ignored us!! And we still haven’t heard back from him! We hardly slept, that was terrible!

The apartment we rented was huge and well appointed. We also loved the neighborhood and convenience of getting around the city on foot. However, we would have had a BIG problem if there wasn’t a sister hotel nearby with a front desk. I did not receive the email with the door code before I arrived, so they saved the day with that. Also, there is nowhere to store bags in the building we stayed, so thankfully the hotel helped with that also. I’d love to stay in the same apartment again, but this was my first trip to Prague so I’m not sure I’d deal with the lack of on site support again.

Good but beware of super early checkout

The place was nice and conveniently located but the main issue was the lack of a couple amenities (only two towels for a family of 5 and no shower soap, tea or coffee), including a 10am check-out which is not ideal if you're traveling with young kids.

This property is a complete WOW! The location is so close to the square. We are a family of 4 and need space when we travel - our room (Kate, on the 2nd floor) was huge! Our room could have been 3 rooms, the kids had their own bedroom, 2 bathroom sinks, a shower and a big tub (we didn’t use) and a kitchen, eating, living room space not to mention a mud room/foyer. There also was a washer/dryer combo (which I didnt use but would have except I can’t seem to figure these machines out anywhere). It did take a while to find a supermarket which I found across the Charles Bridge but that wasn’t our priority. Also there was hand/dish soap and dishwasher detergent but no other amenities (bring your own shampoo). In general, I would totally recommend this property. For us early checkin was not possible the central registration hotel is right around the corner and able to store your luggage. Thank you 3 Epoques!

The property is located very close and in perfect walking distance to pretty much everything. There is local public transport nearby with good connections. Given the location of the apartments, it is very loud in an evening with noise from the bar and alley way below going on until the very early hours of the morning, even midweek in January. The windows of the property do very little to stop any noise coming in. Despite this, the room is comfortable and very clean with a fully kitted out small kitchen. Its also worth nothing that you dont get a physical key to your room or the building and that a code is required for entry.

Although it was difficult to find the property, once we were there we couldn’t have been more pleased. The apartment (Agnes) was huge! More then enough space for three of us. The best part was the location. We were a short walk from many of the key tourist spots in Prague. Highly recommend.

The area was beautiful, and the apartment was wonderful. I thought it was well stocked however it didn’t have enough toilet paper and I couldn’t get the support we needed. I also had reached out asking where to park and never got a response and that made our arrival unnecessarily stressful.

The property was in a great location with easy walking to all areas of old Prague and the Prague Castle. The only problem was the noise at night from the beer tasting area below the windows. As it was hot and no air conditioning you had to have the windows open.

Great property in a perfect location. No AC and there is a popular bar on the ground floor with bunch of outside tables. This place is noisy way after midnight especially on Friday and Saturday. So when it’s hot you really want to keep the windows open, but there is no way to sleep like that. This said, the widows are great and if you keep them closed it’s very quiet inside.

The location is superb. Close to Charles Bridge but away from the noise, hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious (I stayed in George, #6, and my friends were in Victor, #8) and very clean. My friends counted stairs from the lobby to their bed, around 130. No lift. But the charm #8 had certainly made up for the aerobic workout.
My only issue was the “new” espresso machine that no one knew how to use for the length of my stay. The office employees said it’s new, we don’t know. If it’s a new machine there obviously was an owners manual one would think!
Finally my last day, a young lady helped me. Wonder where she was all week?!?!
I certainly wouldn’t distract someone from staying here because of the espresso machine, it’s a great place and I’m sure the employees will know how to operate it (or better yet) provide directions for the guests.

Really big area that would be fun for a family or a small group of people to stay in. Seriously ill-equipped for the heat though, I was put in an attic bedroom that was over 100°F with one half-broken fan. Ended up having to sleep on the couch downstairs where it was only 90°. I understand it’s hot in the summer but the property did not do a good job of making guests comfortable and for the price, I would expect them to try, perhaps setting up more or even working fans. Very good location in the heart of Old Town.

Prague at its best!

So much history in the building itself! So very helpful at check-in and offered to do anything that would make our stay more pleasurable...highly recommend the beer pub right at the entrance for beer samplers and snacks. We were there three days and beers at the pub every day. Location is AMAZING! In no time you are at the Charles Bridge and town square and if you like to walk the Castle area is easily doable also! Will recommend to friends and hope to return some day myself!

Simply The Best ! ! !

There isn't much to say other than that this was an extraordinary property in the very heart of the Old Town. You are 2 minutes from the central square and 2 minutes from the Charles Bridge. Despite all the crowds this property is tucked away and has a lovely calm and charming feeling, not to mention the great little beer garden next door.

The hotel location is amazing! We stayed in Kate and the rooms were large and really nicely done. Parking is difficult so not ideal if you have your car. The hotel is small so it doesn’t feel busy at all. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place in a perfect location close to everything. It was even more beautiful then the pictures with great light and lots of room. My all time favorite hotel/vacation rental. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants, cute shops, close grocery. Added bonus was friendly helpful staff - reception is on-site with great English so that part is just like a hotel, not like some apt rentals. Kitchen had everything we needed, great water pressure in the shower, Comfortable beds, and really clean. Also be sure and go nextstoor to the beer place and check out the buildings basement. Only not perfect part was there was no washer in our unit so we sent some laundry out (arranged by reception) and it was more expensive than expected - about $34 for one big load or 2 small by European size- but that is still less than a hotel would have been. (Please note though the website did not state there was a washer - so we should not have expected it except that I emailed and they said there was one.)

This was a unique spot and was glad that we stayed in a room that was spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable however the cleanliness left a lot to desire. There was an excessive amount of mildew growing in the shower and common areas were dusted (ie: media stand) however half of the place was missed. There were dust piles in corners and in fixtures in the bathrooms. Overall, the cleanliness was poor.

We did like the location and the bar next door to the hotel was awesome. I can imagine it being very hard to stay here in the summer because of the noise from the bar with the need to keep windows open because of the lack of AC. We were comfortable in the fall weather with the windows closed.

One HUGE perk though: an iPhone connected to the Czech Republic towers that we could use for free without needing our own phones. A MASSIVE perk not needing to worry about data roaming, etc... This phone is in your room and for you to use, download anything you want onto and then can erase before you leave.

If I were to go back to Prague, I would look around before booking this place again.

Beautiful Apartment Near Everything!

As is in most of the buildings in Europe there is no elevator but we were able to get our bags up stairs easily and there are wonderful gentlemen at reception who can help you, if needed. The two bedroom apartment was wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable. We were certainly spoiled with the renovated look and feel of the interior. We got to pretend for the few days we were visiting how it would be to live in Prague (complete with an amazing housekeeper). The apartment is mere steps to the gorgeous Main Square and close to other sights such as the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. There are many restaurants nearby but don't overlook the underground restaurants because they always surprised us with their decor and delicious food!

Shocking poor service

I was in Prague on business and stayed in the hotel for one night, check out 12 July.
I came downstairs at around 4.30am to do my check out. The door to reception was closed and it looked like nobody was on duty. I knocked on the door a few times before the head of a staff member appeared from under the reception desk and he ushered me to come in.
Immediately upon entering the reception, I noticed that the gentleman on duty, Peter, was not friendly toward me and he did not greet me.
I was waiting in reception for a few minutes for the taxi I had called to arrive. I explained to Peter that my taxi was not arriving and he offered no assistance. I then asked if he could call me a taxi. I was not sure if he was busy with my request and so I asked him if he was calling the taxi for which he abruptly responded that he was busy with it.
Approx 10 mins later, the taxi Peter called arrived. I had a few bags to carry and Peter again offered no assistance. I asked Peter if he could help me to the car which he reluctantly did. Whilst walking to the car I asked Peter why his service is unhelpful. At this point, Peter stopped walking. He then threw my bag at me and walked off back into the hotel.
I have never experienced anything like that before and I cannot think of any plausible reason why Peter was so unhelpful and rude that morning apart from maybe because I am black.
Certainly, I will never stay here again or recommend this place.

We were very fortunate to luck on this place! It was well situated in the Old Town and so extremely convenient, but was also in a quiet street! From the beginning we were greeted like special guests and given really useful information on what to do and not do. This happened without asking!! The first time that we have stayed in an apartment rather than a conventional hotel for a city break & we could not have chosen better. This place is within 200 metres of Charles Bridge & the Old Town Square, yet is so peaceful & quiet when you return back from visiting the many tourist attractions.
When you book, take up the offer of the private taxi pick up from the airport & the breakfast (delivered directly to your apartment) as they are extremely good value.

Unique experience in heart of old Prague

We had an enormous big apartment with a touch of history, beautiful. The ceiling in each room is absolutely amazing - from 17th century, building is UNESCO heritage. Well recommended, only issue we had was with a noice, maybe because the building is old the noice is higher than you would expect, but I think the second floor would do the job, in first floor you get the noise particularly from the bar below. Apart of that it was a great experience!

Incredible top-floor apartment

We got to stay in the tower of the hotel, which was so magical. It is a UNESCO building and absolutely beautiful and pristine. The service was also incredible friendly and efficient. We had had a problem with our shuttle pick-up, and they went out of their way to remedy it. We will recommend this hotel to everyone going to Prague.

1. There's no elevators to carry ur bags but the staff very helpful to carry it for u.
2. You can hear alot of noises outside it bothered me late at night a little.

Overall the alartment is 9/10 but i'd give it a 10 cuz i met the owner and he was very friendly and open minded to my opinions.

This hotel was actually the home of a Bohemian king, which gives you some bragging rights when you go home. The apartment was huge, we comfortably fit our whole family (3 children 2 adults) in it. The apartment was clean and had a kitchen with cups, plates, etc. The only thing that would really improve this place would be a washer and dryer in the flat.
The hotel is located in a pedestrian only area, so you have to park about 5 minutes away in a parking garage.

I do not leave many reviews however this hotel was Very disappointing, loud-more like a hostel than a hotel, rooms were dated, nothing like pictures, no elevator -had to climb 8 floors to room, forgot breakfast that was paid for. No hot water for shower-double bed consisted of two singles joined together.

This small hotel is in the heart of old town Prague tucked away off a side street, but just steps from everything. It is also in a beautiful unesco listed building as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and someone was available at the desk 24 hous a day.

They also assisted us in booking very reasonably priced transportation to and from the airport with a clean and professional car service.

The breakfast they offer for just 3 euro is brought to your room at any time and includes fresh juice and coffee, yogurt with granola and fruit and toast with either jam or ham and cheese. It was simple delicious and more than we needed.

There is a bar with a great selection of beers just next door and all the staff there are super nice too and thankfully did not attract the drink all day and night tourists that we saw in other places.

Truly fantastic - an incredible place to stay

We stayed in a two room apartment with separate hall, kitchen and bathroom. Each of the two rooms contained a double bed and a sofa with the main room also having a dining table, 6 chairs, a coffee table and a TV. With windows that opened to the courtyard of the bar next door.

To say this apartment is big doesn't do it justice. It really is huge. The apartments are historic and important old buildings that have been maintained very sympathetically. You feel like you are a part of history staying there.

We had a truly fantastic stay. And the staff were amazing. So friendly, helpful and genuine.

One can't beat the location. The rooms were poorly cleaned and maintained. Both showers had problems with drainage and leaking. The fridge would not shut. The sink lacked a proper drainage stop. Water was lost once during our stay for the entire morning with little concern for guest accommodations.

Amazing!!!!! We got the shuttle from the train station (organized by the hotel).

Staff were excellent!!!! Made sure we had all information that we needed, gave some local advice as well as booking a tour for us.
The residence is clean and well kept - great place to stay in the middle of Prague!!!

Amazing stay! I reserved the 2 bedroom apartment and shared it with another couple traveling with us. We both had privacy, just had to coordinate bathroom times.
The location is perfect!!! It made our stay in Prague very enjoyable. We walked everywhere. Charles Bridge is right around the corner.

Amazing apartment in a fantastic location

The apartment is in a beautiful historic building and was the most perfect location for exploring Prague. We were 2 couples travelling with 2 babies and the condo was perfect. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We could turn on the baby monitors and sit in the bar downstairs that has great beers on tap. A wonderful stay. Can't recommend enough.

Spacious and clean apartment in a heritage building. Very nicely decorated and furnished. Even has a washing machine! Great location at a mere 3 minute walk to Old Town Square. Breakfast now available at just 3 euro pp which includes ham toast, croissant, muesli, fruits and non-alcoholic apple cider. Good wifi. Overall excellent value.

Central to Old Town

This apartment is 5 minute walk from the old town square and Charles Bridge, the top ten attractions are all within a short walk. The apartment is situated down a short side street and above a beer tasting bar that closes at 11 so no noise implications. The two bed/lounge rooms are big and full of character. The daily service to tidy was welcome and the apartment kept very clean. We had 5 adults in an apt for 6 and it was very spacious. A little down the street there is a lovely little cafe we used for breakfast. Plaque is a really lovely place and everybody very friendly.

Amazing location, space and comfort!

Don't think twice! The hotel location is unbeatable. Literally a few blocks from Charles bridge and most old town attractions. The comfort and space in the apartments is also uncomparable to a regular hotel room. I had a minor issue with hot water running on the shower. They could not fixed inmediately but I did not let that ruin my time. I was offered other rooms to take showers. Inconvenient but hope next time I don't have the same issue, because I will definitely come back.

Amazing hotel in city centre

A pleasantly spacious room right in the heart of Prague's Old Town. The only downside to the location is the noise. We had to keep the windows to stay cool during a heat wave, which allowed the conversations from people walking by to disturb us during the night.

Hotel staff were kind and friendly, free fruit and coffee are offered in the lobby.

Superb location

Quiet retreat in the middle of all the chaos.So close to the centre of town but with a great position which made it quiet enough to enjoy.Very nice feel to the hotel and to the room.
The staff were curteous and helpful.

Our first impression of this hotel was with a little disappointment because we had stayed in some lovely places leading up to our Prague visit. However, once you get to know the area and appreciate that Prague is a quaint and very old city, you realise that this type of hotel is just what you should expect to find here. The location is fantastic. Its a little noisy at night time, but that is part of the experience of listening to the bustle of night life pass by in the cobbled laneways which echo up to the apartments. Not a lot of mod cons (don't expect to find anything to watch on tv in english), but good value and a nice place to experience an amazing city. Breakfast was amazing value and delivered to the room. Lots of stairs & no lift, so you may want to request a lower floor if thats a concern.

Incredible staff, rooms, loacation!

I usually don't write reviews but this hotel and the staff were awesome. Sergio and Kristian helped us find a bus/train reservation that was only available in Czech. Without them we would be stranded there for 4 days! The breakfast delivered to the room was great! Champagne beer soft drinks were all available and about 1/3 of US prices! Book this place now by the way, it was a former royal residence and about 900 years old

Great value in a great location

Excellent stay for family of four, but could have easily slept 6. Apartment was huge!! Good facilities for occasional meal cooking. Only down side was noise from the courtyard beer garden and the pedestrian walkway adjacent the hotel. We were woken every night, but we also had the windows open. Also there is a performing arts studio next door with loud music, but not at night.

Comfortable rooms and great location

Great location, near all restaurants and shops. But, kind of hard to find if you don't have GPS. Big rooms and comfortable with full kitchen and dinning room. But the Wi-Fi was slow and no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs but they are willing to help you with them. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is delivered to your room for 3 euro per person and it is very good. Loved the yogurt with fruits and chocolate granola. There is a beer tasting restaurant downstairs which is very good. Overall the place is great for the price.

Wonderful apartment close to all the action

This converted palace has been beautifully restored and kitted out to a good standard. The room we had was really airy with plenty of space and the high ceilings and enormous windows added to the sense of spaciousness. We were there in a cool March but the room was warm and the radiators provided extra heat when needed. We looked over the front of the building down Retezova. The lane and courtyard outside were generally pretty quiet. If the weather had been warmer we could have sat outside. There is no vehicle traffic and just the odd sound from the nearby cafes and bars.

The facilities were clean and just right.

The people running this place are delightful. Just so helpful and smiley! There is a great sense of pride and a real sense that they are genuinely friendly. Lovely people.

Beautiful Apartment in an Amazing City!

Amazing Christmas in Prague and Royal Boutique Residence was perfect! Clean, spacious, friendly and loads of character. The staff could not do enough for you and it was magical staying in the heart of the old city in such a beautiful building. After 2 months travelling our family of 6 all rate Royal Boutique Residence as the most memorable hotel and highly recommend it!

What a great place

We loved the place!

The room was actually a very small apartment, with an equipped mini-kitchen (including a stove top and a refrigerator+freezer). We actually bought some stuff in the local Tesco shop (5 minutes walk from the apartment) and had a few of our meals cooked, which was really nice to do while on vacation.

The location was right in the middle of old town, 3 minute walk from the clock square, a few minutes walk from the Jewish old center of town and 2-3 minutes walk from Charles bridge.

The hotel is actually a very (and that VERY - about 800 years) old building, which makes it really nice. However, it is renovated and the furniture and flooring etc. feel completely modern. The crew was as nice as it gets.

There's no elevator - so if this makes a difference to you, make sure to ask for a lower level.
