The hotel has a great location and is very close to the main attractions, which is a big plus. However, the room was quite small and not the same as shown in the pictures when I booked. The breakfast was overpriced at £15. On a positive note, the room was spotless and very clean.The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Bologna while visiting for Christmas. The location was ideal, a short walk from the Old Town Square or Charles Bridge and not far from a metro. The roads around it are small but we felt perfectly safe even late at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were welcomed with a small mulled wine which was a lovely touch. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and ample storage space with a good wardrobe and lots of drawers, and a small safe for your passport etc. Nice and quiet and comfortable and we slept well. Fab shower! We appreciated the little kitchenette area too with the fridge. Breakfast was excellent. Two of our days we arrived after 10 but there was still plenty of choice. Cereals, fruit, delicious pastries as well as hot food such as scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon etc which was very good. My husband loved the hot chocolate and my favourite was the apple filled lattice pastries! Our last day we went at a busier time but no problem getting a table. We can also recommend the little burger bistro next door to the hotel, excellent burgers! We were very happy with our choice as it was good value and we would stay here again if we returned to Prague.

I did not buy the breakfast. The room was immaculate. The staff were very helpful and and even took a new suitcase from a delivery person and held it all afternoon while I was out, since the airport had broken my old suitcase.
I was very comfortable here and will come back again.

Hotel Bologna was a wonderful hotel. It was close to a number of attractions. Incredible restaurants, shops, walkable and safe. The rooms were spacious and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was wonderful and we also had dinner at the adjoining restaurant. Alec was especially attentive and his recommendations were perfect.

I went in December and the room gets way TOO HOT. I had to sleep with the windows open and actually just ended up keeping them cracked most of my stay. Even when i shut the heat off, the heat was pumped so intrusively from the hallways that i could not be comfortable sleeping without the window open.

And of course out the window was nothing glorious to see.

Decent breakfast but gets overcrowded with entitled tourists. Options arent that vast like i seen others state 🤔 but definitely american style hotel buffet

Overall great location next to Old Town Square and nice staff but yeah the heat pretty much ruined most of my comfort. And i could hear conversations of the people next door way too clearly, no privacy for sound

The staff were incredibly helpful, breakfast was consistently delicious, and the room was perfect for our needs. The only suggestion would be to make sure both breakfast rooms had the same food offerings. Over easy eggs and heart waffles were only available in the restaurant side and since you were directed where to sit, you didn’t have the full options. But this is a small suggestion and we had an amazing experience.

The location was perfect for access to all the sights but slightly removed for quieter streets. We would stay here again!

The first day our room was cleaned but the next two days we left the hotel by 8:30am and didn't return until 3:30pm and room was not cleaned at all. Housekeeping knocked on our door ten minutes after returning asking us if we wanted cleaning then which we didn't since wanted to take a nap at that point. They were on the floor cleaning when we left in the am and still when we returned on same floor so not sure why didn't clean our room. There was no sign saying they didn't clean for environmental reasons and they had cleaned the first day. The food at breakfast was a good variety but you needed to get to the breakfast area by 8am or would wait in a line to be seated. The hotel was quite busy for breakfast but a lot of food was available so that was good. The location was good for accessing all the sites and the rooms very spacious. The shower didn't drain well though. Overall was a good hotel that I would stay at again but I would make sure to specify room cleaning and check shower drain. Front desk staff very friendly as was all other staff.

Our room was clean and plenty of room for luggage and a stroller. Mini fridge was cold enough to keep milk cool through the night. The AC worked well when needed during the day. The included breakfast was great, enough options for my family, including a toddler. Staff were constantly replenishing items and cleaning. Staff was very accommodating and nice. We would definitely return again.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and those pillows were amazing didn’t want to get up in the morning. Great location so close to everything all in walking distance. I really wanted to love this hotel but it fell short. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The location is prime and walkable to everything. It’s these last 2 things that saved the overall rating. While the hotel is historic and I loved that vibe, the bathrooms desperately need a remodel. The shower is TINY and the layout impractical. They’d do better to lose the bidet and expand the shower. The shower leaked water everywhere and made a mess of the bathroom. We were in a family suite and yet only one of us could be in the bathroom at the same time. There wasn’t even enough room for 2 to stand at the sink. The cleanliness was good except for the wood floors in our room which were plainly not cleaned well. So overall not a bad hotel if you don’t mind trading a nicer space for the convenience of location.

Great location but needs an upgrade.

The hotel is in a great location in walking distance to see all of the attractions yet not in an overly high traffic location. Hotel Bologna has a very good breakfast yet the rooms could use an upgrade. Unfortunately,,the power went out in the evening. Overall, the stay was worth the price during a very busy week with tourists yet has the ability to be a better hotel if the rooms and bathrooms were upgraded with a fresh coat of paint.

This was a very convenient, pretty, and enjoyable hotel. It's location is great, once we parked (the hotel staff assisted us with the city parking app) we never moved our car again. Rooms are cuter and well stocked with coffee, water kettle, fridge, and sink area.

Honestly, the hotel breakfast is fantastic. There's a wonderful selection of cold and hot items, pastries, cold cuts, salads, fruit, and dessert selections, as well as juice and coffee. We stayed for three nights and the breakfast featured different items each day.

We did have an issue during our stay, which the staff worked quickly and efficiently to solve for us.

All in all would definitely recommend this location for anyone visiting.

It's a grand building, with furniture and fittings to match. A welcoming feel all round. Quality breakfast. We had a triple room, so spacious comfortable with everything you need including seating, a kitchen and dining table. Was 4* standard and everything was in good order. From location everything was walkable. If I can do it with a pushchair you can too. Prague was unforgettable and hotel exceeded expectations

The location was excellent. Convenient to shopping attractions and eateries. The room didnt have a lock in the bathroom, ceiling showed signs of leak, carpet had spots. There was constant disturbance of drilling, and hammering. Bathroom was extremely congested and had a weird object that looked like a little toilet in addition to the big toilette. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was fresh, delicious and had great selection. There was street parking which we had to pay to the city for. the streets were very narrow so we were concerned about the car being left out. walkable to all main attraction.

Just returned from 3 nights in this hotel, 4th-7th December. Hotel and facilities were excellent, room was spacious and immaculate, and in a great location. Reception and housekeeping staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, a buffet with a selection of hot and cold food, cereals and pastries, coffees and fruit juices. Couldn’t fault this hotel, would definitely stay here again.

Not much I did like. Never left a review, so goes to show how horrible this place is.

Waited 5 hours for my room before they told me no rooms were available and sent me to a whole other hotel.

There they proceeded to give me a smaller room with less beds.

I asked both the front desks and explained my problems with this whole situation and the only thing they did was pay for the $3 taxi I had to take to the other hotel because they were booked.

Worst customer experience, especially for a hotel, almost laughable it was real.

Receptionist especially the one with a nose pierce is not very friendly and doesn’t know how to speak to the customer properly.When I asked if it’s ok to check in she told us ,come back later,.its too early.The others were okay,staff needs to smile and speak or greet their guests.

Great location. Good amenities. Clean but a bit dated. Staff are friendly and helpful but need some basic office organizational training to better communicate with each other and guests. Be prepared to manage your expectations as the building is older and may not be able to meet certain immediate guest needs. We arrived mid September during an unexpected cold rain storm. We were told building heating starts in October and were offered blankets. It all worked out though and all in all, we had an enjoyable stay.

It is an old hotel but very well keep! Rooms was spacious, very comfortable beds, bed sheets were new and crispy, room came with a kitchenette. Location was excellent .
Breakfast was included in the menu, and it was very good full buffet, a lots of variety and excellent food .

This is a great property if you wish to be nearby to some main places but far enough away from the busy areas of Prague. It only takes a few minutes to walk to some of the main streets, which is great! A good breakfast selection was provided. I would say the cleanliness needs some work or some things need replacing as they don’t work properly (our fridge wasn’t cold at all and the room smelled a bit funny). Other than that, great staff and great location for anyone!

The family room was nice and spacious with a small kitchen area. At first glance the hotel looks nice. The restaurant is nice and the food is a very good Italian menu. The parking worked well for us, it’s pricey but they park it for you and return it to you the day you leave. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.
The main issue we had was with the air conditioning. There is no air conditioning, there is an air fan in a unit that looks like an air conditioning unit. It was difficult to open the windows as they were old and opened into the room over the top of the bed, so you could knock your head on them if you weren’t careful. Also the area around the hotel was noisy with people walking past in the early hours of the morning, then at 6am the bottle recycling truck turns up to empty the bottle bank! We also had some homeless people going through the bins in the early morning, breaking bottles and causing damage to cars parked behind the hotel. The breakfast choices were very good but breakfast was extremely busy and the tables were crammed in together.
It wasn’t the relaxing break we had hoped for and we had very hot weather and we’re looking forward to a more comfortable nights sleep with the air conditioning. They offered to change our room but none of the air conditioning units were proper air conditioning they were fans and they didn’t go below 24 degrees.

Few blocks from the public transportation, bedroom and bathroom were sparkling clean. We stayed 5nights- room service every day. Rooms are good size for Europe. we had triple room A/C, 1King, 1 twin bed , 2 sofa chairs, ottoman, dinning table 2 chairs , coffee table , 2 dressers , small fridge, tv, coffee Kettle, plenty of room for the 3 of us. The breakfast Buffet had a large delicious options for everybody . 24hr front desk staff and everybody was very professional and helpful . The restaurant in the hotel has gluten free and delicious food. Location is perfect - walkable to most of the attractions. We bought 72 hr transportation ticket at the airport - only used it from/to airport . I definitely recommend to stay at Bologna Hotel . Thank u to the whole staff , they made our stay very pleasant ! ❤️. Check the bar next to the hotel 😉 open until 5am good food, beer, and excellent service. Prague is safe to walk at anytime . Lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel.
