Round the corner from a shopping centre complete with Tesco and lots more. Also directly over the road was a gods basement bar serving local drinks and very good burgers. Open until 5am!
The hotel was ideally located on the edge of the old town and a 5 minute walk to the subway.
Room was just right for me and the reception staff were polite and helpful.

I give five stars only for professionalism of Anastasia, the manager of the hotel.
According to the criteria 2025-2030 of hotelstars.eu three star’s hotel must have n.102 additional accessible power socket next to the bed-but in reality is not accessible ( room 318), n152washable bathmat-there was not,n167 shampoo - the was not,n182 beverage in the room- the was not, not a cafe-maker, not a kettle.
P.S. bedside light and ventilation in the bath did not work.
By the way, last time that I saw such type of the furniture was in the Stasi museum in Berlin

It was a conveniently situated hotel. gret for sigtseeing in Prague. The bed however wasnt the most comfortable and on my fial night there was some kind of party going on in the next room while I was trying to sleep

The staff were very nice and knew pretty good English. They were unique in the fact that you could leave your room key at the front desk so you didn’t lose it. Our room, however had a leaky shower head, the towel warmer didn’t work, and the windows weren’t safe as you could open them all the way with no screen to catch you.

I asked the front desk about breakfast, I think $20 each person is pretty expensive so I didn't choose the option. But they charged my credit card anyway. The next day I found out and I told them to cancel the transaction. They promised they would return the charge but they never did. Dishonest business. Great location, that's all the good part I can think of this hotel.

Everything worked out perfectly

The Cloister Inn hotel was exactly what I wanted, and even exceeded my expectations. It is located right in the middle of the old town, and it has two rare features in this price segment: private parking and safe in the room. Just do not forget to call the hotel in advance and to reserve a parking spot. They have just 8, or 10 of them.

All scary tales from other reviews did not materialize in our case. The room was clean and spacious. The ceilings in the rooms are at least 4 meters high. Looking out of the window I saw the quiet backyard with our car parked in it. I did not hear any noises from the street, or from other rooms. The air conditioner worked just fine. The breakfast was very good. The safe and refrigerator also worked as expected. My extra thanks to Ahmat at the reception desk. He was very polite and helpful.

Seemed to be near everything, checked in late….called before to ensure there was parking…all good. Parking for 8(9?) cars. Room was just what I needed for one night. Nothing elegant, sturdy, shower was excellent, bed….not plush, but definitely sleepable. Biggest plus to me we were damn near in old town, bars and restaurants all around. Walked to the famous bridge before checking out and saw the sights.

My stay at the Cloister Inn did the job, and they stored my luggage for me after I checked out, which I greatly appreciated. I found stray hairs in the shower and on the bed, and the room was just okay. The TV was so tiny, I didn’t even bother to use it. The location was fantastic, so it was an overall good experience.

The hotel is in a great location on a quiet street in the old town. For us the 24 hr reception was a necessity as I was travelling with my daughter and the flight arrived late. It felt like a safe neighbourhood. The air conditioning was wonderful as it was 32 degrees outside and the mini fridge a lovely addition to keep water cold. I would stay there again.

Great location. But not always honest.

Location was very good and the reason we chose this. Room was a good size, clean, beds comfortable, good shower. The \"air conditioning\" was a loud fan high on the wall that did basically nothing but make noise. They should not advertise it as \"air conditioning\" imo. But watch for what they say vs what they do. I paid extra for a reservation that was \"80% refundable\" but when I tried to cancel it an hour later, none of it was refundable. We paid an exorbitant amount of money to have 7 items laundered because we needed them the next day. There were supposed to be done that evening. But then it was 9am the next day. When I went to pick it up at 10, they claimed they never said that and it would be at noon.

Very clean hotel, basic but functionable.

All i can say the check in staff were uninterested, i aske for a quite late check out was told half the room fee at first which i was happy with and said i would book and pay for later. then saw another member of staff and was told had to pay the full fee, this is just wrong, and looks like they just want to fleece guests, not aceptable at all..

The Cloister Inn is not in the middle of the action so it is very quiet. It is a walkable distance to Old Town and close to the Tram stop. We stayed a week and found every staff member friendly and willing to help; especially the girl on the day shift of the front desk. Communication was not a problem because the staff spoke English with us.

Hotel is very clean. The room for 2 we staid in had decent size. From facilitues there are a little fridge, tv, safe box. It was no tea/coffe/water in the room however there is free tea and coffee by reception. The bed was not comfortable for me and just one small pillow. Also, the bathroom had no toiletries just very week solution on dispencer for washing/shower. There is radiator in the room as well as air conditioner which is good as yiu can easly control thr temperature. Continental breakfast cost €10, not bad but if to be honest there are lots of cafeterias around which offer much better things for the same price. The location is brilliant, everithing is in walking distance.

Loved my stay here! Only downside, as a bit of a tea addict, after a long day out and about on my first day I couldn’t wait to get in for a cuppa. Tea and coffee etc is available in the lobby which is great but no milk! The next morning I grabbed some from breakfast.
Would deffo stay here again as it’s not even a 10 minute walk to the astronomical clock so very convenient.

Great quick smooth check-in, young lady was great. Parking was safe and very secure(Locked). Great central location to walk to all the Prague sites. Very clean room. Decent size room. Elevator. It is a wonderful homely hotel. The cleanliness and quiet environment of the hotel are impressive. All the staff I met, including the manager, Kristian, Thomas, the ladies working in the breakfast room, cleaners and technicians were helpful, professional and friendly. The location is excellent. The tourist locations are close by and within walking distance. I will surely come back again next time I visit Prague. Highly recommended!

The Cloister inn is a fab hotel, i stay here everytime i visit Prague. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and will help you with any queries you may have. The location is fantastic, its on a quiet street close to transport links, the Vltava river, Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. There are numerous amazing pubs and restaurants nearby. The bedrooms are spacious snd the beds are very comfy, they have extra pillows and fleecy blankets if you are cold. The breakfast has a good choice of foods and drinks, there is also free tea and coffee in the reception area. You wont do wrong choosing this hotel as your base for a stay in Prague.

Hotel was in good location, lovely & quiet at night. It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast buffet area is to small for the amount of people using it, good variety of food, staff refilling when things run low. Unfortunately there was noise from building work across from hotel,which made my stay unbareable. I had to get up 7.30 & was unable to return until after dark for a rest before going out for the evening, returning earlier than normal on a holiday break knowing i would be woken by kango hammers. My request to be moved was turned down saying they where full & it was not their fault as it was not in their building, even when i stated they should have emailed me of possible noise. The hotel agreed to give me a discount when i asked. In the future i will enquire of any building works going on during my stay.

Well located hotel.

This was our 5th visit to the hotel. The location is ideal for getting to the main sights on foot. . Just a few minutes walk to Old Town Square. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast is basic but normally enough to start your day. This time the sausages and beans were cold so hubby left them. I was happy enough with cold meats/cheese etc but the rest of party went to Mac Donald’s. Free hot drinks available in reception. You can store your luggage if you arrive before check in or leave after check out. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We checked out before breakfast on Sunday because of our flight, and the staff had asked in advance if we would like a little breakfast to go package. Not only was it great to get the breakfast, but to know ahead of time that we'd get one that morning and it was one less thing to worry about, was really great. There was also complimentary water and a couple of beers waiting for us in the room upon check-in. It was again, not only great to sit in our room and breathe and have something to drink after lugging our stuff to the hotel, but to not even have to ask \"is it complimentary?\" was really a nice touch. So small but so big. They made sure we knew exactly what we were getting and we didn't have to beg for info or work to get what was coming to us. Made you feel taken care of, like they were doing the work and you didn't have to be on your toes to hound anyone to get stuff. Awesome place to stay! ps. clearly staff was super friendly, kind and competent.

Everything is good .. check inn ok, breakfast great, room is clean, free coffee tea at the lobby.. convenient to everywhere you go in Prague. My only comment is the older guy when we check out I found him rude.. I just ask how long is the taxi arriving.. and he said I told you already madam.. blah blah blah... and I ask how long is the taxi to Florenc... he said ow I don’t know maybe 10 ... 15 minutes.. what the heck.. great info from someone working at the front desk... anyway not good to start my day before leaving ... but hotel is great 👍

Perfect location as just five minutes walk from Charles Bridge and the centre of the city. The hotel was comfortable and clean, huge bed, the safe was free to use and the hairdryer was adequate. Also included was a fridge with complimentary bottle of water and a beer. The negatives are that there are not only no tea/coffee making facilities but you are not allowed to take hot drinks into your room. If you happened to take a travel kettle, you'd need to also take a cup or try and sneak one out of the breakfast room or foyer where they have free hot drinks through a machine, but if you like a cuppa when you get up to get ready then you're out of luck. Also very odd duvet situation, My friend and I had a queen size room each but were provided with two single duvets which really don't do the job. They're also not like conventional duvets but more like a pad in a duvet cover so if you're a restless sleeper you'll find yourself uncovered quite a lot. My room was at the front of the hotel and unfortunately the patrons of the hotel opposite had no sense of time and appropriate noise level when coming out for their smoke after midnight. As a result I had two dreadful nights as the noise went on until 5am. Cloisters Inn moved me as soon as I mentioned it though which was really good service.

Great location from which to explore Prague

Centrally located, this was only a five minute walk to the city hall. There are restaurants and bars nearby. The room was nice though the hotel is a little bit of a rabbit warren. We took a wrong turn a couple of times to our room.

We had everything we needed in the room and the bathroom was also good.

The continental breakfast was generous and the coffee good.

We stayed three nights and would happily recommend this hotel. Just watch out for dishonest taxi drivers in Prague.

My husbands back went out the day before we arrived. I ask for a room with no stairs. One receptionist reassigned us. An senior staff over rode him and we were stuck with stairs. We were staying 3 days!
