Very nice room, clean and modern, with complimentary champagne on arrival. Very friendly and welcoming staff, with free mulled wine and coffee in the luxurious reception area when we arrived. Breakfast was great and we also dined one evening in the restaurant, which was also very nice. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Exceeded our expectations in every way! As it was our first visit to Prague, we wanted to stay in the Stare Mesto area and Little King Hotel was such a gem. From the friendly, helpful front desk staff, to our large, beautifully appointed room (most comfortable bed ever!), to the sumptuous breakfast - everything was absolutely perfect. Convenient, safe area to all of Prague’s beautiful historic landmarks. Do not hesitate to book this boutique hotel for your next holiday!

The location and rooms are excellent - spacious with good bathrooms, but no aircon in some. The key issue is no lift and our rooms was 84 steps up to the 4th floor. This is a game changer when it comes to using the hotel, since \"popping back to the room\" becomes an expedition. We also suffered low hot water pressure which meant cold showers. The breakfast is good and the waiters are fab. The management dismissive of any issue.

Loved it but I had failed to notice that they don't have a lift and I am 85.
The staff were very understanding and moved my booking from floor four to floor two. Even 2 floors was tricky but outside of that the place and staff were fantastic

It is amazing how a hotel of this quality is tucked away at the door step of Old Town and the Charles Bridge. We had a small problem at the beginning but the staff went above and beyond to correct it. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were quiet.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions like the Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock and the Mirror Chapel where we watched the concert by the Royal Czech Orchestra. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and there were a variety of food selection at the breakfast buffet. Just a few points for improvement --- the coffee machine wasn't working and the internet was intermittent. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the lovely staff at the hotel.

Safe to say this hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff first off were lovely. All very helpful and friendly people. The room was absolutely gorgeous, very comfortable, clean and had enough windows to cool it down if needed. Warning though our room had slanted windows that I, 5ft 6in couldn’t close. Thankfully the person travelling with me was over 6ft.
We didn’t actually eat in the hotel so we can’t vouch for their restaurant. We did have breakfast which was pretty good but not outstanding, just your basic buffet breakfast.

Location was perfect, despite being so close to very populated areas it was fairly quiet. Charles bridge is less than 2 minute walk. If you’re sightseeing it is the perfect place to stay.

Excellent value for money and would absolutely stay here again.

Overall we had an excellent 4 night stay. Only disappointment was, on Tues 15th, we were having an early tour, so my husband went to the store to buy water (6:30a.m), however it was closed. I asked front desk, Oleh, if I could buy a water (from the hotel ) since my hubby is diabetic & there was none in the room. He responded that only 1 bottle is provided for the entire stay & that he couldn't give or sell me water, that I had to buy at store. I again explained it was closed & re-mentioned hubby being diabetic. His answer was still, \"sorry, no.\" I chanced it, went to the hotel's restaurant, explained the situation & asked to buy water. Gentleman didn't hesitate & provided me a bottle. Lifesaver & big thanks to him.

No Hot Water for showers!!!

I had a disappointing and uncomfortable stay at Residence U Malvaz ( Little King) in Prague. There was no hot water for showers, at night it was really cold, and we were not informed of this issue beforehand. After speaking with the receptionist, no immediate solutions or compensation were offered. We were advised by the receptionist by giving us a card to email for a partial refund while leaving. With some emails back and forth, the manager insisted they weren’t responsible for it, only offering a discount for a future stay. This lack of accountability and service is unacceptable.

I do not recommend this hotel.

What a beautifully, the room was a blessing and the bathroom was so nice (separate tub and shower, double vanity, spacious). There isn’t an elevator but you are in a historic building with incredible beams! Location is truly great, so close to everything!

Amazing stay - after walking around Prague all week decided this was the best location in Prague !
Reception staff were great. Beds extremely large and comfortable.
Breakfast was good - although didn’t replenish after 9.15 so if you went to breakfast at 9.30 til 10 - left with scraps.

The best location in Prague

The hotel is located in a very old building in the eart of Prague, fully renovated and definitely has it's charm. Very stylish room with amazing breakfast. However, there is no elevator since the building is in the historical center and not every room is airconditioned. WiFi has very weak signal in some rooms.

Stayed for 4 nights in Dec. Reception open 24/7 so that is great if you had train delays like us. Location is perfect: 1 block from Charles Bridge, close to bars/restaurants/shopping however, a bit touristy area. Large bird that lives in hotel was a welcome sight. Hotel rooms don't exactly look like the pictures on the booking site (those are obviously the more expensive rooms). Only complaint is that we were told by the hotel staff that the shuttle to the airport was a flat rate of 30€ for two people but when we arrived to the airport, the driver tried to charge us almost 50€ - before getting in the shuttle, confirm the rate with your driver.

Nice hotel but mind the stairs.

The hotel is somewhat pretty since it’s 600 yrs old. The room is big. There is no elevator. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We are on a long international trip & hence has heavy luggages. Thankfully the strong bell men helped with the luggages. FYI, we walk about 5 miles each day, so we are physically fit enough. Even then, walking the uneven flights of stairs each day is NOT fun. Breakfast is good.

Great location, close to a lively little street, easy access to all the old town.
Good breakfast. Fresh croissants.
Great service. Clean rooms and helpful frontdesk.

Cons
Room was much simpler than the pics. It is a regular room. Nothing outstanding, but ok.
No elevator. Ask for the first or second floor if you don’t travel light. Staff will offer to help you anyhow.
A little noise at times but nothing major.
I keep wondering if the toilet products were really the ones the label says they are... can’t prove anything though.

Overall, it is a good choice and I am grateful for the helpful staff most of all.

Great location if you want to be where there is a lot of shopping, restaurants, nightclubs and history. This is Not the quiet area. The staff was friendly and willing to help. This property does not have stairs, so be prepared. The staff helped lug our luggage to the 5th floor (in Europe the ground floor is 0-not the 1st). The room was comfortable and clean. We were happy with this location and property-nice European experience.

About a block from charles bridge, so its crowded on streets of course. Fantastic included breakfast and staff very efficient and friendly! Attic bedroom, hit head on way up but bedroom downstairs of quad room better for adults! Peppercorn restaurant is lovely and has also wonderful staff. Prague too popular now. Stay away from hop on hop off bus tours. Go for private open car tour. Lots of beggars but prague still gorgeous! C&S canada

Lovely hotel, shame about the stairs!

Lovely room, we had Executive Room. Really spacious in the bedroom and bathroom. Our room overlooked Karlovo and over New Year we had lovely smells of cinnamon and vanilla wafting up :-)
Bed was a bit hard and there were LOTS of stairs to climb to get to our room. Other than that, had a lovely stay.
Bottle of sparkling wine at New Year was much appreciated.

Hotel couldn’t really fault from start to finish. Grand old building and loads of great features inside. Room average size and on 2nd floor lots of steps which didn’t bother us. Staff extremely helpful and any slight issue was solved straight away. Restaurant lovely feel to it very relaxed. Food lovely too. Location couldn’t be beaten really close to all main attractions and the beautiful sights of Prague. Only negative was no free coffee and tea facilities in the room which you would expect from a 4 star. Apart from that allow brilliant

Good breakfast, large comfortable room and great location right in the heart of the Old Town only yards from the Charles bridge. Was a bit of noise at night due to the fact that it was so central, but on the day we left new double glazing was being fitted so will likely solve the problem. Beware if you're arriving late though - the front doors are locked at midnight so you'll need to go round the back from the street behind!

I'm so glad that I've made the right choice to stay at this hotel as the hotel site is super convenient..It was so easy for us to roam around the city from your hotel..Breakfast on the other hand was just average as there were not many choices and our room is spacious and clean..Had a great stay in Praha and definitely will come back to stay at Residence U Malvaze one day! And not forgetting our hotel reception staff - a lady whom I've forgotten her name, she was such a pleasant and helpful.. Thank you for your hospitality as we enjoyed our stay at your hotel..

Lovely Hotel in the heart of Old Town Prague.

We had a fantastic long weekend in Prague for my husbands 40th birthday and the City & atmosphere charmed both of us. The hotel itself is situated in the heart of Old Town Prague and all sights are within easy reach. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a mix of both modern and traditional style furnishings, and cleanliness is kept to a high standard. The hotel staff are friendly and professional and eager to help. Breakfast here is delicious and on a self serve buffet style basis including a variety of continental and cooked items. They also have a chef on board making fresh pancakes and omelettes. We completely loved the hotel pet Oscar the parrot. He was definitely the star of the show for us along with the other guests as well. His gilded cage even fitted in perfectly with the antique furniture and his personality added extra character of the hotel.

Nice hotel, good central location

Had a lovely 4 night stay. The rooms were nice and clean with a good size bathroom (had a small issue with the hot water on the first night but it was soon rectified) the breakfast is good with a good selection (the omelettes were delicious) but the thing that made the hotel for us was the staff (and Oscar the parrot who lives in the hotel). They were all super friendly and helpfull and went out of they're way to accommodate us. It was my birthday while we were in Prague and i was greeted with a bottle of fizz and a box of chocolates and the hotel even paid for our taxi ride up to the castle. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to any one who is planning a trip to Prague.

Rip Off!

We booked this hotel based on the nice designer interiors from the web site. Reservation was paid in full 2 weeks in advance, without cancellation option.
Upon arrival to the hotel, we were instead given room in another location, that looked down like a run-down apartment. Better yet, the location was at the corner of Karlova and Jilska streets, where you can enjoy the shouts of drunken crowds up until 4am right from your room. It was nearly impossible to sleep in this place, as you can hear the party going on all night long.
Room interior has nothing to do with the advertisement, looks very cheap and basic, see the pictures.

On the brighter side, bathroom is sizeable and quiet, it would have been a best part of the room although it is also enjoyed by the mold peacefully growing on the wall next to the shower.

Now the best part of this hotel's hospitality is what the management have done to make up for this unpleasant experience and two nights without proper sleep? Nothing, thank you.

My recommendation - avoid and stay elsewhere.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with chef making omelette & pancakes. Best quilty food with great price at the restaurant. the city is beautiful. You never have to wait for long for public transport. Short bus ride& train from the airport. Just be careful where to stop for coffee as the prices are very different ( from £1to £5) and some places will add service charge on the top. You can buy a travel card is valued for 24 hours and it's less than £4 which you can use in train, trams and buses.

Choose a superior room on the hotel reception side

I arrived to the hotel late and was given a room on the other side of the property, the stairway was creepy and felt unsafe, my room was on the 5th floor and no elevator, the room was extremely small and looked nothing like the pictures showed. The next day after complaining and threatening to leave the hotel they upgraded me to anther room on the first floor in the reception side of the building, the stairway and room were amazing and I had a wonderful stay as a result. My recommendation is that if your are considering this hotel make sure you choose an upgraded room on the reception side of the hotel. The hotel is more like 2 or 3 star than 4 but this seems to be a common theme in Eastern Europe.

1) make sure you know what room you are paying for: I paid extra and booked the Royal Suite and when we were showed our room, it was an Executive Family Room - it is a big beautiful room, but it is smaller and with no divider, and is also much cheaper than the Royal Suite. The host tried to convince me that they have 2 Royal Suites, and we got the smaller one. Not until I showed him pictures from their website did he finally agree with me. Since the room I booked was booked with someone else, I was refunded some money.
2) the breakfast was fantastic!
3) you can't beat the location of this hotel, steps from the Charles Bridge
4) if you like a hard bed, this is the right place...
5)the A/C is set on a timer, turns off in the middle of the night and you can't turn it back on

Very comfortable beds, lovely room in a charming boutique hotel in the centre of all you want to see. Very clean and the gentlemen st the front desk very helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast terrific .. The French croissant hard to resist & mouthwatering !! Only thing there was a constant day & night shrill sound of a drill/construction from our room we played music to drown out but location & staff made up for it.

Hotel in the thick of the action

Could not have made a better choice! The service and hotel room far exceeded the price. Alex, the manager, provided accommodations far beyond the expectations. When we arrived we were without our luggage and Sasha called to airport to check for it and the hotel took it in while we were gone. One day I asked if he could refrigerate a bottle of wine my friend and wanted to have and while we waited in the lobby for our room to be cleaned a waiter from the restaurant served it to us as if we ordered a bottle to our room. Alex suggested all food places that has exceptional food and service. The room had all the accomadactions one would need and ample space. The bathroom was my dream bathroom that if I ever remodel my own it would look like theirs. The Internet was so easy to get on to and was very fast. The later half of my trip took me to Berlin where I stayed at a business hotel and the Internet worked as fast as the old dial up speeds of the 90's. If I ever return to Prague without a doubt this is the only place I would stay. Being how wonderful it is and only steps from the Charles bridge your beautiful picturesque Prague can be accessed completely by walking.

Hotel in the old town of Prague

There was still a little construction work going on at the hotel, which I hadn't been informed about. They were still working on the entrance and reception, and terrace, which meant walking through some construction work to get to my room. I was woken up by banging on my first morning. It will be good to have a proper place for check in.
BUT it's going to be great when it's finished and I would recommend it definitely, the location is great, the manager Greg, can't do enough for one. Breakfasts, in the bar are really good,an amazing buffet, nice dinners and atmosphere there in the evening, like a traditional Czech restaurant, with friendly staff.
My room was nice, it had only been in use for 8 days, it could do with a comfy armchair, and I'd have preferred a bath than a big walk in shower, especially in the winter!

Couldn't reccomend enough

The hotels location was fantastic, so close to Charles bridge and a short walk to the old town square and Prague Castle. The staff were so kind and friendly, helped out any way they could and were a pleasure to stay with.

Lovely accommodation in a fantastic location!

A 2 minute walk from Charles bridge and approx 5-10 minutes walking from the old town square, this hotel is in the perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The hotel is above a nice restaurant. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and spacious and the breakfast was amazing!

the hotel was wonderful. It is in the old town of Prague on a busy street. The room was lovely, but on the busy street. I would highly recommend asking for a room off the street. the staff was excellent. Very good breakfast. The hotel does not have a lift and since I am slightly handicapped that was a slight issue for me. The room was noisy. I requested a room off the street, but they didn't have anything available.

Excellent Location

Noises from the busy streets near Charles Bridge and from hotel backyard. No aircon in the room during summer so expect some heat in the daytime . No lifts but staffs will bring your luggage to your room so no issue. The pork knuckle and the Italia gelato were great.

가족 여행 3명이 갔는데, 넓은 방에 넓은 침대 모두 마음에 들었습니다. 서울에서 갔는데, 서울보다 따뜻하고 더 좋았습니다. 구시가지와 가까워서도 상당히 좋았고, 카를교와도 가까이 있어서 좋았습니다. 숙소에 왔다가 쉬다가 다시 나가기도 좋았습니다.

식당은 별로 기대하지 않았으나, 아침 조식도 너무너무 좋았고, 아내, 아이 모두 만족했습니다. 저녁식사를 먹었는데, 식사질도 상당히 좋아서 모두 만족한 여행이었습니다.
