Reasonable hotel, kind staff central location. If you’re a walker you can pretty much everywhere you need to go. The rooms are comfortable. There is an outdoor pub/cafe connected to the nearby restaurant. It’s LOUD! All day and all night so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs it didn’t bother me. I used Bolt to get to the airport since I had an early flight, it was $20 otherwise the public transport is easy to use. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING! It’s cool to venture down to the gothic cellar to eat. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

The property was a super cool experience in that it was decorated in a medieval style. Otherwise, the room was clean and had all we needed. Fantastic location, really cool old (original) cellar that now serves as the breakfast room, delicious breakfast including traditional options. Gated parking option on the next street. Within walking distance to all major attractions. We parked the car first night and walked everywhere. Very helpful staff. Only concern might be noise on weekends during the summer. Could hear folks on the street quite easily but wasn't an issue in December as they were just passing through and it quieted down by about 11.

Great property and location but the bathroom configuration was awkward - toilet was cramped and there was just a bathtub with a telephone shower handle and a sloped ceiling. So if you are tall, you would need kneel in the tub.

The room was well prepared, the air conditioner worked (it was a hot few days in Prague), there was a big selection for breakfast, Renata and the other women at the front desk were lovely. And it was conveniently located to all the beautiful sites in Old Town.

Near-Perfect Stay in Prague
Wonderful building in a great location to see the sites in Prague. The area is very active, so we had a few noise issues (outside on the weekend and from an adjacent room another night). Otherwise we were very pleased. Breakfast was amazing. Character of the building is very interesting!

I really like the vibe and atmosphere of this hotel. It has this medieval theme and the walls have swords and such which it pretty neat. Check in was funny and there was come confusion but it was sorted out. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great. There was lots to choose from and it was very tasty. What I really like about this hotel is that it's situated in the heart of it all. Very convenient and walkable.

This is an older quirky property which is why we choose it. but the little things like cheap harsh light bulbs and old recycled furniture make the rooms function a bit challenging. This is the off season so breakfast was ok but got better and fresher when the hotel had more guests on the weekend. The price was right and the location was great and the staff did great given what felt like a limited budget.

Location of hotel is perfect. Very quirky place. Booked a suite and messaged hotel asking for sofa bed to be made up and on arrival it wasn’t. They acknowledged my message. Asked at reception to make it up and they said it’ll be done later. It wasn’t. So ended up sorting this out myself. Air con in room but no remote control. Says sleeps 4 people but only beds for 3. States sound proofed. It isn’t. They mean it has secondary glazing. The inside of the hotel is balconies over an atrium and this makes the noise travel. Also says separate bedroom and it isn’t. Asked for a taxi to be booked to take us to the airport and it didn’t arrive and the staff couldn’t sort it out. Very disorganised and disappointing hotel. No big plates at breakfast so eating off little side plates wasn’t great.

Great spot! Loved staying in a historic building, and the single room is a great bargain for a solo traveler. I loved the room’s bathtub and the hotel’s breakfast. The location simply can’t be beat. If I’m back in Prague (and hopefully I will be!) I’ll definitely stay here again.

The booking information was misleading. The elevator does not reach the 4th floor rooms - must carry bags up a flight of stairs from the 3rd floor. The cellar is where breakfast is, and was also not accessible via elevator.
The front desk charged an additional "city tax" fee before we could check in. This was $13-14 in US dollars and was not included in booking information.
There were flies near the juice machine in the cellar. Bathroom in our room had foul odor.

The room in December was unbearably hot and, although we turned off one heater and opened the tiny roof window, it remained too hot for any degree of comfort. Staff tried to help, but the owner will not allow the air conditioning to be used in winter. One of our party tried to use the (waist-height) shower, but became unwell due to the heat.
The area is incredibly noisy all day, but particularly after 5pm, when the bars which surround it become very busy. The noise goes on well into the early hours of the morning and prevents sleep.

Reception staff spoke excellent English, thank heaven! --At breakfast, I would have liked some more fruit options - nice whole fresh apples, oranges, and bananas were provided, but perhaps some smaller, cut-up portions, maybe other varieties (canned or fresh), would have been nice. What there was was quite tasty!

I love this little hotel. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the people were friendly. It's walking distance to everything I wanted to see and has nearby restaurants to get a late night drink but the street is small and quiet. I had a room in the front and had no issues with noise. When I go back to Prague I'll stay here again.

Real rustic charm with exposed wood columns and beams in the attic rooms. The air conditioning is top notch. There is a cool glass elevator and weapon collection lines the lobby and cellar walls. Breakfast is served in the stone cellar, giving a medieval feel.

Room was great and easily accessible with a lift and few steps. The included breakfast was one of the best thing, it's a full international breakfast from 7 (7.30 on weekends) till 10am so you can have a comfy late breakfast if you need to.
The location was perfect, 5 mins walk from Mustek station/Wenceslaus square and less than 5 mins from the Clock tower and main Old town square. The place itself was on a quiet square but 2 mins and you were i to the active streets full of shops!

TRADITIONAL HOTEL WITH PROBLEMS
Hotel is very traditional so furnishings are very dated - don't mind that, but bed and linens were awful. Also unable to regulate heat in rooms. if windows opened was very noisy in room. Lift was tiny, breakfast served in basement - very awkward to go down stairs and very cramped tables.

Given that I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the old town, this was an excellent choice. I was in the smallest-type room, but it had a vestibule, desk, everything I needed. The only quibble is that the sink was tiny, but it was manageable. Rug a bit worn, but clean. Everything else seemed newer (including the bed, which was nicer that the one they advertised in the room choices). My room faced the small plaza, which was busy day and evening, but the double windows (which could open) kept the noise to a minimum when closed. The staff were very helpful; the desk is closed at night, but they arranged an early taxi for me. Breakfast buffet (included) had a good variety of cold and hot foods, etc., served in a medieval, rock-lined basement room. There are also cozy chairs on the main floor. I was pleased there was an elevator, actually with glassed-in view of what must have been a tiny courtyard way back when. Location was absolutely excellent. I only wish the historic church right across the street (where Hus preached) had been open, but that's not the hotel's fault! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is pretty cool being that it’s inside a medieval building. That said, the rooms themselves are a bit antiquated. If you’re looking for a luxurious place to stay, this isn’t it. I loved opening the windows and seeing a 14th century church, listening to the soft chatter of the people below, and the wonderful breeze that came in. It’s very close to Charles bridge and other notable areas of Praha. The breakfast was good, bed comfortable and staff overall are great.

The room was HOT and we had to keep all the windows open to be albe to stay in the room (we were unable to control the heat because it’s floor heating). However, it was loud outside with people partying untIl at least 3am so I’m super glad we brought ear plugs that at least dulled the noise. The room was in the attic and tiny...you could sit on the toilet and brush your teeth and you had to slide to the end of the bet to get out of it. The room wasn’t totally clean and the mini fridge was just plain dirty. The towels were old, rough and thin. The breakfast was good. Plan for 29€ a day to park, no free parking anywhere.
