Stay here! This place was awesome. Very convenient, walkable, and clean. Staff is very friendly, yes the stairs are not easy; however, if you’re not traveling with dumbbells you will be fine. Also, the restaurant downstairs was awesome, very friendly staff and great service.

The location was great. Close to the astronomical clock and the kinsky museum, comfortable beds, spacious room and wide selections of restaurants and the market just in front, however the hotel has no air conditioner, no elevator, (especially when you have heavy luggages and on the 4th floor), very loud noise from people partying all night til 6 in the morning, no hot water, the tv wasn’t working. Overall we did not get a good sleep all night. We left very tired.

This small hotel is located in a convenient area, making it easy to get to Old Town, the Charles Bridge, dining and shopping areas. The room was good for the price (we selected two twin beds), and the staff was very nice.
There are no elevators, and our room was on the third floor... that was rough after walking around Prague for a day and a half, but otherwise, no issues at all. :)

The hotel communicated very well, offering ride service, parking recommendations via email through the Expedia app and also was available via telephone. Very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and clean. Came with linens and towels. Had a coffee/tea and blow dryer. Our room was located on the 2nd floor just above the market. I loved waking up to bustling outside each morning. The location was absolutely perfect for walking to all attractions in Prague 1. Old town, St. Charles Bridge etc are just a few to name. Close to all shops, museums, and anywhere you would like to eat. The apartments are located just above the restaurant.

Stayed for a night with my group of friends and honestly wish we had stayed more nights there because it was very comfortable if your in a group with a few people since there were so many beds. This hotel is right in the heart of the most walkable areas in Prague and is only a block and a half away from the old town square. Better directions for finding it would have been helpful though because google maps/Apple Maps had trouble routing us to the right place and kept taking us across the street since it’s a pretty dense area. Once we decided to find the names and addresses of all the places on the street we were able to locate it. Overall great stay and would recommend for large groups!

Great location, very average hotel

This hotel does have a perfect location, right in the city centre and there is a market right outside it. The breakfast include in our fee was great too. Their own Italian restaurant is great, and the receptionists are very helpful as well.

This 3 star hotel is no way near 3 star, it is at a hostel level, and needs some attention so badly. The room is small, The carpet is dirty, the building is wore down quite a bit, the \"double bed\" is in fact 2 single beds put together. we stayed there for from Monday to Saturday, we did not have any cleaning from Wednesday, i.e. no hovering, no new bed sheet and no shower gel replaced, they only changed the bin bag. Another very unusual thing is you need 3 separate keys to enter to your room: the main door, the hall door and your room door, despite the door will lock when you close it(so you can open it inside by turning the handle), the staff requires you to further lock each door using the key, the problem is each time you leave the hotel you need to use all 3 keys to unlock all doors, it does not only inconvenience but also can be a potential risk in the event of fire. This hotel has no lobby hall and the reception is a tiny office. Overall this hotel isn't that comfortable.

I think I deserved much more for the price I paid for this hotel in non peak season!
Frist, there is no formal reception in this hotel and reception lady sometimes not in at all! Secondly, the hotel building is just above a restaurant and steps to each floor is dark..... My room's door locker is old, unsteady and loose; anyone could be easily kicked with force! The toilet seat is very cheap plastic which is not steady either! If you want to enjoy your Prague trip, please avoid this hotel.

Very convenient to tours and Central Prague

The only real complaint about the hotel would have to be the beds. Extremely uncomfortable and hard. If you have back problems, I would really recommend finding a place to stay that has better beds. It was bearable for our 3 night stay but only just...

I really liked this hotel. It reminding me more of a boarding house, the way it was laid out, but in a good way.
The room itself was very different than a typical hotel room. Very European with an interesting layout that was a nice change from the ordinary.

Great market directly at front steps of hotel.
Very close to Wenceslas Square, if that's your thing.
100 restaurants within a few blocks.

Staff was friendly upon checkin.

very dissatisfied, i don't know why the review was good that's why I booked. stayed only 5 minutes went out and look for another hotel near the old town got better real hotel pay little more than this pension corto, Came back and check out immediately paid for 1 day without staying, that's how bad it is. room smell strong mildew, like mushrooms, out the window very filthy, scared to get bacteria infection inhilation. the corridors scary very dark, 3 keys for 3 doors. not safe.

Poor service, nasty smell

Hotel would not adjust the price despite the fact that they gave us a smaller room with less beds than I had booked. Not happy about that. Receptionist claimed she understood the issue and would call the \"head receptionist\", but would simply pick up the phone and pretend to dial numbers. Spoke in her native tongue to another girl in the office and simply said nothing could be done. Not pleased at all. The washroom had an awful smell to it that we never adjusted to, and it filtered in to the bedroom. The hotel does have a great location though.

The hotel couldn't be more central, fantastic location, I was able to walk to the main attractions within minutes. my room was at the 5th floor with no lift (getting there was a bit of an effort), toilet was clean but the room and the carpet were not very clean. Would recommend for young people and short period of time.

The hotel is very well connected and located at the most desirable location. It is safe and and next to all tourist destinations and all tourist activities. The hotel is very good and homely. The room were spacious and clean and had a satellite tv which was a bonus. The hotel feels safe and the best part was that it had retaurants right underneath it which ensure that even after a long day you get food. And the presence of the retaurants kept the area lively and populous. Also the hotel management is really good gave us unbrellas on a rainy day. And overall i have absolutely no complaints from the hotel. Very good and a steal deal at the given price.

Can't wait to write review because I'm very usatisfied with this hotel. Besides there is no escalator which is stated in the hotel detail, other things are not in good condition either. The room is really small, the toilet smells. There's only one rubbish bin and it's in the toilet. The worst is, there's no hot water in the middle of my shower. I am seriously thinking about changing hotel even I've booked 2 nights. The reception is friendly thought.

Clean and comfy hotel with great location

This hotel is all about location. 2min walk to old town square, 10min to new town and shoping centres, 20 min to Charles bridge and Lesser town and metro station is around the corner.
We stayed in their apartment one block further than the main hotel. It was very clean, comfy with beautiful view of Prague. The room was on 5th floor but they helped us to carry our luggages there. People in the reception are helpful and freindly. There is a local market and Italian resturant which was excellent.
The only drawback is that if you traveling with kids, room on 5th without lift would be difficult.

The Corto puts you in the action for cheap. It doesn't have any frills, simply a room to sleep at night which is what we were looking for. I would highly recommend purchasing the breakfast option when prompted. We were blown away by what we got the next morning at the Corto restaurant (we expected continental and got a full 3 course hot breakfast).

It was a great stay. The lafy at the front desk is so sweet, nice and helpful that we all feel like if we were home talking to Mom herself.
We def recommend this place. Great location and breakfast. Net was slow on 3rd floor where we were, but anything else was fantastic.

Although wifi was free it wasn't the best connection.

The only complaint I would have was our room was on the side if the front street, the market right outside started in the early hours which was quite noisy. Either a room on the other side of the hotel or better windows to block the sound out would

I won't complain about the 5th floor as I knowingly booked it I will only say to not book the 5th floor if you have larger bags or if you are not in a decent physical shape. Will stay there again.

Great service and great breakfast. Very clean room and good wifi. Location is the best. Walking distance everywhere. This is not a hotel for you if you're hoping to check in earlier. Seems have to check in exactly 2 pm. Hotel is more like apartment so you have to carry 5 keys for courtyard, hallway, bathroom and your room. My bathroom was separate in hallway but no one could use your bathroom and you will have a key for it. Also if you're noise sensitive do not book here! There is no elevator.

Room was spacious and clean.

Hotel is situated very close to the attractions and is only a 5mins walk to the astronomical clock tower.

Subway was shut down on the day I was there and so had a tough time getting there.
Otherwise, it is just 2 mins walk away from the Mustek Station of the subway.

Hotel has no lift. So for people with huge luggage, be prepared to carry it up to your room.

Hotel staff were all polite and helpful with the details of travel and attractions.

we were greeted by staff who were professional, spoke good English and went out of their way to help us. We didn't realize the hotel had no elevator and our room was on the 5th floor. That's 10 flights of stairs between two women and four pieces of luggage! We thought it was going to be impossible to get the bags all the way up, but Vera, one of the staff, not only got someone to help us, she also assisted us personally, lifting and carrying the heavy bags. Between the four of us we got the bags all the way up the stairs successfully.
We should have realized this hotel was designed for a younger crowd who doesn't travel with much luggage. Thank you, Vera, for helping out.

We had a midnight train but we had to check out at 12pm from my previous hotel. It was very hot in that day so I need a place for my family to stay for the 11 hours. I booked on line to get a room. After checked in, the stuff took us to the room which is in another building nearby. It is in 7th floor without elevator. That is OK because we have two teenagers to carry the luggages. Unexpected the room have no air condition . It was hotter than outside because it is on top floor. We had to stay in the stair way where is cooler. Fortunately they provide free wifi so the kids enjoyed on line playing. The room is very clean. They offer free breakfast but we didn't get chance to try.

Very clean, comfortable, good location and friendly staff. But cannot work out why there was no soap but the hand wash considering it is rated as a 3star hotel. Coming from a 2star hotel in Amsterdam where there was no soap what-so-ever, we were told that is simply the way around here, so please be aware. Note there is also no elevator, so if you're bringing a suitcase, make sure to ask which floor your room will be.

Great location but not so well maintained room

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The bathroom was perfect. However, the bedroom had a bad smell. Is it still allowed to smoke in hotel rooms in Prague? Also the bedroom could have been repainted. The pluses are: the location and the American style breakfast with eggs, etc.

Perfect location!

The pension was in the perfect location for walking the streets of Old Town Prague and seeing almost all the major attractions in Prague. The pension is affiliated with a quality restaurant that provided complimentary breakfast and a discount on lunch/dinner. The room was at the top of a 5 story building with stairs only. But we're a young healthy couple, so the stairs were not a problem. We packed our own shampoo and soap. The pension had a newly renovated bathroom and fresh bed and bath linens. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Hotel In Centre Of Tourist Area

This was an interesting hotel. 4 or 5 rooms on the top floor of an apartment building. There is no elevator, and the hike up 6 flights of stairs is not for those out of shape or with lots of luggage. The room was nice, and the satellite TV is technically true, but there are 4 channels, one of which was in english, CNN Int. There is a window, but it's up high enough there is no view. The location can't be beat however, it's within walking distance to most of the main tourist attractions. Banks, food, tours, sights, etc, all out the front door within a block or two in every direction. They offered to send a taxi to the airport to pick me up, which was the best option, the hotel is obscurly enough located, I would not want to find it without help, and taxi's in Prague are a rip-off, so having one pre-arranged saved that headache. The WiFi was broken and didn't get fixed until my last day, however they did give me extra welcome drinks and access to wifi elsewhere. Their wifi tech doesn't have a clue, but the front desk staff went out of their way to deal with the situation as best they could.

Fantastic!!!

Me and my friends stayed at Hotel Corto Old Town Pension for 3 days.The Hotel was easy to find, clean, pretty, and very affordable compare to other Hotels in the same area. We got 20% discount at the Hotels's Restaurant and a Welcome drink. The best thing about this Hotel is its location, Charles Bridge is only 5 mins walking distance and the street itself is a market- walking street (you can get good souvenir deals there;)
Our room was on the fifth floor with no lift. It was a bit of an adventure to carry the luggages upstairs, however we had a helping hand from the Hotel's staff.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend and I would like to stay there again in the fututre.

Das Hotel liegt im Herzen des alten Prags und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Zimmer, das sie uns für 4 Personen gegeben haben, ist sehr klein, es wäre für kleine Kinder in Ordnung, aber da wir 17 und 6 järige Kinder haben, ist es unbequem.
Im Duschraum fehlen Haken für Badetücher und eine Ablage unter dem Spiegel neben dem Waschbecken. Wäre schön die haben.
Mit alle anderen sind zufrieden. Bei Information spricht eine Mitarbeiterin Deutsch.

受付のお姉さんが良かった！

Luxury Apartmentに2泊しました。
部屋はオシャレで広々、ソファが大きくて快適でしたが、電球が切れていたり、ドアの取っ手、シャワー置きが壊れたり、朝食付きのはずが、20%オフだったりと残念なところがありました。
通り入口から、部屋まで、3ヶ所の扉の開け閉めは大変でしたが、セキュリティと思えば仕方ない。
立地は、地下鉄から近く、市場も目の前で、買い物、観光に大変便利でした。
一番良かった事は、カウンターのお姉さんの対応が素晴らしく良かった事です。
明るく楽しく親切な対応をしてくれて、チェックインもチェックアウトも安心して出来ました。
高級感を求めなければ総じて良かったです。

Pension liegt im absolten Zentrum. Achtung kein Parkplatz.
Fussläufig alles sehr gut erreichbar.
Unser Zimmer war neu renoviertund sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war aber sehr klein ohne jede Aussicht (Blick auf ein Dach in 2m Entfernung), Es gibt aber auch deutlich bessere Zimmer dort.
Sehr hellhörig dort! Gäste in Feierlaune.
Für ein Wochenende okay, länger nicht so gut.
Frühstück (mit gebucht) in der Pizzeria daneben war sehr gut.

Very friendly and nice staff. We got our breakfast in a bag, the day we left before 8, The booked taxi for us and helped with different stuff always with a smile. Room was small but with all the the necessities. Bed a bit hard for my taste but the children loved it. The location is a 10 out of 10 in the heart of the old city. The restaurant is very good - again all you need in good quality.

프라하가 작아서 주로 걸어다니는 사람들은
여기 묵으면 중간중간 숙소 들르기도 용이함.

방음이 잘 안되는 단점
옆방 코고는 소리로 새벽마다 깼음
냉방시설은 없음. 냉장고 없음.
계단이 많아서 짐이 많으면 힘들수 있음.
방 치워주는 시간이 대중없음.
안치우는 날도 있음.

Excelente ubicación

Excelente estadía en Praga!!
He recorrido muchos hoteles y para mí los principales aspectos que evalúo, ellos son:
Wifi: desde la habitacion no alcanzaba la señal, pero saliendo de la haitación había un sillón muy cómo y ahí sí la señal era excelente.
Limpieza: Bien
Cama: cómoda
Ubicación: excelente (cercano tanto al metro Mustek como a las principales atracciones se pueden ir caminando)
Atención del personal: excelente (las recepcionistas siempre atendiendo todas nuestras consultas)
Desayuno: muy bueno ( es en un restaurante debajo del Hotel)
Hay que subir la escalera con las maletas, pero es solo un piso.

Lyhyelle kaupunkilomalle sopiva hotelli

Yhden yön vierailuun sopiva huone, joka sijaitsi 5. kerroksessa, talossa ei ollut hissiä. Koska tämän tiesi etukäteen ei se haitannut. Toivoin näköalaa vanhaankaupunkiin, mutta huoneessa ainoastaan kattoikkuna. Huone oli myös todella kuuma, eikä kattoikkunasta tullut ilmaa sisään. Sijainti oikein mainio, kaikki palvelut aivan vierellä.
Lisävuode ei enää ollut parhaassa kunnossa, parivuode oli ihan ok.
Vastaanotossa henkilökunta oikein mukavaa ja aamupala ihan hyvä.

Kolmen vuorokauden yöpyminen

Kolmen vuorokauden yöpyminen Pension Cortossa (kolmen huoneen varaus). Huoneen kuvat eivät vastanneet todellisuutta. Ikävintä oli ettei suihkusta tullut lämmintä vettä (kuin ehkä noin 30 sek.). Juuri satuttiin kuumimpaan aikaan ja huoneissa ei ollut minkäänlaista tuuletinta (tiedettiin ettei ilmastointia ole) eikä ollut juomia varten edes pientä jääkaappia. Shampoot ym. hygieeniatarvikkeet pitää olla itsellä mukana. Palvelu oli ok. Hotellin sijainti hyvä.

I betragtning af, at vi aldrig havde været i Prag - og at hotellet blev udvalgt ud fra et tilfældigt valg - var vi overordentligt tilfredse. Hotellet ligger meget centralt, men i et meget hyggeligt kvarter. Betjeningen var i orden - Morgenmaden fin osv. Alt i alt meget fint.

God frukost, tyvärr inte buffé. Rent rum, men låg standard. Bekväma sängar. Perfekt läge mitt i city, nära till sevärdheter och kommunaltrafik, lite ljud från stan på kvällen dock.

Sauberes Zimmer für einen vernünftigen Preis. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt im Zentrum,Bei Ankunft im Hotel bekamen wir Gutscheine für einen Willkommenstrunk(wir wählten Bier) und eine 20% Reduzierung für das Restaurant Corto. Frühstück haben wir leider verpasst,Zimmer lag im 5 Stock ohne Aufzug etwas anstrengend,aber ansonsten kein Problem,gerne wieder.

Treppenmarathon zum Zimmer

Das Zimmer lag ca 200min von der Rezeption entfernt und in der obersten Etage eines Mehrfamilienhauses ohne Aufzug. Wenn man drauf steht nach der Ankunft seine Koffer 10min irgendwo rauf zu tragen dann passt es. Zimmer sind dürftig eingerichtet und renovierungsbedürftig. Parkplatz ist extrem schwer zu finden...zum Glück wurden wir nicht abgeschleppt ;)
Frühstück ist super, café tatsächlich ungenießbar, lage Top!

Loistava sijainti

Kiva hotelli aivan loistavalla sijainnilla, kaikkea löytyy samalta kadulta, kulman takaa tai parin minuutin kävelymatkan päästä. Mukavan tilava huone kahdelle, miksei kolmellekin sillä huoneessa oli kolme sänkyä vaikka varasimme perushuoneen kahdelle. Onneksi varasin huoneen ensimmäisestä kerroksesta, talossa ei hissiä, joten viidenteen nouseminen korkeiden huoneiden talossa olisi käynyt enemmän kuin voimien päälle :)

В целом довольна

Очень удобно расположен и это-главное.Завтраки были хорошие и на выбор,но не шведский стол,обслуживали быстро,но в последний раз подали прокисший помидор.Разместили сначала на 5-м этаже,но подниматься было очень непросто,т к на самом деле это-наш 6-й и очень высокий этаж.
Естественно,что и для уборщицы это слишком-не убиралась.Не выдержала-поменяла на 2-й этаж,номер прекрасный,но шумновато с улицы.А в целом отелем очень довольна и следующий раз остановлюсь в нем.

Hotellin sijainti erinomainen.Huone oli 5. kerroksen rauhallinen huone.
Ei liikenteenmelua. Hissiä ei ollut, joten en suosittele huonokuntoisille. Palvelu ystävällistä ja aamiainen hyvä. Huone ja kylpyhuone siistit.

Eine schöne kleine Pension direkt im Zentrum von Prag. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Eine kleine Pizzaria gehört zur Pension dazu.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr nett.

Nette Pension mit sehr gutem Essen im Zentrum

Das Frühstück ist super, das Personal gibt Tipps zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Lage ist sehr zentral. Und die nervigen Hexen vom Markt vor der Tür halten nachts Ruhe. Das Zimmer war sauber, einzig das Bad ohne Fester war sehr verbaut und klein. Aber bei dem Preis (Frühlingsrabatt) kann ich nichts Schlechtes sagen.

Super Pension! Sehr gute Lage!

Die Pension ist super! Höher wie ersten Stock hätte ich nicht wohnen wollen, da es viele und steile Treppen sind. Aber tolles großes Zimmer! Sehr sauber und super freundliches Personal! Und das Frühstück ist der hammer! Da kann man sich nicht beschweren, super Auswahl und super viel! Ich komme sicher wieder!

何処に行くにも便利なな場所！

ダブルルームでしたが部屋はとても広く、お部屋に大きいポットとフリーのコーヒーと紅茶が置いてありました。
隣のレストランで使えるフリードリンク券とお食事割引券をチェックイン時に頂きました。

1階の部屋まで階段を上らないと行けないので、大きい荷物があると大変です。

フロントドアと部屋に行く途中のドアが24時間鍵が必要なのが、荷物の多い時などにちょっと面倒でした。
クリスマス時期に利用し、クリスマスマーケットはすぐ近くで便利でしたが夜中12時過ぎにゴミ収集車が来て瓶の割れる音が少しうるさかったです。

でも場所が良いので又利用したいと思います。
