We had a lovely time at the EA Aparthotel Melantrich. We chose a top room floor with a walk up balcony to the rooftop. The view was amazing. Checking in/out was easy with pleasant clerks. Housekeeping was always around during the day. There is radiator heating and wall hung AC. We had read there wasn’t an elevator but were happy to find that there was one. The area is a high traffic tourist zone with lots of restaurants and shops. It felt very safe. The subway and trams are just steps away. If staying in Prague again we will definitely be back.

I enjoyed finding an apartment-type hotel room (with fridge, stovetops, toaster, kettle, dishes) in such a central location. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and spacious enough.
The only downside is that the laundry is actually a service sourced outside of the hotel so there are delays and considerable costs.

Beautiful apartment and spacious. We had 6 adults and plenty of room. Terrace was a nice touch with a beautiful 360 degree view of Prague.

This hotel does not have laundry services or facilities. We booked it partly because the listing shows those services, but they don't have them. Local laundromats were closed while we were there so it was an inconvenience. I hope they fix the listing, because that soured our experience unnecessarily.

We have booked 2 apartments for 2 families. somehow they didn't save it for us and arranged one big apartment and another small one. which made our stay complicated.
In addition, no air conditioning, only one fan for 4 room apartment. I have asked for more it took one day to arrange it,

Excellent location in a main square of Prague. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, pubs and cafes. It's loud in the square until at least 4 am so If you don't mind the sound of a busy city then it's perfect location. No AC so you do have to sleep with the windows open but they did provide a fan. The washroom drains had a musty Grey water smell but overall the stay was very pleasant

We had chosen staying in this hotel especially thanks to its location, the apartment was spacious and well equipped, we were pleased by the opportunity to use the terrace on the building roof. Generally we were satisfied a lot. Our only recommendation for an improvement would be to repair some minor defects and damage to room equipment.

Prague is lovely city been many times, hotel fine but not so good being woke up at 8am by builders in the ajoining room with hammers and chisels taking up the floor, and not even a sorry free breakfast or anything from management 😡, and we didn't get back to hotel until 4.30 am so not much sleep

The description for this property is a complete lie. They do not have a laundry facility and the property is not family friendly. It is party friendly, as I was informed all three times I went to the front to complain about the noise level, twice after midnight. Be advised there's a rooftop patio that allows guests to congregate until 4am and the explanation for this is a shrug and "it's the Czech Republic". So if you have an excursion or flight that you need to get up early for, no worries. You won't be able to sleep! The shower in one bathroom was missing a door so the entire bathroom was flooded each time you took a shower and we ran out of hot water. The other bathroom had no soap in the dispenser which was never refilled. We never got hand towels replaced, only large towels, and that was hit or miss. The only thing great about this hotel is that it's close to the metro and tram stop.

The air conditioning did not work. Staff was as accommodating as possible, but the hotel is not in great condition. A second room also had faulty AC. Had to book another location after the first night. Also, there is a gym nearby, but it’s not included like the description suggests. you have to pay about 200CKK to use it.

I did not stay here. Where I arrived they told me they did not accept pets although it is stated in your website they do. They gave me the option of a property next door which I reviewed and did not accept because it was not clean, old, smelly and in pretty bad condition for the price. There were stains in the carpet and the walls and the shower did not even had a curtain. After I complained with hotels.com, the manager even kicked us out of the front desk in front of other guests.

The hotel is located on the main strip. It's a great location for adults who want to explore the bustling city center and experience the night life. Our stay was comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. If travelling in a bigger vehicle, like we did, expect to pay for on-street parking as the parking garage does not accomodate larger vehicles. There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and we paid around €18 per day to park overnight. There is an app that can be used to make paying for parking easier. We did a lot of walking so there was no need to move the vehicle.

Location was excellent. Condition was ok. More an apartment than a hotel. Not much service to speak of. Bit annoyed with ants in the place, but mostly harmless. Hardly spent any time in the room, so was not an issue. Beware of hotel parking if you have an SUV as they are not equipped to handle large cars.

As the hotel is located in the heart of Wencslas Square, was in proximity to the old town monuments,major shopping area, about 500m from Central Train station. The stay was very comfortable for our family. Except only one standing fan, was provided, even though we had two bedroom apartment booked for a family of four. Melantrich apartments worked very well for us. THe location is just FANTASTIC, it is so convenient and near everything! The apartment itself is very spacious and quiet, despite the fact that the location is so central. The apartment could benefit from a little refreshing and there was a not so pleasant smell in the living room area of our apartment, but we did not mind it too much, especially considering that the beds were so comfortable and the bed linens were so fresh. Overall, an excellent stay.

The hotel and staff I didn't have a problem with and the location was excellent. The reason I wouldn't recommend it to a friend is the clientele who stay there. Unfortunately, there were large groups of foreign travellers staying in some apartments, who were bringing large amounts of alcohol with them and obviously drinking.
Lots of yelling and banging of doors in the early hours. What concerned me the most is that people can smoke in the apartments and it wouldn't take much for one drunk to fall asleep in bed while smoking and start a fire; in fact, I think it's only a matter of time.

When we got the room and it was number 615 the toilet door was in bad condition and could not be closed. I told the receptionist about this, but no one fixed it or even changed the room for us. No one enjoyed using the toilet during the entire stay.
