Great location. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and everything is within walking distance. With the current road construction (Oct 2025) parking is tricky as there are limited spaces and the closest option is street parking.

The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel were top notch. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when we approached for recommendations. Hotel was also extremely quiet in which we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was decent and the staff, once again, were on top of the cleanliness of the restaurant and restocking the food items. We would recommend this place to everyone.

The details for the hotel state there are smoking areas, THERE ARE NOT. They say you can only smoke in the street! Why was I not informed when I specified a smoking room? We only booked this hotel as the description said smoking areas, which there are none. Hotels.com must update this hotels details. Wasted money could have gone to a cheaper hotel.
Very bad smell in suite for whole of the stay. Neither TV’s worked, one would not power on, the other only had premium channels (Netflixs etc) where you must login. No terrestrial channels, message: problems with the aerial?
Also, had to take 2 different lifts to reach our suite after walking down 2 corridors.
Very unimpressed will never use again.

Disappointing. Limited on-site facilities with pool and gym located in nearby premises and subject to a charge. Breakfast is the only meal served and no bar/lounge is .available.

Room service is basically a tidy-up and used cups and glasses were not replaced.. The foyer is small and is easily crowded. Check-out is at 11:00 and not noon.

I booked Ramada, got it confirmed, when I came to the hotel there was a note on the door that it is closed, and that I should go to EAhotels Julis. Only 5 mins walk, but a lot lower standard. Very bad customer service that the hotel did not tell me before.

Generally, the Hotel facilities were pleasing but this was all cancelled out as we could not sleep in the unbearable room conditions. Clearly the air conditioning did not work or is so poorly maintained that it was almost unbearable during the night and we could hardly sleep. Despite asking staff to look into it, nothing changed and it ruined what was generally a great stay in a great city.

Very comfortable hotel on the famous central square. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is both copious and elegantly presented.
The airport transfer system of shared minicabs is excellent and for seniors (over 70) like me, Prague local tranport is free--if you provise an identity photo and éà Czech crowns.

1) They charged my credit card much after check out for unknown charges. I lodged complaint for the same. 2) To reach my room we had to walk 3 corridors and 2 lifts everytime. 3) 3 of the 6 rooms we had the was stinking throughout the day. Probably due to bad / zero ventilation.

The Location is the only thing you are paying for

The Hotel is situated at the best possible place and that's the greatest it gets. The infrastructure is old,The towels are moldy, the breakfast is boring, the TV only plays Czech Channels and is not workig half the time(AnalogTV), the Wi-fi is strong if you're close to a router or else it keeps disconnecting, and they make you pay for everything. That includes instant tea and coffee, and even for asking for empty plates in the room(90CZK to deliver empty plates)

I complain because I paid what I would pay for a pretty fancy place elsewhere in Europe . At that price you expect a little more. At least you get more in other Hotels in Europe for that price.

On th other hand the staff were very nice and helpful and that's one of the best things about this stay.

Stay here if you get a good deal for the location or rlse I'd skip it. Most of thr attractions in prague are within walkingg distance of this place though it's a bit away fromthe airport

WiFi was intermittent and frustrating. Confusion sometimes at breakfast. Plenty of staff but they are shy about communicating how to find things in the dining room.
I listened to front desk staff laugh at a man who questioned his bill and worried about money, as he walked away. That's not cool.

It's a good hotel at decent location. I have stayed at different hotel the night before. The hotel was more expensive but very filthy with airconditioner mal-funtioning. I have changed to Ramada at better price with better facility. Young Staffs were kind and efficient.

Nice hotel and very convenient

The hotel was right in Wenceslas Square so in the heart of the city. The rooms are lovely, bed comfortable, shower hot and nice toiletries and towels. However there was a kettle and cups but no tea coffee etc and the bottled water in the room and snacks nuts etc all had price tags. I was charged £2.86 for the desk to ring me a taxi.
I would definately return for the location but I felt the services were a little mean.

The receptionists were superb and very helpful and cheerful but the resturant wasn't at the same level. I was forced to taste some meetin the breakfast because information was not informative on the recipes though I am vegetrian.When reporting the problem to the catering staff the promised to change but nothing changed..plus breakfast menue was hardly changed. Toileterry in room was never changed after the first day during my 10 days stay.

(-) generally its hotel 3+ stars and not 4 stars, room furniture was in senescence condition and required changing, safe box was not sequred to the wall just placed on the wardrobe shelf, towels was chenged once during 4 days, no additional electrical outlets for computer charger, wi-fi not work in the room only in restorane and lobby.

Well positioned hotel in the middle of Wenceslas square within walking distance of the old town and other places of interest. The hotel is fine as a base with comfortable clean rooms. The breakfast is limited but does provide a choice of hot and cold food. Coffee is provided but latte or cappuccino is extra. There is an extra charge for tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A kettle is standard but you have to pay for the tea and coffee! Overall a good choice of hotel from which to explore the city. The staff are helpful and pleasant.

Right on Wenceslas Square, 5 mins to station and 10 to old town. Lots of shops/bars/retsurants right on door step. Really helpful staff, I wanted a smoking room, all had gone so he gave me one with a balcony overlooking the back. Good choice at breakfast.

When we arrived at 10pm we were given a letter to say that our room was double booked (whose fault?) and that we were being moved to another hotel and that a taxi would be provided to move us. This in fact was a porter who took 1 of our 2 cases for us to a hotel across the square. We had to take the other. This hotel (Julis) was less impressive on all fronts and we were shown to a double room - I had booked a twin. When I questioned this I was told that they had no twin rooms and that this was the best they could offer. I said this was not acceptable and after phone calls and a considerable wait a twin room was found in the rokoko hotel up the road. Again only 1 of our 2 bags was portered for us. Needless to say this was a tiring and disappointing start to our weekend. Staff at the ramada and Julis were just polite enough but not overly interested in helping us with the problem they had themselves created. Staff at rokoko were excellent

It is in a fantastic location. There is not much of a lobby in this hotel. The only minus point about this hotel is the Wifi. You can only use the Wifi (password provided when you check-in) in the room. The connection is dropped automatically if you don't continuosly use the Wifi. You will then need to key in the password again as the device is unable to log in automatically. However, the speed of the connection is very good.

On the sunny side of the square. Great location for seeing the city on foot. Fab pavement cafe right outside with great service (we got 15% off all bills as we were in a group.)

Had second floor suite which was huge. All amenities you'd expect. Excellent breakfast s. Very helpful and courteous desk staff.

The hotel is situated in a great location, walking distance to old town and very close to two metro lines and the tram. The hotel staff was ok, I would have liked the breakfast staff to be more pleasant. Speaking of the breakfast, it wasn't bad or anything but it did leave a lot to be desired. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would likely stay here again.

A highly mediocre hotel

I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.......

1) Lousy air conditioning. When I brought this to the attention of the reception staff, I was told nothing could be done as the entire hotel was set at a warm temperature (far too warm for me to be comfortable). So I had to sleep with the windows open and listen to the street cacophony all night long!

2) I wasn't offered a wifi code on checking in. Had to ask for it myself.

3) The room safes are far too small to put anything inside (apart from passport and cash). Also, they have a primitive key system and no number codes to operate them.

4) After entry, I realised that one needs to troop down to reception to get the key to the safe! The key they gave me didn't fit in the safe so I had to call for the hotel carpenter who deduced that the safe lock was broken and then proceeded to spend an hour in my presence changing the lock, drilling away furiously!

5) The room cleaning crew did not replace the hotel conditioners and liquid soaps even once during my 3 night stay.

6) The bathroom had a musty smell throughout.

7) Awful breakfast, in terms of lack of choice and poor quality of food.

8) This hotel is a cubbyhole of a place with a tiny reception area, whoever gave it a 4-star rating must've been out of their senses at the time! An extremely old fashioned retro style of decor too.

9) Corridors smell of smoke as it has many smoking-allowed rooms!

10) Wifi does not work in the reception area!!

The hotel is in a convenient place for shop[s/restaurants and tourist walks etc. Rooms are pleasanrt although no coffee/tea making facilities. breakfast is quite good. Only problem with deliberate attempt to overcharge us for a late check out that had already been agreed! Another customer before us had exactly the same problem and did pay a charge with much complaining.

The hotel is close enough to the clock square and to all the main attractions. The lobby is very small, but the rooms and the rest of the structure is very comfortable. Bathroom is pristine. The rooms on Carmen tower has balcony looking to the city.
The reception team and the bell boy are very helpful. We didnt try the food nor the internet speed.

In the middle of everything

A budget hotel in the middle of the main square, though, the room was very quiet (other than the inconsiderate other guests on the floor).
The 'queen bed' was two single beds pushed together and made up as single beds (two very small duvets).
If you want to be in the middle of everything, and are just looking for a budget friendly place, this place would suit you.
If I returned to Prague, I wouldn't stay here again - I'd stay in a less touristy area.

The Ramada was perfect for our two day overnight excursion to Prague. Located on the main drag.. walking distance to Old Town Center. Receptionist were all very friendly and helpful as was room service. The breakfast buffet was very nice.
We extended our trip an extra day which was no problem. The only thing is the parking garage is around the corner. There was a wait at times to have the car brought around.
All in all ... you can't go wrong with this hotel. The heaters work well... we needed it to thaw out. Prauge in the winter!!!

I travelled to Prague with two friends and we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We've got nothing but good things to say - location was great, staff were helpful, room and bathroom were large and spotless, was quiet at night and beds were really comfortable. We didn't sample breakfast any of the days but restaurant looked nice as well. Overall would definitely recommend this place
