The hotel does not really correspond to 5* and the prices are often completely out of proportion to the price/quality. Bad wine 0.15l for 200 CZK, etc. The hotel is relatively recently renovated, but our Deluxe room did not look like it. What we can definitely praise is the staff, both in the hotel and in the bar. As a first time traveler overseas I felt immediately welcomed at Falkensteiner Hotel from the second I walked in the door. Petr at the front desk is a gem of a human being and helped me feel at ease as a guest in a brand new place. The room was beautiful, everything was clean and elegant, and all the staff I met at the desk and the Monkey Bar were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the breakfast if you plan to stay, it was out of this world delicious! The next time I’m in Prague I can easily say Falkensteiner will be one of my stops in my travels again. :)

The hotel is not in a great area. We had to walk thru the park next to the hotel and it was pretty dirty. Did not like the steps to get into the hotel. Lugging luggage and no one came to help.
