The location of the hotel is great. It’s an easy walk to most tourist spots. Nice breakfast included. Our room faced north and so quite dark even with the lights on (once we figured out which switch to operate them) same with dining room. Rooms to the rear of the hotel probably brighter and less constant noise from streetcars.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom area is slightly small but it was sufficient. The breakfast was nice and we could always get a table. The only downside was that the hotel bar was closed. Location was perfect for what we wanted although a little walk into the old town. Would stay here again.

Air conditioning in room was useless. room was 28c when arrived due to both radiators in room on highest setting, turned them down & thankfully windows open so called the room that way.
Would be nice if they had a bar, says closed for refurbishment but simply looked closed to me.

Very comfortable room near the main rail station.

We were very pleased with our choice for 1 night in Prague. Close to New Town and the main rail station. Very comfortable bed and room. Nice art deco touches in the furnishings, including designers we were familiar with. We had a nice room on the top floor. Very recommended.

We just loved our stay here for below pointers-
1- all front desk employees extremely helpful and friendly.
2- location is great ,all attractions in walking distance (charles bridge ,lenon wall)

An average hotel in a good location with friendly

An average hotel quite close to train station.
Also just a few minutes to shopping area and restaurants. The room decoration is somewhat unusual, very bright, may not suit everyone taste. The receptionist, Petra, is very friendly and helpful, and directed us to a good money changer across the road. She likes to talk to tourists and has a great character.

I loved this hotel for many reasons. The location is great as it is only about a ten minute walk into the centre. All of staff were friendly and always helped when we needed them, nothing was ever too much or too little. The breakfast is decent as well and very convinent hours. The hotel in general was clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable this for me is very important as I have stayed in other hotels and my back has been sore from sleeping on them. I would love to come back to this hotel again.

The hotel interior looks modern and new. The room is clean and comfortable even though it’s small. Breakfast is very good.

Bathrooms are not practical no place to put your stuff in toilet nore in the bathroom, small rooms , amenities are so poor, no slippers no cotton tige....

Location is good as it a short walk from the main train station and many of the key areas are walkable or you can get a tram. Due to the proximity of the hotel to a tramline you do hear and feel the trams going by and so that might be an issue for light sleepers. The room was a good size with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Our air conditioning unit was not very good which meant our room was far too hot and we had to open the window to let cool air in. Breakfast in the hotel was pretty good with a a good selection of hot and cold items. Hotel staff were generally polite.

During our stay unfortunately it looks like some money was taken from the desk in my room. I had a few euros left from my previous trip to Germany and I had put them on the table with some of my other belongings. On the last day when I was packing I noticed they had gone - at the time I thought that I must have packed them already or my partner had picked them up. When I arrived home they were not in my bag nor had my partner taken them so the cleaning staff must have taken them. Perhaps, even though the cash was amongst other belonging, they thought it was a tip I don;t know. But it serves as a reminder not to leave valuables or cash out in your room. This left me feeling rather negative about my stay in this hotel hence the 2/5 overall score.

The room layout attempted to make good use of the space available though the area between the toilet door and fridge/minibar/sink felt quite compressed. The main living area was fine though. It was clean and quite modern though there was an occasional smell from the shower drain. Bed was comfy and the small living area was sufficient to relax in. The location was good, five minutes walk from the main train station and ten to fifteen minutes walk from the main centre. The buffet breakfast was good and the restaurant was nice. Staff were, in the main, very friendly.

Our stay was excellent. From check in to check out everything was perfect. The hotel is basically across the street from the main train station. It's in walking distance to everything, and close to both the Tram and the Metro. The room is everything you'd need for comfort. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here 10 years ago and it was great, stayed here over Xmas 2016 and this hotel has gone down hill. The room smelled of sewerage, the heating was fixed, the noise of people running up and down the corridor meant sleepless nights. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room which meant paying for a drink at night. The room was dirty and decor was old and shabby. This hotel has not changed over 10 years except the age and run down facilities. The key card entry reset every night which meant travelling up and down 6 levels to get reset.

Not impressed and hoped to have the great experience I had 10 years ago.

Don't send out for laundry. Promised it by 8a. Then 10a. Then that night was told not until next day. Still don't have it and delayed a day now. Fantastic breakfast though, and if you are using the train, it's a perfect location. Easy to Old Town too.

Prague is great city and this hotel was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was fine. 1st and 4th floors allowed smoking but hotel did not disclose that until AFTER my traveling companion complained about smell...she was told she was on a smoking floor although she requested non smoking. If you object to cigarette smoke, book elsewhere.

Disappointed with the level of service I received at 987 hotel. I was a returning customer with enjoyable first visit mainly due to the room I was given. This time I had booked two rooms and had contacted the hotel before to request a similar room on the top floor. To my dismay, not only I was not given rooms on the top floor, it was totally the opposite and gave me 2 rooms on the 1st floor. When I expressed concern about the noise level from the street trams, she nonchalantly told me that they were the only available rooms (which I later observed that the hotel was NOT full and the receptionist probably just didn't want to cooperate).

The next day, having had very little sleep due to the said noise, I complained to the reception. By now, a different receptionist (I believe called Petra with long black hair who was much more caring than the 1st one) was at the desk. She kindly agreed to move me to a different room. I was told to pack my bag in the morning so that it can be moved to the new room during the afternoon. When I returned in the evening I noticed that my bag was still in the old room. As I needed my stuff, I offered to move it myself but a man at the reception said that he would have to come with me. So he followed me to the room I guess they thought I might steal something!! That is low.

Overall the only positive about the hotel was Petra’s care shown and the breakfast ladies who worked really hard to keep the guests happy.

Close to train station right across the street.

Check in was quick and easy in this trendy, chic hotel. My stay was great except for a few minor issues. Firstly, the door slam quite heavy and with people in and out it is a disruption. When I left for breakfast the cleaning lady was near me so I put out my sign to clean. After breakfast I went back up and she was still nearby so guessed she'd come back to me. After a long day of walking about town came back to sign still on the door and the room not clean. I was told to wait in the lobby but I went out and walked another mile and the room was then cleaned. This made my rating lower.

Beware of Nonrefundable Special Rates

Beware before booking a special price non-refundable reservation at this hotel. I understand the laws of supply and demand but that doesn't make me any less unhappy about paying twice ($155) the online advertised rate ($77) available the week of my stay.

Even more disappointing, I was given one of the smallest rooms in the hotel (maybe 1-2 feet wider than the bed itself) on the top floor. When I asked for a nicer room, especially given the price I paid, I was told that my room was one of the best. What a bold faced lie! It doesn't take a genius to look at the room plan on the back of the door, the height of the windows on the other floors, peek in a room being cleaned, or look at the room photos on the hotel's website. The front desk clerk refused to offer me another room, unacceptable customer service.

Also, the bed was uncomfortably hard.

Lessons learned. Think twice and beware of booking non-refundable rates.

Stylish and good facilities around the hotel. Comfortable walking distance from pragues hustle and bustle but some friendly local bars help you to enjoy a around trip. It was our mini moon and we loved every second in this beautiful city. Until next Time!

Nice, modern, clean hotel in central Prague

We had a great stay. We booked this place as the reviews were very good and was also across the park from the train station - that was a HUGE plus for us. We had booked a Kingsuite room for 3 (2 adults and one child) and while it was a bit small due to the size and quantity of luggage it was very nice, modern and comfortable. While the guy who checked us in seemed a bit disinterested in our arrival that night, thankfully the rest of the staff ie the bar man, the concierge and the two other reception staff we encountered were awesome. They were all very helpful, friendly and talkative. The breakfast was great, as was the nightly menu service. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the sundaes. The nightly reception area ambience and the seating areas were also very nice. We were disappointed with the Sightseeing bus service. While pickups were at our front door, 5 buses that passed us were full and we had to walk into the city centre to start our journey. Perhaps the hotel when booking trips, let the people at the other end know that there are people at the hotel waiting. Having been on the bus tour, we figured our pretty quickly that we were very close to the city - about a 8 min walk - that was great! We would definitely recommend that people stay here!

A one night stay for an early morning train. Perfect location; great service by the staff. The modern design was uncomfortable... Glass doors to bathroom look nice but are not very practical. The bed was pretty but hard as a rock. I would stay again for the convenience but not for a long stay.

Great but too modern; dobrý ale až moc moderní

Overall, an excellent hotel with great location to City center, transport, rail. Our room was also excellent, but a bit weird with its en-suit and toilet arrangement (as two separate cubicles, with loosely 'closing' doors, all glass and gaps and all), as well as its wash-basin, which was in the room itself. A bit far too modern for us and a bit impractical. But that was the only thing. All the rest, the room, the bed, TV, chairs, bar fridge, everything else was great. The breakfast was GREAT, plenty to choose from, warm and cold choices, and not with stale bread or cakes as in a near-by hotel Zlatá Váha, that we had the misfortune to stay in for a few nights. And it was a far more quieter and very spacious room, esp. if compared to our nightmare stay at Zlatá Váha hotel. Naturally, 987 was quite a bit more in price, but more than worth it, if only just to get a good night sleep. The great breakfast was just another bonus.

Great bargain for a beautiful hotel

Great contemporary design with nice amenities and a wonderful breakfast included. Very convenient to the central train station, but a bit further from main tourist area. The ONLY drawback was that the hotel is on a streetcar line and our rooms were over the street. We adjusted to the sound of the streetcars and they did seem to stop after 11 p.m. I would stay again but would ask for a room off the street--rate was also incredible.

Beautiful and comfortable

Super convenient - right across the street from the train station but not noisy. Staff were helpful but not super friendly. But, it seemed like they were trying to be that way because the hotel is super modern and \"chic,\" so it seemed like they were trying to be \"cool and aloof.\" The beds were very comfortable, we loved the rooms. We would definitely stay there again.

Decent hotel in a great location

Had to catch an early train at the main train station in Prague so I spent a night at the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located 2-3 mins away from the train station.

The rooms were clean and the staff was pretty helpful.

Perfect location, great modern room, great breakfa

Nopthing bad to say. The hotel is a quick walk from everything in the old town and close to the train station. It's clean and modern and has a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Great hotel - great shower!

My wife and I stay here for one night before returning home to the United States. We thought the hotel was wonderful! The shower had a rainfall head with great water pressure. It was quite a treat. We booked the night before and saved 20%. Also very convenient to take Hop on Hop off bus from there. The stop is right in front of the hotel.

we arrived early morning, wasn't any problem to have the breakfast even was before booking, and later we had theroom 13.00 before normal check-in
