Great location-close to everything. The room has the bare minimum: there is no teapot or microwave, so breakfast is the only option if you want to eat at the hotel.

I'm not sure about other guests, but I got food poisoning after breakfast (however, my friends staying at the same hotel didn't have any problems).

This hotel is definitely good for a short-term stay.

Lovely comfortable beds...great powerful shower.
Clean...and only minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. Good value.
Down side...if your room is at the front...a tram stops outside every minute...which is quite noisy!
No hospitality tray which would have been nice.
Basic but adequate room. Breakfast was continental and acceptable.

this place is a hidden gem. its not a 5 star, but it is a great place to stay. its close enough to everything. the staff are great and the check in was easy. the room was clean and comfortable. also, because you need a code/card for everything, it is safe. the breakfast was amazing. the choices are standard to other places, but it was fresh, good, and you can get your fill. the staff work hard to keep the place clean, and you can see it. i would definitely stay here again.

Big drawback is smokers blocking the door most times we came and went... overall Europeans seem to smoke and vape all over without a care for blowing smoke on others (including my child), but the hotel could establish a no smoking zone around the main door

Front desk staff can use some training in customer service, as our first point of interaction we were met with a lady that appears quite frustrated and unwilling to assist. Rooms as pictured but dated. The room we got the first night the AC did not work which made the room extremely hot. We were told to open the windows and offered a small desk fan that barely circulated air. After some arguing and asking if we can have another room, it was initially declined but then sorted out.

Very nice staff. Close to train station. Walkable to the old town and lots of restaurants around. Spacious room. No air-conditioned but there is a ceiling fan in my room. I kept windows open all the time so that the room was not too hot. In general, I enjoyed my stay in Prague.

Ordered this hotel for the second time because of the convenient location for our family (walking distance to train, airport bus, downtown). Received great customer service. I’ve seen effort in helping me to find corc screw in the hotel kitchen. We also ordered breakfast to go because of early check out and we picked up in the evening. It was big breakfast! Very appreciated. Thank you for all. Will be back again!

This hotel is in a great location near the train station which is also where the Airport Express bus stops. It’s a short walk to the old town and many restaurants. My room was basic but clean and I was on the quiet side of the building. I loved that my bathroom had an openable window. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices and fresh fruit. Breakfast room staff are to be commended for constantly replenishing food and cleaning tables.

We arrived earlier than the official check-in time, and the lady at reception was very friendly and accommodating. She kindly allowed us to check in early and return later to collect the keys which we did around 1 PM.

The room was spacious, clean, though fairly basic. The shower had good water pressure, although the hose was slightly leaking not a big issue, but worth noting.

The location is great about 10 minutes’ walk to the Old Town centre and close to other attractions. The hotel also offers breakfast with a good variety of options, which we really appreciated.

The only downside was the noise. The windows seemed a bit old and thin, so we could hear the trams passing and the main entrance door slamming frequently.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would likely return.

Property was decent for the price. If you're expecting luxury, this is not it, but it seems pretty well run with friendly helpful staff. For me i wanted somewhere that was decent at avreasonavle price and thats what I got. The location was great for me as its a 5 min walk to the main train station which is how I came and left Prague. I didnt find it as noisy as some other reviewers said despite being on the front of the hotel. Yes, there are trams, but its the middle of a large city, so thats pretty normal. The hotal has a nice atmosphere and is pretty quiet, despite many young people staying when I was there (evidenced at breakfast). I liked it.

The room I was in was small, clean and comfortable, but stuffy. When the outside temperature went up to over 25 deg C, this is when the room became very uncomfortable. I had a room on the ground floor, with my windows opening out onto a small court yard, with the windows open there was no air flow and the room became uncomfortable to sit or sleep in. I asked at reception for a fan to help cool the room. But the reply I got from the reception person was, sorry you can not have a fan as you do not have a deluxe room. I checked with my friend who staying in the same hotel and paid the same price as I did for his room, which included a fan. So I will not be staying at this hotel again. Also I suggest that Hotels.com should have a word with the hotel owners, at how their guests are treated, or take the hotel off there books. I was very disappointed and will not be staying there again. I will think twice before I believe any hotel write ups and look more at the guest reviews. Be careful out

We were asked to use auto check in on arrival so did so. As we were doing this other guests were approaching the checkin desk and appeared to be checking in no problem. We completed auto check in and couldn’t complete as we had to “go to the desk” to queue and collect room cards!! Should have just checked in the old fashioned way itfp! The room was small but didn’t matter as we were not here to stay in the room we wanted to be out and about. Our room was front facing right outside were the trams, the whole room rattles when the trams go past and they go past a lot. The wardrobe in the room is like the leaning tower of Pisa! The bathroom had a leak coming from somewhere we couldn’t find where but the floor was flooded in a morning so had to be mopped with towels. Don’t get me wrong, we were not expecting the Hilton and would I stay again? Probably if the price is right again. Its location is pretty ideal tbf and allows you to get around easily.

Negative:
Front desk staff- They are only there to check you in. That’s it. No other help. No smiles. No suggestions.
Breakfast room is too small. People had to wait in line to get in and same food every day.

I would stay again and do recommend if you want a nice, no frills hotel.

Limited ammenities in the room. Shower was too tall. No fridge. Windows (ceiling) wont open. No view. Requested double bed but got two singles. Whole room shook whenever a tram went by. No sound proofing so you could hear other visitors in the hall. Room however was sizable. Self check in kiosk does not work so there was a long queue.

Very nice place to stay. Super close to train station and only a short walk to the city square. Its a very old building (like most are) rooms are fairly small BUT it was clean, good WiFi, very comfortable. Trolly tracks run 15 feet from the front door.

We had an overnight in Prague to catch a train early morning. This was perfectly located and priced for that. Our standard double was actually bigger than expected with more storage. It was 2 twin beds pushed together which is loads better than a US double. There was no kettle or anything in the room it was very basic. The only issue I had was we were on the first floor and the tram went by all night just below the window. Normally I would be okay with it but having to get up early always makes it harder for me to sleep and the tram did not help.

The pictures are not at all like the actual room. The room was so small - there was no space next to the beds. Two people cannot walk side by side. The pictures are much better and show a completely different room. I do not believe that the room was 18m2 as described on Expedia.

There was a total of 1 plug point available in the entire room and at a very inconvenient location.

The shower doors cannot close. They are not long enough to cover the full side. Water will inevitably leak and puddle into the bathroom. There was no drainage in the bathroom to remove that water. The shower head stand was broken so the shower head kept falling and would not stay in place.

The room was right next to the road and tram line. And every 5-10 mins a tram would pass and the entire room would shake and it was so loud. Poor construction? No soundproofing.

The breakfast they advertised as included was the saddest breakfast Buffett I have seen. Basically boiled egg was the only substantial item. Some veggie pieces, some meat slices, bread, jam and coffee.

All in all, probably the worst room we lived in all of Europe (we stayed in ~15 different hotels, hostels, and guesthouses during our trip)

Without a doubt, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.
If you have a street facing room, YOU WONT SLEEP! The noise of the trams outside are so loud! And, they run all night! What’s even worse is they won’t ever install double glazing because apparently they are not allowed to due to building restrictions.
I did request on being moved. At first, I was denied by the very unhelpful staff (the worst one is a small short guy with glasses, so rude!). I did eventually get to speak to the main manager who then arranged for me swap to a disabled room at the back of the hotel. This room had damp patches, a weird smell and the sound of the kitchen very early in the morning.
The whole 3 nights I stayed there, I didn’t get a decent nights sleep at all.
The only positive this hotel has is the location. About a 5 minute walk from all the Old Town.
Having said that, there are plenty more hotels in Prague to chose from. Don’t stay here!

This hotel is very convenient to Hlavni Nadrazi and Old Town. The breakfast buffet was decent. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the photos shown on the website are very deceptive. The rooms are very basic. There is barely enough space to manuever around the beds. There were no fans, air conditioning, or any air movement in the room. The floor was very dirty and I do not think that the maids ever vacuumed. It was quite stuffy. I booked the room based on location and photos; but was very embarrassed when I opened the door and saw it. I was treating my new family to a holiday and was very disappointed in this room. I think that this room would be fine for someone who just got out of prison or had been living in a cave. It certainly is not suitable for people on holiday. I would have checked out immediately, but the other hotels in the area were booked up as it is a busy time in Prague and there was a concert. I would only recommend this for homeless people who need emergency shelter. I can only state that everyone should read reviews and not believe or trust photos.

The hotel is older but very comfortable. The staff offered many services I had not asked for and charged nothing for helping me. Every staff member was very nice and professional. The breakfasts change daily. There are many things to eat there. I got a single room for a very good price. I asked for an extra night and they gave me almost the same price as I paid in my original deal. The location is very good for getting around Praha 1. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops within three blocks of the hotel. I never needed to take transportation even though it snowed the first day and rained other days. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean comfortable hotel at an affordable price. I will definitely stay there again. Jen

Good location, friendly staff, but hot in summer

We arrived in Prague via an overnight train, and the hotel was located just a small park away from the train station, which was very convenient if you're dragging luggage with you (Prague's cobblestone streets and sidewalks make that difficult). Even though we came in at 7 a.m., the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage and use the washroom, allowing us to get out to see the city very bright and early and refreshed. It's about a 10 min walk to the old town square, and a tram station and supermarkets are located near by. The room itself was a little faded and old, and unfortunately we visited in mid-Sept with the heat wave still ongoing, so the room was very hot during the day. There is no fan or air-conditioning so take note if you're visiting in summer. Our booking came with the buffet breakfast each morning, which was quite good - decent spread of food (cold cuts, selections of bread, cereal, hot food like sausages or eggs) so get you off to a good start to your day. Overall, we had a good stay.

A bit away from major tourist spots which was good for us. Comfortable rooms but a bit small. The tram also has 3 routes next to the hotel which is loud if you are on the street side. However, nice friendly staff, easy to get to the train and a easy walk to major shops and tourist spots. .Lovely breakfast served in a pleasant dining room.

Basic Accommodation in a Great Location

Situated in the Old City, this hotel is within walking distance to all touristy places. It has easy access to the trams if you don't fancy the walk. You're also not too far from the main train station or metro so location wise it's perfect. In terms of home comforts it's a slight step up from a hostel but still very basic. What we didn't realise until we got there is that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING! As we were holidaying during mid summer this meant our room sometimes got very hot! The breakfast was adequate although we were surprised there was no fresh fruit other than apples. If you're not too fussed about home comforts then this hotel will provide all you need for a short city break.

The hotel itself was fine. The breakfast was lacking. And we had a street facing room which had loud trams running from 4 am to midnight. The weather was insanely hot and like most European hotels there is no AC so windows had to be open all the time. If you have to stay here, insist on a courtyard room.

Hotel location is fantastic for a city break with the Old Town square a 10 minute walk away. Hotel is clean and comfortable but could perhaps do with a bit of modernising and redecoration in some areas.
The only negatives I could review would be that our room on the 4th floor had no conventional window but instead had the sort of high level window you would associate with a loft conversion in that you could only see the sky out of it and not the surrounding area. Also the hotel bar was hardly ever open and would have been nice to use it on the way back from a meal out.

Good in general: Fast internet, affordable to backpacker And friendly and caring staff...only the sound isolation not perfectly done as if you can hear to adjacent rooms some sexual activity.. you know hotel offers.

Great location - good service - good room!!!

The dancing Hotel!!!
Too noisy the tram line that passed continuously under the hotel. The walls felt the vibration, but for me I couldn't sleep.

This hotel is like 10 minutes walk to subway.

The room is very pleasing and spacious. It was also clean. Although, the receptionist made us pay 12€ extra for our breakfast because he said it’s not included on our one night stay and the included breakfast will be the next morning before we will check out which make sense but I told him that we’re leaving 5am in the morning the next day so maybe we can have the breakfast when we check in. On the other hand, he let us check in early which is good. I asked to be checked in by 8am and got checked in by 10am

Good location

They gave us two dorm rooms with 5 beds in each even though we requested for double rooms. They were in the basement. Internet was only working in the toilets. Heater only worked in one of the rooms. Shower was clean. Breakfast was good and very quickly replenished. Location is very good. But the rooms put us off.

Basic but extremely good value. Highly recommended

Very convenient location, between the main station and the old town. The room was basic but clean, tidy and comfortable and very good value. I plan further trips and will have no hesitation in booking this hotel for those trips.
