Good price, however one big problem. I stayed one night on May 1st 2026. Around 9PM, I heard some noise from the parking lot and found some heavy construction vehicles was about to do something, Yeah in the night. The loud noise continued for several hours and bothered sleeping. There was no notification from the hotel. One of the worst experience. Never recommend.

The City Inn was fine for the 3 nights we were there. Very basic accommodations. Shower was ok and one of the better things about the stay. We paid $70 per night knowing that this would be a basic accommodation. Staff was friendly. We asked for extra towels but no room service, nor cleaning service unless you're there for more than 7 days.

I booked this place simply to sleep and leave first thing in the morning.

Shower was dirty, and area is a bit sketchy, but this was fine.

However, I woke up at 2am and find huge bugs all over the bed crawling around. It was like a horror movie. I immediately call the reception and I am told that there are no other rooms available, that this was "never an issue that they had" and that basically it was my problem to deal with. I was repeatedly told that this was not an problem they had in a way that pointed to me being the issue (I was staying at a 5-star place beforehand for work, at a place I was sure was clean)

I was told they could contact the owner in the morning and until then I could either stay in the same room or leave and find myself another place to stay. I ended up packing my bags and leaving and checking in to another place at 5am and got no sleep.

TLDR: Fully grown bugs in bed, unprofessional staff

Reserved a room for two nights waiting on a route for work and got called around 10a.m on the second day staying here. Went to check out before check out time and asked if I could get a refund for the second night, to which the clerk responded "no refunds". I understand it's not their fault, but it seems a little funky that they kept the money and rented out the room. Not like they let somebody down on their luck stay there for free. Left in a rush and forgot something in my room, but the same clerk lady went to check it's condition to return my deposit, kept that to herself. Pretty sure she saw it now that I think about her demeanor while handing me my deposit back. These dishonest, scammy practices taint the motel more than the condition does. Rooms were clean but noisy and outdated. You can hear everything happening outside and nextdoor. There's one entrance/exit to the property on southbound Federal which also isn't too convenient.

There was no mountain view. There was paint all over the bathroom window. There was a few bugs I'm pretty sure they was roaches. The room stank when I first got there. Not enough parking. No cups or ice neighbors were loud as hell in the early morning hours. Overall NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE. Pictures on website do not look nothing like it does in person. Not only that but you have to pay extra for a late check out. And most places only charge a 50 dollar deposit and here makes you pay 100. I would I'm understand if it was nicer but this hotel is ran down. For sure.

The door to my room could not be locked from the outside using the key. It could be locked from the inside, so if I stayed in the room, I felt safe. But I could not leave once my stuff was moved in. I would have reported it, bnut it was clear the door needed extensive repair that I was sure would not be done before I left.

Window didn't lock or have screen, blood smear on the sheets, filthy floors, all room amenities were unplugged so the fudge smelled awful and took longer than expected to settle in my room. Booked for 2 nights, only stayed a few hours. Room was dirty, smelled foul, and don’t want to know what was on the chairs and what the white substance under the bed was. Advertised as non smoking, our room was very smoky and the bathroom window was left open seemingly to air it out. Woke up with swelling and breathing difficulty due to an allergic reaction to the cigarette smoke. Spoke with front desk employees over the phone and someone over text several times, asked to speak with manager time and time again and was refused, ghosted over text, and was refused a refund. Do not recommend.

Stayed about a week. Front office staff was very friendly and informative, room was very clean (not one bug or spider or dust) and had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Location was generally quiet aside from hearing people walk across the landing or above the room, which is to be expected. Plenty of parking close to every suite. No major issues during the stay, which I'm very grateful for.

I'll admit, I was skeptical. The rate was too good to be true, but it turned out to be a great two night stay for us. The room was squeaky clean. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was spotless. This was not luxury accommodations, but it was everything we needed at an exceptional price point. I would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised by our room as we paid such a low price. The room was very clean and updated. We stayed one night and didn't have any issue with noise. The bed was normal comfort for a hotel, and the sheets were so incredibly soft. We also checked in after hours and the process was incredibly easy. Great water pressure as well, something important to my husband. We would stay again!

Wifi and Tv didn’t work. Staff came multiple times to fix TV box, after 1st time they started blaming me for changing settings but ended up being faulty box. They ask that you take out your own trash to the dumpster and if you need any toiletries or towels they make you come down to the front desk. After knowing all this they still charged me $30 late check out fee bummer. In person staff was friendly only thing i liked.

Had a complication in my living situation so had to resort to staying at local hotels/motels and I absolutely had to give kudos to City Inn during a particularly difficult time of my life. It’s the most affordable stay I’ve been able to find on any given day of the week and satisfies all the basic requirements I needed. Stayed in a few rooms here and each one was clean, comfortable, and had the basic amenities expected from any hotel/motel (heater/ac, WiFi, mini-fridge, microwave, working shower & toilet, soap/shampoo/conditioner). It’s in a great location, close by to major highways, and all the staff are always friendly. Special appreciation to Anu who remembered me from previous visits and took the time to make my stay more enjoyable.

The area seems sketchy and we were awaken in the middle of the night by someone next door arguing about a cigarette. Room was incredibly loud- you can hear all the cars driving by on the freeway and at one point there was pavers outside it was mad loud, couldnt sleep. The bed was uncomfortable since it was literally caved in, the single pillow was thin ,towels were rough and thin. The tile by the sink was already off the wall. The place was so run down. No elevators. The only good thing was the price, which you get what you pay for.

The room was recently remodeled and very clean. They really make you feel welcomed with a personal touch. I had a room on the end closest to the main drag so it was loud with traffic noise during the day but it really quieted down after 8 that evening. Great stay, particularly for the low price. Would definitely stay again.

Take a risk staying at this place. 1) there’s a $100 deposit aside from the total cost. 2) there’s a powerful smell in the room. I can’t say it was a particularly bad smell because it personally didn’t bother me too much, but my sister could not handle it. It’s just powerful. 3) THERE WAS BED BUGS!!! Fortunately we were able to get our money back but we were in the room for about 1 hour when we noticed them and left immediately.

Not a queen size bed, it was a full. Only one pillow per person and calling them pillows is a joke. Traffic sound was terrible, had to leave the 30” tv on all night just to drown it out. It’s $50 a night, but also a reminder to quit being so cheap and pay more for better accommodation next time.

The property was easy to find but we felt unsafe. The room was dirty and in poor condition, .We could not take a shower because water was running too slow .The staff was ok, but the housekeeping was not service daily l.
