Whenever I travel to Prague, this is where I stay. The service is outstanding. Upon arrival you are personally welcomed by a member of staff and taken to sit down. Check in proceeds like a friendly chat, alongcwith complimetary beverages that are available throughout your stay. The hotel itself is in a beautifully maintained historic building and is meticulously maintained and impeccably clean. Rooms are well appointed and the beds are so comfortable it makes you want to get one for home. The included breakfast is amazing with a wide selection of food ranging from strudel, to traditional cakes, right through to all the items you would see in a western hotel breakfast buffet. Add the fact that once again you are personally looked after by a member of the ever attentive staff and you will find yourself never wanting to leave. The quiet location of the hotel is just a short 5 - 6 minute stroll to the main square in the old town. Perfect for enjoying the best Prague gas to offer.

I chose this hotel because of the incredible service reviews — and they were absolutely spot on. From the moment I checked in until the moment I left, the service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and their attention to detail truly made the stay exceptional.

The location is unbeatable as well. It’s within easy walking distance to all the major sights in Prague — the Astronomical Clock, Old Town, Charles Bridge, and even the castle. We were able to explore everything on foot, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

They also arranged airport transportation seamlessly, which made arrival and departure completely stress-free.

I’m so glad I chose this hotel. You really can’t go wrong with this one!

WOW—the service at this beautiful and well-maintained hotel is outstanding.
From Frank, the owner, to the amazing team (like Victoria and Stefan), you feel incredibly welcome. They offer drinks, share Prague tips, and provide every assistance. Highlights included their exceptional generosity with a free local ride and free airport transfer.
The location is perfect: quiet, yet within walking distance of all main attractions.

I would give six stars if I could to Hotel Agnes. Our family of 7 stayed here for five days and the staff catered to our every need. They are very careful not to badger you if you do not want any help but we greatly appreciated the attention. From coffee and desserts upon our early arrival to the wonderful breakfast each morning to the afternoon coffee or beer to the extremely comfortable beds/pillow, there was not one thing I could fault this hotel. The owner was ever present assisting and keeping a watchful eye. The facility itself was charming and immaculate with attention to ensuring a comfortable ambiance. I could list many instances where this hotel exceeded expectations, but I don’t want to spoil it for future visitors.

Nice big room with a good shower. The location was perfect for our trip. Excellent breakfast and nice wine before dinner. We felt safe and walked everywhere. The check in was very good. The staff took care to make sure we had all our questions answered and organized concerts for us and dinners every night. Would love to stay here again.

We were greeted at the door by the owner of Hotel Agnus. He offered us a glass of wine or beer and we felt like we were coming home. Then a lovely hostess Denise came over and asked if we needed anything while we were in Prague. Denise helped us plan a few events and dinners that all went so well. We couldn't have been happier staying at the Hotel Agnus. Special note, great breakfast.

The Hotel Agnes was amazing. I walked in through the doors of the hotel and was immediately greeted, by name, and offered a cup of coffee. Little touches like that tell me this place values its customers and over the next two days it was reinforced. From helping me with directions, offering to get tickets to a concert, and calling me an Uber for the airport when I left. Do yourself a favor, just book this place. The location was perfect and honestly, everything about the Hotel Agnes was phenomenal.

The breakfast was very good every morning. Very good location and close to the attractions of Prague which were very walkable. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with good energy. This place is AWESOME! A great shout out to Frank. He makes the place run like clock work. Our room was 306 and there were no more rooms for the hotel above us. We slept great on our king sized comfy bed. We had air conditioning(a must). Breakfast in the morning was perfect. The wine at mid day was a very nice touch. Who ever worked( usually Frank) would always help us with recommendations and one time he actually drove us in his car downtown. When we left they even gave us a ride to the train station.
This hotel is on a very quiet street not far from Old Town Square. I have no complaints at all

If I could give 10 stars to this hotel I would. It is, without doubt, the most extraordinary customer service I’ve ever experienced in more than five decades of travel.

We stayed here for five nights. We were greeted on arrival with an offer to enjoy a coffee, glass of beer or wine while our host welcomed us with a friendly orientation to the city. Every time we walked into the lobby the staff asked if they could help us in some way. Always with the offer of a coffee or drink. They recommended and booked all our restaurants (all extraordinary), plus tours and concerts and even helped me secure a mani-pedi. They brought coffees to our room. They took time to talk with us. On our last night, the coup d’etat was that the restaurant they recommended was difficult to find, tucked away at the back of a shopping mall, so they insisted on sending a member of their staff to walk with us (about a 15 minute walk).

Oh, the hotel also checked all the other boxes, too. Location was fabulous-an easy walk to all the sights. The breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious with a changing selection of delectable house-baked pastries. Our room was not huge, but the bed was very comfortable. And it was quiet. All you could ask for.

This hotel is very centrally located and is only a short walk from the old town square, many tourist sites and the riverfront walkway.
The staff was wonderful and did their utmost to make us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.
The hotel driver also took us to the train station the day with left.
This hotel was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint!

This hotel is a gem and we cannot fault anything. The pretty room, the comfy bed, the extensive breakfast offering, the sumptuous decor and, above all, the wonderful staff. Everyone is so kind, and so hospitable, nothing was too much trouble and it felt like we were part of a family. Our luggage was delayed for two days and it was obvious that the staff really cared and were genuinely upset for our predicament. Review of Residence Agnes, Prague – A Truly Exceptional Experience

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Residence Agnes in Prague offers the kind of service you dream about but rarely experience – not even at the Ritz or Four Seasons. From the moment we arrived, every detail was handled with warmth, grace and true hospitality.

The staff is absolutely phenomenal. Any question we had was answered instantly, and they consistently went above and beyond. Each time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with a cappuccino or a glass of wine every time – a small touch that made a big impression. They helped us make dinner reservations, offered guidance around the city and truly made us feel cared for.

The location is ideal: just a short walk from Old Town Square, but tucked away enough to be quiet and restful at night. We were even brought cappuccinos and gingerbread cookies to our room – service that was seamless and thoughtful throughout our stay. We can’t thank Stefan, Lucas or Victoria enough. They just went above and beyond.

The breakfast buffet is outstanding – delicious eggs, meats, cheeses, fresh pastries – everything you could want to start your day.

In all honesty, the level of service and comfort at Residence Agnes is unmatched. It’s charming, warm and surprisingly affordable. This is the place to stay in Prague. We can’t wait to return.

This is a customer-friendly hotel in a great location. It was a short walk to the old town, Charles Bridge, and other must-see places. They also offered one complimentary ride per stay, so we used it to go to Prague Castle. When you returned to the hotel, they always greeted you and offered wine, coffee, tea, or other beverages. Breakfast is also included, and it was one of the better breakfast selections I've had in Europe.

My fiancé and I are still in awe of this hotel. It is the BEST hotel to exist - not only because of the actual hotel itself, but the customer service is unlike anything we have ever experienced. The staff make you feel like family and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We got engaged while staying at this hotel and they made us feel so loved. I will rave about this hotel for the rest of my life - we are in love with Hotel Agnes and will be back again. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, regular and luxury, but Residence Agnes surpasses them all. The charm of this little tucked away gem is the first thing you notice…from cobblestone floors, to stone walls, lovely European winding stairs, (there is an elevator) cove ceiling, and the soaring mid ceiling in the lobby. However, the staff all go way above and beyond to cater to your every need. They all know your first name and talk to you as friends rather than cold employees. We checked in very late and Stefan even made us sandwiches as we hadn’t eaten. Natalie, Denise, Victoria and the other two young men whose names escape me , were so kind, friendly, helpful, and attentive that we were constantly amazed. I could go on and on but I will say the quietness of the hotel is superior and the non-governed air conditioning is sublime…

This is simply one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. We are extensive travellers and the quality of service at Hotel Residence Agnes surpassess everything else. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like friends. We received a very informative welcome brief along with some refreshments. The hotel is nearly 800 years old but has been beautifully modernised and decorated. It is within easy walking distance of all the major sites in Prague. They provide an extensive breakfast catering to all tastes. It is the servive however that sets this hotel apart. We were always welcomed back from our adventures and we gathered in the open area with other guests happily talking about the day. It was an stmosphere in a hotel that we hadn't experienced before. Our sincere thanks to all the staff ( Victoria, Stephan, Frank, Frank, Samantha, Luka Natalie) for making our trip so memorable. Truly, this is a magnificent hotel in the heart of Prague old town.

We have traveled quite a bit in the last few years and this hotel is the best we have stayed in. Right from the beginning, the staff made us feel at home with complimentary parking and beer. They continued to suggest things to do including the wonderful 5-hour walking tour. The breakfast was incredible with so many choices. The rooms are very clean and modern with very good air conditioning. It is very quiet and located right in the Old Town section. Would give more stars if we could.

The team at Hotel Residence Agnes elevates ‘customer service’ to ‘customer care’. Their genuine desire to make your stay perfect is reflected in everything they do. From the reception where, besides a welcome drink, they help you plan your stay and sightseeing, to the little things they do to make your stay enjoyable, this may be my best stay at any hotel ever. The room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect, the air conditioning, the bedding and towels, the bathroom fixtures, the warm water in the shower … perfect perfect perfect. Laundry service was super fast and perfect. They were ever ready to make us tea when we wanted, they were ready with a drink when we returned from sightseeing. We had to leave at 4 am and they not only made sure we had transport, they packed us sandwiches in case the airport restaurants hadn’t opened. We enjoyed our stay so much, we might return to Prague just to meet these guys again!

This place was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars they would be 10 stars!!! So accommodating! We got in really late ( after 1 am) and they said-“ we’ll tell you everything you need to know tomorrow- we know you’re tired.” In the morning we missed the crazy amazing breakfast ( we know from the next day) and Victoria said, “ oh so sorry you missed breakfast.” We responded - yes we did. She then proceeded to ask if we wanted coffee, warm apple strudel, and many other assorted pastries! My husband said, “if this is missing breakfast, I will miss again tomorrow😂. “ They also went out of their way, getting us rides, arranging dinner reservations, etc. The service was amazing. We are thankful to Frank, Paul, Victoria, and all the staff for the best service! We can’t wait to go back to Prague. We know where we will stay!

When everyone rates as 5 stars, it seems suspicious. They weren’t kidding. The service is outstanding and they make you feel as if they were welcoming a lost family member home. Great rooms, amazing breakfast and incredible service. Very close walking distance to a lot of attractions. I’d come back to Prague just to stay here again.

our first visit to Prague so I can't compare it to other Prague hotels, nevertheless, relative to boutique hotels in other European or American cities the customer service was unparalleled.
The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed at the Agnes for four nights in early July, and highly recommend
it.

The staff treated us with intensive care, attention and kindness to the level that we felt we were staying at the lovely home of a loving friend's. We've already started to miss them. Hotel Residence Agnes was probably the best customer service experience I’ve had at a hotel, anywhere. Staff consistently went above and beyond (from sightseeing/restaurant recommendations to welcome beverages to amazing breakfast service) and I will definitely be recommending the hotel to friends and family visiting Prague.

Great place!

I recently stayed at Residence Agnes in Prague for one night with my companion, and we wished we could stay longer. The welcome was exceptional; the host personally sat with us, providing phablets and maps to ensure we had everything we needed for our visit. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fresh, delicious options, including outstanding in-house pastries that highlighted Czech culinary tradition. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

This is a very unusual hotel! The staff simply couldn’t have done any better. They were always on hand with advice. They were always available. But it was the little touches that made our stay here so memorable. A drink whenever you want. A free airport transfer. Great breakfasts too!

centrally located, esthetically pleasing romantic ambiance, staffed by experienced, customer focused and very friendly people, not to mention the pint of pilsner for me and tea for my wife, every time we came across the door step. This is by far the best hotel staff I have ever encountered!! My sister and I stayed her for three nights and had the most wonderful time!! From the second we arrived, we were treated to snacks and wine in the lobby and given an overview of Prague sites, tours, dining options, bars etc. The concierge talked with us for about 45 minutes about our itinerary and took care of transportation and bookings for everything.
The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere of the lobby feels like a friendly/warm bed-and-breakfast. We wish we could have stayed a week here!!

Absolutely wonderful. Stop searching for more hotels and just book if your dates are available. They deserve every great review written so far. In 25 years of traveling never seen exceptional staff or service like that - You cannot say enough good things about the staff. They took care of literally everything from dinner reservations, tours and local transportation. Felt like royalty for 2 days. Hotel is an old convent & stable with cobble floor lobby. Very unique Lobby service with drinks and place to sit / socialize with others

We’ve never experienced the level of customer care and attention that the hotel staff provided. It was AMAZING. They took care of everything and did so with very cheerful and happy disposition. The hotel is in a great old town location and walkable to everywhere. Our room was beautiful but not lavish. Breakfast was included and excellent - many options. The staff happily delivered us to the train station when our stay was over - but only after packing us a “care kit” with fruit, water and sandwiches for the train ride. They also would have happily picked us up at the train station when we arrived (we were not aware of that). Victoria and Lucia were so fantastic to deal with. Victoria recommended The Blue Duckling for dinner and it was the best meal of our entire trip. We’d give the property six stars if was possible!

We had an amazing time at Residence Agnes Hotel. It is a quaint charming boutique hotel with the most amazing service and attention to detail. They have a great breakfast buffet and every afternoon they provided us with drinks and snacks. Great location, walking distance to major attractions.
