We had a very good stay at the Botanique Hotel Prague, which is a modern, clean, and comfortable hotel in a highly convenient location.

The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and well maintained. The coffee machine in the room was a really nice touch, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of brut left for our anniversary, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The hotel itself feels modern and well designed, and despite being near major transport links, it was calm and relaxing inside.

One of the biggest positives is the excellent transport connections — tram, bus, and metro links are all just moments away, making it incredibly easy to get around Prague.

There were a couple of downsides worth mentioning. On our first night, the fire alarm was accidentally set off around 6am, which briefly disrupted sleep and was unfortunate, especially early in the stay. At breakfast, while the selection was generally good, vegetarian sausages were not available, which would have been a welcome addition.

Finally, while the hotel itself feels safe and well run, the immediate area outside (near the train station) did have some less-than-desirable characters hanging around at various times of day and night. This didn’t affect our stay inside the hotel, but it’s worth being aware of.

Overall, a very good hotel with excellent comfort, cleanliness, and transport links, and we would happily stay again — particularly for a short city break where convenience and modern fa

Room clean, although unsure when the room was cleaned as on the first day the bed was changed and day 2&3 the room did not look like it was cleaned. Issue with the sink being blocked and had to ask at reception on two deep days for it to be fixed - it eventually ways.
The location of the hotel was perfect for a nice walk into the city or perfect for bus/tram/metro links right outside of the hotel.

This hotel really does what it sets out to do. In addition to being clean, modern and comfortable, the Botanique is really dedicated to green technology, sustainable practices, and eliminating waste. Always stay at the Botanique when I visit Prague. Good location situated next to Florenc UG station. Rooms have been refurbished. Clean and modern. One night though they closed the restaurant and played loud music / karaoke until 11pm. There was no communication of this during check in or during my stay which tarnished my visit somewhat.

We had a great experience at the Hotel Botanique in Prague. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the service was 5-star. The room was also much larger than you typically find in reasonable priced European hotels. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Prague.

I chose this hotel having read reviews about it and I was not disappointed. The hotel is ideally located, within short walking distance to most tourist sites. Excellent transportation options with both trams and subway just outside. Convenience stores nearby and many different restaurants to choose from. The hotel breakfast is also good, and room great with air conditioning. Will definitely book this hotel again next time.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Botanique, Prague, and would happily return. The check-in process was seamless thanks to online registration — all that was needed on arrival was a quick passport check.

The King Executive Room was spacious, comfortable, and well thought out. It had multiple, conveniently placed sockets — including USB and USB-C ports — and a comfortable seating area perfect for relaxing with a coffee. The bed was cosy (though I’d have preferred a firmer pillow), and the bathroom featured a great rainfall shower. The free minibar, stocked daily with beer, soft drinks, and juice, was a lovely touch.

The location is excellent, with tram and bus stops right outside and metro lines A and B just across the road. There are several supermarkets and food outlets (Costa, McDonald's, kebab, pizzeria) within a short walk.

What really stood out was the hotel’s genuine commitment to sustainability. This isn’t lip service — they’ve removed single-use plastics, favour glass and tin packaging, use bamboo room cards and recycled toilet paper, and offer to plant a tree for each day you decline housekeeping. These small but significant steps make a real impact.

One lift was out of service during my stay, which caused minor delays at peak times, but overall, this didn’t detract from a truly enjoyable and environmentally conscious stay.

We loved our stay here. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it an easy 15-20min to walk to the old town square and there are many excellent cafes and bakeries nearby. Not to mention the tram stop directly out the front. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the quality of the restaurant made us want to stay in for dinner. Would stay here again for our next visit to Prague.

The hotel was walking distance from the old city centre but was also opposite a metro station with bus and tram stops right outside. Travelling around was easy. Live plants abound in public areas, friendly, helpful staff. Our bedroom was spacious with a roomy bathroom and the lounge bistro area was welcoming, the food and drink was very good. Breakfast was a varied buffet with a good range of food options constantly replenished. The hotel seemed to cater for both tourists and business and had a good, friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our short stay very much and would happily return.

I liked all the plants around the hotel, it looked very pretty. I also liked the eco friendly nature, how everything was recycled and the ease of recycling rubbish etc. The decor was minimalist which I loved. The staff in the bar and bistro were excellent, as were the housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and I really appreciated the gluten free corner, so lovely to have more options to eat! We had a gorgeous evening meal in the bistro one night, which I could highly recommend. The location of the hotel(although quite noisy and not very picturesque) was super convenient, just opposite a metro station and a supermarket!

The air conditioning across the whole hotel would only pump out hot air.

Our room got up to 29° at night.

When we complained, they offered us a bottle of wine and said there is nothing they could do about it.

Perfect base for a weekend in Prague

We really enjoyed our two night stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We appreciated the airport transfer and the close proximity to the start line of the Prague Half Marathon. I'm a vegetarian and coeliac but the hotel was more than able to meet my dietary needs. Would definitely return!

This property was amazing, the hotel was in a perfect location with access to trams, buses and trains literally on your doorstep - in fact, there were multiple occasions where we walked out of the hotel and straight onto our bus within seconds! The hotel did their best to accomodate our requests and we even extended a night and kept the same room upgrade! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, housekeeping was prompt and did a great job, the hotel smelled lovely as strange as that may be to say haha! They have a huge supermarket just opposite too! We didn’t opt for breakfast as there are too many lovely brunch spots in Prague but I would definitely stay here again :)

Lovely hotel with really nice staff. Very modern and well located. Everywhere was spotless. Would happily stay here again. Early check in, birthday Prosecco and luggage storage were much appreciated.

Literally the only thing I would change is the TV, very limited English channels and no wifi access on the TV so couldn’t watch Netflix etc.

All amenities were provided for, and for anything else, there are shops and restaurants around that can be easily reached on foot in a matter of only minutes. I loved how quiet it was at night especially. Very respectful and helpful staff and service, I wish that I could have stayed much longer than what I had originally planned.

It would have been 5 stars across the board. As myself and my son had a great stay. Breakfast catered for everyones taste, all the staff courteous and friendly. Our only conplaint was just as checking out we did the under the bed check to ensure he hadnt left anything, only to find previous occupants dirty socks!
