I have stayed at the Hilton Prague Atrium several times in the past and have generally had good experiences, which is why I continue to choose this property.

Unfortunately, my most recent stay was disappointing. The check-in process took over an hour, even though it was not during the typical peak check-in time of around 3:00 PM. The room initially assigned to me also had a strong cigarette smoke odor, resembling an ashtray from excessive smoking. This issue was addressed promptly and I was given another room, which I appreciated.

Later that evening around 11:00 PM, I attempted to contact the front desk multiple times to request a dental kit, but no one answered the phone. I was eventually able to reach the desk in the morning, though the request was not resolved.

I shared this feedback during check-out. The staff were polite, but the response focused mostly on explanations rather than acknowledging the concerns raised.

Given my positive past stays, I hope this feedback can be used to improve the guest experience going forward.

The room was clean, staff were generally polite and helpful.
One thing to note was that in my opinion the breakfast did not reflect 5 stars. One day we were even sitted on round tables in the lobby and asked to serve ourselves from a temp buffet that allegedly had all items but didn't. We were eventually allowed to access the main restaurant buffet.
Another small complaint: hash browns were stale and one day even not worm. And the juices were from a box rather than freshly squeezed (at least the orange should be).
I appreciate the hotel was busy but standards need to be kept at 100%. I speak as a former 5* hotel employee.
I know my review sounds negative but in reality breakfast was my only criticism, the rest was lovely.
The city was amazing and I would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

The room and quality of the food couldn't be faulted. Service was also impeccable. However, I couldn't give it 5 stars because overall the hotel just feels too big and impersonal. The sheer number of rooms made the check-in experience rather daunting - although the staff did their best to keep the long queue happy with cakes and glasses of fizz. By contrast, the swimming pool and sauna area was surprisingly small and often very crowded. Fine for business, less so for a relaxing city break.

The hotel grounds is really nice, as was the room and staff. I don’t normally have negative things to say about a hotel but:
1. The check in process took almost an HOUR - I’ve never seen a line like that before. There were a lot of staff too, and once served it didn’t take long at all, but the queue was massive.

2. Water pressure in shower was weak

3. The minibar wouldn’t open and despite raising it to the front desk, no one was sent to come fix it

Room was in great condition. Only downside is too much noise in the morning for no reason. There was barely anyone staying on my floor and the other day at 8AM one of the employees was obnoxiously knocking on my door even though I had a do not disturb sign. I was already having trouble falling asleep to adjust to the time and that disturbed me. I was also approached by another employee not sure if he was working for a car company or what but he was lurking around the lobby each day and asked me if I was alone! Totally nerve wrecking.

My sister and I had an amazing time at the Hilton Prague. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful, including the bartenders at the Cloud 9 bar. The hotel was very clean and we had no issues. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague.

A new owner has taken over this hotel and corners are being cut. The room was fine except for the bugs coming out of the bathroom. Javier the ass manager because they no longer have an overall manager was first abusive about us complaining of the bugs. He thought bed bugs but there are a fruit flies in bathroom obviously breeding in ceiling. Javier was not good just wanted to abuse customers but one our complaint was heard about a junior suite we were finally moved to a good suite, however we only ever asked for spray for the bugs and were happy to stay in the room. The kitchen advertises and charges for rib eye steak that are not rib eye steak but charge for a rib eye. The French onion soup is not, it is just a weak version of an onion soup. One cannot advertised French Onion Soup unless it is a French onion soup:
The gym is amazing and staff very friendly.
The beautician has a man doing facials and it is NOT as good as a female. Left feeling very disappointed.The bar was also amazing and the food as advertised. Well done . Marko, another ass manager is brilliant and if any problems contact him.The executive lounge nothing to write him about, most days we just skipped it as there are no rules about children running around and going crazy. The food is not good and not worth the effort. The alcohol is cheap so you get what you paid for in there.
Overall, an ok hotel that is huge and having difficulties with the size of the facility. The check in wait with 300, shambles.

The facilities were very well maintained and clean, had no issues at all with our stay here. It’s a huge hotel with a lot to offer, well located with good transport options. In particular Mariah from the check in desk gave exceptional customer service. She was very attentive to all of our needs, answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations on what to visit .

Wonderful stay as usual! What stood out most were the amenities; the executive lounge, spa, gym, pool, and sauna were all immaculate and extremely well maintained.
I stayed during New Year’s Eve, and despite the hotel being extremely busy, the staff continued to deliver a high level of customer service. Extra kudos to the team for managing guests from all over the world with professionalism and warmth.
My only critique was during check-in: the young lady assisting me seemed confused by my ID also being a driver’s license. Some additional training on international identification and document differences could be helpful.
Overall, another excellent stay, and I look forward to returning.

Really enjoyed our stay here. This was the first time we have visited Prague. It was nice to have everything close by. I really enjoyed using the fitness center and it was nice to have the market in the front of the hotel for basic needs and there’s also a grocery store called Albert‘s close by. The only problem I had was with the water temperature I would be taking a shower and for some reason, it would go to cold every few seconds overall, the room was great and enjoyed our stay.

Located far from town you have to walk through several major streets to get to places of interest. Poor staff attitude. Receptionist gave us wrong room number and when I went back, instead of apology, she says “just talk to my colleague.” Bistro service slow and attitude poor too. Toilet has got to be the worst design I’ve ever seen. Access constrained by a sink and an in-swing door with a handle that catches your cloth as you walk in. You cannot get in if you’re big (no more than 2 ft clearance by my estimation). Toilet paper constantly falling off the holder….

Excellent location. Near the train station, McDonald’s and a 10 -15 minute walk to the city square and some shopping malls. It was busy at the hotel due to a McDonald’s convention and McDonald’s people staying there. The staff were invaluable and nice. I had an issue with the air conditioning in my room. I like my room to be cold, which helps me have a good night's sleep, but for some reason, the air conditioner would not go cold even when I had the temperature set to 17 °C. It looked like it was set to only air and we had no control.

I’m a Hilton Honors member and was looking forward to a comfortable stay, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The room itself didn’t feel quite up to standard — it lacked the welcoming and polished atmosphere I’ve come to expect from Hilton properties.

Additionally, one of the biggest frustrations was being interrupted in the mornings while trying to sleep in. Despite having no reason for early disturbance, staff entered or knocked on my door, which made it difficult to rest and enjoy my stay.

As a loyal guest, I expected a higher level of attentiveness to comfort and privacy. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the potential for a much better experience was there, but these issues left me dissatisfied.

Check in was slow, they mixed up our booking with anouther guest, had to ask for a cot to be removed from the room, second key card didn’t work so got stuck in the lobby. If you get rooms ending 50 you are really far from the elevator. Pool towels are teeny, it’s very deep and cold with the doors open to outside, ladies sauna is lovely, you can ask for goggles and floaties at the desk. The lifeguard kindly brought me a larger towel to modestly use the spa. Breakfast was standard, bit weird sitting in the lobby (family section). Priced out of using the hotel bars and restaurants but there is some good restaurants nearby and a supermarket over the car park for an affordable bottle of wine. Beds were super comfy and nice having a separate toilet to shower. Cloud bar is a nice novelty. Staff were lovely (Alexandra on reception very friendly, gave lots of info on the hotel and made sure everything was good for us)(David at breakfast made sure our family had everything and sincerely wished us a nice day - we left with a smile). Okay for a night, ready to move onto our Airbnb with lots more space and local pricing. Oh and if you want hot water for tea it’s in the metal jug not from the coffee machine.

We showed up 3 hours prior to checkin and were advised our room was ready, however a $90 USD early check in charge would be needed. We stayed at the Hilton Old Town in Prague and they did not ask for a fee for the same service. The front desk did let us drop and store our bags until checkin though.

This was our favorite place to stay in all the german and czech places we stayed at - we loved the bathroom (and we requested a tub!!) and the riverside view especially. It was the best place we've stayed at in a long time! We also enjoyed the souvenir store and found the prices were competitive to similar places nearby. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel but poor use of space

The hotel is huge and beautiful. Room & bathroom were large but could use better use of space. Like more drawers. (There were fake ones in the console table) Also better use of space in bathroom like hooks for towels/clothes and a vanity to place stuff. A shower curtain would be useful. Couldn’t figure out how to take a proper shower without spraying down the bathroom. No washcloths which is common out of US but aren’t the Hiltons Americans? Went to rooftop bar but only the tiny section outside, which was full, had a good view. There was a long walk on the view side to get to the bar—why didn’t they put the rooftop bar there? Also the location is on the other side of a highway making it difficult/unpleasant to walk to the sites.

The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very nice. The room was clean and all you needed, my only critique was the mini bar fridge was locked - I didn't intend on using products from the mini bar but it would've been nice to keep my water cool in there. Hotel was well looked after and looked like the pictures online, sometimes the hallways were a little messy from people ordering room service but again this is only a minor issue. The breakfast buffet was great, many options and all tasty, the service was also great

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE TAKING OVERNIGHT TRAIN. ROOM WILL NOT BE READY. They don't care about single travelers. They only care about groups like Viking ship cruisers and large tour groups. Everybody else can get lost.

We had a lovely stay. Wonderful hotel, great facilities. Hotel staff were mostly great, but had a bad interaction with one of the night managers. We had late night food at the cafe . When we went to the till to pay the bill, the night manager was on his mobile phone and continued to use it right up to the point of us being in front of him. He did not seem interested in attending to us personally. Instead of dealing with our bill, he called across one of his subordinates who was actually cleaning somewhere else to process the bill and stepped back and watched the transaction. I found this really strange, and was not sure if this was due

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed in a family room which was adequate in size but there was only one shared bedside cabinet between the 2 double beds. This meant that one person in each bed had no nightstand which was inconvenient. The bath was worn and tired looking and needed an update. There was a separate toilet which was good for a family room but it was small. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The pool was nice but busy as it was Easter weekend. For smaller children there was no shallow area, the pool is one depth of 1.55 metres all over.

Service was amazing from the reception staff. Check in was faultless (minus the long queue)!

The 4*’s were for things like the bath tub/shower area was quite dated in comparison to the rest of the room and not the cleanest, there was no hair conditioner, just an empty bottle but we survived. Rooms could have been cleaned everyday for the price we paid (almost £250 a night). Hot water was good, instant every time, no long wait for it to warm up. Pillows weren’t the comfiest, woke up with a neck ache every morning but I won’t take that personally. Hardly any choice on the TV but we could not fault the location, it was close to where we needed to be. Overall it was a good stay.
