Good hotel in IST

I only stayed one night for a layover in IST. The location is great, there are lots of shops. The service in the hotel is excellent. They also have Sauna, gym, but I didn't use them. The breakfast is excellent. The room is clean, although the wall is thin, I can hear the conversation next door (although they might be in the hallway). Overall, good hotel in IST

Friendly staff. Horrible gym with no aircon. Bad Wi-Fi. TV much smaller than advertised. Simple breakfast where they didn't refill when stuff ran out. No businesscenter.

Rooms were too small. They room card wasn't working and we had to ask every time we need to access our rooms. Breakfast was basic and cheese was too salty it was unedible.

I travel from 1978 all over the world
I never find hotel like this really if I was in hurry and next day I travel I take other hotel and I ask Expedia to pay me back my money this hotel I don't give one star.
Personnel 0 towel very old.

Nice Hotel, Nice Staff, Good breakfast but just the same everyday but few things were in rotation. Cheese,cornflakes,french fries,sausages,salamis,breads,cakes,jams,geen vegetables,soup etc. quite good breakfast.
Nice rooms,quite hotel as we had back side room. Good flow of water. Hot and cold. Lots of restaurants,exchange shops are around this hotel. Lots of shopping nearby. the tram station is nearby. I think just a good hotel by all means at the rate offered.

Our impression

The room was comfortable though small. The view from the window looked out over the cooling fans at the rear of the hotel. The indoor cooling for the room was not activated. With the window open to cool down the room, there was no noise except for the early morning prayer. However the kitchens were also below so breakfast preparation smells also entered the room. In particular the breakfast had plenty of choice and the swimming pool and sauna were particularly good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tramway stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and the general area around the hotel has lots of discount shops and there is a nearby outdoor market.

I was with my wife and two small children we are receiving small rooms Although we have completed a lot of money,
Outside the weather was rainy but not cold, but inside the room was very hot.
Hotel maintains a central air conditioner is powered heating or cooling can run only in the summer.
They happened because the air conditioner was turned off to save money. Every 5 minutes I'm calling to RECEPTION to trigger the air conditioning to cool, kept telling me after five minutes but in the end do not start anything.
At the end I went to talk to the manager, told me straight you can take your family and go to another hotel.
I mythic shocked his speech.
I told him why? what did I do to you ?
He told me You Arabs always have arguments.
He wanted to hit me, I realized that it was Pioneer level of his speech.
I was afraid if I leave I will not return the money, and kept the rest for 3 nights with no air conditioning and the room was very hot issue that my child had asthma and could not breathe.
In addition, the hotel is very, very noisy, pens making noise all the hotel hears the noise, but one could not speak because everyone is afraid of this manager.
I do not recommend this hotel.
Some of the staff were nice but the manager was very aggressive and shouted at us and wanted to beat us even despite I spoke to very nice.
Do not go to this hotel even for free.
The hotel is very small barely lifting his 0-star hotel.

it is ok. I stayed for couple of days. breakfast was good but the saltish dish were very salty.
spa and swimming pool were good but pool was cold. But I never used it.
receptionist should be more tolerable.
They are insisting to vacate the room maximum at 1pm. although hotel was not full. Guest brings many guest. guests advice for some people if they are satisfied. Hotel manager shouldn't have consider as one guest only.
Respect understanding and tolerance if there is any possibility will bring more guests.

Servant in breakfast hall nice and very helpfull.
Receptionist Mr. Nimo also nice gentlman helpful but as being receptionist should be more tolerable.
Because he is the person facing all requests or complain.

Wasn't the best........

Check in went all smoothly an the staff where friendly.

However...
Location isn't ideal - It still is walking distance to the Grand bazaar and the mosque, but just a little bit too much too do for 5 days.
The room has a window but it opened to the centre of the building, so natural light and limited privacy.
We had a large family in the 2 rooms next door who where loud every single night, so there wasn't much sound proofing. Might be because they left there doors open.
Pool, sauna and gym times are TERRIBLE - Pool and gym don't open til 12 PM, and the sauna 6 PM.
Breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast but was not fresh unless you get there very first thing in the morning.

I expected more

There are several points to mention:
1) The internet is terrible cause it will disconnect automatically after several minutes if you don't use it. So if you use internet a lot this is not your place.
2) I asked the reception how can I go to some place after I checked out and he gave me a very wrong address and I was almost lost in the city!!!
3) The place is near old and historical part of Stanbul but I think you don't have to stay at this neighborhood. It is better to stay at a hotel in asian part of city which is more modern and safe (somewhere atound Taghsim square maybe) and go to this neighborhood in day and go out around your hotel at night.

Clean hotel near attractions

Hotel staff welcome us in a very nice way, especially \"Marina\"; she was so friendly and helpful. Hotels was clean, and near to many attraction, just few steps away from tram station. Breakfast was good.

Great Hotel!!!

The best thing about this hotel is the location! Located in Laleli right across from the Mosque, it is right on the Tram line and within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar. The room was small, but clean and very nice. Breakfast was very nice as well. The Hotel service was outstanding and the proprietors speak very good English. They were not pushy at all about local tours, and helped us get everything we need. The neighbourhood is very safe and we felt comfortable walking around the area.

Time hotel is not what you see

The time hotel was not to our expectation of a four star hotel, the beds were rough and hard with a towel-like blanket for comfort. The location was center of the town but its adjacent to the mosque that's an early wake up call for those who not use to it. The bathroom was a nightmare. there was mold on the walls of the shower. Aside from that its close to the city and to a tram station that can take you anywhere to the city . Also the staff of the hotel was nice and helping .

The Time hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the time hotel Istanbul. The location is good as it is close to the attractions, nearly 15 mins walk to the blue mosque. The room is clean and the staff are nice and helpful. The only downside is that sometimes the Internet is not working so well.

Impressed!!!

The hotel met all expectations and the staff surpassed all expectations!! Clean room and friendly staff!!! It was a little noisy, if room is on the front street side, but the overall location makes up for any street noise. It is a ten minute walk to most things of interest in the Old City ( Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, etc.). The rate for the room with breakfast included is a great bargain. Receptionist and management speak English and go the extra mile to give you preferred service.

Det var inte samma bilder som finns i Hotel.com,WIFI funkade inte ,rummet var väldigt smutsigt gammal ,air condition funkade inte , efter många gånger diskutioner fick vi varje dag coffe och te i vårt rum.mitt barn kissade på sin säng och hotelet sa att ni måste betala för byta lakan !!! Diskuterades igen och det blev free , duschkabinen var oerhört smutsigt .toaletpapper fans inte tillräckligt ,vatten kokaren var trasigt .fans inte lampa i rummet och vi bad att hotelet byta den.gardiner var trasig .obekväm hotel .men frukost och personal var värkligen bra .

Expérience de six nuitées a l’arrivée le réceptionniste voulez m'arnaquer il m'a donné une chambre économique fenêtre sans vue alors que Jai réservé une chambre supérieur vue sur la ville heureusement l’équipes de hotels.com a intervenue pour le change Choix du buffet du petit déjeunée pas varié très simple pour un hôtel de 4 étoiles. Images de l hotel ne sont pas conformes à la realite des chambres. Moquette sale, meubles abîmés, literie trop dure. Le seul point positif : le personnel est gentil et encore sauf le manager qui a refuse l acces à ma chambre à ma soeur soit disant pour des raisons de sécurité ( elle etait deja montée dans ma chambre sans souci lorsque c etait une autre personne qui était a l accueil et ca n a pose aucun souci !!!)

Personalet og placeringen af hotellet var perfekt. Sengene var knap så gode at sove på og tæpperne var ufatteligt beskidte, hvilket også gjorde værelserne værre. Der kunne godt blive gjort lidt mere ud af rengøringen, især på toiletterne, da jeg tit kom tilbage til et knap så rent toilet.

Transfert hôtel aéroport catastrophique chauffeur pas présent lors de nôtre arrivée, on nous dit de prendre un taxi et que l’on serait remboursé car le chauffeur est dans les bouchons, surprise à notre arrivée à l’hotel Nous recevons un mail nous informant que le chauffeur nous a attendu une heure à l’aeroport....résultat 4 jours d’appels téléphoniques pour pouvoir se faire rembourser.
Personnel de l’hotel Pas agréable, au courant de rien, fainéant et pas souriant, limite arrogant et surtout personne ne maitrise l’anglais!

iğrenç bir otelde kalmak isteyenler için ideal

Lokasyon olarak güzel ama otel beş para etmez. berbat odalar. banyo iğrenç, 10€ bile çok bu otele. burda kalacağınıza gidin daha ucuz otelde kalın emin olun daha iyi oda imkan alırsınız. Dışı iyi içi berbat bir otel.

Zentrales Hotel in Istanbul

Das Hotel hatte eine Toplage. Allerdings ist das Zimmer sehr klein. Die Möbel sind sehr abgenutzt die Teppiche fleckig. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Buen hotel, necesita renovación.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a 15 minutos a pie de Sultanhamed, a 2 minuto de la estación de tranvía de Laleli y a 5 minutos de la estación de metro de Salkantay.
El desayuno era muy completo, aunque el jugo de naranja era terrible (una especie de tang reconcentrado). El personal del restaurante no era muy simpático.
La habitación es pequeña, pero está limpia y muy completa. La cama es cómoda. Suficiente para descansar después de un día de turismo.
Las instalaciones están un poco viejas. En nuestra habitación la tarjeta tenía un mal contacto y hacia que la instalación eléctrica de la habitación saltara. Las tarjetas llave se desprogramaban frecuentemente.
El personal de recepción era correcto. El botones de noche y el recepcionista de día eran muy simpáticos. Los demás, simplemente correctos.
EL spa estaba bien, pero el agua de la piscina estaba un poco fría para la época (noviembre). El baño turco y el sauna estaban a pleno funcionamiento y se podía entrar por estar en la habitación.
