Beautiful hotel. Staff were kind and welcoming. We really appreciate the hot honey lemon tea on arrival after a long day travelling. Great location right in the action but on a quieter street than others around. Large family room with separate bedroom for the kids. The kids room was located at the back so insulated from the street noise not that there was much and it got quiet after 9pm. I took ear plugs but didn’t need them. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after.

Excellent service from check-in to check-out. We booked to Junior Suite which was lovely & super roomy. The balcony was nice & quiet with privacy. The room décor was lovely, and the coffee machine was a nice touch.
The staff were very accommodating & nothing was too much trouble.
Complimentary mini bar & afternoon tea was a nice surprise during our stay.
Thank you Don for helping us find our feet.
Hotel location was great & close to everything, we had the world at our fingertips!
Room service was ultra quick, thanks guys.
Breakfast was plentiful & accommodated for all needs.
Nice pool and an absolute stunning g roof top bar area.

We had a family room with balcony, which was great as the kids had their own room with two twin beds and we had our own master bed room with balcony view. The hotel was in the heart of the old quarter area so it was very easy to walk around. Lots of food option! The staffs were all very helpful. We would love to stay here again next time we are in Hanoi.

This is an amazing hotel in the Old Quarter, central to everything. We were at the back of the hotel, so very quiet as the streets are noisy and there is often live music in the street close to the hotel. Tirant had excellent staff who would go above and beyond to meet their customers individual needs. They booked us a cyclo and ensured we were not ripped off, exchanged money, provided a corkscrew, additional sheets and transport from the airport at a competitive rate. Their facilities were immaculate, rooms were well priced and centrally located for us to enjoy the old quarter of Hanoi as well as weekend street entertainment.

From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Don Doan Pham went out of his way to make sure we had transportation and information about the sites in the area. Very good location. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel three times in 10 days, each for two nights. For the second and third stays, we downgraded our room. The bed for the first stay was bigger, being a king, and away from the road, so less noisy. Very nice roof top pool area for dining and drinks. My only negative for this hotel is the laundry was expensive. But would definitely use this hotel again if in Hanoi.

We booked the family room. It was the best family room I have ever stayed in. Early morning construction noise on a Sunday. Not the fault of hotel. We had an issue with the airport pickup that we booked thru hotel, but Don & Chester made it right. The breakfast was delicious! Both Vietnamese and American style. Great location close to lake. Our stay at the Tirant hotel was pretty lovely. That was in most part due to the amazing staff. They were always so friendly, remembered our names and notified the entire hotel that I have a seafood allergy so that I didn't face any problems dining with them. Their breakfast was delicious and Chester was the shining star, making us custom lattes and giving us great recommendations. The front desk staff was always available to help get us a cab, make sure all of our needs were met and most importantly, greeted us each time we came into the lobby with a big smile and a warm greeting. While we mistakingly booked an economy room for most of our stay and had no window, the front desk staff helped us book a room with a balcony as soon as one was available. Our biggest issue was the cleanliness of the rooms as there was definitely some wear and tear to the items and missed dust, but even that was not enough to make our stay unenjoyable!
A big thanks to Chester, and the regular nightly front desk attendant (I'm sorry I forget your name) as you all were exceptionally delightful!

imbalance of Price vs room quality

Review was 8+. So choose this hotel.To my surprise i had to change 3 rooms for Aircon not functioning and all rooms has no windows. Breakfast they shut at 9+am.Roofgarden bar they display a tariff in the menu card but they jack on other services cost. overall this hotel deserve Rating not exceeding 6. The price charged is super expensive for the hardship of room changing excercise.

I would recommend this hotel although there were a couple of issues.
It is ideally situated just back from Hoan Kiem lake.
The Skyline bar has good views, although they were doing some grinding work on it during happy hour one night and early hours of the morning which was a bit odd and disturbing but they did stop when I questioned it.
Suites are nice and big. But avoid the 10th floor if plannng a lie in, as it is directly under the breakfast restaurant, so moving chairs disturb.
Staff are pleasant. Hotel clean. Suite nice.

We stayed at the Tirabt hotel for our third wedding anniversary as a stop gap between our travels. The lovely Joy at the reception greeted us and couldn't have been nicer to make us feel welcome.
We booked a suite, it was a lovely room however it did smell a bit musty when entering the room and I saw water stains and some mould on the wall paper which must have been from a leak. However the Jacuzzi bath and larger living space were lovely and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was pretty good. There was a decent selection if you were European and weren't keen to have rice or noodles for breakfast! Chester looked after us. He was excellent and his coffee art was stunning.
The roof top bar was really lovely at night time. It is lit up with fairy lights and there is a bar to get food and drinks from. We got caught in a tropical storm up there but were still lucky enough to be able to sit in a section where the rain couldn't get to us and got to watch it all 11 stories up.
