Spacious clean rooms. Enough amenities. Very good breakfast with some choices. Friendly hard-working staff. We specially book this hotel thinking for long term luggage storage, but we had to take our all the bags for our seven-day trip, because security at the hotel did not give permission for long term storage. Looks like security has more power than the management of this hotel! (We used to store our luggage in other hotel without any problems) We had noisy upstairs people, and they started coming to rooms at 3 in the early morning and made packing noises, big kids running/jumping, banging sounds for over one hour every day. Once we complained to front desk two times still nothing happened, so we went knock their doors personally to stop that issue. We stayed seven days and same trouble every day, we gave up complaining to staff as they could not solve that issue with those people!! We paid extra to get Creek view rooms but did not sleep properly 7 days. The staff work hard to keep this hotel clean all the time, nice flowerpots. The Bellman Omar, room attendant Wazir and breakfast cook Akshan are always full of smile and very friendly with us and other guests. Big thanks to dining room staff.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. We didn't get to try out the breakfast or other facilities. I would like to suggest fitting ceiling fans so the aircon doesn't need to be run so much (our aircon was quite loud). Also, there was a faint smell of stale smoke - I am a fan of non smoking floors. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Reviera Hotel in Dubai, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

The hotel itself is immaculate, reflecting high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Its prime location is undoubtedly one of the best, making it a perfect choice for travelers. The food was nothing short of excellent, offering a delicious international buffet infused with the rich flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine. The breakfast chef was not only highly professional but also genuinely caring—engaging with every guest, explaining the dishes, and even personally ensuring the dining area was perfectly maintained.

The hospitality at Reviera Hotel is truly remarkable. Without hesitation, I would rate the entire staff five stars—from the exceptional hotel manager, Mr. Mustapha, to the dedicated porter, Omar. Mr. Mustapha's professionalism and kindness stood out when I faced an issue with my booking due to an honest mistake. I had unintentionally selected the wrong dates through a third-party platform (Expedia), but he graciously approved the cancellation and even reached out to Expedia on my behalf. His generosity extended beyond this gesture, as he personally invited me for tea at his desk—a level of hospitality I had never experienced at any other hotel before.

Really pleased with the service offered, kind and welcoming staffs. The hotel goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is worthwhile. Not the most modern but it has lots of character and charm.
Nice location in the bustling Baniyas road, close to the creek and Metro station with cab hailing just outside the hotel, 12mins drive to the airport at low traffic times.

The hotel was very responsive to our overall experience and made sure that we were attended to - even upgraded our room, which we appreciated. The view from the hotel is also gorgeous. The only downside is that the hotel has no parking space, which we should have paid more attention to upon booking. The hotel, though, sent us a message upon booking regarding paid parking options.

Service really poor staff on the counter. Customer service was very annoying. Didn’t know how to respect him woman though and never less to let us to check in on time even we send an email about my flight delay and everything they know all things still they make big trouble to us every time when we pass through there was just checking to my family. Is that stay with us or no if you are my place how it was you feel that is really disgusting. First time I seen that hotel you guys are called four star. I think it’s less than zero star.

Incredible hotel!

Allowed early check-in and upgraded our room for free. The staff were absolutely lovely and our room was fantastic. Very clean and the creek view was incredible. We could see Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame part the creek. The breakfast wasn’t bad at first but I can’t complain because the offered to make whatever we wanted the next day. Overall, lovely stay.

Great location wonderful hotel

Great location, amazing staff. Breakfast was ample with a good variety from many countries. The staff is that of a 5 star hotel from the porter to check in and breakfast staff to housekeeping. Everyone made us feel welcome. Even when we couldn't check in early, they welcomed us to leave our bags or just sit and enjoy the views.

Wanted a more local feel. So. Moved from downtown to this hotel. Wonderful decision. Staff was amazing at every level. From check in to breakfast, the porters and housekeeping. Everyone made us feel welcome. Great location and very safe. We wanted a creek view and we're put in a lower level (1). The view was awesome. The AC was a little loud but worked. Breakfast was ample and diverse. The omelet station was a nice touch and they changed the grill items daily. We even had chicken fajitas this morning.

I liked being in a part of town that is old and has some history. I also liked to be on the Dubai Creek and enjoyed thaking the small ferries to visit some sights. Very convenient to the metro as well. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The cafeteria service off-hours was great and breakfast was very abundant and offered great variety of food.

Good Deira location and good value

As a previous resident of Dubai, the hotel met all my expectations: namely being in a great location in the older part of the city, a few minutes walk from Baniyas square metro station, restaurants, supermarkets and shops of all kinds. It also was clean, friendly and helpful staff, and good value for money compared with newer hotels. The only issue is no parking, but having a car in that area is a hassle compared to using the metro and taxis. A taxi to the airport is 25-30 Dirhams and 10-15 minutes. I recommend the hotel, and want to give particular thanks to the employee who helped me round up the 10 dirhams in coins which I needed to park across the street (but not easy to find a space) on the day I checked in and before returning a car. I would definitely stay there again.

Don't waste your money

I booked a royal suite creek view with Balcony for New Year’s Eve to have good time with my girlfriend and watch the fireworks. They denied us staying at the hotel because we don’t have a marriage certificate, although the laws have changed in the UAE. When I requested a refund they rudely refused. If you book with this hotel you will be loosing your money for nothing.

Parking was atrocious; it took 40 minutes to find a spot in the lot directly opposite the hotel. The staff at the counter did not know how to assist with identifying the location to enter to pay for parking online. Room was clean. There were no face cloths. The balcony was a nice size but there was no seating. Fan on balcony was noisy and ill-placed. They only allotted two 500ml water bottles each day. Breakfast was decent for the price.

This is a very nice hotel without all the Dubai flash. The decor and ambiance is very nice with a mid-east flare. Great location. I took daily walks along the waterfront daily (across the street) and dined at nearby cafes and browsed the shops. Very much enjoyed my stay at the Riviera. The staff was more than friendly and most helpful. The breakfast buffet was great....great selection of foods and ethnicity. Plan to stay again next year.

The interior of the hotel and lobby area is very stylish and unique. Very confortable chairs and sofas in various info individual corners,
The room with 2 double beds was spacious with a walking in closet and a balcony with a view of the water. Very comfortable space. I chose this hotel with its proximity to the aIrport, hood ratings, and easy access to the creek, the Souk and the boats to cross the Creek. But I was happily surprised with the cleanness of the hotel, special decor and ambience, space and helpful staff. The street behind the hotel had shops and restaurant within walking distance with more locals than tourists.

I booked Premium Creek View With Balcony to use balcony. Hotel service was exceptionaly good, way more than I expected. The only downside is the room was smaller than I expected. It is closer to Baniyas metro station (Dubai Green) and Union metro station (Dubai red). I really enjoyed staying here.

We stayed 5 days in the hotel, and our hotel was very impressive. We booked a room in front of the creek with a balcony. The hotel is near to the metro, some shops and restaurants. The only problem I got was the air conditioner for the heater not working, but it is not a big problem; otherwise, it was a great experience and comfortable staying in the hotel(Reveira). The staff, from the front desk and bell boy to the kitchen very friendly and approachable. The buffet breakfast was very great with the variety of food they served every day, and delicious. I can't wait to come again.

Amazingly fantastic service!

The Riviera Hotel is most amazing because of it's customer service. Anything you need will be met with a friendly and efficient staff who know what they are doing. They not only arranged my, PCR Test home, my fun activities, my taxi with the extra help of the translation to the driver telling location and coordinates in Arabic,but they also had clean rooms and a great breakfast! Umar was especially helpful and deserves credit for his ability to handle anything that came his way. It's worth your time to stay here.

Are is great by the creeks boat trips ( minute to metro station Nice safe area. Rooms are old fashion style. No old but in the older style which I really. Like. I had a balcony overlong the water with the Dubai skyline in the background. A wonderful oversized bathtub/ shower. Nice toiletries provide. Mini fudge nicely stocked and reasonably priced. The young man from Egypt( I forgot his name) was so helpful, went way above and beyond to help.

Disappointing

Even though it features parking availability, there’s no hotel parking, so you have to leave the car in a common parking area. Room had very dirty windows and stained pillow cases, not mentioning the oddity of the fan carved in the bathroom window, with direct access to the outside (passageway for insects).
Restaurant personnel was totally unaware of menu’s availability and, once they figured out what I was asking (after 10 minutes), they said it was too late because the kitchen closes at 15:00 (15:01 what the clock was showing at that time).
Restaurant even more disappointing at breakfast when, after requesting soy milk, the only answer I got was “we have fresh milk”; useless to try to understand what type of milk was that (whole, skimmed, low fat, etc.) because the answer was still “we have fresh milk”.
Reception could have been more helpful, generally speaking. I don’t believe “I don’t know” is an acceptable answer from a concierge (sort of) upon a request of information about a restaurant in the nearbys.
The room appearance is very 70’s but, that’s about personal taste, very arguable.

The hotel was good. The front desk staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful. We checked in early in the day and were able to get a room promptly without having to wait for the normal check-in time. The room was large (sitting room + bedroom) as was the bathroom. The hotel's location was good as well - a 5-minute walk to the abra stop on Dubai Creek, a 5-minute walk to the Metro station at Baniyas Square (and the airport is about a 15-minute ride), and there were numerous restaurants in the area. The only negative (and it was not really the hotel's fault) was that it was very noisy because of all the construction in the area including a building directly adjacent to the hotel where construction was going on late at night. If I returned to Dubai, I would stay at the hotel again.

Beware the Tourism Dirham tax collected @ checkout

I regret that this hotel did not live up to its enthusiastic reviews by other members.
On arrival, it looked a bit dilapidated; and the carpets in the 4th floor foyer where our room was,had a heavy damp smell. On first impression it was very disappointing . Worse,at check in the hotel tried to collect a room upgrade fee of $41.88 AUD which they waived after an argument,- the current price on Expedia was only $88 per night, much less than we paid at time of booking!.The room, once inside was very good and our room attendant a lovely young man who does clever presentations with the bath towels. We were happy with the location, the food in the restuarant and the view to Dubai Creek. HOWEVER on checkout, rushing to an early morning international flight, they stung us for an added 30 dirhams in cash, when settling our account .BUT we paid an add-on of $51.82 taxes at the time of booking! I argued we had paid lots of tax but they insisted on payment. Scam? We left feeling peeved.

Nice Hotel with lovely service.

Great location. Very welcoming and attentive service from all staff at the Hotel. Close to the airport and walk to the Metro to train around Dubai. Also within walking distance to the Gold and Spice markets. Wonderful breakfast, large room and reasonably priced makes this a great Hotel to stay at - will be our first choice when we return to Dubai.

Forgotten gem of Dubai

The staff at this hotel go out of their way to give you service, with a genuine smile, just like hotel stays used to be. The breakfast which was included had the greatest amount of food choices I have seen in 30 years. The rooms are spacious, and well appointed, and were serviced daily during our three day stay. A short walk to local markets for bargain souvenirs, and a short taxi to the city centre Mall for a great selection of food, boutique shops, etc.
Located in old Dubai, the back streets are not looked after by the authorities like the new Dubai is, however the hotel is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay again given the need to visit Dubai.

Welcoming and reliable.

It was a pleasant experience staying in this hotel.The whole stuff was welcoming and helpful.The rooms were quite and clean.Amenities are provided and replaced everday.Breakfast has sufficient varieties but can be even better.The location was creek side so you just can cross the road and have a nice dinner there or enjoy a boat ride.Metro stations are a few miutes walk away making downtown Dubai 30-40 mis away.I am definitely coming back.
