It is in a red light area and scarry. I just went to the reception n got out. The worse hotel. Expedia shd not be promoting that hotel. On expedia its very deceiving. U dont know wht it is till u are physically present there. Such types of hotel does not suit my standard. I finally checked in four point marriot hotel 5* rating n enjoyed my stay and felt safe. Everything was in walking distance.

The location is perfect for shopping and near shops. The hotel is convenient to access and within business area. The staff are always ready to serve especially the housekeepers. I would recommend to anyone who like shopping and walking to the market centre and near the train station.

This is more than 50 years old hotel without renovation,Terrible hotel ,if u travel from Europe do not expect a 3 star hotel ,it’s not even 1 star .hostels are much better than this hotel .Dirty bathroom ,poor room service ,I stay 4 days only 1 time room cleaning and bed cover never changed only tidy up ,towels changed their colours from white to gray due to age of towels .window is hardly slidable but can’t close the window properly ,I do not recommend this hotel to anyone ,u could find better one at same price little bit far from market .Do not ruined your trip .I am very happy with Hotels.com because I contacted them at 4 o’clock midnight and they reply, complain about the situation and they try to refund me but base on hotel policy I couldn’t get my refund finally they offer me 1 night cost of stay as credit in my app .

Very rude and unprofessional staff, bed sheets were filthy, broken door to the balcony, have been approached in the middle of the night and offered sex, phone didn't work, had to leave after first night, requested a refund for not staying there and they refused. Lost money, had a scary experience, don't go to this hotel!

Bad wifi, no hot water. Was switched to anotjer room and told to run the water on hot for at least 20 to have warm water. Breakfast was Indian food very spicy and bland . Was shown fresh food buffet in pics but no such thing. They also locked my fiance out of her room the last dayof reservation even though it was extended another 5 days 4 days proir. Would not let her re enter the room until a $10 a day \"special vacation tax\" was paid and had to be paid in cash. Lunches were paper bag sandwiches. Dinner again was mostly very spicy indian food with not much taste. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Expedia was not much help and was almost impossible to reach. Very low quality with rude employees and no help or consideration given. Was actually told if you dont like it leave but no money back

I have stayed in hotels all across the globe, both in the West and the East, over the past 20 years.

This was the absolute worst hotel stay in my life.

Even most of the cheap motels I stayed in during my student life are better than this. All best sheets and entire room was absolutely filthy. Staff was incredibly rude. We arrived late in the night; so I had to spend the night somehow; but I took my family and left to another hotel the next morning, wasting my $800.

Don't go to this property. Its absolutely crap. Much better to sleep at the airport than come here.

The place is filthy / mouldy. I couldn't belive that they are actually allowed to charge for a place like this. I took photos.The bed was comfortable. Thats where it stops. No coffee/ no milk or creamer. no teaspoons. no bottled water and they laughed when asked. I had a shower in my thngs as I was too scared to touch the mould and dirt in the bathroom.

Terrible experience, not what is show in photos, couldn’t stay at the hotel and I had to check out immediately. Flies in the room, terrible smell, towels has holes, refrigerator was rusty and has humidity inside. Not recommended at all, for what I paid, I could have stayed in a much better place. I don’t even know why I chose the first option it appeared in Expedia.

The food is very bad the restauraunt in the top floor was closed down, there was a small convenience store that had a small grill and cooked there not commercial equipment, it looked like a grill from home. toilets were stained the seat and all. staff was great except for the front desk. the rest were very nice and respectful and helpful.

The images for this hotel seemed clean and nice but once you enter the room it looks smaller and has an unclean look. The washroom had a few bugs and the doors were molding. I feel they tricked us with the location.

They didn’t provide toilet paper, few pillows, no info, wifi barely worked and lights wouldn’t stay on properly.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. The pictures shown in the website and the reality is totally the opposite.
My children didn’t sleep and use the toilet. Attached are the pictures and videos showing the reality of inside the rooms.
I need a full refund as I’m at getting into another hotel not far away from this hotel.

I booked the room on your site Exedia as it was rated as a 3 star hotel. The room was in need of essential repair. The shower was infested with mildew and stain which is a health hazard and headboards were just plain filthy. Service was mediocre at best and for some reason they wanted to keep my passport for 30 min instead of making a quick copy. Also there was NO hot water as I wanted to take a quick shower before checkout. Don't even get me started on painfully slow Wi-Fi...

OK hotel close to Dubai Creek

The rooms are very big. Our view was good as we could see the Creek.

I was not really impressed with the breakfast options but loved the lunch option.

The wifi was not bad but was not great either: it was average.

Overall, if you are looking for a cheap hotel in Dubai, then this hotel is good. Its about 5 minutes away from the Metro Station.

However, if you are looking for a nice hotel with good hotel facilities, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Arrived and got checked in a couple hours early. Bonus points to the friendly female receptionist. Managers and male staff weren't so pleasent to deal with. Roomboys were friendly and did things properly. Only 1 key card regardless of members in room which is ridiculous. Food wasn't appetising or delicious at all. Booked a dinner package which went sideways with the hotel saying they don't offer dinner but will provide a one off. Very limited variety and bland food. AC leaked in our room which caused a massive puddle of which the room wasn't changed till day 3 since the problem occurred. Was refused to be able to open the balcony door - don't see the point of a sea view room with a balcony in that case. Downstairs cafe was advertised as 24hours but closed at 1am. Lifts were always playing games. Security doorman and the Roomboys made this place homely. Managers where never cooperative or pleasant to deal with. Beds weren't exactly the most comfortable. TV had limited number of channels. WiFi was always messing up and had a restriction to duration of use. E.g issuance of a ticket for username and password for X days before having to request another. Key cards always played up where you had to go all the way down to reception yourself to sort out. Not fun at all from the 8th floor. No common or seating area besides reception with 5 chairs. Had to check out early due to my father's health and was refused a refund for 7 nights and tourism fee because I paid upfront. Outrageous.

Our stay was good and can't complain. Only a word of ADVICE for future occupants. Please keep your room key safe, otherwise you'll never escape the 100 Dirham fine. We nearly got our self into it but thank God, we found our key.

The stuff was not helpful. I request to make a late check out and they inform me that's ok and I can make the check out at 2 O'Clock I prepared my bags and leave it at the recipient but I leave some stuff at the room and went out when I came back at 1:30pm I found the open the room and release my stuff and clean the room without my permission and I ask for my stuff which was in the room they call the housekeeping and he got my stuff.

Do not even think about booking it.

If you think of booking a room in this hotel follow this steps:
1 sit down
2 count from 10 to 1
3 start looking for another place
Hotel looks ok on the pictures, as I was on the budget and for the price I paid didn't expect much but what I saw there was way below my lowest expectations.
Staff doesn't pay much attention when dealing with clients doing few things at once. I didn’t receive standard brief about simple things like breakfast and so on. I read the hotel book and it was said breakfast starts at 7am, next day it turned out it starts at 8. Hotel has 9 floors and dining area is way too small to fit the people. When I mentioned that I’m not satisfied they seemed to switch to “no English” mode and started doing other things.
Fungus all over the bathroom, unpleasant smell, didn’t dare to use the towels provided, luckily I decided to take my own, thin walls (you can hear pretty much everything around and noise from the street).
I met people complaining about cockroaches in their rooms (it didn’t happen to me). In previous comments you can see that they do promise to improve, but in fact is seems like they do nothing about it.
On the good side, my bed was comfortable, and they do have decent WIFI, hotel is located very close to metro station which makes travelling a lot easier.
Over all, I do not recommend this place.
