Very good included spa facilities. Good to have an on-site ski shop and shuttle bus. Dining facilities and food were very good, breakfast was tasty and in plentiful supply and variety, the half board evening meal was excellent - particularly the deserts. Convenient nearby parking. Staff generally polite and helpful. Room facilities like safe and fridge were welcome. However we would have liked to have had ordinary (black) tea and milk in the room and maybe hot chocolate sachets and a coffee machine for proper coffe (as opposed to only fruit tea and nescafe sachets with whitner powder). Drinks in the hotel were also a bit pricey (although this was the case throughout the resort). Overall very pleased.

Better than expected!

The hotel and its location are great for the town as close enough to walk and far enough to be quiet for the children to sleep. Saw a lot of bad reviews about breakfast however one of the best European breakfasts I’ve had for a long time (and I travel 8 months of the year). The pool and steam were great after a day in the slopes and the VIP lift pass was very much worth the extra £. Bansko lift system needs an overhaul but I’m sure that’ll come with all the extra income.
2 minor hotel issues would be bad pillows and that the soundproofing not the best but not deal breakers

Fine, but not great. Our room included a broken shower door (large sliding glass was off track and hanging dangerously). The breakfast buffet was in a windowless basement, with a coffee machine that was broken and leaking water all over the floor. The staff was not friendly; they did not explain amenities at check-in, and when asked basic questions, they were unresponsive and curt. The lights in one elevator lobby were broken, so waiting was very dark in a tight space. The room was large, but basic noises from adjoining rooms could be easily heard through the walls. It was clean overall and the public areas were well kept, but it is just average in every way.

They tried hard to be a high class resort. And they were close. But there were lots of little things that didn't quite make. Examples include a fitness room that wasn't open until 9 am, or living room TV that didn't work at all.

- the heating system of tge hotel is electrical. ls noisy and not working too much. It was cold in the room, even if we let it worked during all nights.
- the pool is small and need some amenties

Very dirty room - we stayed a week and the floor wasn't cleaned once.
Tiny TV ~22 inch.
Soap and other amenities were replaced inconsistently, and further requests from the cleaning staff were ignored.
Subpar gym - very small, 1 partially busted cross trainer, very low variety of free weights, 1 bench, no bars or plates, equipment isn't maintained and staff doesn't know the equipment or how to use it.
Air conditioner works but you unexplainably need to set it to cooling for it to heat up the room, and it then constantly shows the temperature in the room is 50c.

The room is pretty big.
The breakfast is very good, though the menu is constant.
The WIFI is PHENOMENAL. They spent the money for ubiquity APs spread across each floor, and the speed and reception is incredible compared to other hotels we've been to.
Room service wasn't too expensive and was pretty good.

I am writing this review since this hotel is presented as a 5-star hotel, but in my opinion, it is a good 3-star hotel and a very bad 5 start.
Shuttle, the hotel is far from the gondola, which means you heavily rely on the hotel shuttle, the last shuttle departs from the gondola parking to the hotel at 5, which means you need to end your ski day at 3:30, no apre ski, not even a full day of a ski is available.
We were 3 people at the room, but they constantly, every day, gave us 2 robes for the spa and we needed to ask every day a new robe for the third person.
Instead of having a bottle of water every day, we had only one, and only on the first day, it was not renewed the following days.

The food in the main hall for breakfast and dinner is meh, not a lot of variety, the restaurant in the hotel is good but very expensive.

The spa is ok, for a 4-star hotel, but since I paid and this hotel is presented as 5 stars, it is not a good spa at all.

The waiters at the food court don't know English, which means that when we asked for an espresso, we were changed 8 euro for 2 cups of 50ml espresso, it was not explained for us.

we paid approx 800 euro for 3 nights, I believe this hotel worth 45 euro per night.

Amazing Hotel!

This hotel is amazing! Everyone is very nice and polite, the rooms are lovey and the view and location is amazing. We had complimentary wine and water, a crib for our child was ready and they even provided baby shampoos and lotions. I am beyond impressed with the experience. The only suggestion I have is to make better coffee for breakfast, offer cappuccinos and lattes.

Very good service, but old facilities

The hotel is definitely not up to 5-star hotel standards, but maybe for the price is kind of acceptable. The service is very good - everyone is extremely polite and helpful. However the hotel facilities are old and worn out, the spa is very small and busy in peak hours and the carpet in our room was full of hairs stuck in it for long time...the rooms in reality doesn't correspond at all to the pictures published. The views are very nice, the food is good and convenient shuttle to the gondola. Some refreshment might bring real value to this hotel, as it definitely doesn't correspond to the standard of SLH of the World :).

Amazing slopes. Hotel was perfect and staff was very pleasant and helpful. Restaurants had a very limited menu but plenty to eat on a 5 minute walking distance. Breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended hotel. Ski rental run by Vic amazing and guided us to the perfect slopes.

Excellent Hotel & Fabulous Spa

Short two day stay at the Premier Luxury Mountain Resort in Bansko for sight seeing, skiing and self indulgence.
This hotel is classed as being a 5 star hotel and despite some
areas seeming a little worn and tired, actually giving the premises a more homely atmosphere, this was made up for comfortable, spacious rooms complete with all amenities.
We all stayed in superior suites, and each and everyone of us was well satisfied with our rooms.
Breakfast is abundant in choice, fresh and delicious.
Ski gear services are also more than satisfactory.

What really stood out during our stay was the hotel spa.
Most of us took advantage of the spa facilities and indulged in various massages. The facility is well managed by Jean & Dafni at the spa reception. Welcome was warm, flow of information and description of available services precise. My personal masseuse was a lady called Agni. After a day on the slopes, Agni did wonders to relieve tired leg and arm muscles. Her massage was excellent and enjoyable, and if we would not be leaving the next day I would definately had rebooked with her.
In general, all our friends that took massages found them to be
truly amazing.

Summer stay in Bansko

Good location with mountain views-if you're in the right room - I'd request one. Pool area nice although a little small for size of hotel. Spa area also good but quality of massage not great - manager of spa gave an extra massage which was much better. Staff very professional and reacted quickly to any of our concerns i.e. Leaking shower, offensive graffiti on lift door. Quality and choice of breakfast was excellent and kept topped up throughout service time. Not 5* by UK standards but a pleasant place to stay.
Hotel is surrounded by half built buildings which is a shame and not their fault. Town is being over developed without capacity. First impressions not great. Walk to old Bansko is 20/30 mins downhill and it is lovely there with lots of restaurants and bars open in the summer.

Great expectations but disappointing

Hardly a five star hotel. The suite was quite outdated, parking is a bit of a mess, nobody serves in the lobby bar during the day, the waiter at the pool area was rude and the food was tasteless. On the positive side, the breakfast was good.

Stayed here from 31/03/18 for a week. Beautiful hotel. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and super friendly. Our rooms were very spacious, comfortable, so clean and decorated to a very high standard. At breakfast there was everything you could possibly think of, various fresh pastries, full continental, full English, cereals, porridge, various nuts and dried fruits, fresh fruits so much choice and the chefs made fresh pancakes and omelettes to order. Various fresh juices. The staff brought your teapot/coffee pot to your table. The staff were very happy and friendly, so accommodating, which is what you need to start your day. Nothing worse than unhelpful staff which i have experienced before in other hotels. The bar staff were great too, always remembered you. Restaurant was top class too. Pools, jacuzzi and spa were clean and top class.

Overall the staff and management seem very happy. Happy staff makes for a happy hotel. This hotel is superb and worth a visit even if its just for a weekend. They truly make you feel very special.

Good hotel but nowhere near 5 star rating

Second time we stayed here and everything is gone down the hill compering to last year. Unfriendly and unprofessional receptionists, waiters more friendly but extremely slow and useless. (clearly new and untrained staff) Room needs lots of upgrading, damage to tiles, food floor, furniture, damage door, towel railing hanging on 1 screw, door key not working had to go to reception 6-7 times etc. Swimming pool tiles damaged and loose and exterior pool closed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Hope they train their staff and do those necessary work as most people we met had same unpleasant experience

Nice place to stay for a romantic break in Bansko

My girlfriend and I spent 3 great days at this beautiful Hotel during a weekend break in March 2018. We booked an Executive Room but we got upgrade to a Suite Room thanks to my Inspired SLH membership. The room was huge, well furnished with a nice comfort bed and bathroom with Bulgari amenities. Hotel has lovely interior and exterior (e.g. fireplace space/bar on the ground floor) with nice SPA and pool area. It is located on outskirts of Bansko but not too far from main ski lift and city centre (with many great restaurants and shops). Also tasty breakfast and very affordable room price for a 5* Hotel. Recommend it!

Very nice hotel enjoyable family stay

Nice hotel. Staff were friendly. Rooms were well laid out for a family with nice lounge area. Short 10 min walk to Bansko centre and ski bus was free of charge. Spa facilities were good, spa massages were excellent. Good selection at breakfast. Fantastic local wine in the bar, though prices were a touch rich for the area. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming being polite and efficient.

We stayed here on March during a ski trip, with half board included. The food on both breakfast and evening buffet was good, with a lot to choose from. The room was big and clean, with a nice view of the mountains. The spa has everything you would expect, although my only complaint is that the only pool that was operational was a heated swimming pool, which was too hot to swim in. There is an outdoor pool that operates on summer months.

We bought a massage treatment at the spa centre as well. Our therapists, Alex and Katerina were very professional and accommodating, and the whole experience was great, and much needed after days on the mountain.

Good hotel, with the vip passes for the gondola which is essential if you want to avoid the 2 hour wait and go straight to the front of the queue. The alternative is a taxi to the top of the gondola instead which isn't much more expensive and is quicker.

Nice bar and spa. OK breakfast. It wouldn't be 5 star elsewhere in the world. Seems a bit tired, but probably one of the best hotels in Bansko.

Terrible experience in the restaurant which I would avoid, surly waiters, cold food, overpriced local wine. Waitresses were friendly. Background music via terrible over loud singer with dodgy 70s electric piano and cheesy backing tracks.

Much better places to eat in town. Red Hot was the friendliest and best food and wine without thumping music that a lot of the more modern bars have.

Overall good for a 3 day stag ski trip.

Bansko Premier Luxury Mountain Resort Review

Overall this is s good hotel. There are small nagging nuances which would help to improve this hotel.

More staff needs to learn English, particularly those serving food and maid services.

The bath tub/shower area needs an extended door to avoid water on the floor. This subsequently required us to use and request more towels. For a 5-Star hotel this should not be necessary.

The towel rack in the bathroom was not fastened to the wall very well.

There should a minimum of two face towels. We only had one.

The hot water knob at the sink was missing a cover.

During snow and ski season, a door mat would be helpful for when we walk in with wet shoes.

A rug in the main walk-in area of our suite would be a nice warming touch.

There was a large empty corner area in our room. Like something was removed from the corner and nothing was replaced. Additional furniture or something warming would be good here.

The wall socket in the same empty corner was loose and coming out. Not comfortable to use.

An additional wall socket by the desk would be helpful or a eletrical outlet and USB outlets at the desk would be helpful.

Additional electrical and USB outlets in the bedroom would be helpful so devices can be charged nearby overnight.

Instructions for setting up the safe's code was missing. We had to call for help.

Lights are not consistent in color. Suggest warm color lights consistently across all electrical lights.

Room could've been cleaner, tv had annoying green line the screen. I'd say it was more like a 4 star. Mini bar was reasonable (although evidence of a few bottles had been tampered with by previous guests, I was worried i would charged for those) complimentary wine on arrival was a nice touch. Upon settling mini bar bill, they send a staff member to your room to confirm what you've had. All was good, I paid. So all I had to do in the morning was check out in the early hours ... Next thing I'm being told is I owe 5 Lev upon check out. The guy who was told to check our mini bar obviously got confused and also restocked and charged us for the privilege. Was not impressed, clearly lack of communication amongst staff. Breakfast was nice enough. Bed not that comfortable, was expecting a lot more 'luxury' for a 5 star and the price tag that came with it.

Nice hotel with stunning mountain views

Stayed here in June, arrived early hours in the morning and there was a lovely welcome pack in the room of sandwiches, juice, fruit and wine. The room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful with information. Hotel was quiet, which really suited us. Situated beside a woodland area with good walking paths. With being here off season, the town was quiet, with many of the shops and bars close, to the hotel, were closed. Further down the hill to the town centre was busier, with shops, bars and restaurants, very reasonably priced. We hired a car and drove up to the mountains, which we would highly recommend.

Great hotel, very friendly and polite staff, room was comfortable and cleanish. Good facilities includes swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi etc. Food in restaurant was great. Although hotel was good i would not rate it 5 star, there is nothing luxurious there to rate 5 star

Great hotel, fantastic staffs

We have had a wonderful time in this hotel. The best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was any trouble. They went that extra mile to make our holiday the best it could be.
In the morning, the breakfast was not only very tasty but the perfect start to the long skiing days with the staff making sure we had everything we needed.
The Spa was really therapeutic and very addictive. The pool, so relaxing after a day out on the slopes. To top it off, the hotel's restaurant,AMVROSIA, had delicious meals to round off the day.
We would strongly recommend this hotel to families and groups and intend to return in the near future ourselves.

Overall good. Good location, very friendly personal, shuttle to ski center (but literally all hotels in Bansko offer this service), solid breakfast. But hotel requires urgent remodeling - looking old. I would not rate it like 5 star.

Luxury ? 5 stars ? No way!!”

The only thing that was 5 stars is the staff. Very polite, very gentle. Especially Kostadin.
The spa is too small and it was very dirty. Only hamam was working and the temperature was too low.
The indoor swimming pool is very small and there was no daily light it was too dark. The furniture is old , rooms are ok but they look old too. The restaurant is ok and the food was tasty.
So if you go there expect 3 stars hotel!! Is too far from 5 stars and even more far from luxury
