We just stayed one night, but it was very nice. The restaurant was a Gasthaus 1 km away, which we enjoyed. Lovely breakfast in the hotel the next morning. Well worth having.

24hr reception essential as I checked in late and checked out early. Very good for an overnight stop on the way to north Denmark. The Nespresso machine and large bottle of sparkling water in the room were an unexpected bonus given the price.

As others have said, the a/c in the room is loud however in September I found its use unnecessary. Staff were very friendly and room was clean. Very convenient if travelling by car due to proximity of the motorwway, however I did not find it too loud.

Really does what it says on the tin ! Helpful friendly staff, good parking functional comfortable room , asked for a quiet room away from the road , but it was a late booking and had had an email to say that they only had roadside rooms left but they would do their best for a quiet room, which was very much appreciated, as it was there was no road noise, didn’t have to have windows open as good aircon and had a really good nights sleep after a long journey . A very enjoyable overnight stay for me and my dogs who were welcomed. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff, especially the lady who welcomed me upon arrival, were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner due to the pandemic but it was possible for a takeaway service delivered to the hotel. A handy overnight stay and I am sure for a longer visit to with easy access from the A1. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

The greeting upon arrival was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Due to the Covid restrictions, dinner was not available but we were offered a choice of meal deliveries to the hotel and the receptionist ordered on our behalf. Excellent breakfast. All Covid precautions were good. Would happily stay there again.

Friendly welcome in clean hotel

Hotel just had a facelift. Welcomed at reception. We were given a ground floor room which was an upgrade when they saw I had mobility problems. Asked for extra pillows and got them immediately. No tea bags though. Kettle was faulty but quickly rectified with a replacement. Breakfast more than adequate and good price. Happy with our stay

A nice basic hotel, with a friendly staff and a fantastic optional buffet breakfast that's conveniently open until 10 a.m. - which is great when you arrive with jet lag. Although located on a quiet side street, it is conveniently situated near the A1 highway that takes you quickly to Bremen's center and airport.
There were some things inside the facility that were less than optimal: an elevator button that was not working properly, and a faucet that blew out its front when I turned up the water flow. Also, the tub you use for both bathing and showering is extremely slippery - an accident waiting to happen.
I would have liked more opportunities to eat at the hotel. They do have a limited number and variety of ready-made sandwiches in the lobby's fridge, but it would be nice if they could open their spacious breakfast room for a simple buffet lunch/dinner or, as a minimum, a well-stocked freezer and microwave for those who remain at the hotel now and then.

Comfortable bed, clean room. No keys - instead a code you have to enter on the door.
Several restaurants in the nearby mall. But the hotel is on the outskirts of town and not directly near anything.
Breakfast is not included.

Not handicap friendly.

Even though hotel is older it is in a nice quiet area and clean. We booked a handicap room a month prior to visiting and upon arrival they did not have the room (given to another person) and the room had a bathtub which was not accessible.

Great place to stay when you are visiting Bremen for a few days. Good solid hotel with conf rooms. Rooms are clean and efficient, but they are not luxurious.. still use shower curtains

Old building however somewhat modern

On arrival we were met by Petra the lady at reception. She was very gracious and welcoming. We were told where our room was and headed up in the elevator. On entering the room I was rather surprised. I was expecting a run down room with very dated furniture, however, I’m not saying it was extremely modern. We managed to get 9 hours sleep and were very comfortable.
The hotel is way out of the city centre, so if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk and a 10 minute train ride then you should stay here. We paid a reasonable price of £45 per night and were completely satisfied.

Hotel typical Best western business type hotel. Situated in Achim which is about 15 km outside Bremen. 7 minutes on train into Bremen from Mahndorf station (4 db train tickets for 10 euro) Journey into town fine for the couple of days I was there.

Nice hotel close to railway line!!!!!!!!!

At around 2-00am I had 3 trains pass by in 40 minutes, even with the windows shut and ear plugs in I could still hear them!!

I won't ever stay there again.

We stayed over late in the evening to take a break from our long journey from Finland to the UK. We arrived late at night and was greeted very well. Nice and close to the main motorway but a very peaceful nights sleep with no traffic noise. We will stay again next year on our journey.

Great hotel for a stop over

We needed somewhere cheap to stay overnight whilst we travelled from the Netherlands to Kiel to catch a ferry. This hotel is perfectly located right by the autobahn (2 mins) and is extremely good value for money. We have used the hotel previously for a similar reason. The hotel is relatively modern, with large and comfortable rooms. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended with the only downside being the noise from the trains which pass near by throuhout the night.

Pleasant stay in suburb, but a little shabby

We stayed 2 nights during visiting Bremen. The hotel is about 1 km from the train station Mahndorf where it is possible to take train to the city centre. The train is unfortunatelly passing the hotel so you can hear its noise in the regular intervals but we did not care about that. Room was without airconditioning and a little shabby, but spacy and clean. It takes about 3 km to Mahndorfer See with sand beach and natural bathing possibility.

While the staff seemed very friendly and helpfull and the room was, very basic, and quite clean there were a few things that let this hotel down.

As a foreign guest all the TV channels were German and dubbed in German, nothing for the non fluent German speaking guests to watch.

There is no bar in the hotel or any bar close to go to, the receptionist said 13km away.

There was nowhere to get food except the vending machine in the lobby.

So in short, a comfortable, clean, basic hotel with little to no amenities.

Situated in the outskirts, but well connected to main roads, perfet for short stop. Free parking and quiet place gives additional benefit to this place. Of course if you need to work using wifi, this place is not for you. Slow and not stable, contrary to the staff, which was assisting very much.

This hotel met my exppectations perfectly.

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel for two nights. As it is located just north of Bremen, it's not in the city center, but public transport is located within walking distance. We arrived by car, so it was convenient in my case. The rooms are fairly basic, but very clean, comfortable, and I was very happy with the service I received by the front desk staff. I did not eat their breakfast which is served for an additional fee, so I am unable to comment about this. Their free wifi was great as well. Overall, I am very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it to others.

Badewanne am rosten gewesen ,wodurch das eingelassene Wasser gelblich aussah und man die Badewanne nicht nutzen konntem Staub saugen hinter dem Spülkasten täte mal gut. Klimaanlage die sich ständig ein und ausgeschaltet hat und Töne von sich gegeben hat was ein Krampf war beim Schlafen. Frühstück ok

Op zich was de kamer schoon, zag er op eerste blik ook goed uit. Alleen als je de kussens weg haalde wat tegen het hoofdbord stonden zag je afbladderende plekken op het hoofdbord wat het dan weer oud en aftands uit liet zien. Badkamer was schoon maar ook deze zag er oud uit. Over het algemeen kan heel het hotel wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Perfekt hotel. Var på vej hjem fra ferie og havde brug for en overnatning på hotel tæt på motorvejen. Vi fik alt vi kunne ønske: stor parkeringsplads, nem indtjek, gode værelser, super seng, rent og god morgenmad. Receptionen havde også forslag til tre spisesteder i gåafstand. Vi valgte en helt nyåbnet indisk restaurant ca 700 meter fra hotellet. Det var helt genialt. Kan virkelig anbefales.
