recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The hotel offers convenient access to both a Starbucks and a nearby mall, which was a nice bonus. The mall itself has a fantastic hot pot restaurant, perfect for a delicious meal.

The hotel’s breakfast service was impressive, with long hours, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed morning meal. The laundry room only had one working washer during my stay, but since it wasn’t busy, it wasn’t an issue. I appreciated that the hotel provided detergent, and both the washer and dryer worked quickly and efficiently.

My room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return.

Good to stay in Holiday Inn Taichung Park

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn worldwide. Never have they disappointed us. We stayed at 11th Floor in Taichung Park branch. The view is great. The staff were nice and friendly. The breakfast place are fantastic. We were very happy to stay with Holiday Inn again. No doubt.

It’s very near to the bus station to travel to QingJing Farm and Sun Moon Lake. Also, walkable distance to eatery and night market. The beds are comfortable and the room is spacious for family of 4 to stay in. We had a great time staying in Holiday Inn Express Taichung park.

Don't expect anything but a nice room!

The room was clean and good sized. If all you want to do is sleep and shower, the hotel is very good. Front desk service was excellent. I was checked in less than 2 minutes! The restaurant was terrible unless you are Taiwanese. Basically, no Western selections for breakfast. I never went back for any other meal. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but for some strange reason it doesn't open until 11:00 AM!

Decent hotel, next to the Taichung Park and not far from Taichung Station. Not the super convenient location as I prefer busier place so I can eat and browse till late, but you may be different. The location is quiet at night with a couple of convenience stores nearby.

A very nice hotel near Taichung Station

Staff in are very friendly, in particular in the Reception. Fast check-in and checkout. Unfortunately (to us), the restaurant was under renovation while our 5-night stay and the buffer breakfast became breakfast box delivered to our room. But it is lucky to check in after renovation. Easy to travel to any places inside or outside Taichung City. Overall, I have very positive feedback to this hotel and am happy to stay in this hotel again.

Nothing too special about the breakfast, although it would’ve been nice if they had some more local foods to try. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

Good hotel opposite Taichung Park, near 2 night markets and 10 mins walk from the bus and main train station. Good size rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Front office staff very helpful. Breakfast was really good with daily changes to the menu.
Cons: No room service so every time you need something, you have to go all the way down to the reception to get what you need.
Breakfast is advertised till 10 am however at 945 am the staff start clearing out the food. If breakfast is till 10 am, it means you can come up to 10 am and still have breakfast. If they clear the food by 10 am then the breakfast time should be advertised till 930 am.

Nice, “express” hotel - adequate for a brief stay. Helpful and efficient staff - nicely maintained.

Breakfast could be improved - no fruits other than bananas. Coffee not the greatest. Peak time the breakfast gets crowded because of group bookings, so go early or late.

Nothing to complain with this price. It is conveniently located near the Taichung Rail station. The night market is just around where you can buy loads of food and do some shopping. The rooms are small but are clean and neat just like what you look for from a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Helpful staff were all around. You won't be disappointed.

Breakfast is very appreciate.

After the hotel staffs realized that my luggage had been lost for three days on Taoyuan Airport Shuttle, I had a lot of bags to leave with them before I left and I did not eat chicken. They welcomed me very well, even staying here for only one night.

Near Taichung Station but far from Rainbow Village

Stayed one night at Taichung Park. It is near the train station but a bit too far to walk with heavy belongings. Feng Chia Market (for me, the best night market I've visited in Taiwan) and Rainbow Village are pretty far from this hotel, the main reason we visited Taichung.

Nice and clean room. Polite and efficient staff. Very good breakfast. Convenient location. Highly recommend that you pay extra for a park view room on a high (11th or 12th) floor. There are park view rooms on 5th or 6th floor, which are ok. But a high floor one is much better.

Luxury and view in super convenient location

The hotel is located in a super convenient location, just across the street from landmark Taichung Park, and within a few minutes' walk to many bus lines (including the Taiwan Haoxing tourist buses for Sun Moon Lake and Xitou), Taichung's central station, and the intercity bus terminal. Check-in and check-out were very quick. Staff is very nice. The hotel is chic, with a nice lobby, and on each floor, there's a lounge/viewing deck to see Taichung Park and the city skyline. My room was on a high floor and had a floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall window to take in gorgeous views. It was spacious stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast -- enjoyed in the very pleasant inner courtyard -- could do with a little more variety but is very nice in itself.

OK Hotel with friendly staff and bland breakfast

I asked for a room with 2 beds but got a room with 1 bed. I asked to change rooms but was told that was all that was available for a Park View Room. The park is under reconstruction, so paying for the ugly park view was definitely a mistake. Breakfast was not so good, but the staff was helpful. I was able to do some laundry while at the hotel.
