Everything stood out on this stay for us. Booking, check in, room, surrounds, restaurant, coffee but the key feature is the staff. We felt blessed to have such wonderful staff look g after our every need. Especially shout out to Puna, Kee and Chan who really treated us like royalty and to the excellent cleaning staff who gave five star service to cleaning our room daily! Magnificent. Highly recommend this place to travellers. The gardens and pool truly beautiful. Location great if you don’t want to be in heart of city. Can walk or grab a loca. Also coffee superb! I am a coffee snob and I rate this coffe highly. Loved breakfast full of options and we ate at restaurant
Most nights as food was great and reasonably priced. Thank you to everyone at the Green Park for what was a long and wonderful stay ! We will be returning x

Our first time in Vientiane was made most memorable by the team at Green Park Boutique Hotel. From our arrival to departure everyone went out of their way to make our stay as great as possible.

All the staff are very friendly and many had very good English which helped us with tips about the local area and answering queries about the Laos culture and cuisine. Special mention to our friend at breakfast, Puna, who was an inspiration in her hard working nature and desire to continue her education while working.

Very comfortable room and lovely pool area. By the time you finish a few laps someone from the restaurant will have delivered a complimentary cold water which is a nice touch after a hot day of exploring the city.

I would definitely recommend Green Park Boutique Hotel for a good base in Vientiane. It is close to two shopping malls with lots of food options and the central bus station, which we used to catch a local bus to Budha Park - great fun :)

We stayed at Green Park Boutique Hotel for one night during our trip to Laos and absolutely loved it. The staff are super attentive and the breakfast in particular is outstanding and adds such value. The pool is also lovely and was much needed after a day of exploring the city. The hotel is very near the COPE centre which is well worth a visit!

At first we were a little skeptical when booking online, but this hotel is a tropical oasis. When walking in you’re greeted by the hotel host who opened the door and helped with our luggage’s. The pool was phenomenal and it was nice and quiet. The staff were very attentive, served us water right away while in the pool or during breakfast. I hurt my foot and one of the host was so kind, walked us across the street to the pharmacy to help translate. Breakfast is included, buffet style and menu options. Rooms were nice but a bit outdated which we didn’t mind at all. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every moment! Would book again!!

We had a good stay at Green Park Hotel. The staff were amazing, very helpful and always happy to help with any questions or requests including helping to book train tickets.

Facilities were very clean and pool provided much needed refreshment from the heat of Vientiane. The gym had good equipment for a good workout with a good blend of cardio, weights machines, and free weights.

It is well located with easy walking distance of many of the main sites or a short taxi/tuk-tuk ride if you do not fancy walking in the heat.

Breakfast was great and good mix of local and international food on offer and restaurant had a good selection for supper too.

Nice hotel a little outside city center

We stayed only one night. Hotel was nice, staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is located out of the city center, but they offer a shuttle service. You can also rent their bikes for free, which we used to visit further attractions(temple and arche). The pool was a greenish color, but we swam anyways. Breakfast was good with your usual options (american and asian). I would recommend staying in a hotel more in the city center, but this is fine if you are just passing by in Vientiane.

Very nice traditional boutique hotel just outside all the hassle and bustle of the main area - easy accessible by tuk tuk though I walked to the restaurants and Mekong River - about 2km. Very quiet - well apart from the wildlife. Be wary that your laundry will be returned at the given time - I did have a couple of issues here but staff very helpful - negative was the local cat being allowed into the breakfast room - unfortunately it did appear on the food counter and I did have to shoe it off - also would be good to have covers for the food as many flies ( region hazards) and as the items are out from 0630-1000 plenty of time for the flies to visit New shopping centre being finished nearby so handy for the shoppers

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room overlooking the pool, which was chilly, but very welcome. Very quiet location, had a meal from the restaurant on the terrace rather than inside as it was so quiet. Staff very helpful with my requests for assistance with sightseeing. It's a little way out of the centre of town, but given that Vientiane is so small, that was hardly an issue!

The hotel has a central location. It's small and charming hotel with a tranquil atmosphere and a wonderful green garden. The room is in traditional Lao style and has all the facilities I wants from hotels on my business stays. Clean and tidy, spacious bathroom, comfortable double bed, a living area with sofa & tv with all the sports channels I like, a good working desk, reliable high speed internet and a nice balcony to have an outdoor break, a minibar and good selection of room service. The breakfast restaurant is also very nice with indoor and outdoor area and a good assortment of food.

Had a lovely 2 day stay in Vientiane. The Green Park Hotel is very welcoming, staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely building reflecting Laotian tradition. Quite nearby to the main centre of the city (15 min walk) and there is a very handy complimentary shuttle service. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the swimming pool is great and breakfast in the main restaurant was pretty good. I would highly recommend a stay here ! :)

Stayed 5 nights over New Year period. Hotel is comfortable with welcoming staff. Rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped. There's a lovely garden/swimming pool area where it was nice to relax. Hotel is a good walk from city centre so we much appreciated the free hourly shuttle bus and the bicycles lent to residents. The only drawback was the mosquitos which tend to accumulate in and around the rooms, but mosquito nets and coils were provided and were effective.If returning to Vientiane we would go back to Green Park.

Quality hotel, lovely rooms and pool area. A little bit away from centre of town but courtesy shuttle bus runs drops and collects at regular times. Staff nice. Good breakfast selection only drawback at present is building work currently ongoing on adjacent ground behind the restaraunt area but this has nothing to do with the hotel. Great place for a 2 or 3 night stay when staying in Vientiane.

Nice boutique hotel - lots of room for improvement

We stayed for 4 nights in the executive suite. A nice spaceous 2 bedroom suite with fine looking furniture and a balcony overlooking the pool area. Nice touches, with an enclosed garden outside the bathroom window, and nice \"antique\" decorations. Large beds were quite hard. Sofa and chairs looked good, but very uncomfortable to sit on. Bath is rather dated. Tiles in bathrooms were badly damaged (unfinished or poor workmanship?).
A bit of a problem with tiny ant invasions - but that is not uncommon in the tropics.
The next door 7-a-side football pitch was well used every late afternoon and evening, resulting in consistent penetrating noise.
The pool is nice with a jacuzzi part, but the water is a bit cloudy (as consistentlly reported by others before).
Breakfast is rather poor for SE Asia standards, with limited choice especially for non meat eaters like us. Re-filling empty plates on the buffet is poorly organised. Opening hours of the restaurant were a bit restrictive -dinner time as from 18.30 was a bit too late for us (due to kids bedtime).
Staff were friendly, but not many spoke English. Overall friendly and enthusiastic staff, but lacking professionalism.
The hotel is situated outside the centre of Vientiane. The free hourly shuttle service on demand was well organised.

Had 6000 baht stolen from my suitcase

I exchanged some baht for the next leg of my holiday and put them in a travel wallet. There's 2 or 3 times where I didn't lock my suitcase as I was only going for breakfast or lunch in the hotel. When I did my next cash count I was short 6000 baht roughly. I went through all my spendings 4 times and it was definitely stolen in the hotel as I didn't use them in Laos. Lock your stuff away even if you are only stepping out for a few minutes, the room cleaners cannot be trusted and will go through your belongings.

The hotel staff were courteous and very helpful. The wait staff needs more training in their particular functions such as bar tending or meal delivery (e.g. taking 2 or 3 trips to deliver the right utensils for a meal like a spoon for soup, or delivering all ordered items at the same time...appetizers, entree, etc.)

The dining room was very nice but could use some soft, local flavor music. Dining felt like eating in a library...too quiet and serious.

All-in-all I enjoyed this place and would visit it again.

Fabulous and quiet luxury hotel

We loved our stay at Green Park - luxurious buildings and delightful tidy grounds, the best and most choices of breakfast we had in our holidays, quiet and effective aircon, beautiful green tiled swimming pool with plenty of loungers - each with a BIG fluffy towel (and spares), unobtrusive but really helpful and lovely staff who anticipated every need. Examples: manager walks through breakfast area, greets us as he walks, notices my near empty coffee cup and said - would you like another espresso? I was sitting on a couch in the shade reading emails and a staff member brought me a glass of cold water without any request, the two of us were having a wine and beer in the lounge area when a staff member came along with a newspaper and asked if we would like to look at it. There were so many thoughtful instances such as these. Although the hotel isn't in the centre of Vientiane, it hardly matters as it isn't far out (short trip in a tuktuk) and the hotel provides free hourly shuttle every evening to and from the city centre. We would stay here again in a flash - if we had the chance again.

We had a very pleasant stay - originally 3 nights, which we extended to 7. Hotel is very attractive, set in a lovely garden with pleasant swimming pool and fountains. Each room has a lovely balcony where you're hidden behind shady trees. Breakfast was great with excellent service. The staff could not have been more helpful and the hourly shuttle bus into town (you could easily walk this, we did) was useful. It's right next to the fascinating morning market and opposite easily the best museum I've been to for a long time - the COPE visitor centre which gives helpful and inspiring info about progress with land mine clearance and prosthetics. There's a free transfer to the airport, too.

This hotel had everything to offer for a pleasant get away with the convenience of a free shuttle to the city centre. The place was so peaceful and tranquil with the hotel staff not able to do enough for you. Everything was politely provided and nothing was too much to ask for. Always smiling and offering everything to make our stay welcome and wonderful. A special thank you to Mr. Thapharak the hotel manager who helped us to extend our stay and make everything convenient and provided us with a beautiful room. Also a special mention to Mr. Bounsalerm at reception who helped in anyway he could answering all questions and offering help whenever needed. All staff require a thank you from us as we were so well looked after. Such a shame to leave this beautiful hotel. We have stayed all over South East Asia and this hotel by far is number 1!

A LOVELY STAY IN THE CAPITAL

We had a lovely stay at the Green Park. The staff were super, the establishment was lovely and comfortable. After sight seeing it was nice to be able to relax by the swimming pool, under the palm trees.

Great hotel!

We stayed for three nights in this hotel, and it was one of the best hotels in which we have ever stayed. The ambience is just great, and the staff tries very hard to provide the best service possible. The location is a little far from the city center. But the hotel is right across the street from COPE which is a must see in Vientiane. We highly recommend!

Beautiful surprise in Vientienne

We booked this hotel off the Internet unsure what it would be like. What a wonderful surprise to find such an oasis in Vientiane. Calm and serene, beautiful rooms with quality fittings and staff who could not do enough for us.There was always a car available to take us into town even outside shuttle times. Great breakfast too!! Outstanding hotel.

Excellent hotel, used to be in a quiet corner a decade ago, now in the heart of the new shopping malls, but also restaurants and cocktail bars around. Still one of the most charming hotels in Vientiane, a oasis of calm with great staff and good food.

Un excellent choix à Vientiane

Nous avons passé 4 nuits au Green Park. Accueil excellent et très professionnel. Personnel adorable.
Jardin et piscine au top avec sunbeds. Chambre spacieuse, literie confortable, salle de bain avec baignoire/douche.
Petit déjeuner topissime (buffet + à la carte à volonté).
Le musée COPE se trouve juste en face (très intéressant).
Un excellent choix !

Le personnel accueillant et très agréable bon service. L’hôtel mériterait un grand rafraîchissement de même que les salles de bain. L’endroit est tout de même très très agréable et reposant. Même à pieds proximité du centre 15mn environ.
